Very interesting read!
Thanks for posting that 4kids.
This stuff is new to me, and I am not sure what is going on either.
Has anyone got an order filled since yesterday?
Got your message. Thanks, and let us know what you find out from IR.
Would be nice to see a floor established at a reasonable level here.
So...bid/ask is .0005/.02
That is quit a spread. Would it be a correct assumption that this is ALPS opening quote for AERP on the OTCBB?
How does that work with the .001 PPS it is currently trading at?
MM: ALPS
Interesting that this MM is showing up on:

Very nice to see AERP uplist to OTCBB!
Another item crossed off the list.
Now let's see what comes next.
There are many cars driving on the road right now that are not under any warranty.
If you have a car under warranty, have you in fact made the call to see if installing an aftermarket performance exhaust will void that warranty?
I own one older car that is not under warranty, and another that is still new enough to have a warranty. I will have to call and find out what affect the installation of an AERO exhaust will have on that warranty.
As far as AERO's distributors not selling their product, and thus returning it to AERO...I think that that was an initial consideration those distributors took into account. The distributors AERO has signed on are not new to their business. They know what sells and what does not sell. In fact I believe many have posted here that they have made calls to these distributors and found out that they are in fact selling AERO exhaust systems.
Who is to say that AERO will not pursue that avenue in the future.
Right now, I believe that their business model, as stated by the company and others posting on this board, is to obtain nationwide distribution. That has been happening, and will continue until that goal is reached. It is a smart management decision IMO, and will lead to good things for the company. Just wait and see.
As long as they show steady improvement, I think investors will follow.
IMO.
If by large companies you are implying the likes of Ford, GM, Chevy, Honda, Toyota, etc... Can you show me one that has put ANY performance muffler on their production cars from either Magnaflow or Flowmaster?
I think AERO has a better chance of going for the large truck manufacturers such as Frieghtliner. Those trucks will receive a larger savings from the fuel efficiency increase, and would be more likely to purchase or licence the technology from AERO.
I do not think it will be such a long road to $2M in sales, but I will await the filings just like the other longs.
So, your logic is that ONLY big companies pouring lots of money into R&D will come up with new technologies.
WRONG!!!
There are many breakthrough technologies discovered and developed by small companies, and even by smart people out on their own without working for large companies.
All AERO needs to do is continue spreading the word, and yes even promoting its product (god forbid) to become successful.
Walk
Thanks for posting that info about ongoing research, and I agree that a bankrupt or nearly bankrupt company could and would not be doing this work.
Also, thanks to you and 4 kids for the info about what type of car is pictured on the page. It does have the appearance of a race car, but I am not a huge race fan either so I wasn't sure if we were sponsoring again or what. The car does look very sharp, and I am sure that it is intended to reach a target audience...success achieved.
Best of luck to us all!
Sounds good. I am sure you will keep the board posted with any info you find out.
Vacation was very nice!
Thanks.
Just checking in after a little vacation, and I see that AERO has a new page on their website for a monthly featured product. Does anyone know if the car pictured at the top of the page is a race car, or just a pimped out ride with AERO stickers?
http://www.aeroexhaust.com/exhaust_feature.html
"This months feature is to introduce to you our STX 523 2.5" to 3" Muffler. The design of the STX 523 is a unique design that provides a simple way of taking a standard 2.5" inch exhaust system and increasing the output exhaust to a 3" inch high output system. This rare configuration will actually increase the flow of your exhaust system dramatically.
Through extensive testing we have found that simply taking a stock 2.5" exhaust system and increasing the system to a 3" outlet half way through the system increased the exhaust flow of all vehicles tested. This scaled increase in exhaust system size produced by the STX 523 muffler allows for the gasses to draw more quickly to the outlet of your exhaust system. Thus increasing Horsepower output, Torque, and even an increase in Fuel Mileage as compared to standard systems.
