... was it "Cool Beans, Inc."? :) ;)!
Understand the people who bought CB closed a few months later. I heard something about having agreed to pay a LOT more than the business was worth. ???
My paddle is nicked but not broken. Sorry that so many others completely lost theirs.
Bought the Ranger when gas was about $.50. Recently sold it. Not much fun to pay $4 a gal for a rig that only gits 3 miles at that cost! Oh well...if HISS had been serious business I probably would have kept it.
On the other hand, I've really gotten to old to get beat up running 60 mph all day on a ruff lake. It was fun while I lasted tho, and I still have a litte rig that suits us pretty well. (Wife/buddy can fish too, pretty well in fact.)
Still, wish HISS had not been such a disappointment for all of us. But I'M not confused about who caused it to fail!
Ward, you're unbeliveable! You say:
"If however, there was a legitimate company that couldn't get off the ground after finally getting through the product development phase, and you a trying to put the final nail in the company's coffin out of a need for revenge, thus ensuring that my loss is certain, you can also be certain that I will make my recovery from you, one way or another."
For how long have Wicks/Reillys put out PRs saying not only did they have a GREAT, fully functional product, with piles of happy testamonials to that "fact", as well as a list of companies and areas (ATT, Europe, Mid-East, etc) who approved the CT for use on their systems? NOW, how can you say they are "finally getting through the product development phase" and finally have a viable device! Wow!
Did you not read the Web Site and PRs when our boy genius, Ian, told us how pleased/excited he/they were the CT had performed above expectations, etc., a couple of years ago?
(Are you aware that the owner of the Atlanta trucking company - was it McCarry? - is an in-law of Brian's? That testamony may be tainted just a little. And it is worthy of note that they quite buying CTs before they had them in all of the company trucks. Does that mean anything to you?)
Now, after a thin string of others who, like myself, posted warnings long before Mechanic's Lein and Corn and WLOS added more, you threaten to hold a NEW poster to this board as being responsibile for your gulliblity and subsiquent loss? Do you remember all the posts you - and others - made expressing some pride in being a "long" and castigating anyone who dared question what was happening before our eyes?
Sorry dude, but you ain't got a legal leg to stand on at this point. Like the call girls customer, you paid for your own screwing, no one here bought it for you. The price was high but you went in with lots of "DD" and eyes wide shut! The paint job was pretty even though the gal was really ugly and had open sores in the wrong places. It was your own choice to ignore a small but steady stream of IHub cautions you firmly ignored from as far back as three years ago.
You may wish to delete this post as well as the others who don't share your taste for Kool-Aid.
"I also don't get is the coincidence of two new posters showing up and pretty much doing a tag team of posting many very negative things about HISS, maybe true, maybe lies"
Translation: Keep it to yourself, I don't want no "new" guys to come here and tell us things we don't want to hear!
"...just within the few weeks before Alex (and Tadd indirectly) get the local news station to interview them about a wage dispute. How many times do wage disputes make the news, even if they end up before the state labor board?... These guys seem determined not just to recover their wages but also to destroy any remote chance the company might have to survive."
Translation: I think it's all a conspiricy against our honest, hard working board who ARE trying to help their stockholders. We know that's true 'cause they told us so.
Let's see; 1 share /400 = X. X/10K = Y, Y x no. of original shares I bought = Z. Z x $.0001 = not much. Yeah, they will help US and save the company when pigs fly!
"Brian and Ian are total scumbags." Corn! Don't say that, it gets this board wrapped into a defensive ring aganinst which no logic and evidence can penetrate!
Say, "Moody's fault, Moody's fault!" and be applauded!
"..any thoughts???" Few maybe.
Again, I'm not saying HISS started as a scam and mistakes don't really constitute scamming, at least as I see it.
But, at some point, it became clear even to the BOD and BA that HISS was a turkey with wings to small to fly very far. I see a possiblity that BA felt they needed to dump shares immediatly after the CEO swap and theirs was likely the source of the initial dumping. If so, and I do think it is, THEN the current BOD saw the potential for selling their own shares. If so, and again, I think so, they all began to see selling stock as a potentially greater source of short term personal income than Cyber Trackers! Nothing else I can visualize covers the full spectrum of events at that time and since.
Some thoughts on what "products" HISS had or didn't have. Allegations in the court records not withstanding, they did have the Kiosk machine and it did get used in the Port of Savannah (I think) and the port people did give the system a good report that was used in later promotion.
