Popping to the Hotel for some ice cream?
Well NSNS you may be "popping to the hotel" to grab some pints of your favorite Nighttime Snack if the current trial blows up the points of distribution?
I wonder what the reception desk would think if you walk into the lobby - off the street - and grab 3-4 pints of Nightfood?
I understand the Hotel trial has been extended to a "phase 3". Hopefully this is the final phase? The CEO of #NGTF mentioned on another site said the trial has been extended from 6 weeks, to 3 months and now maybe 6 months?
Even with only a "handful of locations", the more product that has been given by Nightfood for the trail, the more that sells, the larger the number of hotel placements will eventually be......IMO?
We will just have to wait and see.......
Sleep Quality Matters
The longer the pandemic goes on the more people appreciate the power of a good nights sleep. I have been enjoying Nightfood ice cream (at night before bed primarily) with no disruption to my sleep since March of 2019.
Sure - I am an investor in this company - but that is because I am also “a believer”that you can “have your cake and eat it too”.
I went without ice cream for literally decades - because the sugar and fat just screwed up my ability to sleep.
And because I know that sugar alcohols wreak havoc on my “stomach” - I have stayed away from any ice cream that contains them.
Looking forward to the video reaching 100k views as the word spreads that we now have better options in Nighttime Snacks.

Old News
Apologies for the "old news" this morning. I removed the post.
Nightfood: Pioneering the Night Snacks Category
Just part of the reason I have invested in #NGTF....from the recent PR on 07.21.21
Over 80% of Americans snack regularly at night, resulting in an estimated 700 million nighttime snack occasions weekly, and an annual spend on night snacks of over $50 billion. The most popular choices are ice cream, cookies, chips, and candy. Recent research confirms these snacks, in addition to being generally unhealthy, can impair sleep due to excess fat and sugar consumed before bed.
Nightfood is pioneering the category of night snacks. Nightfood ice cream, the brand’s first mainstream product, is uniquely formulated by sleep and nutrition experts to contain less of those sleep-disruptive ingredients, along with a focus on ingredients and nutrients that research suggests can support nighttime relaxation and better sleep quality.
Food for Thought?
All Ice Cream has small levels of Trytophan
Walmart and the APA likely know that our ice cream contains tryptophan, because most people are smart enough to know that anything with milk contains tryptophan.
It is an essential amino acid, and is in (I think) not just any milk products, but also anything with protein (which women are encouraged to eat MORE of during pregnancy)
Thanks for the post Notshakenorstirred
Domestic Travel - BOOM!!
If you look into New Zealand and Australia's domestic travel in the summer and early fall of 2020 - you will see that when people cannot easily travel abroad they will travel internally within their own countries. Americans will do the same this year IMO.
Getting anyone to try a new product is half the battle.
Let's face it - we all tend to "try something new" when we are on vacation.
With the 1000+ Walmart locations these new customers will have easy access to Nightfood whenever they want and not just on a trip with their families or when on a business trip?
"We are also rolling into Hotels"
NSNS I like what Sean says at 31'50" of this facebook video.
"we are also rolling into Hotels...."
"I believe we are going to be...."
"What I think people are going to start to see...."
This is not public confirmation of the results of the Hotel trial - but a reminder to investors that the Hotel positioning is very much "on the cards" for 2021.
100% Eric - P42 - Disruptive - Conversation Starter
I could not agree with you more about P42.
Raising public awareness to Better-for-you Nighttime snacking that is Sleep-Friendly is exactly what the Nightfood CEO wanted with Pickles for Two.
Nightfood is committed to helping consumers experience quality sleep.
What you eat or drink makes a difference - but sadly most are blissfully unaware?
Pickles for two is a brilliant "SFI" (Sean Folkson Idea) that captures peoples attention to the brand that is Nightfood. #NGTF.
Those on this board that are trying to build "tangled webs of deception" will eventually be silenced by sound of success.
Long Live P42!!!
Think beyond traditional snacks
https://lodgingmagazine.com/four-things-hoteliers-should-know-about-grab-and-go-fb/
From the article in the above link in the LodgingMagazine;
Having options like mixed nuts and chips makes sense in a grab-and-go market, but Falgoust recommends including other options as well. “We actually found a source that lets us put together small charcuterie plates and cheese boards. We also have good quality sandwiches, salads, and even grain and quinoa bowls. Travelers want to have a nice meal, even if they can’t have it in your hotel’s restaurant.”
IMO;
After a "nice meal".....what do we all want...ice cream!!
Soon, Very Soon...Hotels...Grab and Go
Just as Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts wants to sell you an "egg sandwich" or some "avocado toast" with your coffee - Hotels across America are working to improve their Total Revenue per Available Room (TRevPAR)
Hotels, like any service business, are looking for ways to have each customer increase their "average spend" per visit - because we all know (on this board especially) how "the pennies add up"?
This June 24th article on NGTF (yes....it is paid for and part of the companies marketing) continues to build on the idea that it is more likely than not that Nightfood has a "foot in the freezer" at a large number of American Hotels.
https://www.newmediawire.com/news/nightfood-helping-america-rest-easier-one-scoop-at-a-time-5278852
"Even better, you can find it at your local Walmart, Albertson’s, Kroger and any number of other grocery retailers. Nightfood has now secured distribution in almost 2,000 stores across the country. And soon, you may even see it in the lobby grab-and-go shop in your hotel on your next business trip.
AAIMO landing 5000+ hotels will be transformational for Nightfood - and just the starting point of becoming a "legacy brand" in the 15,000+ Hotels in the Industry here in the US.

