she completely sees through his crap today.....so far I like this a lot.
that was me. :) eom.
spider silk mentioned on the season premier of "The Cape" last night on NBC. :) The guy's cape is made of it. Idk about you guys, but I kinda found that interesting.
I'm sure it just means that there was no need for the second objection to be filed. In the Judge's last statement she seemed to point out plenty of reasons to reject the POR already. IMO we are still golden here.
okay...so why are these trading up so high today when they are equal to the other preferreds in terms of payout order?
Thanks.
Yeah. Guess I'll wait to convert my shares until Acly is worth more then. Hopefully soon.
do you know what the cost to do that is? and....what do they convert into? pgpm shares?
Thanks again.
Okay, so....I have a question. Does anyone here know what's going on with the dividend shares that were distributed and now are sitting quietly in shareholders' accounts? Are they working on becoming something of value? Or are they a lost cause?
Thank You.
Thanks for catching that. That's what I thought I heard as well. Glad I wasn't just hearing things. Being able to keep the EC intact even IF the junky POR gets approved would be okay with me. :)
maybe just a bad daytrader? :)
looked like maybe a stop-loss got triggered. Feel bad for whoever lost their shares at that price.
did she say she was single??? ;)
nelson is attacking the releases
still nelson
are we rich yet?
my restricted shares still have N/A as the stock symbol on Ameritrade. I am sad :(
this one will always hold a special place in my heart. I lost more here than on every other stock I've ever lost money on combined....but I'm not bitter! lol.
still have all my awesome shares in this one. =) Glad to hear they caught the bad guys here. Oh, and....when do I get my money back? lol.
rosen just mentioned about trying to allow for shareholder comments on monday. i didn't know that was in the plans.
craaaaazy people =)
i thought this was the DIMEQ guy
I'm not sure. But I like him =P
you could hear it heading that direction for several minutes. Then....we got him! I hope nobody doubts our legal representation any further! That was pretty gosh dang sweet!
this is a great battle between these two guys.
who's the lady speaking? I missed her name.
just day traders taking profits...nothing to worry about.
funniest thing I've read on here in a long time. :)
Dude! Do not forget what was said by I believe an EC rep. at the hearing. That they have "the smoking gun" obtained by a third party. (Referring to ALL 70+ million pages of stuff). You are not the least bit hopeful that this turns out to be true??? It sounds like what needs to be found has been found and will be made known in due time. No worries here from me. :)
The judge indeed wants this case to end, but IMO not at the expense of justice...she will not allow a turd into the spaghetti just to fill the plate. Know what I mean Vern? :)
what day is the balance sheet supposed to come out again??? April 14th-ish?
Good for him :) That should also help investors here understand the caliber of lawyer Cross is, and also add to his trustworthiness as far as working on our behalf.
IMO the news is only beginning to be spread. I was happy with the action in all my Lehman shares today...and I expect it to continue to run, even if not by giant daily % gains, I think the overall direction we are heading is up.
gotta feeling that day is coming. Better hurry though, to make the April Fools Day settlement deadline! :)
well, yeah...that would work :)
hey, I've been known to chase a stock or two in my day. Placing orders above the ask didn't work because the ask was rising VERY quickly...I'm loaded up here though, so that's not a concern of mine now. :)
thanks, but I can not open the link. My reader program keeps saying "internal error". Can it be copied and pasted?
can u or anyone post what was said in the letter? I can't open documents on my computer today for some reason. Thanks
Geez...I was gonna come on here and ask if I was the only one excited about this news?!? I see lots of people know this plan won't get accepted, and I see a few doubters, although I wonder if they are really doubting or if they are being paid to just post words of doubt.
If JD, Weil, Rosen, and whoever else really want to engage in a metaphorical d*ck measuring contest with our Equity Committee, they'll find out the EC is hung like a horse (at least that's what I heard) :)
I'm so glad there wasn't another delay on this...now the real negotiating can keep moving along.
I thought I saw earlier where the EC made a deal to get a nerdy teenager a date with a cheerleader in exchange for leaving a flaming bag of dog poo on Dimon's front porch? Or maybe I read that wrong. lol.
someone forgot to say opinion only on that post! And, In MY opinion...that deal would NEVER happen. This is NOT a happy, friendly, we're all best buds kind of settlement. This is a treat the shareholders fairly or we fry your ass in criminal court kind of settlement. Anything less than dollars for commons and close to full for preferreds should not and IMO, will not be accepted.
makes me wonder what's really going on. There is NO way IMO that anyone can think that the current settlement proposal has a chance in hell of being accepted---yet it is still being pushed forward as far as we know. There is NO way that JPM or the FDIC will end up with Washington Mutual's tax refunds, and they have to know that--they are evil, not stupid. Why are they putting on this show? Honestly, I can only think of a positive outcome for us shareholders, but that's just me.
