It seems the last couple of weeks have cleared many sellers. It may take a while for all the damage to be repaired to the gold/silver market, but nothing done so far in Washington has been gold/silver negative, it will base, consolidate, and probably make a very powerfull move up going forward. We'll have to see how a move like that will impact PCFG.
That would leave a share price of roughly .335 per share (250MC) if the share structure didn't change, and the POG didn't change. (not likely that the POG stays constant). We'll have to see what happens to prodution numbers with their recent guidance. We have to give PCFG a chance to show if their years of ramp up work pays off, my DD shows they have a chance.
Feeling a little beat up this week! We haven't broken the 200dma and hopefully this selling stops, unfortunately we had another big volume day..... troubling... Ok I'll stop whinning and start adding! Lets keep our chins up!!
I'm one of those longs (5.5 years) and this is what I've been waiting for, after all this time.... news of production begins. SWEET!
Looks like PCFG has digested the profit takers and is ready to turn up. It doesn't look like it wants to break this up trend channel.
Long time paitent holder of PCFG. Lion Mines traded for .07 cents in 1979, traded for $413 in 1980 and wasn't much of a producer, IF this company produces, and the side liners are looking for a sector that's performing they'll see what the fundemental and technical chart of the precious metals has produced since roughly 2001. This is a small sector and won't take much to supercharge a never ending bid chasing ask.
You could be right... the usd is currently trying to keep 84 support but it won't last long. When it breaks down, and we know it will gold will make it's run north, also watch what the price of crude does when the dollar sinks. GLT
Thanks for the reply, and I'm in too. The dollars day is numbered, and the trillions injected will come back to haunt us. Gold moves up as a result and I continue to load up, because.
On a different note, I assume you hold shares of SLGLF? Did you receive a Annual Meeting notice. Do we keep the current board? Appriciate your input prisoner!
Hey prisoner, don't write to often but observe the board nearly everyday. We'll see if the assalt develops,we know the pog will explode, the real question is the disconnect between the dow and our pm stock sector? it just hasn't seemed to happen yet, don't get me wrong the downdraft in some quality stocks (cde,hl,auy, kgc, the list goes on....) oh yea slglf has made for some seemingly buys of a lifetime. So, my question.... would an assalt on the COMEX that drove the bullion price up 150% have the positive effect on our postions that we have sought for so long finally come to pass?
I'm a holder of PCFG, don't respond to often, but... my feelings EXACTLY.... KER FLUSH!! Too funny if it wasn't so true.
KD
Not what I want to hear, it's clear we have probably been "taken" by BDGR, and it's managment team if thats what you call them. $150 oil on the way and these guys can't build share value, that says it all doesn't it!
I'll leave when I'm good and ready, that's when Joes out or my shares are worthless.
Great reason to own some gold, which I do. Our dollar is in bad shape and will be sacrificed for the sake of our banks, why would our government bail out an investment bank (Bear Sterns)? Strong dollar policy! Bah
I agree, the potential of green fuel is large. Portrayed properly in the eye of the public, this endevour SLGLF is undertaking would be well received, especially if the process proves to be profitable and serves to relieve and reduce our forgein oil imports. They're traveling down the right road imo, but they'll have to shake some of the neg. press by proving themselves.
Hey guys, I have to ask, did anyone buy Ignis as the NEXT Ultra Petroleum? Just askin.
FISH! Absolutely beautiful. I'm on the floor.
I hate beating this dead horse. All I'll say is ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS. I like many hear could have sworn with all the pictures and PR's this mill would have been running by now. That's why I bought and now I'm with feeling duped like many of the others here.
Just kidding, but I think your right about the gold paint. And who out there can wait until we get more pictures, more equipment progress,(you know a crusher) a tweek here, an adjustment there, one more test run, a DB assay report, as far as Marks' concerned I'm sure 2008 will be a great year. I'm not sure any of the shareholders will feel the same about '08.
Is that post split? Or pre split? No they're not RIP. Honestly I think this baby's ready to go, I'll be adding shares after the R/S, they've GOT to be close now!! And if you believe that.....
Just as long as I can do an etching of my name and the number of lost shares I'll be forever in Marks' debt, oh wait a minute I already am in his debt
Probably, NOT at the enterance to the mine site. Good one.
So you feel the "runs" over. OK I'm good w/the idea that everyone has a right to their own opinion. I have mine you have yours. There isn't a thing wrong with taking profits, if you bought and held the metal from '06 till now you made over 40% and that well outperformed the DOW, so I'll leave it at that applesauce, GLT
So I'm trying to figure out your riddle applesauce. I do watch the greenback and its feeble move above the 50dma was just that. It's now ready to retest its low. And with gentle Bens last rate cut, "look out below"! HOWEVER you are right nothing goes down forever. But it looks to me that the DOWs trend is down, S&P down, Nasdaq down, housing sector down, the dollars trend is down, oils' trend up, gold trend up, silver up.