Initially, the CT WAS submitted for patent. That process WAS in motion when Wicks took over the company and THEN they dropped the application. Why? My gut reaction is that Papa Reilly and Wicks both no longer believed the device was worth much on the market. The sale of their own stock, and then new stock became paramont in their eyes. They simply chose to grasp the easy pickings as quickly as possible before the roof caved in. Offering tens of millions of stocks at micro penny levels still made THEM a lot of money. It worked. Keeping it going was profitable so they had to nurse it along in any way possible - at minimum cost and effort - for as long as possible. Including the services of BA.
The well known facts are on my side. I don't think it started as a scam, it just grew like Topsy. Unfortunately, I doubt any legal action will be effective because I doubt it was a conspiricy from the beginning. I believe HISS had a sincere start. It failed and then slid into being a sincere delaying action for funneling wealth to the big three.
Again, nothing else I can see answers ALL the questons of what has transpired, including Skier's honest impressons when he met them at the tiny headquarters they've used for the last couple of years. I've seen the place, the outside anyway, and it ain't much considering the amounts of money they've had access to. In fact, it looks like a sham store front for a scam operation to me.
Now, paint with any brush you choose but beliefs don't constitute proof.
Okay, neither do mine, but human nature and the well known company record supports my suspections.
AND, your list of culprits is misleading. Fred and Frank only served a short time on the BOD together if I remember right. Or, maybe, not at all? Meaning the balance of power was the still same, pre and post Wicks.
You paint with a broad bush. While I wouldn't say any of the four are without fault it should be obvious, it is to me anyway, where the real source of Hiss' problems lie. By saying they are ALL to blame only gives cover to those who really are.
But, say what ever gives you comfort after the loss of the investors money, doesn't change who has enginnered the whole thing, with his son's certain vote on the BOD. Fact is, NO ONE could have made a go of HISS with that team holding the balance of voting power, pre or post Wicks, could they?
At last, someone with insight to this BOD!
Before Wicks was "conned"(??)to buy stock and hired in at $7,500 a month as a sales expert, which he obviously was not, the Rilleys out numbered Moody, two to one on the BOD. If anyone thinks Ian was or is anything but an echo for his daddy, they are mistaken. Those two were and remain the power behind the curtains.
Wicks came in the pocket of the Riellys (proof: they would never have agreed to put him on the BOD if he were not).
After Wicks came on board, it was three to one against Moody. So, IF he had been the one deliberately doing "wrong" it would seem the other three business wizards whould have reconnised it and stopped it. Yeah, IF they were competent and IF they actually wanted to sell product instead of stock. But, it really hasn't happen quite that way, has it?
Nor has anything visible been changed about company operations since Wicks came in, for what ever reasons, except the flood of stock sales. And the BOD power has remained in the Riellys hands, father/son, two to one. Does that mean anything to ANYONE but the two of us?
No matter who had been more "at fault" at the time of the CEO change, Wicks has been CEO since the price crashed from a few pennys to mini-penny levels, and now two massive reverse splits. Wicks must be a social liberal. Like Clinton, he presists in crying it wasn't his fault and pointing fingers at his predecessor!
I see the Reillys as the common thread through it all, from day one. They still live quite well while others, perhaps even including Wicks, still do not. What more will it take to open the eyes of the kool-aid drinkers?
Don't know myself but I would have celibrated with you and GLADLY admitted it if I had been wrong. I realized it was a pure con when I learned they had dropped the patent application. No LEGITIMATE business would do that with it's flagship product, would they?
Wish I had been wrong, but it turns out my impressions were even closer to fact than I had expected, it just took a bit longer. And I NEVER anticipated they could sell their delusion business to anyone else. That's been a real surprise! There is no joy in saying, "I told you so."
I have checked back here from time to time to see what was happening and how the board was reacting to it. Mostly I saw anger and frustration but no more reality insight than before.
It IS understandable that people who were sucked in far deeper than I would be desperate to retain some glimmer of hope for recovery, but even that should eventually fade into reality. As my old pastor used to say, "There is little real education in the second kick of a mule." How many kicks has it taken for this board to get the message?
But, tell me again how all of HISS' problems are because of sneaky, mean ol' Moody and that Wicks/Reilies will fix things up nicely. And maybe how any of us who waved red flags and shouted warnings were just evil bashers or even Moody himself.
