I think the biggest thing holding back big money (though some might be building a position as we speak) is not knowing the magnitude of the upside and the time when this investment will payout. We know there is now little down side since blarcamezine will become a drug, but is it going to be in on the market in 18months or in 5 years? 5 years is a long time to hold money in a stock. Not all are as patient as you all here. If the new bar for drugs is improved cognition, what % of patients will keep on taking this drug even if other drugs become successful? 10, 20 or 80%? Many conservative fund managers not watching this space might wait even for the first sales numbers to come in. Not everyone is a pioneer to stocks like these.
I also think that alot of investors were waiting to get slam dunk numbers on the 50mg arm. Now they can only be inferred through the data thats been presented so far. For them there is still risk before the full data is released.
