These are good questions. I'd also like more transparent, detailed communication and media releases directly from leadership at the company.
I think the 10 million from this article includes the 5 million announced earlier. The article does mention that 4 towers have been built by Roush and are being deployed for piloting in Maine, the UP, Kansas, and another "yet to be determined" location.
I would also assume that the one mentioned to be deployed to the UP is being deployed in Ishpeming... hopefully that's true.
Progress is progress, however slow and opaque.
If you check Stocktwits it looks like there were a couple people pumping the stock and slapping the ask.
Tweet from Leete (the president of Aradatum).

Dunno about you all...but I'm thrilled.
There's a tad more information on LinkedIn.
I'm not convinced it's the same person - SG is still active on IH - just not on this board.
Either way, Hope Lost strikes me as an insider of some kind. Showed up with a new account and is fiercely defensive of the company. ;) Not unappreciated, but interesting nonetheless.
For myself, I'm hoping we see some official news in the next couples months or so, given the timeline of BZ's potential share sales.
I've been thinking the same thing about the CGEI shares plummeting after the spinoff. But I think we'll have to wait and see.
I also noticed SG took off... curious if he sold his position as well or just taking a break from this board. :)
I've only invested what I can lose, so I'm planning to just be patient for the next year or so and leave it in the hands of the new team. Fingers crossed.
Does anyone know how this actually works?
Do the Aradatum shares just show up in my account?
I've been seeing lots of posts from the Aradatum LinkedIn and Twitter accounts over the past couple weeks. I also got blocked on LinkedIn by the president of Aradatum, presumably for stalking his profile once per day for news. Oops. I'm a little salty about that though.
BUT - they posted a satellite image from Google Earth of their Ishpeming device, which they're calling their "second-generation prototype," if that helps clarify for anyone where they're at with manufacturing and testing these.
This is extremely upbeat news which I had not seen before. Thanks for passing this along!
This is my hope and thinking as well. Another potential catalyst, besides the spinoff, is the Biden infrastructure plan, which should get announced next week. Supposedly includes a big emphasis on 5G and rural broadband... as well as the obvious climate-related priorities. Seems like a sweet spot for Aradatum.
Are you referring to the stock price?
Brian filed a Form 144 today to sell shares. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Selling is rarely good, but seems like given the late potentials he could just be preparing for an expected price pop?
Curious to hear others' thoughts...
It's a money game. Big telecom companies don't have a reason to expand into areas they're not already heavily invested in because they won't gain enough customers to make it worth it.
Where I live there's a standoff between two fiber optics companies, so I'm not able to get fiber internet. One of the companies has jurisdiction over the area, but then has no reason to install the infrastructure because there's no competition and there isn't enough demand yet to do it themselves. It behooves them to focus effort on installing the infrastructure elsewhere first, where they'll gain more customers. Meanwhile, the other company (that is based locally) is willing and able to provide service, but barred from building the infrastructure due to the jurisdiction of the other company.
The "people" (us) usually rely on the government to step in and either direct or pay the larger company which has jurisdiction to start building out infrastructure. Then the smaller companies rent the infrastructure to provide service.
My guess is this is why CGE is marketing to smaller companies and rural schools, hospitals, etc. to build their own infrastructure rather than relying on the telecoms... but that's costly. So again, there may need to be a federal funding push to expand infrastructure.
I think that funding will come, so it may be a waiting game and then the hope that CGE's marketing is good enough to nab a few of the contracts.
This 5G product is great for consumers and expanding access. Less good for telecom companies, who couldn't care less about anything other than their bottom line.
Sort of. Starlink requires a satellite dish, which in turn requires the infrastructure to power those satellite dishes. Usually these are purchased directly by customers. Starlink also only boasts speeds from 50-150 mbps and latency of 20-40 ms. As a dish service, it's prone to complications from weather.
Aradatum's 5G tower is self-powered infrastructure that would be built out by telecom companies (rather than individuals). This means access when you're not at home / near your dish. 5G can reach speeds of 20 gbps with an average data rate of 100+ mbps - which is obviously far superior to Starlink's 50-150 mbps - and latency as low as 1 ms. Aradatum's product is also purportedly resistant to all sorts of weather (99.9% uptime).
So... Starlink is in the same industry, but it's junk.
New marketing video released.
Aradatum is a CleanTech telecommunications start-up that has just launched one of the most disruptive applications in physical infrastructure. We can help you take broadband - absolutely anywhere! https://t.co/nXgp9L1D97

I suspect the spin-off is looking to shed weight so investors pile in and provide capital to generate that fully-operational generator.
Bit of a Lordstown Motors/Workhorse Group type situation.
This seems like good news to me! Things are happening.
Sorry, I was referring to the other accounts he's been interacting with. "@Sexyshay69," for example.
Re: Christian-minded team... I know nothing of Bryan or his faith, nor does it really matter to me as long as he's a good person trying to do right by the company and communities it serves.
But, as a Christian-minded person yourself, I'm curious what information you have on what appears to be the CFO's personal Twitter activity?

Whew, that would be something. Depending on the size of the contract maybe? Seems it would be much easier to hit $10 pps on the nasdaq. :)
I'm new here and chiming in to say that I'm buying because I happened upon the 5G turbine announcement. Seems promising. Did some DD and the company seems solid - just hoping for some contracts.