Skier, no successful con men can fail to be conviencing to the marks. You were conned, period. Now, after all these months of false hopes and misleading, distracting PRs, you should recognise it.
"I am down a lot of money like everyone else here but I do not think anyone ever purposely deceived me at all."
Sorry, wish it had not been this way but here it is. Lots of your money and a little of mine, has gone into their new homes, cars, boats, vacations, nice clothes, etc, without any serious effort or even knowledge of how to sell the product.
Sure, I believe they HOPED to sell some CTs, even a lot of them because it would have meant even more money to them. But I just don't think they actually worked very hard to accomplish it! They were making too much money simply selling stock to worry about having to sell CTs to. Now it seems they also conned a new owner into buying this empty sack and keeping them on his payroll too!
Think I warned this board about the coming reduction in share value, the vast increase in the stock float and the coming 10k:1 split about a year ago. I was laffed off stage as a basher over it. As I said then, we will see who's right.
Now we see. Wish it were not so but .... it is what it is.
That's a laff. I'm doing fine, don't know about Frank, haven't seen him in a few days. How are the Riellies and Wicks? Besides grinning from ear to ear I mean..
Some one told me about the "buy out", just dropped in to see. Enjoy your Kool-Aid, it's all you have left! Sorry 'bout that, but facts is facts.
Of course if Ralston can just sell maybe $10 billion worth of CTs and Ian installs them, your stock might be worth a penny apiece and yawl could still take that cruise to Tahiti in your own boats. ;)
Nope. It's Not an honest buy out, can't be. Who would pay that kind of money to buy the company and keep the failed management as foxes in the hen house?
All HISS has to sell is an non-patent protected gadget, not worth that kind of money at all, even with payment in "stock". The shareholders are screwed - again - but it sounds like the BOD did okay - again.
Not since April or June of last year.
Skier, you post the old company, "HISS didn't have the money after Moody left. Frank Moody blew mucho dinero on lavish "business expenses" that he conveniently could not present any receipts for. Where in the heck are you coming from man??"
Don't know much about that. But, do you? Where am I coming from? Well, the only info I know of on the receipts alligation is from that BOD. Those are the same guys who said BA had no legitimate claim on Evans and they would fight it, right? And who said the CT had a patent pending, right? And said the CT had passed ATT approval, right? And said no RS, right? And repeatedly said they were in the final stages of contracts with tug boats, RVs, auto makers, etc., right? And said, ... aw, jell it just ain't worth it.
OKAY, OKAY! - YEAH, SKI, YOU'RE RIGHT, YOUR HARD WORKING DIRECTORS ARE THE BLESSED GOOD GUYS IN SNOW WHITE HATS! EVERYONE ELSE CONNED THEM and THEY WERE HELPLESS IN THE PATH OF THE BAD GUYS SO NOTHING THAT'S GONE WRONG IN THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF HAS BEEN THEIR FAULT!
THE $100K A YEAR ON THE REILLY'S PHONE/COMPUTER STORES SURELY HAS A VALID EXPLAINATION, ETC., SO WHY ASK ABOUT THINGS AS TRIVIAL AS THAT?
GO HISC, TO THE MOOON! GO GOLBAL TECH TOO!
Sheesh.
You got me! OH, the pain of it! (Not, LOL.)
ALL my of my expectations, such as they are, are now in Watchit, the RS wiped out my last tiny holdings of HISC. But, enjoy your new found "value"! So, what is the bump based on? I suspect the MMs, not any real improvement, so it won't last long. What percentage of your investment does that new wealth represent and how many multipules will it have to repeat for you to break even?
I just spent a few minutes on the HISC board before coming here. Saw new guys Razor and Aufan getting gang-tackled, as they put it, for not being in the cheer-leading team for Wicks/Reilly and company like most of the others. Amusing scene, that board is.
Interesting how anyone can come along and immediately join in the HISC happy/clappy parade but those who might suggest the kings have no clothes are bashed, no matter the track record and evidence. That's why I left that board months ago but MY predictions came true, and worse, while theirs has not. Aw well, I really don't care, I'm out of that mess.
Enjoy your Kool-Aid. While it lasts. ;)
Skier - "I can handle disagreement....but you are way off base on this diatribe you have generated."