OB/NF.....It has only just begun!
Like we discussed earlier in the posts here on Investorshub the OB/GYN community marketing efforts by Nightfood has only been active for a few weeks?
IMO we are only a few months away from seeing the full development and sales from the OB/NFC (Obstetrics Nightfood Fan Club).
The best ice cream to eat while pregnant?
According to the APA;
Nightfood Nighttime Ice Cream is the Official Ice Cream of the American Pregnancy Association because it includes more protein plus prebiotic fiber, digestive enzymes, amino acids and a special mineral blend that includes magnesium and calcium. They also include glycine to help suppress acid reflux, prevent sugar spikes and make it more sleep-friendly. Because it also has less sugar, fat, and calories, it’s more waistline-friendly too.

Either we have nothing better to do....or this Nightfood ice cream is about to blow up?!?
Maybe we should go have a beer (or a glass of wine)...because someone on this board needs to get a life?
Happy 4th People.
Walmart is only one angle for NGTF
Don't get me wrong, having NGTF in 1040 Walmart stores is a sign that this ice cream is legit!
I get the feeling the team at NGTF would have been thrilled at 500 stores.....so the fact that Walmart offered them double that (almost a quarter of their total locations) is HUGE!!
That being said.....IF (and I stress IF) the team at NGTF manages to land the hotel deal of more than 5000+ locations then we are "off to the races"....the "brush fire will be uncontained"?!?
We all know that "Haters gonna hate"...it is all they have?
I picked up a couple of Bed & Breakfast at Walmart in Northern Chicago yesterday....I am undecided on this flavor...maybe a little sweet for Kiwikid?
Let the volume predict the news
It is only a matter of time before the investors in NGTF will receive the news that we are looking for with the hotels.
This news will hopefully make the Walmart distribution look like nothing?
Gaining acceptance and Brand recognition in 5000+ hotels (of just one Global Hotel Chain) will be a catalyst to others.
I have my position locked in with NGTF so FOMO is not a concern.

NGTF - On Sale - Love it!
NGTF is not only on sale as a stock - but also as a product at Jewel-Osco - as we work to entice new customers to buy a pint at a discount of $3.99.
It is only a matter of weeks before all product sold in the retail space will be the new packaging.

