May you rest in peace Rich. You will be missed by many.
Chris
yup ... ya have it? Lashark83@aol.com ... thanks
You could but you have ... 10 cents ... but not? Then why the hell not? Seems like a great f_cking deal if you things are brewing as well as you say.
Who came up with this brilliant PP plan ... never mind, I already know.
Man Rich, ya screwed up a good thing.
My opinion … whatever the reason for these PP shares is one thing but the manner in which we found out about it is another. I was willing to give new management one shot at running a clean company. They failed. Was it McBride’s doing? Doesn’t matter, new management is involved. They could have specified the details of this PP in yesterday’s PR. They didn’t. My confidence in this company is now near ZERO!
My initial investment in SEVU was close to 2 years ago. Yes, I sold and bought many times. No more!

Good luck gang … great products but the wrong people running the show.
So this is all the ammo you have left, touting this x-10 junkware?
Whoa! I mean WHOA!!!! Did the lawsuit bring A@P down? I'll have to check out the latest on SI.
Thanks for the posting.
Nice set-up. Did you get one of the motion detector VCRs?

(BSNS WIRE) SeaView to Post 55% Sales Gain for Q2
SeaView to Post 55% Sales Gain for Q2
Business Editors
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 2, 2001--SeaView Video
Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:SEVU) (www.sevu.com) held its annual meeting
of stockholders on Friday, June 29, 2001 at 6:30 PM at the Company's
corporate offices. Stockholders in attendance voted on a slate of
Directors and heard presentations from the executive management team.
In his keynote address, President-CEO George S. Bernardich III
stated: "Growth is in our future. The Company will focus efforts on
the `basics of business,' which in the simplest of terms is: build the
product, sell the product, and reinvest the earnings to grow the
business. SeaView is, for the first time in our history, poised for
our first growth surge!" In addition, Mr. Bernardich reviewed the
recent success and acceptance of the SecureView Parking Lot
Surveillance System. That success, along with positive reaction from
Restaurant & Bar owners, has positioned the commercial-sales division
as the Company's sales-growth leader this year. FedEx Corporation has
ordered SecureView systems for evaluation, and a major fast-food
company and a national auto dealer both are awaiting formal
presentations on the SPLSS. Mr. Bernardich also showed video of
current production in progress, a parking-lot-surveillance-system
PowerPoint presentation, and videotaped comments from Company
spokesperson Mike Ditka, which included Ditka's appearance in a
SecureView TV commercial.
Michael Ambler, COO, stated: "We have several vendor agreements in
various stages of processing and we will announce these retail
partners as soon as we possibly can. And, we continue to expand our
team of manufacturer's sales representatives. We will also begin
sourcing SeaLite, our fastest growing marine product, overseas by
year-end. We will continue to explore cost-saving opportunities to
either improve gross margins or increase market share through
increased sales at more competitive retails in the marketplace."
Doug Bauer, CFO, reviewed the progress of the financial
infrastructure of the Company including the installation of new
accounting software. Doug also had the pleasure of announcing
preliminary sales results for the quarter ending June 30th.
"Preliminary 2nd Quarter 2001 sales are $520,000 versus $335,120 last
year, or a 55.2% sales gain," Bauer announced. "Gross profit is
expected to be 55% plus, based on preliminary calculations. We are
very excited about this growth, considering that significant
SecureView delivery did not take place until early June." Bauer also
emphasized, "We are essentially a debt-free company, as we have only
trade liabilities and no long term debt."

Thanks Dan,
I'll look into it. Do you know if it has been tested with SecureView? Would be nice to come home and watch a tape just of mini-clip events that took place through out the night/day.
Dear SEVU RnD,
I am no electrician but here is an add-on SecureView component that I think would sell very well:
The component would attach between the Decoder and the VCR.
Have a long enough cable so the component can be set on top of the VCR. Within the component, it is able to detect movement gathered from the SecureView. Don't think this should be hard since motion detector components are cheap. Once movement is detected, the component sends a Record/Play to the VCR. When no movement is detected for a set period of time, the component sends a stop/pause signal to the VCR.
I am not sure if the record/Play signal is standard but these universal remote controls seem to handle it ok. If the Record/Play is an issue, then maybe include a VCR. I’ve seen VCRs if the paper of 59 bucks.
Just brain storming here…
Chris
Sheesh, how can ya forget about Cosco. Huge! One the shelves in Novemeber, right around the holidays. Huge!
Thanks for the response guys. Even with the low numbers I put out, the stock should be trading in the 2-5 dollar range.
Thanks for the reports guys-n-gals. Personally, I am disappointed since the SecureView is not selling like hotcakes.
If the trend remains at the same pace, we are looking at about 1000 secureview's a month. Even if we triple that, still much much lower than I hoped for.
Was there any mention of the PowerCam? That was the product that caught my eye as a serious moneymaker.
So far the new management has not let me down in a professional standpoint. As to sales, time will tell with the new venders aboard.
Again, thanks for the report.
Chris
What's is up gang? Why the silent treatment about the SH's meeting?
This is freaking wierd.
dk76, I think we missed a rocking SH meeting. Nobody is home yet! Wonder if they will be home before breakfast. LOL
I won't make it to the SH meeting but speaking of profits. IF the meeting is held outdoors, may want to pick of a few cases of those water-fan squirt bottles at WalMart. Make a killing at the meeting. LOL
Looking forward to hearing from everyone that attends.
Thank you, been looking for that number for months!
Damn!! Things are really coming together fast!
Keep barking Print, nobody cares about your posts.
Just got my SEVU proxy statement. Nice News!!!! EOM
LOL, Love it!
Heeeee Haaawwww, Good times on the comeback. EOM