My "info" is spotty and incomplete, from their PRs mostly. So perhaps mine is a lot less complete than yours especially since you have good personal contacts with the BOD and have looked them straight in their trustworth eyes. Okay, so you trust them and read everything as supportive of them and are left no choice but to blame all the bad to the only one missing since July or so of last year.
I don't trust them for a minute. The PRs, etc, have too many bad statements, too many failed promises and too many disappointments for that. Appearantly you have a much lower curosity factor than I. ???
They have a very high monthly cost of operations for such a small operation. Perhaps the next time you see those good ol' boys you could ask how much they are paying themselves while they run this tiny company into the ground? I never see anything about salaries or number of employees in their financial reports and I really would like to know about that. Wouldn't you?
Enjoy your week end and today's magnificant bounce. I doubt it will last long, so enjoy it while you can! :)
Why? And for what charge? ("Bobby - If anyone needs a lawsuit brought aganist him - it's Moody.")
HISC is and always has been a tiny company, half dozen or so employees. What the H3LL is costing so much to run each month?
When Moody left the PPS was about .05. In the 16-17 months since the BOD ousted him they took it to .0001, a 500:1 drop, then a 400:1 RS and it is still dropping. What did Moody do to force them to be so inept and destroy the company?
Moody was primarliy a salesman, a promoter. He got publicity for the CT on both local and nation TV, there has been none of that since he left, to my knowledge anyway. Might we suspect that has reduced the opportunities to sell the product?
Moody "put out" fluffy PRs. So what does a competent CEO do, publish that the company's single product doesn't work very well? And, within the limits of their combined imaganations, what's different about the fluff they put out now? And, did Moody recently arrange to fire the only professional salesman they had ever hired?
I must assume the CT doesn't work very well since they hired and then fired a Texas software firm to do something our teenage CTO couldn't do, presumably to make the CT work right! Then, it appears, HISC stiffed them for payment and got sued. Why didn't they pay that bill, did't they have the money after getting their own salaries OR did the software fix not actually work? Or both. Either way, why shoot the only guy who was gone and had nothing to do with it while absolving those who were directly responsible?
Actually, I keep wondering why and how so many people refuse to ask the origial BOD minus one any serious questions about what has gone wrong over the last year. Like, what happened to the proposed contracts they said HISC was "finalising" with the RCMP, the ocean going tug boat company, various school systems, an auto company, trucking companies, etc.? Where are we on obtaining approval for ATT and a patent?
Does the CT really not live up to expectations or do we just sue Moody because the present management is helplessly incompetent to promote and sell it?
The lock-step march of the determined, faithful and blind Kool-Aid drinkers is astonishing.
Do it, that'll fix 'em! "We need to start mailing the BOD the holes they are reporting."
"Either Moody HAS to bail out and he does, or that is a take over, sorry, both ways it's a take over."
Huh?
What a day, tired. Ref. Moody: I could only get the one link opened, don't know what the other showed but figgered it would be pretty much the same.
Your comment "..shady characters must be very prevalent in today's society as I see people coasting through stop signs..." was sorta my point. I mean, it appearded the Ihub glee of proof of Moody's foul character was found in that ticket. But, I'm the nicest, most trustworthy guy I know - good looking too - but I tend to roll through the stops quite often myself! ;) Thus, it does not follow that a traffic ticket "proves" anyone's character, one way or the other.
If the "DWI" allegation had been correct, the same search that found the stop sign/red light ticket should have found a DWI too. Since it did not, I assumed it to be an invalid hope on your team's part.
Now, ref. the wondering on the other board about today's volume; I hate "I told you sos" so I'll say it BEFORE the crash; that turkey is crashing and has been ever since that BOD took over! I think they actually thought they could make it work until about April or so, maybe a year after they really grabbed the reigns I suspect. Then they hoped until about June and then knew it was near closing time so they just decided to milk it to the end before running. All those are deductions from the know facts, as they appeared amd changed.
Now the end is close at hand. Skier should go look them straight in those "honest" baby blues one more time before they exit in a rush, stage left! I'd bet that as soon as they can milk the last few drops outta the authorised 10B they will tack a sign on the door saying something like "Closed, Gone to Costa Rica, Good Bye Suckers"!
IMHO of course.
