yer probably right,
maybe i'll buy a couple hundred thousand. still risky.
i don't get it...
someone said they were waiting for a call back from MB (can't find the post). anyone hear?
also, does anyone know when we're supposed to get this big PR statement? for some reason i'm remembering a guess of thursday of this week.
and from GC-NJ's post it sounds like the e-ville hearing on tuesday will not affect the pps +/-. it and the next hearing sound like legal formalities until we hear something concrete in early march. of course, the e-ville project is a fraction of the berlin project.
will MA and VT to be part of the forementioned PR?
one last comment. everyone has been speculating pps values on napkins, etc. i've heard 1.00, .80, .45, .12, .08, and a debate between .01 and .02. all seem to have a degree of plausibility. however, remarkably, none of them give a date with which the speculative number will be achieved. if you're a poster who has thrown a number out, please specify a date.
thanks.
and good luck.
irrational exuberance?
you think if i put a bid in for 2 million shares @ .0015 it'll go through or will that price be eclipsed first thing Monday morning?
From:New York Times Crossing a Threshold on Energy Legislation December 5, 2007.
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/05/washington/05energy.html?ref=science
House leaders on Tuesday evening were still writing the energy legislation that will reach the House floor this week. In addition to incentives for a huge increase in production of biologically based fuels like ethanol, the package is expected to include a mandate that electric utilities produce 15 percent of their power from renewable sources by 2020. House leaders also plan to include $21 billion in new taxes on the oil industry and other interests to pay for the package.
"There are no facts, only interpretations."

just looking to dilute the kool-aid...
as a skeptic...
in your opinion, what are the negatives on this one? i ask you only because your DD has been so thorough and your posts indicate that you've been "converted" from a skeptic to a believer.
what is your assessment as of saturday?
what are these? predictions?
just curious how you guys set your threshold numbers.
some say "if it breaks .0015"
or other "if it breaks .0020"
who do you figure the next resistance is at .0065?
just wondering.
FUTURE IS BRIGHT.
i'm on a weird sleep schedule after being sick.
is everyone here really willing to live through another year of waiting through a declining price/share and fluff PRs? a call for christmas trees! are you kidding me?
perhaps we should dump for the year's out and avoid aggrivation/broken promises.
my 2 cents.
no, my .15.
i know its 1:00 AM, but...
can anyone decipher this for me regarding e-ville site.
http://www3.dps.state.ny.us/pscweb/webfileroom.nsf/Web/CCE0753ECF52F76F85257393005C1D0D/$File/361_07E0775.pdf?OpenElement
yes, MM indeed. looks like our prediction of late january- early february turnaround may have been conservative. GL.
what is "MM" abbreviation? sorry, just trying to decipher.
there's more good news with LLEG than GRGR.
its a trip zero and the CEO inspires more investor confidence.
etrade says there are:
Shares Outstanding 198.3 M
Since things are kind of dead in the water until we get real financials (still waiting for Q2....? and pps plummets), some of you might want to check out another biomass company which could figure into GRGR's future. It is called Laidlaw Energy LLEG and has been getting a lot of IHUB attention the past week or so.
johnny, you're putting a lot into "the queue." i thought you guys were supposed to be a little more libertarian up there. procedural foot dragging isn't going to stop this thing. it's a clean and sustainable biomass energy company coming to a town where there's an existing plant in place. the bald-faced NIMBY-ism and conspiracy theories are hilarious. in NH and NY. are you really here to save investors money?
smithmo, why did you change your last picture from hustler?
1)they key to the statement below is "when it happens."
another biomass GRGR submitted in april and is still waiting.
that process takes forever. i doubt it will get done in 2008, however i have faith that it will sometime in 2009.
"the best news I've seen is that the company plans to uplist next year. the price will increase 10-100x on that alone when it happens."
2)any idea if all of the volume in the past few days is dropping the o/s?
i don't get it. what are you guys claiming? i can't read moneytimesiback's message. learn to write.
do you think is 'murry' is selling off all of his shares and setting up offices in London? where do you find the info on how many shares he used to own?