SEVU...NAIB is off the ask after selling for over 2 months...lets see if it last...may make for a good entry if you have been watching.
Magic
Yup, lets get real ...
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=SEVU&read=34986
Re overstated revs and earnings...
RTNa(Raytheon) overstated revs and earnings for 4 years that would make what SEVU did look like chump change and the shareholder lawsuit with them got nowhere.
I don't know where your information is coming from but I have a friend who has been a securities lawyer for 20 years with Morrison and Hecker in Kansas City look at the claim. He gave the lawsuit a 1 in 10 chance at even making it to trial. The key being McBride did not materially benefit from the claims in the PRs and yes those disclaimers are as all encompasing as they seem. Things like what happened with SEVU come with the territory of investing in equities and not in government backed securities. It is a shame that it happened but the SEC protects companies from these types of lawsuits with the strong disclaimers. Read them and take them seriously.
No matter what the final O/S count becomes SEVU has a relative low number of O/S when you look around the OTC.
The attitude on this board and with most investors who sold SEVU was an emotional one and the company has a nice bottom from which to grow. The backlog on the corrected books is impressive. Look at the company from the perspective of someone who was not caught up in the hype from Rich and this is a dollar plus company with the products and revenues they have...unfortunatly Rich destroyed investor confidence but that was a fortunate event for a value investor to come in and pick up the broken pieces of a still viable company. McBride has learned his lesson hopefully and now the company can build slowly based on realistic goals and expectations.
I have 20k shares of what I hope will be a hundredk share position.
Magic
Just got back from Vacation. Yup, Florida! So did I miss anything? Have some reading to catch up on.
Has anyone been watching the RB sevu board? So much garbage from both sides of the fence. Unreal.
This board is a freaking relief!
He couldn't even put a secureview together Trusthseeker. You must believe this to be true after the interview with him.
OT :Cracked, there is a pefect play ground for you on RB. Go there and stay there.
Sure. So far I have not seen any broken promises from the new management. I am not sure who mentioned the shares holders meeting in June but if new management PR-ed this and it doesn't happen then ouch, a bad mark. Sports Authority bit. Did SA get their order ... we'll see. Will the production of the new Secureview Camera happen this month .. we'll see. Will they complete the 20k production run ..we'll see. If these things do not happen, then it should set the pattern of what to expect from our new team here on out.
paulmk,
This is the month we'll see if new management is for real or not.
SeaView Underwater Camera and Sports Authority.
I called the corporate office this morning.
The Sports Authority
3383 North State Rd 7
Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33319
Phone: 1-877-872-3909.
I was trying to locate which stores would have the SeaView Underwater cameras for the Father's day bit. According to Sports Authority corporate, they are on order but have not been received or distributed yet.
Doubt we'll see em' out for Father's day but at least the I was able to verify the order.
Chris
Now that is news. Thanks FG. EOM
Not very exciting though ... EOM
News out.
(BSNS WIRE) SeaView CEO Bernardich Recaps First 100 Days
SeaView CEO Bernardich Recaps First 100 Days
Business Editors/High Technology Writers
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 31, 2001--George S.
Bernardich III, CEO of SeaView Video Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:SEVU)
(www.sevu.com) today released the following statement: "It has now
been 100 days since Mike Ambler and Doug Bauer joined me on the
SeaView team, in late February. One hundred days ago, I said our
direction would be simple, focusing first on sales. The list of retail
partners for our SeaView and SecureView products has grown, and will
continue to grow, as our team of sales representatives work to
finalize all of the details necessary to conduct business with these
major partners. There are hundreds of details regarding merchandise
assortment, space planning, open-to-buy, custom packaging, delivery
logistics, EDI communications, advertising and more. These retail
partners will provide the sales growth basis for SeaView both now and
in the future.
"One of our retail partners, SkyMall, Inc., is ready for the
launch of our products in the summer edition of their catalog --
selling to approximately 1.3 million passengers per day. We have been
told we can expect to begin fulfilling orders as early as
June 15, 2001. In addition, we will be featured on their internet site
(www.skymall.com) on a rotating basis in the 3rd quarter.
"Interest continues to grow for our SecureView Parking Lot
Surveillance Package. In addition to the major retailer for whom we
have completed site surveys and a proposal, all of the 'Top 5'
retailers have requested the presentation and samples for review. The
entire system is economical and user-friendly, while including
state-of-the-art SecureView patented IRFS technology, software, and
24 hour digital computer recording. And, our newest advancement is the
ability to expand the system up to 32 cameras.
"Continuing on the sales front, next week begins our direct-mail
launch of SecureView to the 446,000 Bar and Restaurant establishments
in the State of Florida. On average direct mail produces a response
rate between .5% and 1%. The success of this initial mailing will
determine our expansion into this market across the United States.
"Based on these sales initiatives, we obviously accomplished
another goal set forth 100 days ago -- the finalization of SecureView
production and the initial shipping of backorders. Production and
shipping of the initial 20,000 SecureView systems is currently on
schedule.
"I would also like to introduce the newest product addition to the
SeaView Marine Division line. SeaMaster 600 utilizes new camera
technology developed for SeaView, giving us the first underwater
camera with single-chip integration of both color and
infrared-enhanced black-and-white imaging. SeaMaster 600 switches
seamlessly between the two formats, automatically, in response to
lighting conditions. Another benefit is user-controlled digital zoom
using the latest in DSP technology. SeaMaster 600 will be offered in
our 'offshore series' form factor and will eventually replace our
TwinCam at the top of the Marine line.
"In closing, I would like to acknowledge the efforts of the entire
SeaView Team over the past 100 days, and express my appreciation for
all the hard work they have done to make it happen."
