The way I like to say it is, having china and poken out there gives credence to a much higher multiple to EPS. Having these two 8000 pound gorillas out there perhaps attributing 5-10-20-30-40c this year will make this trade at a 30x multiple. Not going to that multiple overnight obviously but its where it is headed.
ehhh you might be pushing it thr, most big boxes decide what is going to be on xmas shelves by early september
I expect poken to be closed by end of month.
Spoke to EGMI just now. Had lots of one on ones this AM, present in 10 min, and then have one on ones every 30min until 6pm tonight.
I think this sums up everyones thoughts

they really are pathetic...beyond pathetic
They retail for $15 per poken
just spoke to egmi...They have sold 1 million pokens in europe in 6 months with no marketing plan, i think it will do very well here http://cms.doyoupoken.com/web/guest

Thr was at least one other, was most likely merriman buying for some funds. Company did a non deal roadshow last week. Obviously sparked some interest.
you usually can't really tell but this time if was obvious. ARCA just steam rolled the stock in the early morning up to $6+ and then he just pulled his bid and let the stock sink down into the 5.70's where he stood waiting to buy more. The rest of the day you saw arca, take a few offers and then pull off, take a few offers and pull off, did that all day and obviously by laws of supply/demand stock slowly started moving back up to $6. He was the buyer all day.
Congrats longs
it's 2-3 funds accumulating, you can see it on the tape/box
Bill Fleckenstein has been humping the stock the last week or so. He has owned a large position last year or so. Stock should have been over $1 by now anyway, but he has helped.
TBUS: Saw these guys at a conference. Good company, good management and product. No Position but Wrote them up anyway. You guys shld do fine here: http://bit.ly/HmH7k

a company that can continuously grow net income 40% for three years and soon to be four straight years, with no debt, with 11m in cash, 22m assets vs 700k in liabilities, and that trades at less then 10x this years operating EPS is undervalued anyway you slice it. There are many here that love to speculate why this stock is down ie: china isn't closed, we haven't landed a big sports franchise, Kevin has a cold, etc. The reason the stock is down is because a consultant for the company was let go the day after the shareholders meeting because he was useless to the company and wasn't worth the 200k/ year egmi was paying him. He then went out and sold all his holdings, and a week later told everyone he knows to sell the stock because he's an asshole and thats what assholes do. How much was sold, I don't know but its at least three million so far and I'm guessing it is about over if not already. My guess is we see some more deals in the next couple weeks, china being one, and others, and the current price will look like a steal of a century because it is. This company is about to show its colors, and I feel confident that my prediction for 20 Cents AFTER TAX (~30c operating income) in 2010 will be highly likely if not low. I am in this stock for the long haul as many of you here are as well. I would hope that many of you have taken advantage of these low prices to avg up or down on your position because the rubber will meet the road very shortly. Have a great weekend.

yes. They wouldn't have put out the PR this morning or even would be going to this conference if China deal wasn't going to be closed.

Very nice move today with the downdraft in gold.
when there is really only one big boy on the block then their is always room for competition. Time will tell however..like I said I think the rest of this year EPS wise will be lack luster, so it's going to be all about the rollout strategy. This isn't a major position for me yet because I want to see the strategy and determine from that point what the potential is.
once management givex some clarity on dvd roll out it will get going..prob 30 days away is my guess. GAXC is one of those that the ATM business is probably worth 10x EPS and if its growing porbably 15x in itself. The funny thing is GAXC is sort of like the SouthWest Airlines of the ATM world. GAXC is really the only profitable one when looking at the publicly traded comps. Look at Cardtronics (CATM), the biggest on the block...The ATM business will do 12c this year when backing out the Q1 charge, and probably 15c next year. DVD's in my estimation using conservative numbers adds 5c next year. So I think GAXC earns at least 20c next year ..and you put a pathetic multiple like 15x on that and that is significant upside...Hoping is continues to fall back ;)
Yes, and I feel that the TLR/SMD joint venture relationship is very attractive to potential landowners who have a good property. I would think that this synergy probably puts TLR on a short list of companies, comparable to a mid their producer, for new project looks.
Well, I would disagree on that aspect but I actually feel the risk/reward is equally enticing. TLR really has no risk which is odd to say for a junior miner/exploration company. TLR trading at 25m market cap vs GORO 350m mkt cap. The only annoyance with TLR is their lack of IR and wanting to get the word out while GORO are masters of this. I think TLR should trade near $1-1.25 right now given the resource and time yet to production. Each month that ticks off the calander probably adds 5c to the stock. The real caveat is if they can show the market their ability to bring in another project like Butte Highlands, thats when the the stock could really start moving again. I spent some time with management on the phone a couple weeks back, and I know they are looking at several projects and would hope to bring another on in the H1 2010. I spoke a little about this in an earlier post.

spoke to management yesterday just to check in. My guess is DVD roll out November. Once they give some clarity stock will gain ample traction. Now trading at 7x this years EPS.
Analysts do a lot more then talk to management as well. They do channel checks, ie talk to the customers, talk to potential customers etc. I have no doubt that Merriman or any other real analyst probably talked to FM Moscoe, Sovereign etc..
Chance to see: Good question. That was actually a question I forgot to ask at the shareholder meeting. I know about as much as you do on this question. I know there were a few large iQuiz card shipments that were going out Q3/Q4 that would make up for the growth but to whom I don't know. I know that our newest Analyst at Merriman spent some time with Lee on the phone in this regard, but I forgot to ask him personally. Lee has been spot on for a bunch of quarters in a row on his guidance numbers and said during the call that even if Revenues would come in a bit lighter then expected due to timing of shipments or currency fluctuation that they would still hit thr bottom line guidance.
You are completely wrong. The reason the stock was ever below 70c was because no one knew about the stock in the first place. As wall street wakes up to this multiple expansion will happen. First Merriman then some roadshows, then another, and word will get out.
Yes exactly, and we are talking about a $8-12 price point on the retail level so you can't expect a nintendo wii experience either.
lol was probably the poker/bingo card. I have most of the cards here on my desk and don't even know why you give any of these cards to a kid. Well maybe the tic tac toe. Iquiz card/Thomas Tank cards aren't even out yet.
Sam: I've told you a bunch of times I believe they will earn 20c AFTER TAX next year, but thats a discussion for another time. Most if not all companies that trade publicly (that aren't China Based) trade at 30x fully taxed earnings when they show consistent year/year 40-50% NI growth as EGMI did in 2007/2008/2009, and will do 2010. Hence the opportunity that exists today.
