Unlike most companies with expensive promotions-this is the real deal. Looking forward to their next announcement

There is a link to a Google case study done on GTX. Very interesting.

That's not the impression I got at all. GTX is announcing they are using Google Maps API Premier. If you read the release and the email that is clear in both. I don't see it as misleading.
Seems to be a good response to the PR.
I agree. This company is well financed. The contracts will come. I think this is being reflected in the share price yesterday and especially today.
Interesting. I only find one GTX Corp when I search. I think the shoe would work, especially if licensed to a real shoe company. Maybe the kidnapper takes another kid if yours has the shoes on!
Good pick-especially given that deal with Chevron announced last month
Maybe it was Jim Cramer
I think it will see a nice pop...and a huge sigh of relief will be heard.
CHEVRON
Looks like the market is starting to take notice of the Chevron deal.
California Oil & Gas Corp. Announces a 3-D Seismic Farm-Out Agreement with Chevron in the San Joaquin Basin, California
California Oil & Gas Corp. (OTCBB: COGC) announces a Seismic Option Farm-Out Agreement (the "Agreement") with Chevron U.S.A. Inc. ("Chevron"). Under the terms of the agreement, Chevron will fund 100% of the cost of a 3-D Seismic Survey in the San Joaquin Basin in Southern California.
COGC's partners ("Partners") and Chevron will contribute approximately 16,000 and 3,000 gross acres of mineral leases respectively for a 33 square mile High Definition 3-D Exploration Seismic Survey. After processing and interpretation of the seismic data, COGC and the Partners will drill 3 wells on mutually agreed prospects. The Partners as a group and Chevron will then each hold a 50% interest in the lands and wells.
The 3-D High Definition Survey will be the first modern data acquisition over the survey area. Drilling targets are highly porous and permeable sandstone reservoirs containing 15 degrees API to 25 degrees API crude oils at depths of 1,200 feet to 3,000 feet, and are therefore relatively inexpensive to drill.
It is expected that the Seismic Survey will commence in the Third Quarter of 2007.
COGC has an option to earn a 12.5% interest (after recovery of 200% of costs) in the seismic area leases and wells by paying 25% of the cost of 3 wells in each of 3 prospect areas covered by the seismic survey.
California Oil & Gas Corp. will be the operator for the seismic survey and the drilling. Producing wells will be operated by Chevron utilizing their extensive facilities and personnel in the area. Crude oil will be sold to Chevron at posted market prices.
Reinvest in Skins. At this stage of the game, I think you'd be better off putting money back in Skins. That NY Times article will lead to a lot more articles on Skins in other publications.
I think you'll make good money if you hang on.
Good article. Saw it in the hard copy national edition.
I bought a pair from Sportie LA's website. They tell me July delivery. I'll keep you posted.
That is a good score getting a guy from Geox.
An explanation would be nice. I hope it's because they're tweaking the product. With such an innovative concept you want to hit the market with a perfect, seamless product line.
I think it is a good buying opp. Stocks down because of another delay not because of poor response to product. If you still believe in the concept I'd buy more if you can. I would if I could.
Could be a good idea. Logistically would be hard as most people who buy shares of public companies don't show up as registered shareholders, the depository Cede Co. shows up.
Yes, unbelievable...I'm sure shareholders of Microsoft enjoyed receiving their advanced copies of Vista, as did all Apple shareholders enjoy their early iPods...
Nice price increase on great volume.
Agreed they need to get into a big chain. But the sneaker pimps are a good barometer of what the mainstream will wear in the future.
Interesting. The San Joaquin Basin seems like a little gold mine. Right in our backyard.
good idea. I heard they are opening an outlet store this year.
Up 22%. Nice.
I hope they attend the Collective in New York starting todaay running 'til Tuesday. It's a cool menswear show held every year. Maybe that will help the stock.
Maybe so. But I believe consumers are going to buy this product, that is why I bought the stock. People shouldn't buy because it is 'bouncing back', they should make an informed decision, and if they do, I think they'll see it is not a false opportunity.
Probably sage advice for day traders though.
I'll talk to you. I've been following True Religion since about $3. Unfortunately, I didn't buy any. I'm very interested to see their shoe line.
Do they have any sort of winter shoe?
Good bounce today. Maybe things are going well in Spain. I noticed it traded a bit on Frankfurt.
Smart ones are buying them
Cash from warrants
Listen to the webcast of ICR Conference (link is in post #589). President states that expecting $3 million from exercise of warrants. My guess would be that they had a producer of the Skins prior to that announcement but decided to get an italian company to produce for the 'Made in Italy' stamp. You're right, a late move, but retailers don't want the Spring line in their stores until Feb/Mar anyway.
Try and make it passed security! We'll watch for you on the webcast. Pretty unbelievable that Skins is presenting here. All the other companies are pretty much household names for investors.

Stores don't want the Spring line in January-too early
no delays here. Stick around Agriope. Healthy scepticism is good.
Early 2007
Probably pushed back because stores do not want the Spring line on their shelves in January. Makes sense.
Competition
We will not be competing with Crox or Hushpuppies. The shoes will be used in different contexts. Can't get into too many LA clubs in crox. Can't pick up chicks in Hushpuppies :)
The cool factor is important. As far as price point, people said the same thing about $250 jeans a few years ago. Now look at companies like True Religion, bringing high end, expensive denim to the masses. Comparing Skins to Hushpuppies is like comparing True Religion to Wal Mart jeans.
The books you mentioned sound interesting, thanks.
Star power
Paris Hilton walks into Sportie LA. Buys a pair of Skins. US magazine takes of picture of Paris in Skins stumbling out of a club. Fashion mavens see magazine and inquire about her shoes. Fashion mavens buys Skins. Fashion wannabees see fashion mavens in Skins and start buying too...
This could happen and in fact happens all the time, especially with jeans, shoes and high end bags (the uniform of trend setting hollywood females)
Now we just need Justin Timberlake to stumble out of the club in a pair too!!
Sportie LA
If you've ever been to Melrose Avenue in LA you know Sportie LA
Here is a review of the store I found online.
Sportie La
March 10, 2006 9:02 PM PST
This is pretty much the best store to get a pair of shoes in Southern California. They have the BEST selection of sneakers. This place can get pretty crowded on weekends. Celebrities even shop here sometimes. Staff is helpful but they are pretty overworked because there is usually not enough of them.
I have never seen any false or misleading statements about this company. Doesn't therefore seem to meet their definition.
Well said son.
I think some good reasons to stick around will be coming. The patent approval is massive. Love to see some purchase order details though.
