will NIMBYism defeat renewable energy?

it will be the ultimate liberal two-faced move if the local "community groups" can successfully deny a publicly-subsidized green biomass plant (in e-ville or berlin). WTF. like ted kennedy removing a wind farm because it ruined his "view."
