Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know that the registration of shares for sale could expire.
is that the amendment then? that they can sell them immediately?
ROCKY:
I assume these filins have to do with the stock compension for Gary Rapin Rabin and Lanza? WOuld appreciate you shedding some light.

TIA.
not enough time has elapsed yet.
the revenue decrease wasn't expected? Heck, I expected ZERO revenues.
What % do you give toward the possibility that a RS will happen? I only see it not happening if the "partner" brings oodles of money to the table and assuming that rabin doesn't pocket most of it himself.
would you like me to hold your hand, pat your head and tell you it will be alright? Will that make you feel better little boy?
I woner if Cha's first injections will have more or the same level of RPE cells injected as in the US trials and whether the first patients' visions are as far gone as in the US trials. Since Cha is looking to complement their data with US data, I would hope that they are looking at a different larger dosage at least.
Also, I don't believe Cha's license for this therapy gives it exclusivity in Korea -- I think it was only for the blood cells.
There is so much chatter here and on other msg boards regarding the large float. Here's the skinny:
The OS is almost at the AS.
Without funding from partnerships or substantial revenues, the company will be forced to raise money either by securing financing(preferably non-dilutive which is doubtful without revs to support operations) or by selling equity stake.
So a RS followed by increasing the AS and dilution will become necessary if no partners emerge who want to buy a portion of potentially SUBSTANTIAL future revs.
What's the likelihood of this worst case scenario? Depends on how good the results are from the phase I/II trials.
Its just the same things said before regarding the safety trials. Nothing is expected, but the best is hoped for. Nothing new or refreshing in that article for me. It would be unethical to tell the patients that they can expect their vision to improve (even though its been evidenced with the rats) particularly when the dosage is a relatively small amount. Still, if enough RPE cells anchor, then its biologically possible for improved vision. But then, that's what we're expecting with the latter phases of the trials. Biological improvement. The difference being that the latter patients will have less vision impairment to begin with and more cells. How much difference do these factors make? Its easy for me to see why the latter makes a big difference, but I am not learned about the former.
I think it all comes down to whether the eyes in these first patients are capable of hosting the RPEs. Its implied that patients with less vision loss will better hosts the RPE cells. Obviously if none of the RPE cells find anchor, then no improvement can be expected. Also, this approach isn't a cure...more of a therapy that needs to be repeated every so often untill the root cause of the disease can be treated. This is actually good news for heartless investors since it means recurring revs.
reduction in OS would help, but isn't necessary. Neither is a RS. The market space that ACTC is in is easily big enough to support the OS. The only question is if ACTC will need to raise funds itself for future growth even after successful trial results.
Rocky, the $1-$10 push is also manipulation. Obviously its not the typical retail investor that is going to move the PPS. If it were, we'd be well north of $0.18 by now. The pps will move higher when the big money manipulators decide to do so. It may or may not coincide with institutional investors, but either way, no one should dismiss manipulation.
Not true. Trial results showing substantial improvement in vision of AMD & SMD followed by a partnership will move pps.
No, I got it. You missed the point of my post.
Institutional investors would be just that. Investors. Individual or groups with lots of money are the perpetrators manipulating actc. Right now their goal is to keep the pps depressed frustrating and exhausting weak minded longs and traders. When they decide to turn it the other way, don't be surprised to see them push it to $1+ or $10+. All depends on how greedy they are and what they think they can get away with. The market is gamed and for all the front put up by the SEC. Sooner people recognize this the better off they are. I'd rather encourage both eyes be open than believing otherwise.
Ka-chow!
Wow! You're excitement actually showed thru in your post!
hard to set a negative tone amongst all this good news and pending news. They are having a difficult time. They will have to try harder and hope that a big buyer doesn't show up out of nowhere to ruin their plans.
You're the best rocky. Ka-chow! :)
I'd like to know what other companies you're invested in.
Anyone contact the company to congratulate them on the orphan drug status designation? I tried the IR contact listed on the website, but he wasn't in.
Rabin needs to go. Otherwise that leech will just continue to weasle as many free shares into his pocket as he can get away with before he gets ousted.
So some for lanza and some for the new c level exec. Rabin said what again? Two met and interviewed and a third person to be?
It will be great if they tell us how the revenues are to be split. But I doubt they will. This is what I was specifically referring to.
You'll find out when they've finalized the terms of the deal. On second thought, they probably won't provide the specifis.
$2B annually. Otherwise, you need to qualify your question son. Its too general. Provide some parameters.
We're already in the middle of a manipulation scheme. Here's the scenario:
Say I am the guy who ran the PPS in that zig zag patter where the pps went from 0.27 to 0.13 to 0.22 to 0.14 to etc. I have millions of shares and millions of dollars.
First, I begin by significantly shorting (on a daily volume basis) two days in a row into good, but not surprising news. It puts a cap on any significant upward movement and puts the weak minded retail investors and traders on notice. Then follow up with heavy selling with owned shares driving the pps down to create the perception that something is wrong and momo is heading the other way.
Question now is should I follow up with a more pronounced effort to turn the herd? Will it be worth the effort?
Let's face it. If this does get turned around, it'll be because retail investors and traders see that a big hand is gonna take it down and sell in order to pick up cheaper shares. I've got my bid in with all my available cash to pick up shares between $.15 and $.16. Come on manipulators! Give it to me! I'll gladly take it!!!!
Exactly rocky. And if/when Actc finds itself negotiating from a position of strength, no reason why any more shares need to be issued to hurt shareholders who have supported this company thru the worst times. Only thing to worry about now is the greed of individuals in the company. Not speaking about anyone specific.
Have you seen the video in which Cramer talks about how to manipulate the perception of a company? What he describes may be being carried out by this blogger. I'd want confirmation of what was said in this supposed phone interview before giving this blogger any credit. He could be telling the truth, but how do we know he hasn't qualified his question to the Dr. With a statement like... by treatment, I'm not asking about safety, but where enough stem cells are being injected to provide a measurable expected outcome? The answer to which might be when 200k cells are injected at the later part of this phase 1/2 test.
If you're that concerned, short the market.
A link that works. Inspirational if nothing else.

