Flip, the easy ability to post charts on the forums is no more, as far as I know. It's been quite some time since I have tried. Too bad. I thought it was a great promotion for both this site and StockCharts.com
Perhaps someone who reads your post will reply with an update.

Hi tothe, wouldn't it be wonderful if I could just fix StockCharts.com issues. Unfortunately, I am just an ordinary subscriber.
I have been using StockCharts.com since it was a free service about 18 years ago, and I love a lot of the things they have done with the site over the years, but I gave up some years ago trying to post charts on these forums. Originally, it was easy, and I think it benefited StockCharts.com by exposing potential users to the charts.

The header on the board is very out-of-date but I suppose it doesn't matter because I seem to be the only one left following Route 1 or (their new trade name) GroupMobile It's All About The Data.
There is a patent lawsuit underway that may provide a windfall to this company, if successful.
They have diversified and actually had positive cash flow this past quarter.
May be better days ahead.

Problem resolved apparently. Still no mention on Twitter feed.
StockCharts.com site open but charts not showing for anyone else? For me, it looks like it went down sometime between the close and now. Nothing showing as a problem on their Twitter feed.
It's been so long since I tried to post any of my charts, I don't have an answer for you. Maybe someone else here on the forum will though.
I cannot remember whether 15 minute charts can be posted for non-subscribers to view.
If I come up with anything, I'll post another message, but this is a March Madness weekend, so it will be next week soonest.

Thanks. I will keep your suggestions in mind if they visit again.
I do use an always on modem. I will keep that in mind as another possibility.
I ran out of tin foil so I wrapped it in saran wrap. I hope that will protect it from bugs, alien or otherwise.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks Zorax. I am waiting to see if this was a one evening event. It didn't occur last night. If it happens again, I will go into bios and review the "turn machine on from" settings.
If it was a message from some alien civilization on a distant planet, trying to contact us, I am afraid I didn't record it. Maybe next time.
Doing some looking online about this issue.
At least one source says: The ghost machine that turns itself on and off is a fairly common problem.
That source gives some directions about going into BIOS to fix the problem. I will keep looking before I try that.
Intel chip? - last night when I shut down my computer, it wouldn't stay shut down.
I shut down as usual. I am using an HP EliteDesk with an Intel Core :5 vPro inside. Operating system Windows 7 Pro.
Shut down seemed normal. A few minutes later I happened to look in my office and the computer was running again with a text screen saying something about Intel. A bit tired at that point and I didn't write down or record the text.
After a few minutes, the text closed, and then my computer opened to my password login. I logged in. Then shut down again.
A little while later - computer was on again. I logged in. Shut down. And then unplugged it.
This morning it opened normally.
If it happens tonight, I will try to record the text.
Anyone had anything like this happen?
Thanks Garden Rose. My version of the Chrome browser doesn't give me a pop-up with Properties, but I will try it with IE one of these days.
Whatever the issue was with Chrome seems to have resolved itself.
Anyone else using a Chrome browser having an issue connecting to StockCharts.com this morning?
Seems to work normally using Firefox.
All other sites working normally using Chrome.
Hi tothe,
I understand your concern. I don't know that those previously charts will go blank after the symbol change. I gave up posting my charts some months back because I was having issues posting them and didn't have the patience to try to resolve the issues.
Have you tried sending a note to Support? I have found them useful in the past.

