Hey Dimes, just so you know, I am with you. I understand where you are coming from. It's not like you are digging up information from a decade ago, It's from the last year, therefore, it's recent history. EOT, just because you don't like what they are saying doesn't make it true.
There you go assuming again. Understand that these are trials, not full blown production. Until they ensure that the trials fulfill the desired results they can't go all in. They've done that in the past and the results can be seen with the share price tanking back to 3 cents. It's better for you to just let the PR do the talking then to try to juice it up more than what it is.
I wish the people that were talking to you would talk to the rest of us stock holders, because I no recollection of hearing or reading about what you've stated "With production ongoing throughout Vietnam and products ready to be launched." This statement is probably 6 months out at the least, in my opinion.
Can some one explain to me how Kumar has invaluable expertise in bring a product to commercialization, when that product has never made it to commercialization, at this point in time?
Founder and CEO Kim Thompson expresses enthusiasm about Kumar's inclusion, citing his invaluable expertise in advancing recombinant spider silk commercialization.
It's not idiotic at all. Understand that even if you don't like what WEB has to say, there is way more than just a kernel of truth to his posts. Yes, I agree that there looks to be light coming over the horizon, but I have witnessed all of the tribulations that he has posted. For all of you that are screaming from the mountain tops, "It's finally arrived!!!", we've heard that at least a dozen times. When I see the PR that KBLB has received it's first dollar of revenue, then I will believe that they have turned a corner. "Don't count your chickens until they've hatched".
any news?
I thought I was going to catch a dip and buy at 10 cents, only to see that my next purchase will be back in the 3's. I got caught up in the hype, again.
News - Don't we already have a multimillion dollar contract with Mthemovement for silk product? Or, did this go away because they lost confidence in KLB's ability to deliver?
If a picture is worth a thousand words. what did you glean from this picture that Kim and the others were holding some silk. Where did the silk come from(US or Vietnam)? How much did the sample weigh? Was it from the latest version of hybrid worms, or was it the accumulation of silk from this year? Inquiring minds want to know.
Did having a shareholder meeting serve a purpose for a 10 cent, 20 cent, 30 cent, 40 cent, or 50 cent stock? I want to know what is happening within a company that I partially own.
I found it very frustrating when I learned that Kim and possibly a few others decided, since they had the majority of shareholder votes, that they would go ahead and vote on something without letting the rest of the shareholders know about it. If something requires a vote, then let everyone that is eligible vote on the subject.
Advocating.
I would be one of those he is advocating for. Yes, I would also like to see an Annual Shareholder meeting.
Vietnam is north of the equator, just like the US. So they are on the same seasonal rotation. Since Vietnam is closer to the equator they will have less of a temperature change then we have here in the US. It's not like they are down near Australia and their seasons are opposite to that in the US.
This sounds more like people at UND are pissed that Kim has boggled this so badly. They probably came to him and demanded their people be put on the team, so that this can hopefully be resurrected before the Chinese are able to bring it to market first.
I think the gold is a type of payment bond, probably required by the Vietnam government. The Government doesn't want some fly-by-night company coming in professing they will create a huge new industry, only to slink out in the middle of the night with out paying their rent and contractors.
If you have no proof of someone being a paid basher or pumper, then don't say it. Just understand there is a kernel of truth in what they are saying. The bigger the kernel, the more they are able to sway others in their direction. It is the companies responsibility to counter the bashers arguments by providing proof otherwise. I myself have become disgruntled in the latter years due to inefficiencies and setbacks in company created timelines. KBLB, I have been an investor for more than a decade. If you want more of my money, then give me a reason to give it to you.
How will this affect the shares I currently hold in BLEG?
It's about 3 months since the last relevant K Labs PR -
Fluff - Over 2000 texts in the last 2 or so days that amount to nothing. It's all hype, good and bad. There is no guarantee that K-Labs will get anything, primarily because they can't prove anything. This is just a big distraction for all of you to get off of their case about little to no production at this point.
PEMBROOK1, you're probably right about the reason. It's the total number increase that caught me off guard. Going from 900million to 1.5Billion is a nice jump.
Turd just hit the fan, take cover!
What the hell. The new leadership just jumped out like this was a burning building.

I found where you are right and I was wrong on this part. My question now is - Why or how was this attribute lost in the initial production at this facility? In many company PR's they identify they have been in PRODUCTION (probably low scale), has this not been seen before? What's different this time?
LANSING, Mich., March 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of advanced spider silk based fibers, announced today that its genetically engineered spider silk, Monster Silk(TM), production program has more than doubled in productivity.
During the pilot production program, the yield rate of viable silk cocoons was approximately 30%. At those rates, the cost structure warranted the conversion of the pilot test program to a much larger scale.
The latest reports from the current production ramp up point to a dramatic and unexpected increase in yield to 70%; more than double the output efficiency shown during the pilot phase.
The initial assessment from the Company’s scientific team is that the Monster Silkworms(TM) are acclimating to the production environment.