Traders have no game.
How much profit would a trader need to make to justify risking thousands of dollars in base cost on a penny stock? For example, with $5k (or ~25k shares at 0.20 per share), on a swing of the spread, on the current spread of 0.0018, (0.2019 - 0.2001) you'd earn 44.98 less commission (for Ameritrade, that's $19.98 round trip) leaving you $25 net. so....50k shares earns you $50, 100k shares earns you $100. Whopping 500k shares traded thus far today. INVESTORS are holding. Sign of a significant move coming either way with a bias towards price appreciation imo.
It's Friday! Enjoy the weekend. Do yourself a favor and hold a few shares over the weekend in case news comes out pre-market Monday morning.
Excellent. So my understanding is that as soon as the first patient is enrolled, the trial begins! No need to all three patients to make up the first cohort!?!
If so, I can't imagine it being much longer before the first patient is injected.
I wonder if all three patients for each cohort have to be enrolled before the first of them gets injected or will they begin trial as soon as possible with the first enrollee while enrollment of others continues. Gawd, I hope they don't have to enroll all 12 patients before they get started.
I liked the highlight on slide 6 of the presentation.

Any idea when the European commission meets?
Thanks.
@rocky
When is next European Orphan drug meeting?
Odd. Wouldn't the trials be completed by October?
Isn't there an EU IND meeting coming up in a week or two?
Nothing but time and money keeping ACTC from BANK-ing as many differentiated cells derived using their patented blastomere procedure!!
Everyone will know to get their differentiated cells without ethical controversy surrounding destroyed embryos from Roslin!
Others who want to bank there with their own differentiated cell lines will have to have come used ACTC's patented Blastomere procedure!! Royalties baby!!!
Holy "stem cells" Batman!!
Would the cells be undifferentiated or differentiated or both?