The country’s most famous chocolate company spent $425 million buying a Colorado maker of “better-for-you” treats — the second time in two years it shopped for healthier options in the local candy aisle.
I am sure that Unilever and/or Mondelez know about Nightfood ice cream.
Coming to a hotel lobby near you!!
I am not the only investor who waits with baited breath for the news on the hotel test and potential national roll-out.
Surely this is will be released in the next 3-4 months?
Nightfood has been one of the only products included for the entire 3 months of the test according to the CEO of NGTF in the recent press release.
IF (And I mean IF) they secure the 5000+ hotels it will be the start of something VERY BIG.
As long as the share price stays above $0.2294 I am seeing green!
NGTF/Brand/Emerging Category/Pandemic - $0 to $1M
This company that has generated over $1M in sales, while this country (and the world) struggles with a pandemic?
Imagine Nightfood sales during a normal business cycle?
Growing a brand into an emerging category of food could be perhaps compared to "developing suntan lotion before learning about skin cancer".
When Global CPG companies (like Unilever) announce major investments into food and it's affect on sleep - you know that you are in the right ball park.
Bases loaded people.....bases loaded.

Bushfires start with a single spark;
Sean Folkson continues to receive comments like this from NGTF customers
"I deeply love the night food! It's nice to not feel guilty about ice cream and knowing it's also not harmful to my little bun cooking. I didn't like the pickle flavor at all, but my 6 year old absolutely loved it so none went to waste. I've already recommended it to every mom I know and talked about it at my OBGYN office."
Word will spread like a bushfire…..we just need a strong gust in the hotel space for this to get out of control!!!!

THE NIGHTFOOD HOTEL OPPORTUNITY
Page 15 of Investor Deck
• One of the world’s largest hotel brands is currently conducting a three-month test of Nightfood in their “grab-and-go” lobby shops. Management expects the test to be successful.
• A successful test is expected to lead to a rapid rollout into thousands of hotel points of distribution through the testing chain, and then other major chains.
• This type of “non-traditional” retail placement can be a tremendous growth driver:
• More profitable - No slotting fees, no need to run ads or price discounts to drive sales
• High visibility & consideration – Unlike supermarkets, hotel freezers typically have just a few brand and flavor options to choose from. Nightfood will be in the consideration set of every hotel ice cream customer.
• We expect our unique SLEEP-FRIENDLY messaging to drive significant trial in hotels
• Getting consumers to trial a new brand is one of the largest food & beverage launch challenges. Hotel distribution solves that for Nightfood. Consumers who try Nightfood in hotel setting will then look for it at their local supermarket
We were told that it was a "test" that took place in a handfull of locations. This test was at least a 3 months long that included assessing sales velocity with other brands along side that of Nightfood and sales where Nightfood was alone in the hotel.
I imagine that we will hear something by the end of May?
I am not 100% sure that the test has even ended?
100%
I know of a private company that has over $1,000,000 in revenue in the first quarter this year - with 90% of sales coming from mothers who are nursing (all on-line sales).
We are only a week or so into our most recent major marketing effort with the OB/GYN's - it may take a quarter or two before we see the impact on sales.
Results of the Hotel test and potential roll-out to over 5000 locations in my mind is not only the next layer of transformation - but the proverbial game changer to Nightfood.
Anyone who understands the challenges of retail, with slotting fees and unbelievable competition, will appreciate the magnitude of gaining placement in a location that specializes in offering a good nights sleep.
IF we can the hotel placement.....to da moon!!!

I consider my investment in NGTF to be delectable and NOT soggy as the article describes.
Nightfood in my opinion (well actually my tastebuds opinion) is a brand that is worthy of mention as it is a disruptive brand, that in time, will be the leader in Nighttime Nutrition.
This article from Crunchbase makes in clear that not all start ups are successful;