Hi nwsun,
Disclaimers first: I don't trade on the OTC market. I don't often look at or trade anything under a buck, and when I do I am very suspicious of chart indicators that can be influenced by daily dollar volumes that might be under ten thousand bucks. Also; I know no more than any other fool. I am not a professional trader, nor a professional stock trade adviser.
I use the CMF on all of my charts as one of my indicators. I don't make decisions based on CMF exclusively, but I do find it useful when used in conjunction with other indicators I use.
You've probably looked at the Chartschool article on CMF at StockCharts. The first of the three steps in calculating CMF is probably the most relevant one in this case.
1. Money Flow Multiplier = [(Close - Low) - (High - Close)] /(High - Low)
Looking at the chart ( I am using the Elder Impulse System but Candlesticks will do as well) you can see that, despite a falling price, on many days the Close was well above the Low, while the Close was often near the High of the day.
That might suggest that buyers stepped in on many days to bring the Close well above the Low. That might suggest interest.
As long as you see that pattern, the CMF calculation stays positive. Usually a good sign. Perhaps these past few days since your post confirmed that.
Hope you were holding some. Good luck with it.
StockCharts.com now reporting through twitter that both their High-Speed Internet circuits have gone down.
StockCharts.com issue or my ISP?
I have a couple of index charts set for 15 second refresh open on one of my monitors during market hours. Late last week and again today, I am having an issue. I have had to manually update/refresh a few times and right now both charts have changed to reduced settings instead of my default settings.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Yes, it was my first thought when this began happening some months ago that I must be just miss hitting a key or missing a step, etc., but I don't think that's my issue.
The top post-it on this forum leads to an old StockCharts.com page that outlines pretty much that technique you are using, though they haven't updated it with the Permalink button.
For me, posting charts was just something interesting to do on the side. I am in StockCharts all day and have my own fairly comprehensive way of analyzing the stocks and markets that I follow. I have no real need to post my work.
If I resolve my issue, I'll let you know.
Thanks for posting those directions.
Hi Garden Rose,
That method you described used to work for me, and I used it often until it stopped working for me several months ago.
This morning, I tried it with the three browsers I have on my Windows 7 Pro computer.
Using that method, I could not get a chart to load with Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer.
Using Chrome and Firefox, at one step, you get a different option pop-up, but with each it is pretty much the same.
I will let you know if I figure out why it is no longer working for me. Or if I come up with another solution.
Hope that keeps working for you.

Hi Garden Rose, well that was what I was doing when it stopped working for me several months ago. I will give that a try again later this week and also try to figure out if there are other options.
Thanks for that.

Hi Garden Rose, I had some problems posting charts several months ago and just stopped trying, but I will spend a little time on it later this week and try to come up with an easy solution. If I figure it out, I will post an answer to you.
Anyone else who is still posting charts from StockCharts.com please jump in with an answer if you have one.

I reinstalled Malwarebytes on the weekend. This time, their site offered the option to go immediately with the Free version. When I had downloaded a month or so ago, the only option was to go with a trial version of the Premium package that reverted to the Free version when I let the trial expire.
Not seeing any problems with the version I installed on the weekend.
I did not see an option to select Version 3.0.7
The version I now have is 3.0.6.1469
I had allowed the Premium offer to expire and so was on the Free version, too, but I found it was slowing my whole system. At least, I think that was the problem. When I searched online, there were forums discussing problems with version 3.0.6 which I was running.
I uninstalled, but I will revisit it this weekend, and may install the version 3.0.7
Hi Kitt. The version 3.0.6 that I had downloaded was only available as the Premium (paid) version. It had a built-in 20 or 30 day free trial after which it reverted to a free version if the user did not apply for the "paid" version.
I will have a look at the newer version that Wildbilly mentioned. Probably take a look on the weekend.
Thanks Wildbilly.
Hi Wildbilly. I used the free version for many, many years. Still have it working on two of my computers. I will take another look to see if there have been fixes since I downloaded 3.0.6
Always liked Malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes 3.0.6
I have used Malwarebytes for years. Always liked it and relied on it.
A month or so ago one of my computers fried and I had to replace it. I installed the new version of Malwarebytes. Did not like it. Uninstalled it.
An online search for "Problems with Malwarebytes 3.0 will find there are forums discussing the issues with this new version.
Hi tothe,
Like you, I am a Subscriber. Going on 16 years for me. I have gotten a lot of value from what I have learned over the years and the charts are integral to my trading.
I don't trade the pennies or OTC stocks. It does appear that this stock is generating enough volume to be of interest to those who do. I don't know how long it's been since your last request, but you might try again.

Problem annotating. Just tried with Firefox. Working normally with Firefox.
Going to check Chrome to see if there is a newer version. Maybe that's the problem.
Problem annotating. I am using Chrome with Windows7. Anyone else having a problem annotating?
When I click annotate the chart moves an inch or so to the right, but no annotation tools appear. Click again and chart moves back to original position.
PLI.TO ProMetic Life on the TSX.
This chart is looking promising.
When I first started using TA there were very limited software options available online. Many of us started with simple Moving Averages because they were relatively easy to calculate and were available. The best scenario was when the 20 was above the 50 and the 50 was above the 200. Just as it is in the PLI chart on this date.
I should note that although it doesn't show here, there will be resistance at about 3.50 to 3.60
