Thanks - to both of you that replied.
Will someone post an updated live L2?
See my response #4716. Not a thing other than that.
No. He normally backs out of a direct answer gracefully - but he didn't even do that this time. He simply said that silence was one of the terms of the settlement agreement. When he does that, I don't push back. I know him well enough now to know when to back off.
I got a couple emails from Walt. The first one was a confirmation of the settlement. The second one, of course nosy me asked for a $$$ amount, and he made it VERY CLEAR that his lips are sealed as a direct result of the terms of the agreement. I respect that and did not respond since. That was yesterday.
For those of you NEW to INRA, I thought I'd share some info with you. One of our prestigious board members happens to be:
Martin R. Calsyn
Principal Consultant, Software Architect
Coroware, Inc.
Read through some of his posts. Always very subjective and informative. In one post, http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=13986333, he even states that he worked for Microsoft for 12 years and was the original founding architect for Microsoft's Robotics Studio. Believe me when I say that we HAVE IT ALL here on this board!!!
WALT IS TRULY - THE MAN!!!! We love you Walt!
I really am beginning to freak. The speed that this is moving is SO EXCITING!!! Without news yet, unbelievable!!!
I can't wait to see where our PPS is at seconds before the actual news hits!!!!
Oh good. Mine must be off. It showed as a sell on mine. Whew! No sweat lost there.
We're now less than 20K away from yesterdays volume and hitting .31 solid! This is going to be a great day! SO NICE!!!
Okay, before I could hit 'submit', I noticed that damn sell-off of 430K shares. Who would do such a thing? Are they nuts? This is only GOING UP!!!!
To the moon, Alice!
You are awesome! You've just gotten a membermark from me.
HELLO .29!!! Nice to see ya, ole' friend!
Speaking of Caslyn, Martin, where are you? Enjoying this, as we are?
Dont worry - I wouldn't miss this excitement. I've been here throughout, but I'm trying not to let this excitement distract me from the day job, ya know.
This is awesome! This is what we've been sweating and fretting for, for so long!
You've got that right! Those of us LONGS know exactly what we have and exactly what the potential is here.
Ditto! SPIN: it is so cool to have you on board like this! LOVE IT!!!! Thank you.
I've trusted you since - well - since I've known you. For both, and ALL, of us, good night - and good luck!
Walt, now's your chance to fulfill your promises!
No-one ever said, not by those of us longs, that tomorrow would be a selling day - don't ever think such a thing. I want this more than anyone knows. I will not say I need this more, but damnit, I want this just as much and I've remained one heck of a steady force here on the Ihub board. Not always pumping, but never dumping. I'm an IT geek - I know stats and facts - I know what the numbers say and do. I know that as much as I want this and feel exactly what you may feel, my future livelihood may and most likely will not be changed tomorrow. ALL I AM SAYING is that I am too excitedly afraid to wish for all of what I've been made to feel by reading all the posts here tonight.
I wish the best for all of us. I'm long - always have been and always will be! $1.00 won't be even close to the end of me - $100 maybe - but not $1.00.
Alright - here I go - I don't want to be the one to take the wind from our sails, (I hate when anyone plays "Devil's Advocate"), but I can only pray that the energy here isn't blown tomorrow the way so many of our days have been in the past. How many times did news come out that we thought deserved great upward PPS momentum - and never received it??? What if, as this information is spread via this news and not necessarily "in the eyes of the public", that not so much comes of it? Again, I adore Walt - and his company - and all the things I believe robotics will be in the future - but like another board member said earlier about 'not knowing how they'll sleep tonight', I'm afraid I'll go to bed with thoughts more pleasant than any I've ever had - and then be let down by the close of the market.
Let's stay level-headed and celebrate when the PPS supports the celebration!
I'm freaking out - actually I want to, but I'm afraid to! I'm afraid to get my hopes up. Has anyone here ever been through an opportunity in the stock market like this before?
Alright - I'm close to freaking out. I stepped away from my computer for a few short hours - AND THIS HAPPENS???
1100% on XKEM for a $7 mil settlement??? So does that mean it's not necessarily unimaginable for 10X that with a $70 mil settlement???
Can you SAVE a copy of the pages and submit the copy here?
SPIN: No problem, and from the last msg, no hard feeling from the past. Bygones it is!!!
I love those stats, and numbers don't lie. Likelihood and probability!!!!
Spin, do me a favor - I'm not able to PM here on IHUB. Please private message me with your email address so I can reply.
EXACTLY! RWT would be John Fitch, where ABB would be Robert Fulton. That was the analogy that I was making.
Fitch didn't have the financing to get his idea to market, and Fulton jumped in, stole his ideas and had the financing to get it to market in time.
By doing so, he received all the glory and/or recognition (and all that goes along with that) for being the creator of the steamboat.
