We've been living under a regime that has taken this country for all its worth from Kennedy on, and the result of all of them is what we see before us.
If it wasn't Vietnam is was something else. The National debt began to balloon under Reagan, the S&L's got bailed out, the market crashed in 87, went down the poop scoop when Clinton left office, and out to the sewer as Bush was leaving. His legacy along with Henry Paulson, was to cut a check for nearly a trillion of taxpayers money to the biggest crooks we've seen, even to one of the biggest hedgefunds we know, Goldman Sachs.
Greenspan was also a player in all this, and as we've discovered, as big if not as big a crook as Madoff when it comes to lies, and manipulation. Ron Cox of the SEC is, was, and will always be one big shithead. Even the rating agencies were in on all of it.
Know what?. Not much has changed. Let us not forget companies like Enron and the reaches of Ken Lay into the Bush family. The Bush family were up to their ears in the S&L scandal, and tight knit with the Bin Laden family.
What did our country get out of all this, this and all the other shit?.........a crumbling infrastructure nationwide, thousands of american soldiers killed in various places throughout the world, and trillions of dollars in national debt, as we watched american companies who were built and had grown off the sweat, and stress of american workers, and american investors, leave the US because our politicians have made it very lucrative for them, thanks to their lobbyist. GE is just one of many fine examples.
The people on top have milked this country dry at the expense of our homeland, and its people. What we got in turn could be as many as 20m to 50m illegals, and not all from Mexico, who knows the number or from where, and the attitude has been, who cares?.
Things are gonna get a whole lot worse before they get better, if ever they do?. No country can stand with this much corruption. We've had our noses into everyones else's business throughout the world when we needed to be cleaning the shit out of our own backyard, we were supplying weapons, and training to Bin Laden, and his misfits who were fighting the Russians, the chickens then came home to roost. The flock has really grown since. Distraction is one of Wall Streets, and our governments biggest, and most successful tools, they've mastered the art of deception, and lies. Its all about money, power, and who gets to go down in the history books.
Nah, I disagree. One thing should be certain to what got us here in the first place. It wasn't honorable good boys and gals, its been the foxes in the hen house. Like our border, they could just turn their backs, and no one is the wiser. Soros George Soros is an old man. Rich yeah, crooked yeah, he operates in the Caymans just like Goldman Sachs. A busy body yeah, and his money can buy most politicians favor, but so do the 17,500 lobbyist who have run Washington. Concessions were being made with China long before Obama came to office. China's wealth didn't start in China......Here's a question?. How many skyscrapers are in Chicago?...........In New York?, How many in Shanghai?.
The Bush family is tight with the Bin Ladens, what does that say?, and can any excuse be acceptable for why we didn't get Bin Laden during 8 years of Bush/Cheney?. He was the excuse for our going into Iraq, and why we remained in Iraq, and why the bulk of our troops were in Iraq, not Afghanistan. Bush lost interest in capturing or killing Bin Laden he stated as much, but he was the reason for our going to Afghanistan in the first place.
I will say this much, both the democrats, in particular Clinton with he signing a bill for deregulation of the banking industry, and republicans have played a role in this financial meltdown which affected economies around the world. The perpetrators were throughout old man Bush's administration, and it was he who nominated Ron Cox to head the SEC, and appointed Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. Ron Cox a former Senator who had rubbed shoulders with many a lobbyist, and Thomas had an opponent Anita Hill who appeared before a Congressional hearing in reference to Clarence Thomas being unworthy for that position. She was ripped by people like Alan Simpson, one big shithead, and good buddies with the Bush's. If we all remember, the very reason we fought in Korea in the first place was to stop the spread of Communism supposedly. American Investments dollars helped to build South Korea into a powerhouse, just like China, today they're our banker, or one of them. We're kinda in bed with them already don't ya think?, in addition to this our country has adopted changes in this country that mirrors Europe. George Soros is small potato's, but a rich one whose disrupted currency markets around the world. My friend they are looking out for their self interest as they have for decades now, and will continue to do is we allow them. Give a look at where Cain has been and why he has made the statements he has regarding the protestors on Wall Street. They're are blaming the wrong people, he said, its the Obama admin...........really?..........I think we know thats a flat out lie!
Cain in October 2011
Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City In office
1995–1996
2005 - 2011 Americans for Prosperity
Starting in 2005, Cain worked for the Koch family funded Americans for Prosperity(AFP) alongside Mark Block. Block would later become campaign manager for Cain's 2012 Presidential run and would be joined in Cain's campaign by several other AFP employees. Cain continued to receive honorariums for speaking at AFP events until he announced his campaign for the Republican nomination.[43]
Cain's close ties to Americans for Prosperity have come under increasing scrutiny as major U.S. news agencies have uncovered close ties between AFP and the Koch Brothers, the billionaire brothers who have been credited for much of the success of the Tea Party Movement. It has also been reported that Cain's 9-9-9 plan has been credited to a "businessman" that served on the AFP board. [44]

Michael Jacksons Thriller
Part 1
If we listen real closely we learn that they are already sucked up with the corruption, and the fraud, and themselves. All of them speak of the problems that are the obvious, and try to sweep whats already happened under the rug. They always shift their attack to the real working class, in particular since most were against the bailout. Bachman, and her hubby has made a life off government dependency. Romney inherited a half billion from his father, Newt is gonna be taken care of for his time in politics at taxpayers expense, like the others, and Herman Kane or Cane is a multi-millionaire looking for more, and the power to go with it. How did he have a say about the vote on the Tarp bill up or down?.