You think the metal has been played out? I think a good buy point may be coming on a dip, but played out? There's no way I would short anything gold right now, I would add on any dips however.
Just about every Presidential candidate has indicated the need for an independent source of oil, and most recently gave their support for the low rank coal intiative. Now with any type of Fed funding I guess I look at that as mostly good, it will come with strings attached, and does Silverado have the jump and the other companies that will no doubt try to capitalize on this process? I can't remember how long the demo plant was going to take? Do you? I've got alot of shares of SLGLF and will probably chance one more trade before going long again and holding, any thoughts?
ps Sugar Daddy, I thought the funding was shared by the state of Mississippi and Silverado on the Demo plant construction. (26 million dollars was the figure)
Just taken' a short break, it's oversold and it's the dead of winter. Crude the last two years got a lot lower than it is now which was reflected in a much lower winter price per gallon at the pump than this year. I hate to say but this is probably the year of some large realized price inflation numbers. Too many earnings this month off the mark, too may "writedowns" and WAY too many more to come. JMHO
Well just goes to show anybody can fall for it! "Nearly completed mill and processing"! As the saying goes fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I voted no on the R/S, and joined the first TRO, and bankruptcy and a R/S = the same ends, LOST INVESTMENT for shareholders. Start the mill, quit jerkin' us around.
I continue to be a little confused, sorry. I've been a BDGR shareholder for over a year. Bottom line for me, after a year I've learned that Joe Lanza IS NOT a man of his words, "men are judged by their actions" with that in mind I have run out of second chances for this man. I'll vote my shares for the "insurgent nominees". That being said, did Summitt not say all managenment would have to be removed before any take over?
MRK, do you think we'll have the opportunity to sell this stock before any kind of news on the low rank coal plant and still buy back in? I was very interested in what the pres. candidates had to say about reducing our foriegn oil imports with low rank coals weren't you?
Yes still holding my basis is .0804 and probably will consider trading the stock until the plant in Miss. is near completion.(2 more years I believe) I think this is where some potential lies is this companies ability to produce these oil substitutes.
Silverado has a low rank coal program and is partnering with the state of Mississippi and a $26 million demomonstration plant. Interesting that most of the presidential candidates specifically have mentioned their interest in oil dependency through low rank coals and its production.
Paragraph #2 What catches my eye is the last statement. Also, pretty obvious, without funding there will be no management take over.
2. "John Martineck and I are not employees of BDGR nor are we working for the company now. We were brought into this transaction by the outside funding group who recognized the value of the company’s latent assets and insisted that experienced professional management run the future direction of the investments. According to the terms mentioned in the press release, we will take over management of the assets once the funding is in place. The current management must be completely out before the new funding can be implemented."
Well MRK, can I call you that? I don't think your off your rocker, the US is not in good shape, over priced housing, suspect loans, over priced stock market, hate to say it but gold is under priced relative to inflation, and lets face it when gold goes up, the economey usually is not floursing, but if we know that going in we can protect wealth, and maybe even profit!
They broke ground in '07 but I can't remember when, June or July?, anyway I've read some crazy predictions on oil price, anymore these days maybe not that far fetched! ($175 oil, grain prices doubing agian). Gold $1200. What can I say, 6 months ago I would have thought that "off my rocker"!
prisoner, I forgot to mention how much I like SLGLF and its low rank coal initiative. With oil touching $100 today there will need to be some alternatives out there, and the U.S. has alot of low rank coal. Thanks for your input. glt
Prisoner, seasonally SLGLF likes to make its run. It will be interesting to see how the POG affects all the miners with the next run. (gold closing in on all time high) I hold a large position of Silverado and am ready for a turn up after its long sideways movement. glt
Shareholders: escierto has a point. Long time holders, think back.... have ANY of the audits happened independently? I don't post often, take this for what it's worth, a mans ACTIONS speak louder than words. Has this Joe guy earned YOUR respect based on his ACTIONS? 100,000,000! come on, not going to name the Funding Company? come on! Over 12 billion in reserves, if that's true this company wouldn't be named Black Dragon, it would be BP, Unocal, Chevron, Exxon/Mobil. I'm done.
Thanks Manny for the board! There is a conversion formula depending on the closing price of Royal Gold on a certain date. (.0172-.0179 shares of Royal Gold for each share of Battle Mountain if memory serves) ps sorry I don't have pm.
DC
Well we won't have long with Battle Mountain, with the buyout, I hold 25k shares. I'm little dissapointed I didn't pick up some Royal Gold shares @ $23 when we had the chance. Are you holding shares of BMGX waiting for the merge?
DC
H-C, Will tommarrow be the day of title transfer?? And if not, how disappointing will the effect be on share price? It's gotten tough to stay patient, but I think the stedfast longs will stay strong!