Aero Performance Exhaust's latest line of mufflers, the Turbine STX series, is the ultimate combination between our patented Turbine Mufflers, and the more traditional Stealth Mufflers. Each STX muffler is built with a two chamber system, including an air foil cone, which increases flow of exhaust gasses in the first chamber, and a noise canceling traditional performance packed chamber.
The STX 523 provides a system that increases flow threefold by use of the Turbine system, the straight through design of the second chamber, and by increasing your 2.5" inch system to a 3" output.
Other systems may show similar performance gains, but the STX 523 will allow you to drive your vehicle without the annoying whine created by those other mufflers. The STX 523 is guaranteed to produce the most horsepower, torque, and fuel mileage increases, without the excessive noise produced by other aftermarket mufflers.
Agree on ALL points Walk.
Glad to see this heading in the right direction, and I am also invested for the long term. I will look to take profits when AERP reaches its true value. We should find out where that is heading when we get this next filing, but we need to wait until the annual to know the results of their strongest sales quarter. Can't wait to see that YOY comparison.
And I would argue that as gas prices are getting higer, even a 2% increase becomes more and more attractive.
IMO most people are looking for ANY way to save money on fuel these days, and taking advantage of them. Why not swap out a muffler that will give you a PERMANENT savings at the pump.
All the other factors, like clogged air filter, tire pressure, driving conditions, etc... are TEMPORARY and must be constantly maintained to see the fuel savings.
Your welcome 4kids.
I have not posted for a while, but I sense that things may be heating up here again soon.
So, tell the people who installed the systems on their personal vehicles, and reported the fuel savings to AERO that they are liars. I am sure they would love to hear from you.
NOTHING is impossible...including AERP PPS rise in the near future.
AERO website page with fuel saving graphs contains the following disclaimer:
The below results are actual fuel mileages reported by customers who tested their vehicle before and after the Aero Performance Exhaust Turbine series mufflers was installed on their personal vehicle.
Results may vary depending upon environment, driving habits, and vehicle configuration.
All Aero Performance Exhaust productcts are made from the highest quality materials including 100% 304 & 409 Stianless Steel, which is extremely durable and rust resistant. All products are maticulusly polished to a reflective finish with high quality welds.
Other materials include Aero´s own high temperature ceramic packing, which delivers much better protection while reducing excessive noise.
The following test was performed in a strictly controlled environment. The test was performed to show temperature rating differences between Aero Ceramic Packing and our competitor's Rockwool packing and the advantage of having a high quality packing material inside your muffler.
For specific Questions about the Aero Performance Exhaust Muffler please see our FAQ page.
If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us anytime at 1-877-266-5356.
So, you see that they have already addressed your comment, "Given all things being equal, it is impossible for a muffler alone to produce these savings." They admit on the same page, as well as on the FAQ page that the fuel savings will depend on many variables. NOTHING misleading about that to me.

Diesel: The truck stops here
Oil jumps nearly $5 on weak inventories
'You're working for gas now'
Economize your ride
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The kid who delivers your pizza may be charging you an extra buck for gas, but for the guy that trucked the tomatoes, hauled the dough or milked the cows, passing along the fuel increase isn't as easy as pie.
From truckers and farmers to loggers, construction workers and fishermen, skyrocketing diesel prices are pushing what many consider the backbone of the American economy right up to the breaking point.
"I'm in debt," says Jim Gossett, an owner/operator truck driver with a wife and daughter in Chapel Hill, N.C. "Do I turn in all my equipment, potentially lose my home?"
For the last nine years Gossett has driven a truck. For the last few he's been running a specialized carrier, delivering boats to marinas and dealers across the country.
He says his profit margin used to be around 25%. But with the near-tripling of diesel prices over the last few years, he now says that has been cut to 5%.
He says cutthroat competition in the industry means he's unable to pass along the increased cost.
Others who use huge amounts of diesel for a living say the same thing.