Ron Paul was right to say that under the Reagan admin weapons were traded for hostages, and sold for money to support the Contras in SA. All illegal, and all should have been brought up on treason. Bush may have been running things at that time, Reagan may have already been slipping?.
Even so, he as all of them would like to take us all back to the days of Hoover. What a dark time it was under him. The only time people like him turned to the American people, was when they wanted the peoples support to elect them, or answer to their war cries.
Not one of those running for office are truly what this country needs for a president. Like you've said, its all the same rhertoric. Those thats helped to create the problems are the same ones that want to fix it. The fixer we need has yet to surface, and may never, but for now we need to stay put imo till 2016. We see what 45 years of corruption has done to this nation and its people, we don't need to add more track to that course. Nothing is going to better for any of us based on bullshit promises of a better future ahead. All those running in the gop are dangerous imo.
Soros alot what you say is true. Without question every person who is a citizen of this country deserves to have their civil liberties protected, and share the same rights under the law. But it went way beyond anything imagined. For example forced busing in the late 60's. It was kinda of where the ball started rolling. It was forced integration. Imo in many many ways its made things even worse. Laws made by politicians who lived, and live on compounds, far detached from the world they were creating. Taking students from gang infested neighborhoods to schools way outside their school districts. What it brought were gangs, and violence.
What once were well kept healthy communities, referencing Chicago, are now some of the most drug, and gang infested areas in that city. There is no way to defend this, its truth.
Its gone for most of the white races, and border suburbs as well. Who were forced to sell and or move, or live in the middle of it.
It has nothing to do with the color of someones skin, I rather blame it on the culture, and the many politicians pushing these issues for votes. Kinda like they are doing today with the illegals.
The problem I see with your many points is this. The ones who are truly in need of what the government can, and does provide, the elderly, the disabled, the sick, the vets, and those who aren't able to or can't fend for themselves get thrown in with all those who have milked the system for decades, no less guilty than the crooks of Wall Street. I know vets, one in partcular whose face was disfigured, and had undergone hundreds of operations over many years from an explosion under his tank in Vietnam gets scrutinized for his disability from the VA. They are always looking for a way to lessen his disability. For years, and perhaps even today cannot eat solid foods, but has to use a straw.
"He was drafted".
Who were the people most affected from all this?. From this government?. The true landlords of this nation. A forgotten people, a people who were dehumanized?. How have they benefitted?. 500 tribes, many that no longer exist. A people who had lived here for thousands of years, whose home this was, a land already founded, a pristine land they cherished. In reality should have been the biggest benefactors of all, and should be in that 1 or 2 percent of this countries wealthiest, but in reality are some of the poorest people in America, living on infertile, and unresourceful land. Again there is no skirting around this, its our real history, its the truth.

Even in the initial stages of contact between European Christians and
Native Indian people the stage was set for ethnocentrism, and the
attitude towards the Indians was that of Christian superiority. The
Indians were read a proclamation in Spanish which they had no hope of
understanding, they had no hope of understanding the death sentence they
were being read, and it went something like this:
"We ask and require you to acknowledge the church as the ruler and
superior of the whole world and the high priest called pope and in his
name the king of Spain as lords of this land. If you submit we shall
receive you in all love and charity and shall leave you, your wives and
children and your lands free without servitude, but if you do not submit
we shall powerfully enter into your country and shall make war against
you, we shall take you and your wives and your children and shall make
slaves of them and we shall take away your goods and shall do you all
the harm and damage we can."
2000 years ago we were all tribal.
Then came the missionaries with their ******* bible.
1492 began the termination
The holocaust of our Indian nations
Yeah, with Christian love and a moral authority
They killed our medicine men and stole our country
I never claimed this **** was poetry
It's just the ******* lies of Christianity
You will pray to the lord and get down on your knees
Here's a cross for your back and the coughing disease
Though you helped us survive we will laugh while you bleed
Then deny what we did, write our own history
We will kidnap your children and cut off their hair
Silence their language and outlaw their prayers
Beat them blind until they believe
In the blood of Jesus Christ our king
Christians murdered Indians
Columbus murdered children and now we have a holiday
Still you want to deny your history
Look to the sky for your god to justify
As you commit cultural genocide
Christians came and the natives they did hang
13 at a time for Jesus and his gang
We are the ones you had to dehumanize
So your murder and greed could be justified
The belly of the church is full
With the blood of all those heathen fools
Who would not receive the gift of Christ?
So we burned them as a sacrifice
To our baby killing god above
To our mother church and all her love
We will steal their gods and subjugate
Those who don't believe we'll ahnilate
"The Spaniards made bets as to who would slit a man in two or cut of
his head with one blow. They tore babies from their mother's breast by
their feet and dashed their head against the rocks. They hanged Indians
by thirteen in honor and reverence for their redeemer and their twelve
apostles. They put wood underneath and with fire burned the Indians
alive."