Project 37% increase in Ice Cream Sales
Paytronix Projects Sweet Summer with 37% Lift in Ice Cream Sales
Memorial Day Weekend Saw 74% Boost in Relative Sales over 2020
June 15, 2021 09:00 ET | Source: Paytronix Systems Inc.
NEWTON, Mass., June 15, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Just in time for National Ice Cream Month in July, Paytronix Systems, Inc., the most advanced digital guest experience platform, released data that projects a hot summer of sales for America’s favorite cool treat after Memorial Day Weekend saw a 74% growth in relative ice cream sales over 2020.
Consumers show their ice cream love each Memorial Day, with weekend sales stacking up significantly higher than the daily average between January and May. This year Memorial Day Weekend daily average sales jumped to 140% of the 2021 daily average. Things weren’t so sweet a year ago, when sales over the same period in 2020 sat at just a 123% of the daily average, a significant melting from 2019 sales.
Further key insights from Paytronix include:
If 2021 sales follow past years’ trends, this summer will see sustained weekend ice cream sales at about 137% of the 2021 daily average between January and May.
The last year to see sustained summer sales that high was 2018, when weekend summer sales were also 137% of the daily average for the first half of the year.
The boost in Memorial Day Weekend sales in 2020 was only 50% of the boost in sales seen over the same weekend in 2019.
Sales on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday throughout the summer of 2020 sat at about 129% of the daily average for the first half of the year, despite COVID-19 restrictions.
“It’s typical to see bigger ice cream sales in the summer, but we didn’t see the same holiday weekend boost last year as consumers were exercising precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Lee Barnes, Director, Paytronix Data Insights. “Data from this year suggests consumers are ready to take advantage of this summer as restrictions are lifted, including visiting their favorite restaurants, and, of course, enjoying some ice cream. And if you're coming by the office, you can bring me a cone of Cappuccino Crunch.”
Methodology
The projections and findings in this release were pulled from Paytronix transactional data across more than a dozen ice cream clients on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays between Jan. 1, 2018 and May 31, 2021.

Highlights of Shareholder Letter
1. “Tangible category interest from some of the largest food companies in the world“
2. “recognized growing market appetite”
3. “The reports we receive show that sell-through has increased each and every week since launch” (Walmart)
4. “We are encouraged by the numbers and our trajectory”.
5. “We were notified the week of June 1st by our corporate contact at the chain that they were entering “Phase 3” of their test as of the first week of June. Along with that update, additional Nightfood pints continue to be requested for the ongoing testing, with the most recent request coming yesterday, June 15th. We view these signs as positive. As we await a formal indication of results, preliminary feedback has been strong, including the specific feedback that the introduction of our new packaging in hotel freezers in March provided an increase in sales volume”
6. “In anticipation of a successful hotel test and forthcoming launch, we have secured a secondary initiative with additional hospitality distributors to have Nightfood samples sent to hundreds of independent hotels in the coming weeks. This opportunity comes at no cost to our Company other than the cost of the sample pints, as these Nightfood samples will be included with paid frozen orders already shipping to those properties by the distributors.”
7. “With the possibility of top-down corporate implementation and existing distributor access to an extensive hotel network, we are excited about the possibility of Nightfood in the freezers of the estimated 15,000+ hotel locations in the U.S. that sell ice cream in their lobby shops”
8. The Company is in the process of expanding its Board of Directors. Establishing an esteemed, independent Board is an important step in elevating our corporate status and is also a pre-requisite for uplisting to a major exchange

Updated Investor Deck - Walmart / Hotels / Chicken Dinner
For any you that are LONG NGTF - maybe take a few minutes to click on the link above in the intro that I posted this morning. It will take you to the updated investor deck for Nightfood Holdings.
I would direct you to page 14 & 15 and leave it up to you to draw your own conclusions?!?
If you have not seen this before the entire deck is very informative - but what stood out to me were the additions of the hotels that have been added below the supermarkets as targets.
IMO the results of the "3 months Hotel test" will be released at some time in the near future - arguably the biggest PR of the year (if/when it actually happens).
IMO if Nightfood can land the Hotel placement (with a national roll-out of 5000+ hotels) then we all get a "chicken dinner"
And when I get my chicken dinner some will develop that "pit in your stomach feeling" that in "pennyland" we call FOMO.
All of this is not investment advise and purely my opinion.
I am LONG NGTF