"You can't get any work if you raise your prices," said Tyson Clay, filling up the tank for his bulldozer at a gas station in Camden, Ala. "You just grin and bear it, people are only going to pay so much to get their land cleared."
Clay burns through 300 gallons of fuel a day. With the big runup in prices, he now spends $700 a day on off-road diesel, which is cheaper than regular diesel partially because the taxes are less.
Diesel soars
Due to strong demand diesel prices have nearly tripled since the start of 2004, analysts say, jumping 22% in the last two months alone. With a nationwide average price of $4.03 a gallon, on-road diesel is considerably higher than gasoline's $3.26 a gallon. This is unusual since diesel is normally cheaper than gas.
Unlike the average consumer who can cut back on gasoline use when prices get too high, businesses of all types have little recourse.
"Federal Express may not like high diesel prices but they have no choice but to pay the numbers or shut down," Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at the Oil Price Information Service, wrote in a recent research note.
FedEx, or any other business, will be lucky if they are able to pass along the cost.
"Demand is weak," said Gus Faucher, director of macroeconomics at Moody's Economy.com. "If you're in construction, business is terrible right now. The last thing you want to do is raise your prices."
For consumers, it doesn't really matter if the fuel costs are passed on or not.
"The consumer impact is limited," said Faucher. "Transportation costs are a pretty small share of overall consumer prices."
In a bind
But for a logger like Tommy Lawler, it makes a huge difference.
Lawler has been logging land around Wilcox County, Ala., for more than three decades.
He has four logging crews out in the woods at any given time, each running three pieces of heavy equipment. Each piece of equipment burns through $150 of fuel a day.
Because contracts for logging are signed months, sometimes years in advance, he has little room to maneuver when the price of diesel spikes.
"If we stay here a month and fuel goes up 10%, I have no way to pass that along," he says over the noise of a logging operation in action. "Ultimately, it comes out of my bottom line."
His operations are already down to four workers - the minimum needed - so laying off workers isn't likely.
And with few other jobs in rural Alabama, Lawler doesn't have much to fall back on.
"We're limited in our options," he says. "It's not like you can go down the street and pick up a six-figure office job just because the cost of fuel is high."

Sounds like Bryan wants new investors too:
"We believe that this is a very important step that will allow us to more effectively brand the public company and gain greater attention in the public markets. We also plan to take every opportunity to communicate to the fans of Aero's products in racing and other performance automotive markets that Aero is a public company and that they have the opportunity to consider an investment in Aero at an exciting stage in the company's development." stated Bryan Hunsaker.
That was my favorite part.
SEMA NEWS is out
Franchise Capital Corporation Announces Successful Exhibit at SEMA Show and Reports Strong Interest in Dr. Gas Products From Automotive Supply Distributors
Company Also Files Quarterly Report for Period Ended September 30, 2007
Franchise Capital Corporation (PINKSHEETS: FCCN), which recently closed its acquisition of Aero Exhaust, Inc., a world leader in performance exhaust airflow technology and NASCAR Performance Partner, today announced the successful joint exhibit of Aero Exhaust and Dr. Gas., Inc. at the 2007 SEMA Show and reported strong interest in the piping and tubing products of Dr. Gas, Inc. from automotive aftermarket product distributors, including those that currently distribute Aero products.
The SEMA Show (http://www.semashow.com), which was held Tuesday, October 30 - Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is the premier automotive specialty performance products trade event in the world featuring performance, accessories, restoration and motorsports products.
Representatives from Aero Exhaust and Dr. Gas, Inc. attended the SEMA Show, including Dr. Gas, Inc. founder and CEO Boyd Butler. Members of Aero Exhaust's marketing department who attended the SEMA Show reported that regional warehouse distributors of automotive supply products articulated a strong interest in distributing Dr. Gas, Inc. products, specifically its piping and oval tubing products.
