Owner of the property. I spoke with him about three weeks ago and he is a very nice man that is as ancy as all of us to get the store open.

He didn't mention it and i forgot to ask, but i thought redrain had said he saw a TXU truck in the back a couple of weeks ago.
Hind sight 20/20.I thought of that question right after i hung up with him.However call him yourself he's real nice and talkative.I think his #s in redrains post from Saturday.
When Tan Li called me back on Sunday mourning,2nd call,he asked again who i was,i think he was going through his caller id and forgot we had talked earlier.I again told him i was a stockholder in MNTY and he remembered talking the day before.
He then asked if i knew Jason personally. I told him no and he went on about what a great hard working guy he was and that he was also working on the Lakeland property with him.I asked him if that property would take as long as this one and he assured me that the Lakeland property was only about a two week build out.He also said there were no electrical issues at that store and that his contractors were waiting on the architech plans to get started as soon as the finished the Mesquite store.He went on to say he had been talking with Jason about other properties he had for lease and kind of acted like if i had any influence and wanted to see them he would be glad to show them to me.lol
On the transformer issue:
It is not an issue of not having electricity at the time, they do. The issue is they are sharing a transformer with the grocery next door that would not be large enough once they move in,hence the need and the delay.not a priority since they have it and not a hurry since they didn't need it till now.
On another note:
I, like alot of us read these post thinking everyone else is doing the DD.After getting mad enough and picking up the phone i realized a majority here don't do any DD other than read Ihub.i mean come on, 400 board marks,and i'm the only one to call Tan Le. As far as i can tell the only ones that have real DD are Phil,XI,redrain, and now me.My point is if you want to bitch don't until youv'e done some of your own digging and commend the ones that have, myself excluded.
Heres some news:
I called Tan Li, owner of the property, last night not expecting much but lo & behold he called me back about 8:30 last night.He asked who i was thinking i was interested in leasing property in Dallas.I told him i was a stockholder in MNTY and he admediatly apologized for delays.He said the delays were caused by the electricity going into the building did not have enough voltage for the MNTY store and the grocery next to it and that they were waiting on a new transformer for our store before he could finish build out. He said the red tape was a nightmare & that it had been on order for 2 to 3 weeks and was expecting it this week.He also said the city made them take down the market 99 coming soon sign because of city ordinance.The for lease signs redrain saw are for the remaining property not leased by us.
I have more but am late for a party.will post more tomorrow.Tan Li called me again this mourning and we had i nice conversation about Jason & future developments.
I'm mad!