Christians murdered Indians
We believe in the earth, the sky and dreams
The universe and the creator who gave us these
The sacred gift of life and human beings
That makes you perpetrate the hate to ahnilate
So here I am the savage civilized
Voice of the dead and my ancestor's cries
And like the ghosts of this land you can't erase
I see blood on the hands of the master race.
500 years of manifest destiny
500 years of resistance to the enemy
You have faith in the rivers, the mountains, the trees
We've a murdering god to replace all of these
With the blood of forgiveness you too can be free
Or the wrath of Jehovah you're sure to receive
We will baptize you with the blood of the lamb
With the sword and the gospel we will conquer your land
You will join our church and be glad to be saved
Or we'll slaughter your children and your women we'll rape.
Christians murdered Indians
I see blood on the hands of the master race.

Post-Congress activities (2001-2008)
Kasich did not seek reelection for the House for the 2000 election, but instead formed an exploratory committee to run for President.[29]
He formerly hosted Heartland with John Kasich on the Fox News Channel and also guest hosted The O'Reilly Factor, filling in for Bill O'Reilly as needed. Kasich frequently appeared as a guest host and analyst on Hannity & Colmes and now Hannity.
Kasich served on the board of directors for several corporations, including Invacare Corporation and Chicago-based Norvax Inc. In 2001, Kasich joined Lehman Brothers' investment banking division in Columbus as a managing director.[30] He remained at the company until its bankruptcy filing and subsequent breakup in September 2008. For his work in 2007-2008, Lehman Brothers paid Kasich $182,692 for his 2008 salary, a $432,000 performance bonus for 2007, and $2,250 in other benefits.[31]
Republicans tried to recruit Kasich for Governor of Ohio in 2006; however Kasich declined to enter the race.[32]
Kasich "always had an independent streak", said his friend, Curt Steiner, former chief of staff to former Ohio Governor and U.S. Senator George Voinovich. "He's a solid Republican, but he's always had his own views. [He's] a biological Democrat" [... his parents were Democrats]. "He came from an average background. He's in touch with people. He's not a Beltway thinker."[33]
In early 2007, Kasich was reportedly considering making a serious run for Governor of Ohio in 2010, seeking the Republican nomination to unseat incumbent Ted Strickland.[34] In March 2008, Kasich said that Ohio's state income tax should be "phased out." [35]
In 2008, Kasich was named the Honorary Chairman of Recharge Ohio; an organization with the stated purpose of electing leaders who would "get our state back on track."[36] Kasich said that he hoped that through Recharge Ohio, he could "provide the framework necessary to allow Ohio to become a leader in economic and educational success."[37]

Break Time:
I bet he'd be fun to try an comb out!. He'd have to be sedated by a professional like a Vet. Wild cats can get crazy if their handled. First he'd have to be trapped in a havahart cage, and then released again after since thats the only life he's known.
I hate seeing them out in the freezing cold here. The one I had seen on occassion was limping real bad, his right rear leg winter before last. I think he probably found somewhere to die, he couldn't feed himself like that. It troubled me. Perhaps I should have tried catching him, but I knew that the Human Society would just put him asleep, either way there's no positive outcome other than putting him out of his misery. I agree with ya, I had a few words with a fellow out at the Park a few weeks ago who released his dog only to chase after the wildlife. A couple weeks earlier I saw a goose with badly bent or mangled leg, and I wondered how it could have happened?. Maybe from something like that?. I called the Human Society who told me they were gonna send somebody out. I don't know if they did, or if it was caught, but I reported it.
Signs are posted all over the Park, "No Dogs Allowed". The people will get ticketed from the Sheriffs Dept if their caught. They do patrol it, and no one ever knows when they'll show?. If the people are gonna walk their dogs they should keep them leashed, carry a pooper scooper, and bag. None do!.
It sounds reasonable, and you may be right about that embassy. Israel's intelligence are second to none. I believe that the first motive for going into Iraq was oil. The second reason was to establish a means to have future access to it. The third was to open that country up for corporate profiteers. Imo it will not work out as planned, I think there are to many things going on in to many ME countries, and the Muslim Islamic movement is growing bigger, and stronger, and the country most at risk like never before is Israel, the only democratic country in the ME, and our only real ally. It does provoke questions at the Obama administration, and his stand with Israel?. The one thing I think Obama and his administration needs to do is to listen more to what Netanyahu has been informing him of both publicly and privately. The US needs to stop meddling, and telling them what pieces of its country should be cut up and divided away to a people who has been in pursuit of their destruction. Look at the ties we have with the oil rich countries countries in the ME, its big business. Israel doesn't have any of those resources, the one and only things Israel has going for it is that they are like us.
Our nation’s wealth is distributed to the government elite.
Yep!. Its been going on for decades. Just recently it dished out $780B to the financial industry which included an insurance giant, and a hedgefund giant. Its nothing new. $10T+ prior to Obama who inherited a big pile of shit from the prior admin. I'm not a fan of Clinton, his signature endorsed a bill of deregulation for the kids in the candy store, and if we understood what was told to the American people, it was all eaten.
Greenspan, Summers, Cox, and all the crooks they surrounded themselves with created the biggest fraud ever on the American people, and the world at large..........That being said, the only people who have real wealth aren't the likes of most of us, its only a tiny percentage, like Bill Gates who has used Msft as his own personal ATM, like his insiders, like Larry Ellsion who don't get paid thru normal channels like those they employee, by check from these companies generated earnings. Its just another piece to this corrupted system called, "the free market".
