I fastened my seat belt this morning. Course I wear one when mowing the lawn.

I doubt it. My guess is that Marmar will fund the operation and provide the manpower and equipment but the profits, not the income, will be split 50-50.
So, in your calculations, Gene, allow $5700 for costs. My guess is the $700/oz will be low, at least during the growth stage. I'm sure the accountants will play with it until none of us can figure it out.
Interesting that the PR doesn't mention the mill operation. I hope that's going on now.

Thanks, Professor. Final exam on 9 June?

Thought I might be leaving out just a few details. I don't think I understand what the smaller pipe does. BTW, did you mean 6", rather than 6', or were you talking length? I remember they recycle the water/cyanide solution, adding more blue stuff as needed. If that's in the mixing pond, is the barren just for fresh water?
Is the cyclone concentrator Paul's version of the centrifuges we tried to keep out of Iran? King sized table top, of course. Logic, and Sir Isaac, says they take the outside chunk to the wash table and the rest to the leach pad. Then the light stuff washes off leaving golden rows.
Isn't there some silver mixed in also? Same, same, or "Now for something completely different"?
Dino
Thirty days hath September
And the pond as I remember
Dino
I think it's mostly waiting for the pond to get pregnant.
They seem to move dirt very fast, so digging the pond, lining it and the pad are probably done. I think the next step is laying pipe for the cyanide spray. I'm too far away to hear the blasting (about 2500 miles or so), so I don't know if they've started crushing ore yet.
If I understood the plan, though, they'll be crushing two kinds. The low grade, I understand. You spread it on the pad, spray it and measure the amount of dissolved/suspended metal in the pond water. When it's "thick" enough, you start the deposition or electrowinning.
The richer ore, I understand that you crush it, but what then, EA?
Dino
I just submitted my "No" vote.

Not all of the silent shareholders are pissed off. Many of us only post when we have something worth saying. To "shout" "Yippee" doesn't really inform followers of this board. Neither does posting POG. So, most of us just read without comment.
New trends in POG or PPS that are not obvious, information about plans or accomplishments from management (Paul or his staff), even links to interesting articles about economic changes, etc. are examples of useful posts. Humor has its place, too.
Boards of this nature are intended for opinions and speculation about the company and things that affect it. If we all agreed all the time it would be boring and no one would bother. I agree, we need to keep it oriented toward MXSG, not personal. A sure sign of losing a debate is attacking the speaker rather than his assertions.
I've been following this board and it's RB predecessor (as booboo557)since June 2010 when I first bought stock in MXSG. I still hold those shares, and a few million more. The information relayed by Don, and my conversations with Paul Sr., Debbie and most recently, Paul Jr., have convinced me to stay the course. I've waited almost 6 years, sometimes impatient, but never losing my patience.
I fully expect to get stinkin' rich from my investment in MXSG. But, as Don keeps telling us, these things take time.
Okay. It's my turn in the barrel.
Dino/Boo
That can't be the reason. When I suggested that last year, everyone disagreed.
Dino
When? I'll be there in mid July.
Dino
I talked to Debbie last night. She said they were re-issuing it for wider dissemination. I think they're going back to Global.
Dino
Where are you based? You personally. I'm not asking for directions to your mine.
I'm driving to AK in June. Only plan to go as far north as Denali (booked a campground in Cantwell), then over to Kenai area and Valdez. Am I going to be near you?

As a former Presidential contender would say,
"Picky, picky, picky."
Dino
Mr. Adams disagreed.
“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion,” John Adams warned."
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
We have no government capable of contending with human passions unbound by any code. The only government that will serve is tyranny. We can have a virtuous society of free men and women. Or we can have what we have now, and that is only a taste of what is still to come in the dying days of an empire whose people are busy trading their virtues for pottage without counting the cost.”