Wow, that was FAST! BUT the relivant line seems to be:
"This one only shows one (ONE!) offense code to be heard on 11/14/07 on courtroom one. Offense code 4454, FAIL STOP STOPSIGN/FLSH RED LT"
I have no idea what the "ADA/DWI" line really means. Do you? Maybe, "Americans w/Disabilities Act - Dim-Witted Included"? ;)
Without more info, and since the specifics of the ONE offense ticket ONLY mentions the ONE failure to stop, making that into a "Driving While Intoxicated" charge might be over reaching. But, we all know only very shady people ever fail to come to a complete stop at any stop sign, so you are probably right but still...maybe you have a too hopeful over reach on the intoxicated thing?
Perhaps we are at a stalemate on this without more info on the meaning of the ADA/DWI line. Is that fair?
Maybe today will see the other guys announce a sale of 5K CTs and the stock will zoom to .0004! But, I've got to get rolling in the real world now.
Was a DWI mentioned? I don't remember that as part of the posted traffic citation at all. I think that was a dab of extraneous mud that someone slung at it for the slime effect. If I'm right, I guess it worked to some degree.
I'm too lazy to go back and search it out because that's what I recall and I don't care to pull a gotcha anyway. But, if you want to look it up then give me a post number that shows it as a certainty and not character assignation, well, if I'm wrong, I'll repent. But not yet.
No, I haven't asked that question. But on the other hand have you ever asked yourself how many shares the old company officers acquired? It was, I think, several hundred million each, that's why they were holding controlling interest at the shareholders meeting and the rest of us didn't even need to vote to keep them in office. Nor to schedule the second shareholder's meeting for Oct last year, in NYC they said.
Now that they have sold so much company stock - personal too I assume - they no longer have controlling interest and dare not allow the rest of us to meet and vote on anything, including a reverse split!
So far as has been released, WTCT hasn't yet produced any income for anyone so I assume the officers are working out of pocket for now. If so, it follows that each may well have been assigned a significant amount of stock in lue of pay in hopes of recovering something later. That is common with start-ups, including the old company, and I have no personal objections to it in either case.
Interesting list.
I don't know how much BA was being paid but, IIRC, Moody left about two months before the board dropped BA. Why not sooner if they wanted to cut costs?
I have no idea about Bennet or what he did but I think the ActSoft deal collapsed soon after Moody left.
On the other hand, what I do know, for sure, is the present BOD kept listing the CT as "Pat Pend" long after they had dropped the patent appeal.
I think the board got control of Evans around last October, months after Moody left HISC. It appears management challanged BA over legal ownership but dropped that fight the moment they got to the first court hearing. Wonder why, might they have been lying all along and it was evident at that first hearing?
It seemed they delayed that dividend AND did some kind of black magic with the shares before passing it on to BA. That seems to be what the current suit from Moody is about. If so, who's fault was that, who had total control of Evans from October until after something like late March or April?
The current BOD recently "hired", then "fired" (I guess) a super salesman but kept his name on the company list of employees for at least two months. Was that Bennet?
The current mangagement subsidized the Reilly's two phone stores for almost a year after Moody left before they closed those money draining retail stores. Wonder why? And who got the money after the stores were sold out?
They claim to be making CT wiring harnesses here (Asheville?) cheaper than it can be done in China. Does anyone believe that?
They claim that past customers give rave reviews on the CT but it seems only the Atlanta trucking company has made a follow-up purchase of a few hundred units. Perhaps the other customers really weren't so satisfied after all?
The current management PRed that the CT had been "approved" for use by ATT and spoke glowingly of the new opportunites for sales that meant. Some weeks later our young CTO posted that no, the CT really isn't approved but they are working VERY hard to get it approved. Someday, there'll be pie in the sky.
How many - or perhaps, how few - people are actually on the company payroll, and what's the salary of each one? And are they being paid in money or tons of micropenny stock? This is the same group that were telling us a year ago that BA?Moody were dumping masses of stock to hurt the company. But, I invite you to take a look at the volume for the months of June-July-August and then note what happens to it later; so who hurt us by flooding stock on the market?
And who has the latest info on the next "annual" shareholders meeting? It's been two years since the last, you know?
I'm sure none of this counts though, you all know who the crook is that has driven this company to its knees anyway, so who cares about my drivel and a few stray CURRENT facts?
Go WTCT, to the moon!