We're the ones who fight the wars, remain in debt forever, and lucky to have earned a million over a lifetime. Whatever we earn, or have gets the once over every year to make sure we aren't cheating the government, unlike the elite. We pay more than our fair share, and in more ways than one.
breaktime: remember this One? it should be the song played prior to any debates.:)
One, there wasn't one insurgent in Iraq till we went in. Saddam, his regime, along with his sons went into hiding having lost control, and their power. Only then did the insurgent problem become an issue..............Its obvious that the last admin did not want Bin Laden, nor even care of his whereabouts, or he and his band could have been taken down in short term. If Pakistan chose to harbor any or all of them was cause to pursue them over their border. This kind of attack was cause for a war, ever how small and quick in taking them down. It was an erroneous excuse to tap into our governments till, no less than those who operated on Wall Street, then sought bailout money............At a time when our soldiers were engaged in 2 wars. Remember parents buying bullet proof vest for their own serving there because the government was underfunding the military, and lacked the equipment. It gets no more despicable.
Its like a rat colony. Take out the breeder, and the extermination problem will work, leave the breeder, and the colony will grow, and eventually completely take over.
We can't move into Iraq. Remember the US embassy that was established in Vietnam?.......watch and see what comes from our invasion of Iraq, keep an eye on Egypt, and Libya, imo it will be a 100x worse. We stabbed Mobarak in the back. He came into Power after Anwar Sadat was assassinated, and kept peace with Israel. The muslim brotherhood has no such intentions, no more than Iran has, and who will be their backbone who supports them into power.
Maybe everyone here has watched the movie or the documentary "Iranium"?, maybe everyone except me?. I caught a little of it tonight on a Christian network while surfing the channels. I tried finding the video on several sights, but due to copyrighted infringements its been removed. It really only confirms the danger, and threat of that country. The country, or rather its government is like an octopus whose tentacles have reached out to most of the Middle East, at its heart is the number 1 sponsor terrorist. I think most long ago acknowledged this. The question is why the Bush admin chose Iraq, for that matter Afghanistan, Bin Laden was a small potato in the scheme of things that may come out of Iran, and this distraction has bought them plenty of time. Germany was given one country, then another, and the prime minister of Britain was promised peace, peace in his countries lifetime he told his people, a promise by Hitler.
We're reaching a point of no return if they are allowed to go nuclear. Pakistan being nuclear is in itself a nightmare that could unfold if terrorist would ever gain control of theirs, and as we have seen they have harbored terrorist for years, even Bin Laden. Our leaders have seen this coming for years, and have chosen to do little to nothing about it other than dancing around their fires. Corporations have made billions off these two conflicts especially Iraq, and our military have been used to open up the doors for them.
Anyway!!!!!!!!!!!! if anyone is up late this video can be seen on one of your Christian cable networks at 11p or 12a tonight. I may have stay up if I can keep my eyes open to see it in its entirety.
They give back by allowing us to share some of their world that makes our hearts beat a little more, and with this we may just live a little longer.........I've got to believe the Creator of them, and us is watching..........which leads to ask ever how we view our Creator when we're watching one, like your Hummingbirds, "what was in our Creators mind when the blueprint was being created"?........or that little Chippy?:)......, and so many of the other beautiful creatures we have?.........we are truly blessed to be here, and to have this gift, and opportunity to experience such things.
If they can't win us over, nothing can. :))
Just a look in their faces, and eyes is something to give wonder about?
If anyone needs our support its them, and all you've done will live in your heart and thoughts throughout your lifetime, and its all good. You never know what blessing may even today come your way?.........I'm sure may will.
Bless your souls!......., these guys have such a hard just trying to survive, and for the life of me I don't how they make it thru the brutal winters, the dry times when food is scarce, which is most of the time even in good seasons?. I know some do because of you and your wife.:).
This is what they spend most of their energy on with the hope of finding a little bit that will help get them to another day. If they make it we may even get a glimpse at their babies who are put in the same exact situations, and will grow to know who their friends really are...........
:)))........I agree!!!
I ran across this article, and found it interesting. I guess we all have to cut the grass, rake, or plant in the Spring. We probably experience some wildlife issues from time to time. We may have squirrels digging, Robins pulling up grass for their nest, an occassional masked bandit, rabbit, and even a stinker now and then:)...........if we're lucky we might see a deer, or a beautiful little Chippie, maybe even a young one when mom lets them venture outside?. When we do I've noticed they investigate everything, and might try and eat anything cause they don't know what is an isn't food.........they're so tiny that tall grass can look like a forest to them:)...........so this article should touch some warm souls..........maybe we can help them out a bit?.
http://www.paghat.com/chipmunk.html
I don't know how this poor animals make it thru a winter let alone just a couple of years if lucky in the wild dealing with the elements mother nature throws at them, and she can be brutal in the winter. They may have fur but it can't be any better, if better than our lined coats. If they don't have enough to deal with people can be cruel. Its hard to imagine the world without them? what a cold place this would be!..........other than rats in North America which can carry all kinds of diseases, and aren't native to our country, and arrived from Europe via the boats that found their way to these shores. By no means should a person compare these creatures to a Chipmunk or Ground Squirrel, as the article states they are free of disease.
