Any price is a good one if you sell at a higher price. I've been buying for some time now. I think it goes much higher. Last January, we were double today's close on the news Jim Ford joined the board.
LM
Same outlook as always..................plenty of money to be made.
LM
I enjoy reading the give and take bantering. Both sides have a firm grasp of their opinions. However, while the pro and con arguments ensue, significant trading profits are being made by traders who put aside the fundamentals and look to make short and/or long term profits. Presently, I see a good trading opportunity (to the upside) in the making.
LM
The levels of buying activity have been increasing since last Thursday. If this continues, there is likely a move (quickly) to the .033/.034 level we saw a few weeks back. Setting up for another good trading opportunity. Positive news at the end of the trading window would produce significant gains beyond that.
LM
While today's p.r. didn't give investors any news regarding the audit completion or contracts, it did tell us that the company is moving into the direction of MSW as a means of supplying the reactors. Also, I was told that there was a post on another website that the company ordered the vacumns necessary to complete the other reactors. Seems to me that the new c.e.o. is trying hard to get the company going strong.
LM
Z......................If the financials aren't produced and submitted by year's end, then I'll need to go from Mr.Optimism to Mr. Pessimism.
LM
Z....................If the financials aren't done and submitted to the SEC before the end of the year then I will conclude that it'll never happen.
LM
Maybe this will be the first one.
LM
I only know what I read. Perhaps you can call the company and speak to Richard Cutler to see if he is running the day to day operation or not.
LM
Again, I don't know anything regarding past record keeping. If the statements can't be certified, then we'll never get off the unreporting pink sheet status. Richard Cutler did indicate that the certified financials would be readied soon.
LM
I agree. However, Richard Cutler is an attorney who's been around for a long time. I would think he positioned himself differently.
LM
I have no idea what the record keeping was previous to the new c.e.o., but I would guess that there's a lot of work needed to get all the line items in balance.
LM
Z.................I am in at 2 cents, after having lost my shirt, pants, shoes and just about everything else I own. I think there's a good chance that Richard Cutler has cemented his position as C.E.O., will produce audited financials, and give the company the best chance of getting the financing necessary to succeed. While I am still upset at having lost tens of thousands of dollars, that was in the past, and if I don't let it go, I'll end up going postal on myself.
LM
Look at Richard Cutler's background...........he should be able to secure his position with all his legal knowledge.
LM
JR is no longer the C.E.O., so why continue to bring him up? Why live in the past? If Richard Cutler fails, then I'll throw in the towel. Until then, I'll support him 100%. If he can't get it done, then I'll sell and move on. Right now, I'm betting he gets it done.
LM
Oppenheimer immediately sent out a release distancing themselves from the company. I thought that Pratt&Whitney was a Kelmer Smith contact. I've never met Richard Cutler (the new c.e.o.) but I feel that he deserves my support until he shows me that I shouldn't.
LM
The reactor they use costs hundreds of thousands to build. Without certified financials, the financing necessary to get the business going won't happen. The new c.e.o. seems to recognize the need for certified financials.
LM
A key ingredient to producing their own electricity is to get financing to build-out reactors. Financing won't come until the financials are completed and certified. In a previous release from Richard Cutler, he indicated that the certified financials would be ready soon.
LM
Siemans, a multi-national, multi-billion dollar company, would never have allowed this p.r. to go out if the gas couldn't power their turbines without problems, otherwise they could be held liable if something went wrong using our vertroleum gas.
LM
One for the good guys............breakout news.
LM
Good advice.....................Huge news this morning. Siemens has validated our vertroleum gas as usable in their generators. Good chance that this is the start of something big. Stock is flying high this a.m.
LM
Looking for continued follow through buying as the stock closed above its' 50 day moving average of .023. Volume levels will determine if the move upward can be maintained. Breaking above the 50 day moving average yesterday gives this scenario a good chance of happening.
LM
I was told to buy this at 10cents. Now it will take 20cents. I should have trusted my gut that this was one of those "real" deals that comes along ever so infrequently.
LM
Another good day on fairly good volume. Either short covering or real buying interest. I'm sure we'll know soon.
LM
My 2 cent buy looks pretty good right now.
LM
Thanks......................I hope it ends up good that I came back. Regards the long-term outlook, I can only say that if the new c.e.o. is as sincere as he comes across in his press releases, we certainly have a fighting chance long term, but no question that it's going to take some significant capital investment in the company to get the stock moving upward.
LM
Follow through is extremely important. People in the know always get a leg up on the rest of us (those of us who only know after a public announcement is made). It would be nice if we've finally seen the lows and those of us who have lost can now win.
LM
I am looking better as of the close today.
LM
Even a blind squirrel finds acorns......................No need to get angry. If I knew the current c.e.o. I would post about him. I only know what has been published about his background in the press releases. Any information you have regarding his past successes/failures would be appreciated. At this time, I haven't seen any evidence suggesting my buying stock at 2 cents was a preposterous idea.
LM
I lost way more than I care to admit to with this stock and USSE. For what it's worth, I blame myself. Thankfully, I have some gains from earlier in the year as I was writing call options against covered positions in Altria group and doing quite well (again, at that time). Meanwhile, I bought back into SSTP after reading various statements from the new C.E.O. It seems to me that this person is trying to clean things up. Whether or not the company has perfected the process, I do not know. However, it seemed like a good idea to get back in at 2 cents and put all the old stuff behind me, as it appears the company is closer to resolution of the outstanding issues.
LM
Let's face it. Our only chance to run a profitable pyrolysis process(which generates a greater than average yield because of a secret catalyst) is to use raw material which is not sold in the open commodity markets. Soybeans, corn etc. will never work unless the government itself supplies the feedstock. All big oil has to do to make alternative fuels from soybeans and corn uncompetitive is to buy up the futures contracts. They raise the price of oil, we pay the increases, and they use the extra dollars to buy up futures on the commodity exchanges. Our government is not behind alternative fuels. Election money is coming from big oil, not big ethanol. Big ethanol has no money. And like they say, money talks.
LM
As President Lincoln said, "We hold these truths to be self evident."
LM
It's painfully apparent that the process was never as refined as we shareholders were led to believe. Maybe now after the numerous months of R&D, we might be ready to comply with our end of a contract if we ever sign one.
LM
The higher the price of oil, the better we look as an alternative fuel.
Time for us to cash in on the momentum with some executed contracts.
LM
I'm sure that somewhere along the line he used his own money to fund his R&D. I understand he's been at this 19 years.
LM
Would be a lot easier to render an opinion with qualified information. Presently, too many rumors flying around, not enough facts, but if just a few rumors turn out to be true, we're probably in for an October 2006 like run (think USSE).
LM
That's an interesting take, sort of a conspiracy theory. Unlikely, however, because actions like that would be contrary to every bit of testimony they have given us to digest, and in so doing, would only serve to justify shareholder (longs) actions against them, should any arise.
LM
Well put.
LM
GEO:
You must mean someone else. I never stated anything about the PPS of USSE being equal to the PPS of SSTP, only that perhaps with USSE owning a third of all the SSTP shares outstanding, perhaps the PPS of USSE should be higher. Percentage wise, there is quite a difference from .035 and .065.
LM
If I remember correctly, USSE owns approximately one third of SSTP's shares. With SSTP at six cents, I'm wondering if USSE should trade higher based on valuation versus SSTP.