“This dramatic boost in productivity was a surprise to us. Our plan was to methodically increase productivity rates over the next 18 months. Our team had drawn up plans that included selective breeding and cross breeding to achieve those goals. To see such a remarkable gain in so short a time was beyond our expectations. The obvious benefits, should these rates continue, would include reduced production costs and reduced ramp up time,” said Company Founder and CEO, Kim K. Thompson.
Caught? It was designed to be that way. The Chinese have been doing it for years. No one can breed the eggs we send to the contractor. It is by no means a flaw or incompetence. It is the exact opposite.
Really, lets break down this paragraph in the PR -
Best practices employed by the most advanced silkworm egg production facilities include utilizing a multi-line cross-mating protocol to generate increased robustness.
This is the first time we are hearing about this BEST PRACTICE. It obviously was a know issue in the industry. Why weren't they already following this practice from the beginning. How many more BEST PRACTICES are they not following that may cause delays further in the future?
The result of first-generation cross-matings yield larger cocoons and more resilient silkworm offspring.
Kraigs described a few years ago how they were able to increase the size of the cocoons through genetic manipulation utilizing Knock in - knock out technology. Was this not enough to get the desired sizes? Doe's this technology weaken the species?
As these increased performance attributes only last one generation, it is vital that central silkworm egg production operations sustain each of these separate lines in order to create successive generations of hybrid crosses.
Also, a few years ago, Kraigs was very happy that their genetic manipulation had passed through many (I believe they said at least 5) generations of offspring in the lab. The attributes they listed in this PR only lasting in one generation was definitely not expected, nor desired. They were trying to get away from this kind of problem because it is more expensive. So, your explanation about they did it this way to keep it out of the hands of the Chinese holds water about as well as a sieve.
As these increased performance attributes only last one generation, it is vital that central silkworm egg production operations sustain each of these separate lines in order to create successive generations of hybrid crosses.
Why wasn't this caught in the lab? There should have been several test runs where proper QC should have discovered this flaw. Somebody dropped the ball and cost this company a few million dollars in lost (potential) revenue, and continued delays.
And, my prediction in my previous posting was not a dooms day scenario. It's just an observation of continued incompetency.
Yeah, Management knew they were going to take one on the chin for this news. With everyone talking about burn rates, and now this news comes out, I don't see them getting any profits anytime soon. I'd say they will be in need for more loans in 3-4 months. looking at this info, my guess is the stock is heading back down to the 3's soon.
"Expects".. as in, oops, we expected it, but it never happened. So sorry.
I believe the expectation in the statement referred to immediately beginning operations with the contractor. This did happen. The part where they identified the production levels was grossly overstated.
Don't get me wrong; I do believe in the product, science behind it, and the possibilities for future revenues. But, as you can see in the many previous posts, the stockholders in this company are begging for production news, and the management team is silent on this topic. If you want more investors, then you need to give them news on production. I sold shares in this company so that I could buy shares in companies that are more forthcoming with their information.
I don't see this company becoming Nasdaq eligible for at least 5+ more years by the way they are going right now.
No production details have ever been given and concluding that they would have been given under any set of circumstances is flawed.
[July 18, 2022] The Company expects to immediately begin operations with this contractor producing hundreds of kilograms of spider silk per month and to achieve production levels reaching multiple metric tons of spider silk per month as early as the first quarter of 2023.
Therefore, I beg to differ.
[Buying KBLB right now is a smart thing to do, IMHO. Some of my friends have followed my lead and bought more.]
Back in June when you were telling us all the smart thing to do was hold on to the GOLDEN, I wish you would have said, "Dump your shares before the toxic loan shark dumps theirs and takes this stock down to 3 pennies land."
Then I guess I would have more money to buy into this company.
All I know with dealing with this management team is to be a lot more conservative with their itinerary. If they say it will be days away, then it'll most generally be many weeks from now. If they say weeks, then think months. And finally, if they say months, then you probably should be thinking at least a year, if not two.
I'm also thinking similarly with their proposed production rate. If they say they're ramping up production, then I'm thinking "they must be thinking about sending eggs to the producers". If they say, "We received product from the producer, but it wasn't as much as we were hoping for", well then that tells me somebody screwed up and dropped the ball during QC and QA.
[It was less than we expected. It’s like
Instead of %95 we got %70]
What if it was more like instead of 95%, and we got 5%. Nobody knows, because they didn't tell us.
Why is US production only now getting started. I believe KBLB purchased equipment prior to going to Vietnam that would allow them to increase their US production. Has this equipment been sitting idly by gathering dust while they went all in in Vietnam?
I may not have many shares, but I’ll sign up my 141,000 towards a shareholder meeting. It seems like since they have a majority number of shares they can just hold a meeting in private and vote how they want instead of holding public meetings and see how we all think. Once he went public with this company, so that he could get share holder money, he has an obligation to inform us of what this company is doing, good or bad.
For now, it looks like KBLB has paid back ~ $2.575 MILLION so far (out of $3 MILLION)
I understand where you are going with this. But, to be clear, KBLB didn't pay back this debt, the shareholders did. I am over $8,000.00 in the red with KBLB stock.
KBLB did not make a single cent of revenue that went towards paying this debt off.