People releasing non native species into our wild places are causing a great deal of havoc, snakes, rodents, and the wild pig.
Manicured lawns, and gardens orginated in France in the 1700's for those of wealth, then spread to England, etc. Now its a billion + dollar industry in this country. One day I think I'll have no grass for my yard, white sweet clover grows lush and prettier than anything related to grass, and pratically maintenance free, retards the growth of weeds which are not native to this country, but native to Europe, and arrived with food seeds, and the like, just look at how the spores have spread.
I guess the point of this article is that people would rather have their lawns devoid of wildlife even the tiny Chipmunk for the sake of a perfect manicured lawn, and ironic considering it last for a few summer months. The only time in most of the creatures lives that they enjoy, providing there's no devasting storms.
Very pretty. Old songs to have a way of bringing us back in time.
Gotta give it to this Air girl,,,,,,she's good!. You decide?. This is one hot song. I always said I shoulda went Air!, but what dida do?........I went Ground!.........It was a bumpy ride!:)
Lewis Black - On the greediest of the greedy.
Keep in mind these events happened prior to Wall Streets financial collapse.:)
Breaktime: Nice way to begin a Sunday morning.
Interesting. Initially I thought Beck might be on to something. Initially I thought he just might be an Independent, in particular when he would say, it doesn't matter what political party you support. It does matter, to him though and in a big way, and the party he supports. He could be perfectly rational one minute then go off on a tangent. I wondered if the guy's bi-polar?. He gives me the impression of being superficial, never mind a little nuts. It appears to me that everyone that has lots of money, hedgies, billionaires, wall street, corporations, etc., supports the republican way.........for me that throws up a red flag........their claim to fame is conservatism, but they like to spend money, lots of it, money that isn't theirs. Approx $10T of national debt excluding the interest can be attributed to them.........
The point I was making earlier was the opposite of progressive is regressive, and Eisenhower warned us of this path. Unless we lived thru the Great Depression, Thank God we didn't, the days of Hoover meant suffering without means of any help, and chances are the other family members were in the same boat.......Most people today live from payday to payday with one foot on the street. Pay is just enough to keep us all coming back.
You said you didn't like Clinton, there's lots to not like about him, but he supported one republican cause that we're living with today. He signed a Bill deregulating the financial industry, he further supported non-regulation of the derivatives market. This market has now grown from $35T when he was president almost eclipsing the so called Big Bang........$595T. Try and wrap your mind around this???????..........He and Hillary came into office in debt, and both have made out very nicely since, mega millionaires..........A far cry from what the president earned in the 30's........and there was no Air Force One, let alone 2. or maybe there's 3?.........what was afforded FDR was a C31 if I'm not mistaken?. He died in office as you know having been elected 4 terms..........what gets me is that Congress passed the law of allowing a president only 2 terms.........but for them it can be a life time.........even if their over 100 if they can keep their supporters..........and the money flowing, yes always the "Money". Ever how things can be fixed so they can remain career politicians...........to keep the money flowing, and the perks coming, and the graft for the peddling of their influence, all at """governments expense, all at taxpayers expense"""
I do agree that alot of fix-in needs to occur in Washington for both parties who largely have control. The problem stems from the ideas of a party, rather than a party with ideas. We've grown into country of people, as opposed to a country, and a people unified for the good of both. We should be working together as a society we can be proud to live in, and serve.
But look at society, and look at those who serve in government. Its a constant clashing of minds. Those who should serve with integrity above all others, are either in Airport toliets trying to hook up, or in Argentina spending time with their soulmates, or playing sex games on the internet. If its not this its stealing postal stamps, or running up unpaid debt in the congressional dining room, or getting drunk an driving into canals. When its not this their stashing huge somes of graft into ice boxes, or breaking and entering........or even better targeting earmarks for their personal beneficial gain, or getting homes refurbished, or remodeled because the contractors liked them so much:)..............
We can't fix the world my friend, if we could we'd be God. The one thing our government could have done was stop with the concessions to a country whose government you dislike, and making them our banker and we their whore. Our government has played a huge role in job displacements, with little to no industry to now support its people, as well as making it beneficial for companies to move abroad, and incorporate themselves with nothing more than post office box for tax favors. American dollars built South Korea, and British pounds built Hong Kong, along with American dollars..........
We've been everything to every country in the world without, and with emerging markets that our own helped to create, and we've witnessed our country, its military, and its good hard working people, and families get sold down the river. More an more bad people are gaining control of our streets and communities, as we fight bad people in countries who hate us. The big question is what has it gotten us this far?....... gang infestation, and If 911 was a payback, what next?...........like termites without Orkin, and with no one looking just to be on the safe side, "one day we're looking at sky", because our roof fell off, and just so happened it was 95o and the dewpoint was near 80. "Is that Oak"? :)
I couldn't agree more.
He also made a mockery of what happened to the Native Americans. As he has many things. He's made the kind of remarks only a moron could be expected to make..........he's a person that could only acknowledge the suffering they went through if he, his family, and loved ones if he even knows what it means would have to share. He thinks, and believes that we can just jump over that part of our history, and begin with the "founding fathers".