I can look forward to my vacation in Ellicottville!
good thing the plant was turned down! for my family, it was between bermuda and ellicottiville, but now that the plant was denied, the choice is obvious! E'ville here we come!
"Ellicottville’s economic shift to tourism and recreation"
what a f-ing joke!
i don't know. might just be a case of constructed scarcity.
i mean, boo-hoo we only made $6.3 billion in profits. oil will be around long after we're dead.
might as well hold...
unless you have 20 million shares (lol), whats to lose by holding on for another 90 days.
i guess we'll see where we are in february.
if cyclone isn't lying, indirectly MBB just made a free press release. an intersting strategy.
why say you're going to hold an open house in october if you aren't?
Its like these guys set up these arbitrary things/dates and never follow through.
How are we still waiting for second quarter financials halfway through october and how are we still unsolicted when the NASD paperwork was turned in in april!
...not even a press release
i think i'll dump this one if we're still at SEVENTEEN cents in 2008. i'll buy savings bonds or something. there has to be some reasonable timeline for change.
anyone hear anything as to the validity of that newspaper article? someone emailed joe about the $125mil contract. haven't heard any news for awhile.
everyone check out LLEG
2 out of 3
what were the three things being voted on again? apparently one was the co-generation plant...
all the same info, of course, but there's more than one link/ website with $125 million contract story:
http://energy-utilities.dbusinessnews.com/shownews.php?newsid=133818&type_news=latest
http://www.wastebusinessjournal.com/news/wbj20070918D.htm
http://newyork.dbusinessnews.com/shownews.php?newsid=133818&type_news=past
Is there any accountability on the internet?
if you look at post #833 it shows the exact link. the article references the recent 10% dividend date change as well. that site says the article was Posted on:
Tuesday, September 18, 2007 11:09 AM.
you really trumped us with those insightful Google skills!
worth re-reading:
a blog post from last november:
http://theruralpatriot.wordpress.com/2006/11/15/laidlaw-energy-groups-recent-biomass-mailing/
WTF- my setiments exactly.
WTF is wrong with these people? You know how many times this thing has been delayed?
Just venting.
yes, but that september pr had nothing about $125 million.
why does it say the contract is the "first ever" export contract? haven't they been doing this for the past year or so? isn't this how they've been generating their profits (small, but..) to date?
here's the article i'm refering to:
http://newyork.dbusinessnews.com/shownews.php?newsid=133818&type_news=latest
yes. i hope you're right. but...
don't underestimate the power of regressive community groups.
you really think it'll happen?
which comes first, the open house or the 2nd Q financials? (hey, its already the 4th Q isn't it? this is the quarter where we're supposed to see huge results. even if we find out about them in late 2008, 2009?)
to comment on another post questioning UTCS, it should still be a profit-generator even though snyder is in London. its all on the web. isn't it?
will NIMBYism defeat renewable energy?
it will be the ultimate liberal two-faced move if the local "community groups" can successfully deny a publicly-subsidized green biomass plant (in e-ville or berlin). WTF. like ted kennedy removing a wind farm because it ruined his "view."
i smell evil in e-ville.
the open house is next month?
no word on that. i'm sure it will turn into a shareholders meeting rather than a 'look at the machine that cuts up the wood' tour.
a lot of questions to ask. however goes, give us an update.
"lytnup"
my thoughts exactly. been meaning to copy/paste these old prs in an effort to stem the flood of GRGRs crystal ball public relation statements about the distant future.
but also to maintain faith.
over the past 3 years there has been progress, yet the price has regressed.
so we wait.
yeah, and he loves wine too. I think "he" is "you" or some other invention.
I think the only biomass burning that went on during the European trip was Joe smoking weed in Amsterdam. No real news or numbers in weeks. Where are the financials? Stuck in the .17 to .20 range forever.
word.
those PRs are so frustrating. care to speculate on prices? I was just being optimistic. the product is undervalued IMO. the company however is probably worth .17.
