NO. Europe is completely separate from the USA. We have like 10 year regulatory exclusivity in Europe.
Moreover, even if Hikma tries to challenge the REDUCE-IT patents, that is a minimum 4 to 5 year process. Litigation takes a long time. Also, that will not be in front of a judge. No way Amarin would do a judge trial again and it would not be in Nevada.
We are days away from 2022...a 4 to 5 year process you are already nearing the end of the REDUCE-IT patents.
And we have not even gotten into the merits of the argument.
Perspective is KEY.

Larrybirdlegend--you still out there? You have been quiet as of late....
Fully vaccinated but have not gotten a booster as of yet.
Thanks for posting this.
Lemm are they checking vaccine cards or requiring masks in casinos or nightclubs in Vegas? Was invited on a fellas trip there but debating if I should go with covid surging and I have a young kid at home.
Appreciate any intel.
Abstract 10712: Mrna COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test

Can any medical professionals or scientists weigh in on this? Is this credible?
But do we have a competent Board of Directors? they may continue to allow this company to GIA
company should have been sold this year around approval in Europe
i hope Sarissa replaces these jokers. they need to be tossed out.
Yep I saw that. And Merck touted this like it was such a huge success. Smh.
Looks like covid is not going anywhere and our covid (prepare it) trial was underfunded. You cannot make this stuff up. If we had a competent Board, this would be clear evidence that we could accomplish more in the hands of a BP. Just imagine had covid shown what the carido link trial did.
Therapeutics are key.
No clue. Need others to weigh in here.....
Vascepa 2.0--it's worth reviewing TerraPharma's tweet on this back in 2020. I wonder if this is the lifecycle mgmt product/drug that KM hinted at and others have surmised on this board.
🔥UPDATE🔥 Vascepa 2.0 candidate with partner Mochida (developer of Epadel) phase 2 was apparently a success as they have just announced a Phase 3 for the once daily, self emulsifying new epa formula product (MND-2119). $AMRNhttps://t.co/JtxpE8oUXV

Jan $5 strike puts--1,450 contracts today. Any idea if this is bullish or bearish? Not sure if someone sold this to generate premium or bought this thinking stock will be a lot lower than $3.60 (think these sold for $1.40.
Thoughts?
The issue is the media. Thus far they have "drowned" out or not mentioned this. On all social media too things are labeled misinformation.
Sign of the times I guess.
Do you think PFE knows ("acknowledges") this?
Can you share the twitter name?
what's his twitter handle?
LBL--you still out there? You witnessing what is going on?
52 week lows
Thanks. I hope it gets published soon then.
Journal Publication--Any chance it comes this year? With holidays approaching are we losing our window. Wondering if this gets pushed out till next year. Would hate for it to not be noticed over holidays.
If raising cash was on the table, why not do the offering when the stock was higher earlier this year?
Only a fool would raise cash at these depressed prices and with $500 mm of cash on hand.
At least JT pumped up the revenue / outlook prior to raising cash at $18. I believe his pump took the stock to $22/$23 or so.
You should listen to the Piper Sandler video posted on Amarin's site.
Karim hinted at this life cycle mgmt thing. Said it's not necessarily about acquiring a drug.
Lifecycle mgmt--KM mentioned it several times toward the end of the fireside chat with Piper Sandler. Link on Amarin's website.
Piper Sandler webinar--I recommend everyone watch the latest video with KM. It is on Amarin's website.
Karim clearly understands the problem and what is going on at the retail pharmacy with the swap of the generic. He mentioned Amarin has the data on infringement when a generic is being substituted and used with a statin. That's clear infringement on the CV indication. They didn't have this data before but they have it now.
Karim - spoke directly about damages. Oh boy.
What I don't know if Karim understands this problem could be solved with the weight / leverage of a big pharma with the FDA.
Larrybirdlegend---you surprised with where we are trading here?
Looks like another year gone.
Thanks!
Activist Funds--who are the major ones:
Pershing Square, Elliott Management, BVF, Sarissa, Icahn,....
Who are the others?
Sarissa Capital--I believe we will see a 13D filing from them soon indicating they have gone over 5%.
He gets involved when companies have been mismanaged. That is his MO. This recent ownership stake is a warning shot to management and the BOD.
Read this article on Novartis's $10 BN acquisition of The Medicines Company. https://biotechnologycommunity.com/md_news/novartis-strikes-9-7b-takeover-of-medicines/
Alex Denner was behind this.
Look at how much revenue it was expected The Medicine's Company drug inclisiran would generate (see below). Novartis is flushed with cash right now.
"But the deal appears to assume inclisiran will generate more than $2 billion in annual sales, according to a note to investors from Umer Raffat at Evercore ISI, because The Medicines Company splits profits from the medicine with the biotechnology firm Alnylam, which originally invented it. Inclisiran is a type of cholesterol drug called a PCSK9 inhibitor."
Does the Novartis CEO know about Amarin?
I wonder if Alex will let him know.
LBL why do you think Bakers sold off some of their stake? Wouldn’t they want to hold if things are turning for the better?
HLS CEO speaks more about Pfizer co-promotion partnership yesterday
start at minute 24 if pressed for time
https://wsw.com/webcast/stifel58/hls.to/2371680
You think this ends soon? Within next 60 days?
Every dollar counts with these HF guys and it is the only new positioned he opened.
From that FierceBiotech article circulated
Combining knowledge of the business with a clear connection to the science involved
Denner has created the template for the modern-day biotech turnaround story.
“Alex actually understands the science–and how to build that into a business,” ex-con and ImClone founder Sam Waksal told Bloomberg. “When a company is broken, he knows what should be done to fix it.”
As an inside player, few can compare to Denner. The big question now is where he plans to play next. And who will follow his game book on their own deals?
Pfizer---I heard him KM say they approved of Pfizer with HLS in Canada.
Good to know. Amarin was definitely involved in that decision process.
Got it. That's tough because those contracts / reimbursements in Europe need to be negotiated and clock has started ticking as of this past March.
Deal could take 6 months to close so spring 2022 we could be looking at deal closing YE 2022. Almost 2 years of Europe exclusivity gone.
Not to mention the lack of growth in USA which it seems like only a BP would be able to bring about. So the clock continues to tick.....
Do you still think soon?
LBL---looks like Baker Bros unloading 4.6 mm shares but BVF has increased their holdings now up to 11.4 mm. BVF owned a lot of AMRN at the beginning of last year before reducing their stake. Interesting to see they now increased their stake by 9.7 mm.
Any thoughts on this? Is BVF an activist fund....? I truly hope BVF is an activist fund.

Thomas Barton just mentioned SNPX.

He has a well known following in the investment community.
Was he liking other tweets about Prepare-IT 1 and that failed?
What's your theory? Why drive it down to that level?
Do you think this journal submission comes this year?