Ward, I think you should read my post again. Said I am too lazy to search for proof of something I already know. And it would be a waste of time for me to try to convience you and the other group-think crowd anyway, by asking hard questions I have been branded a "basher" and all of you know bashers aren't to be trusted. Yawl seem to prefer the mindset of Sandan instead. ;)
What I DID do was challange any of you to do the research as someone once did and proved Moody is a devious "crook" because a "failure to come to a complete stop" traffic ticket is sufficent proof - it seems. But, no one has done it so far or, if so, they are keeping it quite. That means the search energy was expended but has absolutely nothing to do with the current situation with that company and the present BOD gets another complete pass over.
Got to take a shower and get dressed now. Yawl have a good Lord's Day!
If I'm the "pump" I guess that makes you the dump? :) Have a nice week end!
Clare, U may be right! I'm largely ignorant of stock matters and admit it freely. I don't know what the organizational shake-up and name change is expected to accomplish but I'm not giving credibility to fearful, wild accusations with no evidence. And I have little sympathy for those who originally sneered at their Evans stock and now loudly whine they will go to court to get something from what they previously called "worthless" and offered to give it away to anyone who wanted it. I recently asked for it but got no takers!
What I was addressing in that post, mostly, is that HISC is lost, but WTCT is not. And it appears that Moody/BOD are actually accomplishing some marketable deals that should eventually show a profit for the company.
Profit is what is killing his old company, long under its "new management" plan to only sell stock it seems. And, so far, that old company issues and sales more micro-mini penny stock in A DAY than the total WTCT has authorised!
So, I'm cautiously hopeful about WTCT.
OK Ward, let me re-phrase my observation on SOME "hopes" for WTCT failure.
It has become obvious that personal animosity to FM is so strong that many would be so happy to see Evans?Watchit fail, even if it costs them more money, just to see it happen and justify their projections of doom. I believe SUCH HATRED IS IRRATIONAL!
Am I wrong? Well, how many posts do we have we read of "Watchsh@t", "Anyone can have my lousy (Evans) shares", etc., to see the minset of those people? The few scattered posts where I've suggested WTCT may succeed have been responded to with total contempt!
I don't lead with my hopes. I would NEVER invest in a stock because of a warm, fuzzy "luv" for the officers (regardless of their qualifications and past record?) nor would I avoid a stock with potential for profit because I might not like the officers personally. All I care about in the market is performance. So far, it looks like Moody is a performer. His "replacements" in the old company are not.
At least Koot sees the light. He doesn't hate the one man who gave HISC a good start, nor does he laud (or condemn)those who actually killed and are now cooking our goose over there. Perhaps Koot is the wisest and brightest of us all. He's the most mature, for sure!
Go WTCT, to the moon! (I loved that line!) ;)
I concur. May be some tuff times ahead but no tuffer than we've gone though the past year.
Puzzle; it seems some of the HISC boasters are actually hopeful that Watchit will collapse too! I don't want to see that, WTCT is our ONLY hope to recover and we got it cheap enough. Seems the need for spite runs deep in some folks, even if it costs them real money!
I've bought a little more. Wish I could afford more but most of my very limited "investment" money was flushed with HISC.
Who is the WTCT IR/PR firm? Good question, I've looked at the few items I can find quickly and see no clear answer. There is no clear evidence Watchit has a new firm so maybe it is still BA. ???
Anyway, it seems that BA no longer has any ownership interest in Watchit and that's the major point, at least to me. As a matter personal preference, I do wish they would get completely away from BA. I don't really know if BA is a bad company but the vibs are sure bad so we would be better off with a clean break. IMHO.
What is the proper function of an IR company anyway? I mean how does a hired company for "Investor Relations" relate to investors about anything? After a couple of years of this, most of this stuff remains a mystery to me~!
Koot, I don't think BA is any part of WTCT now, in spite of the BA info in blue at the top of this page. BA turned over Evans/WTCT to Moody and is no long involved with us, according to the PRs and court filings anyway. BA actually sold this to Moody (us!) - I think - and that may well be what the $200,000 debt this company held was about. From what I read, the animosity between HISC board members and Moody is far too great for any further association. But, who knows?
When Evans was just a shell its actual value was only as a potential for someone to put a viable business in it and making it work; that's not a lot of value but some. Now, that's what the electronic message boards with contracts with Child Watch and the British sports pubs is all about - including the name change to "WatchIt" I guess. I don't think Moody/New BOD has released any additional stock either, not that I can find anyway. (Anyone else have different info?)
This company may not fly either but the evidence shows that Moody is actually working on it, contrary to what we see with the old company and its management. Wow, what a disapointment that has become!