If you want to have fun sometime, look up the old unit of measures. When my son was in his AP Physics class, I suggested a project. As I recall, it went something like this:
One inch = three barley grains
several grains = one dram
several drams = one ounce
16 oz = 1 lb
2000 lb = 1 ton
lots of tons = mass of Earth
circumference of Earth = 24900 miles
convert miles to barleycorns
Weight of earth ~= circumference.
The teacher marked a zero in his grade book until he saw my son's grin and heard the final line of the presentation:
"It's a conspiracy, I tell you!"
Dino
A ton is 2000 pounds avoirdupois. A tonne (or long ton) is 1000 Kilos or 2400 pounds. Since gold is usually measured in grams or Troy ounces, they usually refer to tonnes.
To further confuse us, a Troy ounce weighs more than the one you're used to, but there are only 12 Troy ounces to a pound. That means that an ounce of gold weigh more than an ounce of feathers, but a pound of gold weighs less than a pound of feathers.
Here's a free converter: http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/conversions/common/ounces-to-troy-ounces.php
and some history: http://www.troy-ounce.com/
You play with it. My head hurts.
Dino
Too old? I've been investing in the stock market for more than 50 years. I read every word he writes and look forward to his next posts. Yes, his style of writing can be difficult to read. He has explained in the past that it makes it more interesting for him.
If that's what it takes to get him to share his knowledge and experience, then sure, why not? Besides, it gives those of us who have been reading his posts for several years an advantage over folks like you. I've made the effort to use my mind to read, interpret and recognize the references - and their relevance - instead of demanding everything be explained in 6th grade prose.
Dino
Much!
Dino
You shouldn't. That was a farce. Mexus certainly is not.

That was a disaster for the French during WWII. They built - at great expense - a defensive position to guard against a German invasion. The German's just went around it.

Mexus eliminates debt and continues negotiations with potential partners
CARSON CITY, Nevada March, 7th 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG)(“Mexus”
or the “Company”) announced that the company just completed meetings in Mexico with multiple
companies concerning agreements on all of their properties. CEO Paul Thompson was encouraged by
these meetings and added, “The meetings which recently occurred were extremely promising. Mexus
has numerous options going forward and will make the deal that is best for the company and its
shareholders. I hope to have an agreement in place in the very near future.” There are four
companies currently reviewing the Julio/Santa Elena and Scorpio properties.
In addition, the company announced that it recently settled a majority of its debt obligations. Added
Mr. Thompson, “In addition to clearing our debt, we recently began liquidating assets that will not be
needed moving forward. After the sale of these assets is complete the company will have sufficient
capital to operate as we move forward with potential partners.”
Dino
Have you ever owned a stock that went straight up?
Neither have I.
Relax.
Dino
I haven't looked at this stock - or this board - since answering your post in August 2014. I finally managed to sell my few shares remaining after the reverse splits in April 2015.
I have no idea, nor desire to know, what the company is doing...if anything. This is the first time I've looked at the stock since then. I see that http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/ZEON/quote shows the stock with a skull and crossbones. Probably a valid warning.
I wish you good luck.

"and the company's other commitments."
I think you may have hit on the real reason AR turned down the opportunity. It seems to me to have been penny wise and pound foolish, but then again, none of us know all of the facts.
Remember, too, that under the terms of the deal, they would bear all of the cost and give Mexus 20% off the top. If you work out that math, it may be that a slightly better grade for leach plus to them a small amount of high grade and a lower up front capital cost wasn't a better deal.
Dino
Also frequently informative. You're new here. Read some of his older posts and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

Although PT isn't known for his timing, I think PD would advise him to wait until Monday for a major announcement.
As we've seen in the past, deal-making takes time. Even after the principals agree, we have to wait until the lawyers do too. Assuming that they shake hands today, and you know what happens when you ass u me, I wouldn't expect to see anything formal for at least a week or two.

Let me spell it out for you. I'll try not to use big words.
No. I am not "out" of this stock. In fact, not just no, but hell no! I buy more when I get some cash.
I fully expect eventually to receive income from dividends and long term capital gains (although I may never actually sell and receive them) from the stock. I also expect to transfer most, if not all, of my Mexus stock to my children when I die.
Does that sound like a vote of confidence in the company and its management?
I hope so. That is what was intended.
Dino
Probably for the same reason you and I did.