He relishes what these people suffered with the kind of smirks, and antics we saw in Hitler, and his Nazi's as they moved thru the East on their way to Russia. One Nazi soldier was noted as saying, "that they Knew what they would bring". They murdered the old, both men and women, children, and babies who had done nothing to them, or anyone, who were poor, and had nothing more that enough to sustain their families, and even this they took after their rampages of wiping out entire villages, and towns. Some of these villages these people had lived in for hundreds of years, each and everyone of them murdered.
The one thing that Hitler liked about America, they way it came into its possession. He even backed off England, and pursued the East. He was noted as saying the English were alot like them, the Germans........
Its believed that there were approximately 50 million in population in South America which was made up of the Mayans, Aztecs, and the Incas prior to Spain's invasion, and equally 50 million in North America that were made up of 500 tribes of the Native Americans.
Its also believed, or conjectured that most of the population was wiped out in South America maybe as much as 90%, from the slaughter, and diseases they brought with them, one being the highly contagious small pox, influenza, etc. The suffering one goes through till death from small pox is horrid.
In North America there were approx 16 million when the Europeans stepped foot on America's soil, or on its shores. When they were finished with their slaughter in North America only 200,000 remained. All found their way into reservations. The early concentration camps.............If it weren't for those who had a heart, and morals who fought for them there would probably have not been one left.
This was their homes, and their land. They've only generated a population of about 1 million from that remaining 200,000. Even here in Milwaukee I have only managed to see 2 full blooded Natives even though their here, and live here, you would never know less you went to a reservation..........
With a name like Beck he should watch his tongue.
Custer was also German. His intent at Little Big Horn was to murder every thing that moved in that village, every man, women, and child, as he had done elsewhere.........he thought it would be a walk in the park, so he left his Gatling gun behind so he could arrive there quicker to achieve his goal.....kinda like the Nazi's in Stalingrad, and Kursk, they would own it in 6 weeks...........really what they did was stir up a hornets nest, the Russians kicked their ass's all the way back Berlin............,
and it was them now who learned, "they knew what to expect when the Russian's reached their doorstrp". Kinda like Custer knew he realized his error. His famous last words, "comeon men we got them now". He didn't realize that the small village he was attacking extended for about a mile or more, and made up of 10,000. He also learned that the warriors were not out hunting, and away from the village as he supposed they would be.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that we could have been a great country, and perhaps our social fabric would have allowed us to live as a Christian nation if in fact it was this that was brought to these shores.........but what was brought was heartache for all those that lived on this side of the ocean. The most important was the people, but the forest, land, and wildlife suffered with them.........a land they cherised spiritually, a land the whites saw as profit.
Glen Beck needs to grow up, it was his kind of mentality that reared that kind of inhumanity, to a people who had at one time, when the first explorers arrived had befriended them, and extended their hands, and their welcome to their homeland.
If he is gonna speak publicly, and use the media to do it, and he wants people to even listen to his views, and perspectives on things as the Mormon he claims to be, and a person who believes, and thus prays to God, he needs to get a grip on what it means to be a Christian, as opposed to just another fan,...........
I know I'm a hypocrite, or I would be better, and I need to be, but I at least state the truth about myself, I could be better no matter what the day brings. A person can't be mean, and live a life thats contrary, and profess to be something more than he or she is........he's more a conspiracy than all those he showed on his blackboards.:)
I agree. The more real side of Beck comes across loud and clear on his radio show, like Rush whose taken to many drugs, and Beck claimed to pay out a million just for security a year..........wow!
Hitler had thousands of men covering his back, while Churchill had only a few. Guess one needs them when they acknowledge how much hate they've spewed out.........what a way to live, and have to meet the day. Beck claims to have God in his life.........an expression he uses frequently,,,,,,,,,,,"really"?
When she was engaged in the debate I interpreted it as such. Maybe that was her point. Whatever the case it appears that everything she and the hubby does must meet with some reward. It was like one of the first things out of her mouth, and this is what would help to make her the president we all deserve. I wish she would have remained a foster parent, I wouldn't want her to be fostering those ideas of hers as president.
I can agree with most of what you say. Founders, Ceo's, and insiders use much of this money for themselves at times. They consistently use these publicly traded companies as their own personal ATM's at the expense of investors. It would be like the Treasury printing money constantly to keep up with the desires of DC's insiders..............Bill Gates didn't obtain his wealth from the profits generated by Msft, nor Larry Ellison of Oracle, and the list is endless, its a racket of loopholes that the Government needs to close. Its allowed these people to become multibillionaires without ever having to sell anything except stocks, and options............How about just earning a paycheck like everyone else?
The more she talks the more she keeps putting one of those hundred pairs of shoes she wears in her mouth. She wants to run for president, and get paid a hefty salary with all the perks at taxpayers expense while campaigning, and not even earning it, as if many of them do in the first place.........the graft that gets spread around probably way exceeds what they get paid. Even this they control, voting, and passing raises they don't deserve. Plus all the many perks..........just think about this for a minute?. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all do this, who then would need a union?
