I'm loving the DJO wrap. Feels comfortable and the support feels nice too. The only problem I have with it is there is only a space for one ActiPatch. Half the time I put two on the BIEL (Scratch-O-Matic 3000)wrap. I may order a sewing kit from Amazon or something to try and affix a second ActiPatch holder. Now, if I only knew how to sew.
Thanks, 4toschool. Now I would love to see a deal with a surgical supply company to start pushing ActiPatch in a hospital setting.
I ordered the new DJ back wrap on Friday and it's here already. The comfort level is excellent and we already know ActiPatch works. The solid support feels good too. It's a little weird putting the patch in, but I'll get used to it. You kind of have to bend it to get it in. On the plus side, it can't fall out or move out of position. This pic is of the inside that will be against your body.
I found a post it note on my desk about the Virtual Medtech Conference October 5-7 with DJO Global as a speaker. Does anybody else remember this? I haven't been able to find them on the list. I was hoping to hear them mention a recovery brace of some sort with a certain patch inside. Oh,well. The wait continues.
Right on Steve-O. Kelly fiddles while Rome burns. 5 clearances and almost zero sales during the opioid crisis. BIEL does not own PMEF. We just have a low cost, effective and cleared product that should have been on shelves becoming THE name brand in electroceuticals. The window of opportunity is closing fast. Kelly, sign any scrap of paper a real company puts in front of you.
That 3'rd party must be really looking over those details for this to not be closed yet. What about the deal that was already done for 2 million a year? Scott Specialties was already done also, a small fish but better than nothing. Where TF is Smart Insole? What about the wound care and whatever the other one was supposed to be. It's hard to keep track at this point.
It would be nice to know why there is no Smart Insole available. It's been what, 2+ years now? Even the pathetic BIEL online sales for it would be a few shares that would not have to be issued to keep the lights on. I bet Dr. Scholls made them to keep it off the market whether their deal went through or not. That is just wild speculation of course but, I expect that kind of thing from BIEL. I guess I will continue to add to my considerable stockpile of ActiPatches in case Kelly continues to drive us to BK. I have enough to cover me for about 2 years and change.
A good OEM could have been selling these by the truckload. Stuck at home? Can't get in to see a doctor? Have pain? Are you one of the millions of people that put off elective surgery? Buy an ActiPatch online. No prescription necessary! Oh, yeah, the opioid epidemic is still raging, another massive squandered opportunity. BIEL's 4 recent clearances at this time were an ultimate perfect storm.
*Weeps internally*
Unfortunately we don’t have a healthcare system, we have a sickcare system. More profit that way. All u can do is your best Xena
A healthy diet and regular exercise will eliminate or decrease most of the risk factors that make corona deadly. I never hear any stories about that either.
