More like taking a derailed train and trying to put it back on track LOL. I guess its better than scrapping it. Lots of "ifs" in this NR. Looks like October before the new boys are in, if they raise the money. Till then, we still have to endure another miserable 20F (who here really believes we had knockout sales in 09?) and more of nothing (so much for the promised "better communications LOL).
Some poor soul thinking this still has a snowball's chance in hell to return to $1?

Press Release Source: Meridian Co., Ltd. On Friday January 15, 2010, 12:04 pm
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 01/15/10) - Meridian Co., Ltd. (OTC.BB:MRDAF - News) is very pleased to announce the return of Ms. Anna Brazier as Director of Corporate Finances after her one year leave due to medical issues. "I look forward to an exciting year for Meridian Co.," says Brazier, "and I would like to thank all the shareholders for their patience, support and understanding".
Brazier has been instrumental in the success of Meridian Co. since 2003. "We are pleased to have Brazier focus her energies on MRDAF as she has been a very important member of our management and development team, and is a true asset to our organization", states Director & CFO, MR. In B. Park.
Both parties have come to terms with an agreement that will be beneficial to both the shareholders and the growth of the company.
"Trickle back" is certainly the correct term. However, my cautionary post should ring true for all that have been here for as long as I have LOL. We should have learned our lesson by now.
Not to rain on anybody's parade, but its another MMI thing, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with the public company, and contributes very little to OUR bottom line. Quite frankly, I don't believe any announcement by MMI should even be linked to MRDAF. Its like CVS advertising a sale on Aquafresh toothpaste and putting it under a corporate news release for Glaxo.
All I can comment is that whoever has decided to run this up is doing a great job and very smartly. The MMs look confused. However, I still don't think there's any substance to this little run.
It's been a tough year for all of us. Here's to 2010 and the changes it will hopefully bring! Happy New Year!
From what I heard, the BC office is closed for the holidays, so yeah, you'd have plenty of time. Quite frankly, if things were REALLY that busy, they wouldn't have the luxury of shutting down amidst the avalanche of BCS orders LOL. And.........its quite obvious no one gives two chits about the shareholders.
BD, Its real easy to settle this "misunderstanding." You're both from the Boston area, then resolve to meet each other at a Starbucks, McDonalds, etc. It would help convince us your not Rob, Warren, or Jonas LOL. Quite frankly, your thinly veiled comments, time of posting, etc lead even me to suspect your identity.
OK, I can understand being frustrated with the stock, at the Koreans, but why IR?
Just maybe he asked because you listed Boston, MA as you're "location," and he's from the same area lol? You can get together for tea and cookies, and commiserate about your investment choices. I don't know why its such a difficult question. I'm from Pennington, NJ, if anyone wants to visit me lol.
Yes it is, but "John the CEO" has been visiting Vancouver the last two weeks or so.
From what I understand, "John the CEO" is in Vancouver, doing whatever he does in Vancouver.
While we all revel in the string of so-so NRs of recent days, lets not forget they have very little to do with MRDAF, the public company. Internationally? I think not committing to any numbers and projecting a NR in 2010 speaks for itself.
Holy Cannoli! I spoke with the normally mild mannered P-Daffia just now, and boy is he pi$$ed. He wouldn't go into details, but who wants to be the lead plaintiff lol.
I found the motherlode. Every distributor in the US is listed, with contact numbers:
http://www.lapexbcs.com/distributors/locator.php
I didn't even know there were that many lol.
Watch what you wish for lol. My order is in for 3,500,000 shares at .001. I figure $3500 is all I'm willing to pay for 10% of the company.
Did you notice that none of the NRs contain telephone #'s, addresses, or websites of the new distributors. Wonder why? I did, however, find one:
Great Lakes Medical Marketing
13008 Peninsula Drive
Traverse City, MI 49686
I will only suggest going through the past NR's and hunting them down, as I did.