Yep!...........most are full of doubletalk, if we look at little closer we might even see forked tongues :)..........I've seen Ann Coulter avoid direct questions, and now Christine O'Donnell, both witches in my opinion...........I would like to cut Coulters stringy blonde hair that she strokes and sways with my grass shears.:)
Someone in the news stated that she does Sarah Palin better than Sarah Palin. :)
Christine O'Donnell, who isn't a witch she's you, "she said", has a new book out............where do these people find so much to write about?............One thing happens and the next thing they're writing a book on the matter. :)..........and no doubt people will be rushing out to by a copy..........
Its the stock market thats caused as much the problem as anything else, and with it comes as much corruption as anything on the planet,,,,,,,,,,I began to ask myself if we really need them?,,,,,,,,,,,,we have enough casino's if this is a person game. We have competitive pricing, and whoever can beat the price usually gets the business,,,,,,,,,,the markets have caused more ills than any of us can imagine,,,,,,,,the cause of the Great Depression, war, and what we're experiencing now.......if the Republicans really believe in private small business, and ownership, and its the backbone of our economy this would appear to be the simplest form of entrepreneurship, making it honestly, and successfully without the help of going public, and becoming dependent on funds, and compensation they don't earn or generate.
Is it only this that make us a truly capitalistic society, "the stock market"?. One would come to believe so, wonder what kind of society we could become without all that corruption?
"The first Progressive Party was founded in 1912 by disaffected Republicans" and almost elected Roosevelt to the White House. President Theodore Roosevelt, the "Bull Moose" candidate, fought railroad and oil monopolies. Although the Progressives lost the presidency to Woodrow Wilson, progressive measures limiting child labor, establishing worker's compensation and restructuring the banking system---all part of the 1912 Progressive Party platform---were eventually made law.

All of them...........both she and her husband. She owes her career to the government, and taxpayer. Both owe their way of life to the money they've received from the taxpayer, and they enjoy their farm don't they?......I wonder what else they receive from having adopted all those kids?, ever looked into it?, there must be some governmental monetary benefits. There's more to this story, and who cares for those kids when she invest so much of her time working the system for the next position.
I don't know my friend if the IRS determines we owe them money, they'll come after us even after we are dead, or our relatives...........but you're right, for many, money is their lot in life, its more their god than anything else. The rich keep getting richer, all in part because they dominate the markets.
We have so much money in circulation all the gold in the world couldn't back it. Its just another commodity thats traded, or bet on daily. Our biggest problem as working class, there never seems to be enough. We get paid just enough just to keep us coming back.
Just look at what the avg pay is in China, and what the people will go thru to earn just that little bit. A perfect example, the pay is just enough to keep them coming back. For so many of us, its life.
One some of those republicans are pretty crazy. But I agree that both parties can credit themselves for the state of this nation.
Politicians are very good at masking what they are really about, and most can look the American people in the eye and not blink as they lie..........as I said earlier, when we go back in time, we begin to understand that this government began to take to take shape like most European governments. War was as it core. The same mentality was brought to these shores, only difference, here they committed genocide. Our government today grew out of that. I know this cannot be changed, excused, or ever forgotten, it will always be with us...........It appears nothing has really been learned from it.............We can't blame the government for its people, but they do play a big role in demoralizing us as a nation. If theirs no integrity in elected officials, how can they proclaim to be leaders?.........most are a stones throw away from prostituting themselves, and or their office.
Off subject, I don't know even you've listened to Glen Beck, but he has been beating up on everything progressive. He is something else, I've listened to some of his comments, and he is a dispicable human being, he isn't what he proclaims either. You can't believe that the republicans in office today has the same honor and disposition as Eisenhower..........what ever isn't progressive, is it opposite, the only diffference here that many of todays republicans want to push us back to the soup lines. What the dems have done is cater to a large number of misfits in this country to gain votes,,,,,,,,,,and we see the outcome. Gangs in our inner cities grew out of that atmosphere, and even though that was never the intention of government, it supported many of those very households........One thing I do agree with, the fraud thats been committed by recipients, as well as providers have cost the American taxpayers billions.........Whose watching the farm?........the same people that was hired in all these government agencies, the reason for the Bernie Madoffs of the world is due to the lack of funding needed and the people they hire who they know aren't capable..........who we need at the head of the SEC is the likes of Elliot Spitzer. The reason why this will never happen.....they don't want integrity in our market place,,,,,,,,,,,Bush and Cheney were at best 2 of the greatest fraudsters.
Michelle Backman hates both, but she the loves the benefits of she personally received from those institutions. She and her husband dances, not only on stage, but around the nightly camp fire in exuberation in celebration from all those government programs they've financially gained from.
Michelle, my Bell,
What a hypocrit you are!

I wish now I would have worded my comment differently. :) I agree with you!
Michelle Backman has enriched herself as a government worker, as a Congress "woman", and now she wants all the perks, and power as president............

It could be that your a tad to the right, and I to the left. One thing is certain. When one party is not sending this country to war the other has been taxing and targeting the middle class. I'm convinced that what the Repubs want is to bring us back to the days of Hoover.
When the country was in total despair he went on vacation. When the Vets of WW1 had no where else to turn but DC with the hope of getting the $2k that was promised them for going the active military was ordered to drive them out, setting fire to the only homes they had,,,,,,,,,,,a tent. Something similar happened at Kent State with the National Guard who shot and killed students for protesting the War in Vietnam. A war that wasn't, a war created on lies, much like Iraq..........Bush and Cheney sleep well with all of their ill gotten gains, and they'll both benefit from retirements that those men and women paid into from their taxes.
