i check in here once in a while to see how things are going, i find your "pull the sell trigger, idiot" post pretty amusing :D
lmao...miss me?
i dont know if thats particularly true, we were way overbought on just about everything too before todays drop..
who are you talking to ;P
good point of course. however sometimes its not necessary for a stock to follow the general market direction (e.g. AMD)..
..wait for confirmation of a move up ;)
AIG - important day tomorrow...i think AIG still has a chance to move up based on its daily chart.
check out the 50ma crossing the 100ma...good sign for AIG atleast short term, i would wait for confirmation of a move up before getting in however.
dont be so modest ;)
hey,
i sold my C today after i heard that C confirmed converted 5.5billion worth of preferred stock to common stock. I sold for a small profit so everything is good :) I might get in after the commotion with financials settles down
As of right now I am looking to strengthen my position on IBM, by avg up. The 200sma is about to be crossed by the 50ma, a very good sign in strength in my opinion and I am looking for a little bit of a pullback to check on this new strength, if a bounce occurs then I believe this is a strong stock for the long term and I will strengthen my position in it.
I also bought a little bit of DXO..be very very carefull with this one. but its a good little ETN for some swing plays.
this was an amazing call..cant stress that enough. but time to get out at this point, wait for the pull back.
amazing call on this. you nailed.
nah I didn't get in..unfortunately :(
it made an even bigger move today, exactly how you called it. good stuff.
good call on this. ascending triangles in an small uptrend are always fun
i'd be cautious if it doesnt break 1.8, but otherwise this looks good.
personally i think its going down to 1.40, the volume does not look as confident as it should on this consolidation.
of course anything can happen and that is just my opinion.
yeah i love reading Google Message Boards, when the price goes up 10 cents everyone is flying to moon. as soon as it goes down everyone is jumping out their windows..
...its just great.
most stock are great for flipping in this market, specifically C, being a lower priced stock.
i find it funny that you assumed i was calling you a pumper...
obviously you dont know anything bout pumping..
IBM - I think its a good stock.
stockcharts is easier to use, looks better and feels better...just IMO..
plus its been the norm on this site for years..
must be one big bear....
was it ever in bull mode? ;)
wow this is one nice looking stock..
what do you think bout this..

:(
well its only been 2 years...since i met you..hehe
I am hoping... :)
you still playing pennies mostly? you must be making bank, because when i lost my shirt on PYPR, i completely abandoned playing pennies. Just not enough volume or movement for me to be able to read anything on the chart technically. Obviously you need talent for this, which you clearly posess
i just went in on C, i haven't been trading as much as just buying and holding. I bought IBM at a pretty low price and sort of made myself forget about it. Its up for me right now.
I am hoping i can do the same with C, i think it has a lot of potential on a really long term, so im in... :)
hey old friend, how has the market been treating you. got your board marked :)
hehe by that time you wont have any hair left on your head..
I agree, I couldnt hold pennies overnight too much stress and I couldn't really follow the game during the day because of work.
I like my big plays, there is always liquidity so there is no scare of not being able to get out or get in. There is no chasing and the patterns tend to work out much more often, since there is always strong volume and plenty of traders following the same patterns (self fufilling prophecies).
I've stopped looking at too many indicators they just distort the sinal the real message. Price and volume and Moving Averages is mostly what I look for, and sometimes I will take a look at the MACD for some divergence, to confirm what I am seeing on the chart.
But so far I have noticed that price and volume are the key indicators..and obviously it only works on the big stocks. Breakouts on high volume are much different than breakouts on low volume :)
I play the small breakouts (or breakdowns) for a 5%-10% play(the play maybe a day or 2 weeks), because I play on margin my buying power is doubled and I can make more hence increasing my revenue and therefore increasing my buying power again.
For instance...shorted apple @ 190..still holding :)
move over to the big plays Creppie.
so Creppie you a millionare yet or what??
hahah shhh dont rat me out !!!!
coding..coding..and more coding..just coded a widget for NetVibes that uses stockcharts.com, to make my life easier..haha
lately have been coding Excel Add-ons for various firms and playing the big stocks not the penny's..
what are you up to? still in france i assume??
i like your foreach loop in the profile ! LOL
haha, ive been playing the big dogs..currently im short on AAPL !
drown apple drown !!!
sexy notes you got there buddy ;)
its actually a really great long term play with the charts in its favor..of course it follows the markets closely and the markets right now are doing great. these sort of plays let me sleep at night...these stocks also tend to follow charting technique much better than pennies hehe..
my strategy with playing aaple is simple..i have a long term buy that I have kept for a real long time now and looking to keep for a while..while the markets in general are in an uptrend you can bet AAPL will follow.
but weekly or bi-weekly i play with a different lot on AAPL, buying on the upswings and shorting on the pullbacks. Sure I make 300-500 in a week or two, but these calculated moves have relieved me of the constant anxiety that pennies used to bring to my life, it also allows me to actually work when I am at work..lol
how have you been doing Creppie?
guys ive been riding AAPL for like 2 months now !!! WOO GO ME LOL
hey guys, im sorry i havent been around.
i have been transitioning between jobs and had to take a mental and financial break from all this MAAAAADNEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS
thanks i appreciate it.
actually google is usually the first thing i do, but id doesnt bring any good results :(
i know you guys are playing pinkies and buying 10million shares would probably cost a lot, but i play higher prices nasd stocks and for me to do a round trip of 200shares is 20bucks when with a per share commission its probably like 10 cents.
