This feels like it doesn't bode well for the shareholder.
The date being moved forward is a pleasant change of pace.
That's actually sort of beautiful. I keep a small portfolio of OTC stocks. Made out huge on a few, lost a grip on another. They're fun. I know there are people out there who kill it with them, but I don't have time or energy to read between the lines of some of these scams. Lazar plays have netted good returns over my short time with the OTC. So I'll keep an eye on this one.
Kinda hard to find any DD on this one, am I missing a page? What happens Sept 28?
Re: the Prisoners dilemma. I had a thought about that -- Since the suit is consolidated to one trail against 13 defendants. Can one settle? Or would all 13 have to agree to settle thus eliminating the prisoners dilemma option? This may have been discussed, I just don't remember.
I just think because it's not "news" yet because these companies are always being sued over some IP issue and it ends up being nothing which is why they have lawyers on retainer. Once there's a victory in court, I'd almost guarantee someone will pick it up.
Lot of buzz on this one, seems I had entered just in time at .03. Where do you folks see this running to?
I've made a mess of money flipping this one. It's been completely predictable for months on end, every company on the OTC is "going to dollar land" any day now.
New to this one, so trying to read through all the DD I read that they're waiting on financing for this Nebraska project. What I can't seem to find is a projected timeline? Any educated guesses or some reading I missed?
Allinfun, I'm curious how you're breadth of knowledge over this is whole process is so deep at the age of 26? Most 26 year olds I know are....preoccupied with other things.
This exact same sentiment is on every single board all the time. Sometimes I feel like a sucker for ever thinking some of these companies are gonna rise when you suckers think they're going to. Every damn board here is "going to dollar land any day now!"
Strongly considering it. I would like to go and witness things. See the body language of the attorneys, listen to the arguments, gain more perspective. It's an easy day trip for me, just trying to see if I can swing it with work stuff.
He say anything else of interest?
Do you guys have estimated of the settlement amount or what the PPS could run to?
How do we know for sure that COMM PPS is a result of the Chanbond Suit?
I mean, what does that prove though? That this is a risky investment and no-one who's career is on the line would invest into something that is all or nothing, right? Yeah, that's fair. But sophisticated and institutional are 2 different meanings. I do know personally sophisticated investors that have stock in this and a ton of it.
Is the Fed Court appeals open to the public? I'm an easy road trip to DC and have that day off, considering sitting in on the appeal.
I'm not far. What is the date?
Lots of talk about the PPS, which we know really doesn't matter right now because it's settlement or bust, but any conversation about the Pacers yesterday? Anyone read the brief from Ying? I thought it was interesting, lots of esoteric language I didn't understand but it seems they have good points to allow their theory. Anyones thoughts?
Little new to this ticker (and the OTC in general). I've been sort of watching it for a little bit but finally have some skin in the game. In the DD provided (Thanks so much for that!) I see lots of lawsuits and companies gross and even settlements reached, but I am wondering if QPRC has released info on how much these settlements are and what the earnings will be?
It was the last theory they introduced at the end of expert discovery. I'm looking through the pacers to find it.
Has anyone delved into the new prior art theories by the MSOs? I tried to find some info on it but really couldn’t.
I found this ticker at the end of February when it was at .018. First load up was there, second at .012, so I know what you mean about wishing I had patience. Oh well, hindsights 20/20.
I came into a little extra cash and put in an order at .013 for 130k shares. I was all set, but figured I’d grab one more batch if I can.
I'm going to take 2.02.
That was sort of my deduction from it as well
Speaking to the chances of winning, I chatted to a patent attorney at a wedding once, sort of randomly ran into him. I told him the situation and his response was “the lawyer wouldn’t have taken it with less than 50/50 odds.
Hard lesson to learn.
Could someone briefly explain how the shorts affect current PPS? Yes I’m an idiot, just a newb trying to learn.
Again, why do you think that? Yes, I’m a newb. I’m just asking questions here seeing as this one tanked a month ago.
Sorry. That was an honest question. Newb over here.
Sorry, I've been reading all of the posts and DD lately but don't necessarily believe this, why do you think this is going to run to .10?
Isn’t the 679 the one that crushed in IPR stage?
Scruf, I like you...
But I don't understand 95% of the words you post.
Sooooo this is what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a scam.
3 of those were mine. One separate order that was split up, still working on accumulating.
You're probably right. The people in the know here have suggested .25-.75. It seems that If the Cisco appeal is overturned, it could be another story.
Purely conjecture here, but this was in the article Scruf posted --
Reasonable Attorneys’ Fees: Courts have discretion to require the losing party in a patent infringement suit to pay the legal fees of the prevailing party “in exceptional cases.” Most commonly, this occurs when the defendant is found to have willfully infringed, the plaintiff’s case is unusually weak, or the losing party is found to have engaged in misconduct during the litigation or in obtaining the patent at issue
Could this be applied to our situation in relation to the attorneys fees?
Where do things stand with Cisco? Sorry, this is is all a lot to keep up with!