If we ever return to a government that is run like a dictatorship, and the people of this nation is silenced from having a voice, like the many that faced the IRS in its heyday of corruption, and the same laws that applied to me and you, but not them we'll be worse for it. There was a time politicians were immune from laws that you and I could be fined and put in jail for. This is what I've determined that the Repubs want, a government that empowers, enriches, and benefits them, the rich, and corporate America who use thousands of lobbyist to do their bidding, the very same ones who use these publicly traded companies like their own personal ATM's. Their both in lock step in taking the jobs out of America away from the people who built them................the bottom line my friend is greed.
In the face of these 2 wars, and if it were not enough for the people who died in 911, soldiers were dying on the battlefield, and the only thing that was in the minds of Wall Street was how to use everyone of us to the limit, the very same people who devastated not only our economy, but others around the world. They benefited greatly off these wars, and those bailouts, off the backs of the American people, and now they're telling us, not asking us, why we need to pay for the National Debt that all of them are responsible for. Sounds kinda like the Brown Shirts in the making.
One, me and you, in many respects are really on the same page. You've said a many things better.
Ya know the safety nets that FDR put into place was just that, a safety net, not a lifestyle, but our politicians that came later distorted all of its true intent, using such things for votes, and for many it grew into a lifestyle, and in many ways it nurtured a class of degenerate people who have hurt us more than any terrorist organization ever has.
It was never meant to filled with fraud and abuse, by individuals, or business, or professionals who are in the business, especially those affiliated with health and pharm industries. But there's wide spread abuse by doctors, and pharmacist alike, and the phoney ones who claim to be. This is the sad part of something that was intended for good..........the ones who chose to take advantage, and it may wind up hurting those who are genuinely in need of assistance.
The old who really need help, the sick, the disabled, our vets, widows, our soldiers on active duty, should not be looked at as a burden, our own grandparents, and parents as you've stated, a brother, sister, might be a child or neighbor are among that mix, and its our duty as a civilized people, if we have any heart to make sure we take care of them, and be glad to do it............if all the things we've tried aren't working today, we need to find a better means, a better way of doing it.
FDR as President, the man worked as hard as anyone ever will in that position, and he did alot a good for the American people as a whole, and the world, helping to save us from the likes of Japan, and Hitler's Nazi's. He tried to heal us as people of one nation. When he died, many a soldier wept, as many did here at home...........A man truly love by most.
He wanted Americans to have opportunity to grow their lives, not on the back of government as its turned out, but to know that there were programs to help if a person fell flat on their face. Something that wasn't there prior to he being president. The list of his accomplishments are endless. The man was a genius. Its just my opinion, and I am still one that believes in God, and Creator, that he was ordained to be president. Wearing 10lbs of leg irons didn't refrain him from trying to make life just a little better for us all. He died without seeing the wars completely over. Out of respect for those still dying on the battlefield, he would not accept a State burial........today they'll attend Balls in all the attire befitting them, with champagne glass in hand.
Harry Truman ended it fast and quick, as we should have in Afghanistan/Pakistan, and ended Bin Laden, but if they had, what would the excuse then have been for going into Iraq?.............a place that had no problem with one insurgent......... and we all know they could have, Obama proved as much, but with Bush/Cheney, it was never the intent, nor the goal, or their agenda. Bush has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer, and will go down in history as one of our worst presidents..........
Alot of what you've have said sounds alike like my own parents who are gone, both having experienced the Great Depression. Alot of hard times,,,,,,,,,nothing could equate to what people went through in Europe who weren't German, but hard times none the less. Not exaggerating, if someone approached my father with a bundle of cash to lie for them for whatever the reason, and he needed the money badly, "he would have turned it down". I could never live up to him, and it wasn't suggestive of him, I believe it was his hope for all of us that we would live the kind of lives just doing the right things.
Of all people we should expect this much from our elected officials,,,,,,,,,but more often than not its the wrong things for all the wrong reasons. But they expect this much from our soldiers that they put in harms way unjustly so.......In a few more years people will just be tired of hearing about Iraq, I believe already......the only ones who care are those that can make another government contract off it, into the millions or hundreds of millions........but who will never forget it are our service men and women, and their families.......what a waste of our military, and the monetary cost of having done this to them by our leaders.
There are no more Teddy Roosevelt's, or Franklin Roosevelt's, Harry Truman's, nor Dwight Eisenhower's.............a bygone era, and 4 truly remarkable men, and its to bad..............and one I can't help but mention,,,,,,,,,,,,,Patton!, what a character!!. What a mistake Eisenhower made keeping him out of the war when he was most needed...........he made a heck of a comeback!:)
I wonder at times if the Red Army could have driven the Nazi's all the way (into) the English Channel on their own?. Perhaps, but what a long drawn out war it would have been, with the threat of Japan. How many more lost without our combining forces?.
We should have been on a path growing as a country after, keeping us free of war and conflict, but it wasn't meant to be, our politicians, along with our corporations, and the rich that have come out of them, and a corrupted market system, all that seem to work in collusion, made other countries rich, and growth oriented.
Thanks for the responses One.
