rj2 - Thanks for sharing the call details. Brian has shared similar details with me as well. Getting projects funded seems to be a common problem and slows the process down. Steve Duchesne's company will answer part of the funding problem, but the projects need to be very large for them to be interested. A co-gen project would be a good example - multiple millions needed.
Getting projects to actually pull the trigger has been the problem all along. That seems to be changing given higher energy prices and, in part, carbon credit laws being enacted.
Jackson Labs added a bio-mass heating facility a few years ago and reduced their costs by $1.1 million annually. It won't be long before more large facilities convert and drive demand for wood pellets. That in turn will drive KDS demand. The recent Russian machine sale was exciting because their government is trying to move their own citizens off nat gas to biomass. Better to sell the gas to Europe and use local wood for heat. If Adam can help that facility get to full capacity, I don't believe it will be long before more KDS's are ordered.
There are a lot of projects that appear to be on the cusp and many of those are likely to complete deals this calendar year.
Keeping my fingers crossed!