I sure would like to see them hold another "annual" shareholder's meeting, if they dared to do so since they no longer hold a majority of the company stock themselves.
Jimmy, THAT IS a relivant question for WCTC shareholders. No, I had not read that but now that I have I still don't know what it means. ???
Wonder if the WCTC stock float has been increased.
I will do that, next time I see him. ???
Meanwhile, keep the Kool-Aid pitcher coming, 'cause the blinders are working good.
Ah, well....there are none so blind as those who will not see.
Why are so few questions ever asked of the company as it has existed for well over a year now?
I have consistanly agreed that FM made "mistakes" but, at this point he is largely irrelivant, as is BA, but all serious criticism continues to be directed at them. And, do you seriously believe Moody posted inflated numbers without the full knowledge AMD concurrance of the rest of the board?
The current BOD IS very relivant but there is precious little attention ever given them. Why not? Why do the sheep holders palcidly trot along in line and in step, trying to prove wrong doing from those long gone and continue to claim confidence without serious questions for possible "mistakes" of the current board, who were, after all, the old board too?
IF Moody over stated the PRs, etc, it did get the stock up and selling a little of it could bring in money to support the company's work. Yes, the pps was down to 1/3 of its peak when he left but the stock float was a small fraction of today's so, if handled properly, the company should have been able to cut costs, push sales and deliver CTs. They did begin to sell masses of stock almost immediately after Moody left but were did all that money go? Now the pps is down another 250 to 500 times, more or less, its value when they took over. Why is it that I am the ONLY one questioning any of that?
Why are shareholders having to make amature efforts to promote and sell the (non-patent pending) CT? Why did the recently hired super-salesman depart so quickly? Why are share holder questions and suggestions largely ignored? Why are phone calls and emails to the home office frequently unanswered or ignored? How many people are on salary, in some form? Why is it so hard to get the non-professonal spelling and grammar corrected on the company's home site, it looks like something beng operated outta someone's garage!
If our young CTO is technically competant, why does it seem to take so long for bugs to be worked out of the CT system? What happened to the potential sales to Volvo, Canada's Mounties, Tug Boats Inc, taxis, RVs, soccer moms, sheriff's offices, trucking companies but one, school systems but one, state highway departments, on and on. And all the posts just keep having gut feelings that something BIG is in the works while nothing happens. But the only people receving any critical examination are the ones long gone and have had NO INPUT for a year or more. That's insane to me!
What was the relivance to the company of owning two phone stores and a coffee shop? And, what happened to the money when those stores were sold off, who got it? Was there anything fradulent in any of THAT? It smells to high heaven to me, but maybe you don't care, for sure no one but me questions it.
You, the gentle on-line pumpers, really seem to be missing the point consistantly. Ask some relivant questions of the right people for pete's sake! THIS board has frittered away our investments, why not check THEM out for answers, not continue to spin your wheels checking or condemning those who are irrelivant at this point!
Ski and Gob can search what they want to but, so far it's irrelivant! "Proving" the WTCT CEO was ticketed for falure to come to a complete stop at a stop sign AND contributed to Bush, WOW! But, I don't care if he's ticketed for going 38 in a 35 mph speed zone and contributed to Ross Perot, it means nothing so it's irrelivant.
The company YOU are concerned about IS relivant tho. Do a back ground check on the CURRENT BOD to better understand what's happened to our investment there! Like Ski,I know parts of what THAT record is and you won't be happy about it.
If any of you don't want your WTCT stock, may I have it? Before the RS?
GOOD JOB, Great work! A Bush supporter as well a a failure to come to a full stop at a stop sign huh? NOW we really know what kind of perverted crook he really is! ??? (NOT)
NOW, will you also do a search on Brian Reilly? Bet you get some "returns" on that which will be informative too. Maybe he's been a choir boy or even the Buncombe County Dem. Party Treasurer ... I heard they've been losing money too!
I find it passing odd that those who pray for HISC to post some good news news will at the same time sneer when WTCT does exactly that. Some people are just weird!
Hey Who, we'll do it! You promise to wake us up when HISC becomes a REAL PENNY stock? It will only have to increase its present value 50 times and volia, it's there! ;)
Roger that, on HISC. With the operating income insufficent to pay the present bills I suspect they have been "paying" themselves with piles of that new stock they release so often. I don't really know a lot of what Moody did as CEO but I KNOW he didn't lead the company anywhere near this far down, with no end in sight. Well, actually, there is an end in sight, it's already dead on its feet and just waiting to fall over now.