I've said it before, and will repeat it: CALL the various distributors announced in the PRs over the last two years and ask them how things are going. Calling England, Germany, France, Turkey, Japan, etc. will cost you $10 total for the one minute conversation, significantly less than your investment in this company. While you're at it, call the US distributors for an evaluation of MMI. You'll be "enlightened."
Relax, big fella! I wish we could all talk about sales, new contracts, earnings, FDA, etc, but we've been given the silent treatment for over two years - and what they've given us ain't worth squat. I'll say it again, "I DON'T GIVE A FLYING F--K ABOUT MMI." The public company is lucky to get 15% of the sales revenue from Vancouver, probably with margins no greater that 25%. Figure it out. And......I have a treasure trove of due diligence that says this is still a carcass and smelling worse every day. What do you want me to do, say, or discuss on this board? Humor is all we have left, and that's not going to last much longer.
Can it be long before we're down to a rotten cent? Looks to me like tax selling has started.
Count yourself lucky on that $6,000 investment. Most of the guys I know are out 10-100X that, myself included.
BTW, most of those "distributors" can be found on Sedar.com, and most of the agreements have contact names, telephone or fax numbers. While you're at it, ask them how they feel about MMI, AND....check out the agreement between the pubco and MMI.
"Lower than whale c*rap." LOL, those have been my personal expectations for well over a year. Sometimes you have to rely on your own dd - research and call EVERY distributor ever announced and ask how many units they've sold. You'll be astounded, and not in a good way.
WOW! Another NR!

WOW. Its like everyone is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. The master gives us an extra crumb of dried bread and everybody's happy. I view this NR as a "must have" piece of news which had to come out this week. Sorry, I'm not tipping my hat or bending over in gratitude - and it looks like the market is agreeing with me.
OK, I looked back through his posts. His last post was on 5/1/2008, when he came on to "see how we were doing." He effectively stopped his daily posting on 3/7/2008.
Is the exact date going to make you feel better? I think he's been gone for at least two years.
Heck, I'd wecome a "whorehouse" LOL. Means somebody's making money, and someone's enjoying the ride. As I see it here, no one here is makin' money, no one is havin' fun, and we're all wishin' we never stepped into the parlor.
Can't make much sense out of "no money" LOL. I have to assume they're getting those machines out of Korea for less than $15,000 (that's what they were asking about 2 years ago, and doubt that manufacturing costs have risen much). Somehow everyone was making a profit back then. Let's see, at say, $60,000 per unit, that's a cool profit of 300%, and they don't have a couple hundred for a news release? Something ain't right, eh?
I'm still trying to figure out why we're in this pi$$ing match with each other. Seems everyone is pretty much on target and arguing over nonsense. As far as finding out what the price is, all you have to do is call Vancouver and express interest in buying a unit.
Ya think a price tag of $68,000 for the BCS has anything to do with sales? I knew guys who were embroiled in dozens of lawsuits and impending divorces all at the same time and could still outsell the bejesus out of most everyone. Looking at the specs and components of the machine, I doubt this baby costs more than a few grand to produce. 68 grand is outright greed or stupidity IMHO. I'd rather sell 5000 machines at $15,000 than 1 or 2 at $68,000. I don't know the new fella, but I'm willing to bet he ain't smarter than a fifth grader.
Personally, I don't give a rat's azz about a catfight in the private company. Last I looked, our investment is in the public company, which itself doesn't look to be doing too well.
"I'm not real happy with the way Meridian is being operated..."
"I shouldn't have been so trusting..."
"It appears that I got bum information."
Are you now saying that everything they told you wasn't true, and how did you come to those conclusions? I'd really like to believe there is still a strand of hope (albeit a really, really thin strand) that I'll be able to walk away from this dog with at least a small percentage of the tens-of thousands I've lost to date (on paper - yeah right! LOL....or more suited to the occasion, COL).
Labor Day has come and gone, and we're still heading in the wrong direction. NITE now down to .09 at the ask, and DOMS has joined the exit parade at .095.
It could have been great, but there's nothing left of that dream.
We were told a lot of things by Peter and Anna, NONE of which (to my recollecton) came to pass. I'm willing to bet NOTHING will happen by end of August, and NOTHING will happen by end of September.
I was trying to keep my comments to myself over the last little while, but I can't stand it any longer. The same routine is being played out just like before. Despite promises, communication remains at ZERO. What will it take to get these folks to DO SOMETHING?
20-F is out. Other than ending in the black, the rest reads like a horror novel.
