Just got a message that Lightwave will publish Q4 2022 earnings, tomorrow, before market open

Keep it up proto, good work.

It would be great if someone could enlighten us, lightwave-investors, about the amount of energy needed purely for datatransmission in a typical datacentre, as a percentage of the total energy consumed by said datacentre.

And while I’m asking, on top of that figure, an educated guess of the cooling costs saved because of the low-temperature operation of the lwlg-modulators.

BlackRock Fund Advisors heeft onlangs aangekondigd een nieuw belang te hebben genomen in Lightwave Logic Inc. (NASDAQ:LWLG). De institutionele belegger heeft zijn belang in het Basic Materials bedrijf met 332,03% verhoogd tot 6,35 miljoen aandelen met aankoop van 4,88 miljoen aandelen. Deze nieuwe investering brengt zijn belang nu op 5,67% ter waarde van $50,62 miljoen. Daarnaast verhoogde The Vanguard Group, Inc. zijn belang met 1,19 miljoen tot 5,69 miljoen aandelen. En SSgA Funds Management, Inc. heeft zijn positie verhoogd met 483,25% of 1,64 miljoen aandelen - tot 1,98 miljoen aandelen.

That’s an awesome plan.

Without having to give away Lightwaves own numbers, calculate, in USD, and today’s energy prices, money potential saved each month for various existing -or typical- datacenters.

So not too rosy moneywise for GF.
That is, until they have become one of the first Lightwave adaptors, that will bring GF straight to the top of their field!

I guess my question is: The 50%, is that per timeframe, or per set amount of data transfered?

Regarding those crypto data centres being shut down,

You would think that a Lightwaves 50% energy-saving, multiplied by 3 times the speed gives those centres a potential 83% energy saving per block mined, no?

3 times 2 is 6, so 1/6th of the energy per set amount of data transferred. Thats 16,666 percent of energy.

..or am I wrong?