My hope, even my expectation at this point, is that WCTC will become sufficently profitable to recover some of what we have lost there.
When they - Reilies and Moody - started HISS the word got around the local area pretty fast. The product and business plan seemed sound. Quite a few bought in, including me. Only later did some of us check out the "personals" of the founders and found some things we didn't like and that's why I sold most of mine when I did, even at a great loss. Kept some just in case I was wrong! But, what I feared has really shown up, their history repeats itself.
I learned HISC (US!)was supporting the phone stores and Cool Beans the same as you, from their own PRs and posts.
For whatever faults he may have, Moody is a trained, SUCCESSFUL, salesman. I know he made some mistakes, running a publicly held company was a new thing for him but it appears he knew more about it than the current officers.
Moody was MUCH MORE professional in his public presentations! I remember seeing several "news hour" publicity spots on national and local TV touting the CT but there has been none of that such since he left. Do you suppose that lack of publicity may account for at least a part of the need to dump massive piles of new mini-penny stock to pay the office rent? If they've even done that.
That's not an idle thought. I got a tip last week from an old friend with contacts in the Skyland Fire/Rescue Dept., where Ian is a member, that the HISC office lease is shaky.
Ward, I know ONE answer. But, I'm technical not financial so I can't very well decipher much of most finacial reports.
You say: "Investment in Cool Beans $84,565 What the heck is that? Also, in the Equity section they were showing Equity from Tampa Bay Port A/R of $100,991. Again, what????? The really interesting thing about this is the unaudited financials posted on Pinksheets.com differ significantly from the audited financials that were in the SB-2."
Ref. COOL BEANS; That was the coffee shop owned by the Riellies in a little strip mall on Air Port Road in south Asheville, Skyland actually. They closed it back in the spring of this year, IIRC, both the coffee shop AND their two computer/phone stores (the second one in Hendersonville, not far from where I live)had been struggling to survive for years. Brian was trying to sell the coffee shop at least as far back as early '05. (Those were three of Brian's "non-profit" businesses that qualified him to sit on the board of HISC it seems. If Skier was as dilligent at court house research on Brian's business lawsuit records as he was at finding Moody's traffic ticket I suspect it would explain a lot of why HISC can't seem to take in enough money to fund operations without more stock dumping each month. Personally, I am too lazy to do it, largely because I already know the truth.)
My guess is, HISC was probably subsidising the coffee shop as well as the computer/phone stores, that has to be the meaning of one PR saying they had, by a stroke of management genius it seemed, "closed" the stores and improved the bottom line by something like $100K a year. ?? That is the only plausable explaination of why they saved some $9K a month by closing those stores. I once raised that question on Ihub and got ignored AND blasted a bit for having less than a positive outlook.
Actually, and unfortunately, I do have a positive outlook. I'm absolutely certain HISC has no chance of surviving because of the poor management from those who sat on the BOD from day one. And I don't like it.
I sold most of my stock after we got our dividend simply because of my knowledge of who was going to be running the company, unrestrained. I took a bath doing selling so I understand that those who invested tons of money can't bring themselves to admit it's gone. I understand the current plan of some stock owners to promote and sell the CT themselves, and hope it works but,in all honesty, I don't think they can generate more money than our management can "spend" without any improvement to the bottom line. And I doubt the stockholders will get enough cooperation from the company to make it work anyway. H3ll, if we can't call them, potential customers can't call them either!
Moody/BA have been gone for 15 months. The BOD has made great strides, they say. But, the OS has errupted like a volcano. They cut huge costs from overhead (no more supporting Brian's personally owned coffee and phone shops). We now assemble wiring harnesses here instead of China to save money. We released the chief salesman - but neglicted to post that significant change on the company site for months. Amd we still have the kid CTO who speaks/writes with bad grammer and only stumbles into telling the truth occasionally (the CT is NOT approved by ATT), etc. WTF? My spilling, typning an grammar ain't good neither but I'm not a highly paid "corporate executive" on a web site addressing the public in the name of my company!
Financially, I hardly know the difference between a SB-2 and a W2 but I can see and remember specific data points pretty well. What I see doesn't match what we are told. And FM/BA have nothing to do with it in spite of what has been repeatedly posted. This BOD has killed the Golden Goose!
