In my opinion it is illegal to set such a date of record so far back!
Here's a link --- corporate law prohibits setting a date of record more than 60 to 90 days prior to the date of declaration:
http://books.google.com/books?id=GuMUd-YJfrAC&pg=PA300&lpg=PA300&dq=how+far+back+can+the+Board+set+the+date+of+record+for+a+dividend&source=web&ots=lJm4-wewWE&sig=szDDbkIYLoskPU0kWWXCJiDVYxY&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=1&ct=result
Holy Crap --- we could spike over 10 cents tomorrow!!!!
Short term target --- 35 cents.
Long term target --- $1+
GOLIF -- how do I get these shares converted to GLCC??? I hold the company responsible to fix this!!!!
When does my Scottrage GOLIF problem get corrected? I will hold the company responsible to fix it!!!
So $15 million less expenses divided by shares outstanding equals 3.8 cents not .0038 cents.
I'm sure they will clarify the amount and the record date in a Pink Sheet notice soon.
So $15 million minus $1.76 million of commissions and legal expenses divided by 348.3 million outstanding shares = 3.8 cents per share
I'm sure they will clarify that they meant 3.8 cents not .0038 cents per share.
Look for a pink sheet posting tomorrow....I hope.
Which means the current price is quite a deal!!!! Unless the dividend is to shareholders of record back in February.
More clarifications please!
That's what I assumed but surprised that MONA pr today did not offer that as an explanation --- instead they cause their investors to worry.
Olympics will make all things China go crazy in the stock market.
I remember when snowboarding was added as an Olympic event --- I bought a snowboarding stock and it went up 300% in the first two days of the Olympics.
Every american will want China stocks after they see what's going on over there and the growth potential. GLCC will benefit.
So MONA is saying that GOLIF is not the restricted version of GLCC??? So where the heck is my GLCC dividend and what the heck is GOLIF???
Did someone sell my GLCC and substitute GOLIF in some crazy bungled dividend distrubition?????
Bizarre.
I bought another 150,000 on Friday --- more funds clear Monday afternoon --- my goal is to get my holdings up to 1 million shares next week. $50 would be nice --- my long term target is $5 but I'll take $50.
You guys should be selling the farm, the kids, the wife to get money into this one. Great to be early on a company that will blow the doors off.
All China stock will be flying by 8-8-08; and GLCC will actually deserve to be flying!
We'll see .44 before we see .04
Don't wait!
I'm still amazed by this statement.
To sum it up, we are in great shape to reach our 20,000 store location by 2011, including our plans of building a total of 19 logistics centers, handling approximately 8,000 vendors, 50,000 network shops, and handling distribution of more than 50 billion yuan (nearly $7 billion USD) in products annually."
It's 2008 --- 3 years from being a $7 billion company???? Wow!!!!
time for some "paint" at the close.
Predicitions?
I say .075 --- nice ring to it
Just picked up 150,000 more shares at .067 --- glad I waited...
Wow, I predicted this at noon today. We hit 8 cents, now we'll drift up to 10 cents at the close.
35 to 50 cents is still my short term target, but don't chase on Friday, the mo-mom players settle up at the end of each week.

Holy crap! Nice run.
We'll fall back to 8 cents, and then close at 10 (that's o.k. with me...)
Higher and higher --- 35 to 50 cents is my short term target; with a long term $10.
Enjoy the ride, or trade in and out, there's no wrong way...

Looking at the March 31 financials on Pink Sheets; for the full year 2008, Revenues could hit $10 million and Profits $2.5 million.
Retail China growth stocks can be valued two ways:
6X revenues = $60 million
30X profits = $75 million
180 million shares = 33 cents to 40 cents
Currently trading under 2 cents?
Yes, I think it's a STRONG BUY.
Agree. Looks like it's time to buy GLCC.
Why isn't this news in the IBox? It's been out there since April 16 (see nees on Pink Sheets).

That's when all things China will soar!!!!
Captain can you sum up the pieces for me???, I've been out of pocket for awhile.
Please list what we know and then feel free to list what you speculate --- you have turned out to be a good speculator!
Thanks,
PM
OK Captain, and what is the "new arena", why have they gone dark, and what is the purpose of the fireside chat if it is only a one way dialogue?
Frustrated in bean town this am.
Any chance that MONA shares are currently trading with the dividend? Meaning today's GLCC divy will be distributed to current holders? Or will they really go back to holders on Feb 5.
Still stuck on the certified mail thing --- who are they mailing it to? me or Scottrade?
Any chance Steen has decided to take the company private via private investment?
If he truly believed that MONA was undervalued at .03, then go find some money and buy it for .10 or .20 --- I would vote "Yes".
Once private you don't have to deal with nasty message boards and trying to pump up the stock price on a daily basis.
Makes too much sense to me!
Someone wanted to get in ahead of the news today---they were willing to pay 5 cents!
Yipee! Yipee! MONA holders will be rewarded YIPEE!
BIG BIG NEWS...
Monarc Corporation website is temporarily under construction to make room for new and upcoming announcements.
In respect to our shareholders, the Fireside Chat will not be closed during the construction.
We apologize for the inconvenience but look forward to present our changes very soon..
Best regards
Monarc Management.. (not Steen, Monarc Management)
30 cents soon --- get ready --- I feel a BIG PR comin tomorrow or Monday.
I can't get my fireside chat id initiated...
Anyone else have these problems?
I'm headed to Toronto in a day or so, perhaps I'll try to get a visit.
7 to 10 days for the divi ---- this is day 6 with no update.
Let's go people!!!! Update please!!!!
Price Target $1.50 by April, 2008
PennyMaven has issued a price target of $1.50 for MONA, and has issued a rating of "BWBH" (Buy With Both Hands).
Consulting with Captain for longer term price target --- currently considering a range of $15 to $30 per share, and may merit the unusual rating of "SYDSYWBBB" (Sell Your Dog, Sell Your Wife, Buy Buy Buy)
PM
I also wish to take this opportunity to advise our shareholders that notwithstanding our previously announced plans for a forward stock split, both Syscon and Horescon under the terms of our agreement shall not be the beneficial recipients of the upcoming forward stock split we are currently exploring.'
Acquisition for both companies is a mixture of cash and stock valued at about $600,000 for both companies.
The acquisition of Syscon will be funded with 3 million shares of restricted stock and options for another 3 million shares at a strike price of 0.10 cents a share based on certain pre-determined performance parameters. Additional details on the acquisition will be forthcoming on our corporate website in a fireside chat forum currently under construction.
3 questions for the board, from a MONA long term bull.
I consider myself a smart investor but I don't understand 3 things in the current PR.
1. They bought Syscon for 3 million shares plus 3 million options with a strike price of 10 cents. If MONA is trading at roughly 10 cents the value of the deal in my opinion is $300,000. 3 million times 10 cents = $300,000. The 3 million options have a strike price of 10 cents, so at today's value of roughly 10 cents that has $0 value since they are not "in the money". Why does Steen refer to it as $600,000????
2. Why would a forward split be beneficial to current investors? This stock just had a reverse split to get the stock value above 1 cent; why would they now do a forward split which would take the value below 1 cent?
3. How is it possible that the Syscon shares would not participate in the forward split? Why would they agree to that when it will have a negative impact on the shares they get?
What am I missing???? Help me someone.
Is he using the term "forward split" incorrectly or am I not understanding the term?
who sells at .02??? that's .00002 in our old days...geez people