"At the SEMA Show, a number of regional warehouse distributors, including those with established relationships with Aero Exhaust to distribute our products, expressed a strong interest in carrying Dr. Gas products as soon as possible. It was apparent from the feedback we received at the show that there is widespread interest in the products of both Aero Exhaust and Dr. Gas in the automotive performance supply industry, and that the synergies between the two companies will provide significant opportunities for cross-marketing and promotion," stated Justin Andersen, warehouse sales manager for Aero Exhaust, Inc.
"The SEMA Show was a successful event, and we are now following up with the numerous distributors who visited the booth and look forward to entering into discussions with them related to the supply of Dr. Gas products, while we move forward with our expected acquisition of Dr. Gas and execute the integration strategy between the two companies. The automotive performance supply industry clearly understands the potential of Aero Exhaust and Dr. Gas working together, and we will take every opportunity to increase the profile of both companies under the banner of a single public company," commented Bryan Hunsaker, chief executive officer of Franchise Capital Corporation and Aero Exhaust, Inc.

OKAYYYY!!!!!!! IMO!!!!!!!
SWEEEEEEEET!!!!
I would say they "spent" (IE: last years advertising cost) so much on promotion to get to the point they are at now. When they realized that that advertising was creating a larger demand than their supply could keep up with, they slowed or stopped trying to advertise/sell any more...o.k. Now they have increased production capablity, and are ready to supply a larger (MUCH LARGER) market base, and so they are ready to start selling through more lucrative channels...get it!?!
I assume they will be paying for Dr. Gas via an equity transaction since they have not the capital to work with.
ALL IMO
sho da mo, I agree that meeting demand is key focus.
Thinking logically about their past position (IE. not being able to keep up with demand), I believe that AERO basically quit trying to attract new customers. I mean, why would they want to build a larger consumer market for their products when their production could obviously not handle it.
Makes sense to me that they are now going to start REALLY kicking that sales force into gear now that they can meet an increasing demand.
Aside from that, it sure seems like Dr. Gas and AERO are working hand-in-hand at this point, and all that is needed to consumate the deal is for the lawyers to work out the finer points.
Agreed. Just imagine if they can ice a difinitive agreement with the good Dr. by Nov. A whopping 75 days later, we will see the AFs on him. So, by early Feb. I would expect to see us valued MUCH MUCH higher than we are today.
tl, I just read your sig...that is fccn hilarious and swvc'ed up!!!!
BTW there is a song playing on the radio here, "du hast mich" by Rammstein. I love it!
This was the part I was focused on as well NC:
"In addition to its racing applications, Dr. Gas also manufactures for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Freightliner."
THIS IS A HUGE DEAL!!!
Take a look at DCI: http://www.donaldson.com/en/exhaust/replacement/index.html
They are a leader in this market for now...but AERO certainly has plans to make a move in this arena. IMO of course.
Crash, I would too if I was a "trader".
However, since I am not, I think I will hold on to my "investment". And, not much longer now until I will pay significantly less for my capital gains taxes.
AERO is just getting started, and soon the PPS will reflect true value and future potential. The "penny traders" here will likely not help get us there IMO, instead it will be the new "investors" attracted to this stock.
Polly, Thank you for giving us your professional opinion about the difference between these two database resources.
I value your opinion over those that choose to use the lower D&B numbers because it suits their needs.
Thanks and GLTU!!!
filled any yet?
IT'S GOOD TO BE A LONG!
8K's have been accepted/posted on EDGAR later than 5:30 ET.
I have been watching all week.
Nice theory, but I think he was "hand selected" by some other businessman that knows what they are doing.
Changing Subject...
Well, since nobody else wants to offer thier opinion, I will throw out some names and hope that it kicks off some discussion. This board could use a break from the same old tired conversation that has been prominent for the last few days/weeks.
Some big "primary shareholder" names I could only hope for:
Jack Rouch
Rick Hendrick
Joe Gibbs
Any other guesses?
I'd bet $$$ on it