PS: My son is in 3rd grade. He recently had an assignment to study this subject, which I helped him with. I found the likeness ironic and amusing!
SPIN: Thank you. Awesome info. It actually reminds me of the very old John Fitch versus Robert Fulton steamboat story.
Won't that seller be bummed when the 'music' starts playing....
Weo, CONGRATS on your new role (Board Moderator). I agree that no-one deserves it more than you. You've been a great advisor, and a friend (in this vicious stock world we live in). I do believe this was meant for you. You've taught me a lot, and I'm a more sound investor because of you. All boards deserve moderators that can offer such a thing to their participants. Thank you, and keep it flowing. I appreciate nothing more than honesty and forthrightness - you provide this and always have!
Harry, over the past year, I feel just as grateful to what you've provided so I don't want you to think (by any means) that I'd be glad to see you go. Not at all. I will miss your provisions to the board, but I do admit that tensions have been high and focus has been low over the past couple months. Nevertheless, thank you for the excellent job you've done!
Aries - EXCELLENT ADD on the board. She's always been our D.D. QUEEN. Great nomination, I'm grateful she accepted! (Go Girl Power, or as my kid says "Girls Rule, Boys Druel") :) Smiley face...!
Spin & Robot - No suprises here - best kept positions in town! You've always been great contributors so I wouldn't expect any less than the excellence you've provided for the time I've been monitoring/posting on this board.
Guys, good luck to all of us! We all want the same thing - this is just our forum to talk about what makes us tick, or smile, or hear the beautiful sound of much spare change in our wallets (when we're thinking positively)~!
COME ON, WALT!!! Drive it home. Your plans have been okay by me for a long time. Make it happen!
I'm glad you posted this Aries. I never have checked out Martin's blog before, before today that is. I'm glad I have. In fact, his newest (newer) post again mentions Coroware - stuff I like to see in any form of news.
My new book, "Professional Microsoft Robotics Studio" has just appeared on the J. S. Wiley and Sons online catalog here. The book is due out in August of this year. This nearly 800-page monster builds up three real-world robot projects using three different robots to teach basic robotics, MSRS technology, MSRS programming techniques, simulation, the Visual Programming Language and development best practices. One of the three featured robots is the little yellow fellow I posted about below. The book is aimed at hobbyists and educators and will appeal most to people with some programming experience up through advanced professional and graduate-level roboticists.
One chapter instructs readers how to build the yellow robot from parts in two weekends. We're hopeful that CoroWare will be able to offer the complete kit of parts to go along with the book. Supplemental Materials CD will also contain a special book-edition of the CoroWare PlusPack to help readers with some of the more advanced examples, particularly in simulation and computer vision.
The book features a Lynxmotion arm playing chess, an iRobot Create finding and watering household plants, and the yellow kit-built robot doing an outdoor autonomous GPS navigation and vision-recognition task similar to the SRS RoboMagellan task.
Special thanks go to the folks at Microsoft, CoroWare, Lynxmotion, iRobot, and DimensionEngineering for their support for this project.
GO MARTIN!!!!
Thanks Aries. That may be a month old, but it's the first time I've seen any promising reading material on Mesa in a very long time.
Thank you for that. I didn't. My post that was deleted was a simple complaint of this board, as of late, and all of the petty arguing that's been going on. That's why I thought it was so strange that it was deleted in the first place.
Well? Any opinion on my deleted post?
As always, thank you Harry.
Robotified, if you were the one who deleted my last (deleted) post, please point me to the rules section which I specifically violated... I've seen MUCH WORSE posted here than I wrote in that particular message.
I find all the deleted messages so interesting - no, let's not share all opinions with everyone - Is that your take on it, Harry? The message list has messages 2402 thru 2404, 2398 & 2399, 2388 thru 2396 ALL removed - and that's just on this most current "list of 50" posts. NICE, really nice.
I can't believe this is supposed to be a public forum where all should be equally allowed to speak our minds YET THOSE IN POWER CAN CHOICE WHOSE MINDS ARE TO BE HEARD.
I don't know when "the good stuff" will begin but I am a believer in what this company has going for it and where this market can go. I have been since day one and will continue to be regardless of market fluctuation.
You are right that it's unusual for Walt not to be diligent with responses, but with the holidays and typical daily work loads, I don't look at it as a cause for concern.
No personal offense intended but this is becoming way too "elementary" for me - both of you need to zip up your pants and stop this pathetic pissing contest. I have two very young children and even they have more 'grown up' conversations than this seems to be.
Weo, I've heard from Walt a couple times over the past month. Nothing is wrong there. I know they've just been busy and of course, there's been holiday time off.
Well said Robot! I second everything you've stated.
What do you mean that you "have a feeling", Harry? Do tell.
Care to share, Harry?
