Hope you are right and we are not tricked as Halloween is the 31st.
Amazing. Barclays Capital Inc. and/or one of its affiliates does and seeks to do business with companies covered
in its research reports. As a result, investors should be aware that the firm may have a conflict of interest
that could affect the objectivity of this report.
It is not worth your time and effort. Give them the $9 for the transfer fee and buy the stock.
mpeppy. I agree over the years he/she has been a wealth of factual information regarding this stock. Old he/she is not.
Thank you. I may have bought some of your shares this morning.

WARNING! I too bought today but I confess to have never made any easy money.
A positive decision now by the CAFC would light our roman candle. imho
Postyle. You are more than welcome but I am the one who should be thanking you and the many others for their expertise over the past eleven years in keeping this board up to date regarding our investment. GLTA.
An interesting read or viewpoint on Google and IP. IDCC is mentioned in the article. http://www.businessinsider.com/the-4-big-problems-with-googles-anti-patent-stance-2011-7
I agree and nicely said jm. I would prefer a buyout of the stock. Over the years management has gone home with a lot of money. I have not forgotten the day they took a 9.6 million dollar bonus for signing Samsung and the stock holders were left with a precipitious drop in the price of the stock as the quarterly estimate was off by 3 or 4 cents.
Enjoying the ride up! I wonder how Mr. Roath is coming along with his parking lot.
Another interesting article on Google's need for intellectual patents. IDCC would be a fit for the proposed Plan B. http://paidcontent.org/article/419-why-google-and-android-must-deal-with-the-mobile-protection-racket/
Why the secrecy? Merritt should inform the stock holders it is Matsushita.
Ronnie. Thank you. "It made a difference as to whether IDCC missed consensus earnings estimates or significantly exceeded estimates. Therefore, it needed to be disclosed. One might argue that the $4m dispute in the 3rd quarter might not be material, but by the time the cumulative amount got to $9m in the 4th quarter, it was a material amount." Knowing that the price of the stock would take a big hit in failing to meet its quarterly estimate why would managemnt not disclose the information? This not the first #^%$@* time they have surprised we the stock holders in this manner with similiar results to its price.
Rakitno. Thank you for your explanation. I am sure that the company knew for some time (weeks?)that they were not going to record the 9 million this quarter. Couldn't they had notified the investors (street) that they were not going to record the 9 million they had received this quarter and as a result they would be lowering their forecast. Perhaps on doing so prior to yesterday they would have avoided "our" blood bath.
I wonder how many lurkers, like myself, are still here enjoying the ride up? My thanks to all who have kept me in this stock since 99'. It has not been a smooth ride but the future does seem bright for IDCC.
Intoxicating! "Looking good, feeling good.." My thanks to Nuke John on his article.
Nuke John. I do not believe I should go to bed tonight without first thanking you for your observations and report of what transpired at the court house.
IQ. Thank you for sharing your court observations. An exhausting day for us longs.
Happy holidays to everyone. My sincere thank you to those who have provided their time and expetise over the many years(10)to keep us silent "lurkers" up to date with their investment. Hopefully 2011 is our year though admitedly 2010 was not too shabby.
Ex-dividend date 1/10/10
Dividend date 2/2/10
correct?
I did buy a small amount at 33.15. My request was immediately filled.
Great day for IDCC investors.
Great news today. "Let the good times roll".
Jim. Let me add my thanks for keeping us up todate.
The company should be buying at these prices.
Jim. Thank you.
Amazing good work. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
The natives are anxious for news. There is too little communication from this company whoose stock symbol implies communication. Others have said it better but it is worth repeating that the company needs a PR team that informs the market (investors)as to what is happening with their investment money. Waaaay, Waaaay to secretive for a public trading company. IMO
