SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO LAUNCHES FIVE NEW AND EXCLUSIVE MUSIC CHANNELS
65 commercial-free music channels will include Underground Garage, Elvis Radio, Vacation, Boombox and Area 63
NEW YORK - July 1, 2004 - SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that it will add five pioneering music channels to its channel lineup on Wednesday, July 7. The new channels span the musical spectrum of pop, rock and dance, and they increase the number of commercial-free music channels on SIRIUS to 65.
"We constantly enhance our lineup of commercial-free music channels to provide our subscribers with programming they can't get anywhere else," said Steve Blatter, SIRIUS VP of Music Programming. "That's because we have freedoms commercial radio can't imagine. While most radio programmers are juggling 18 commercial minutes per hour, SIRIUS programmers are listening to brand new music, seeking deeper music cuts and spending more time with their listeners."
The five new music channels are:
Elvis Radio // 13
Live from Graceland. The first officially-sanctioned radio station devoted 100% to Elvis songs; created in conjunction with Elvis Presley Enterprises. Priscilla Presley says, "Elvis was a great fan of all new technologies ... I'm sure Elvis would have been SIRIUS Satellite Radio's first subscriber."
Underground Garage // 25
Produced by E Street Band member and The Sopranos cast member "Little Steven" Van Zandt, Underground Garage is where you can hear the coolest rock 'n' roll records ever made. Whether they're 50 years old or 50 minutes old; if they're rocking, they're coming from the Underground Garage.
Boombox // 61
Like those great "back-in-the-day" sounds that bounced from your trusty portable radio, Boombox brings on a mix of party beats and old skool from artists such as Fatboy Slim, De la Soul, the Chemical Brothers and A Tribe Called Quest.
Area 63 // 63
We've heard the chants for trance, and it's now found alongside progressive house at Area 63, where artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto and Basement Jaxx play non-stop.
Vacation // 97
Escape to Vacation! Hear your favorites from the sands of the beach or the deck of the pool. Unwind to the continuous sounds of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys, Hawaiian music and the great sounds of reggae and calypso. It's paradise by the dashboard light!

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO AND GRACELAND CREATE ALL-ELVIS PRESLEY RADIO CHANNEL
"Elvis was a great fan of all new technologies in entertainment and communication. He was always the first person to get the latest gadgetry. I'm sure Elvis would have been SIRIUS Satellite Radio's first subscriber and would have had their rock, gospel and country programming going non-stop at home and on the road. It's such a great way to receive one's favorite music and I know he'd be beaming with pride at having his very own station." - Priscilla Presley
NEW YORK - June 28, 2004 - SIRIUS (NASDAQ: SIRI), the premium satellite radio provider known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and sports programming to cars and homes across the country, today announced the launch of Elvis Radio, a 24/7 all-Elvis Presley(R) radio channel. All day, every day, Elvis Radio will celebrate "The King of Rock 'n' Roll(R)" by airing the entire spectrum of his career: His extensive catalog of hit singles ... the rarities ... the 'B' sides ... the 'Sun' years ... the movie soundtracks ... and his wonderful concerts. Elvis Radio will be hosted daily by SIRIUS DJs from a specially designed studio in the Plaza at Graceland, Elvis' Memphis, TN home.
Elvis Radio will debut July 2 on SIRIUS with a spectacular live broadcast from Memphis, TN. Elvis fans from around the world are expected at Graceland and the Sun Studio during the Fourth of July weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elvis' first single, "That's All Right."
"Elvis Presley was a true pioneer, a man of many firsts in our world," said Jack Soden, President & CEO of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. "It seems natural for Elvis to be the first artist to have a satellite radio station exclusively devoted to his work. It's especially fitting that the launch of Elvis Radio happens to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the beginning of his career. What a great way to celebrate!"
Scott Greenstein, President of Entertainment and Sports, SIRIUS, said, "Fifty years after his first single, Elvis Presley still casts a spell over music lovers, songwriters and musicians everywhere; this is evidenced by the throngs of visitors to Graceland and the millions who buy his records each year. SIRIUS is committed to providing unique and innovative content to our subscribers that they can't get anywhere else - Elvis Radio is yet another example of that commitment."
The partnership between SIRIUS and Elvis Presley Enterprises calls for SIRIUS radios to be sold at Graceland gift shops and on Elvis.com. Elvis Radio will be available in all guest rooms at Memphis' Heartbreak Hotel and will play throughout the day in the public areas at Graceland. SIRIUS and Elvis Radio will be promoted on Elvis.com, to Elvis fan clubs and to Elvis e-mail lists.
"No artist in the history of recorded music made an impact on rock 'n' roll as Elvis did," said Steve Blatter, Vice President of Music Programming, SIRIUS. "Through his music, Elvis changed America and the world. We're proud to have worked closely with the Elvis estate to create Elvis Radio."
SIRIUS consultant Walter Sabo, who initiated the discussions for Elvis Radio said, "Rock radio exists because of Elvis - yet Elvis Presley's music can't be heard on very many radio stations anymore. Today, Elvis fans - and that's all of us - can hear Elvis, uncensored, from the hips up and down, on SIRIUS."

Should this power surge end and the stock weaken, we would be a buyer in the $15.00-$16.00 per share range.

Two-Time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady Signs on as SIRIUS Satellite Radio Spokesman
Monday June 14, 9:49 am ET
New England Patriots Quarterback to Promote 'NFL Sunday Drive' Lineup of Live NFL Games
NEW YORK, June 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS (Nasdaq: SIRI - News), the premium satellite radio provider known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and sports programming to cars and homes across the country, today announced that two-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots has signed on to promote SIRIUS' extensive lineup of NFL programming and play-by-play coverage.
(Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/19991118/NYTH125 )
Brady will star in SIRIUS TV commercials that will air nationwide during the summer and fall. He will also be featured in radio and print advertising and point of sale materials. The advertising will promote "NFL Sunday Drive," the comprehensive lineup of NFL games that brings football fans nationwide the entire NFL every week, as well as SIRIUS NFL Radio, the only radio channel devoted solely to the NFL. All NFL programming is included with every SIRIUS subscription at no extra charge.
Brady closed out the 2003 NFL season by leading the Patriots to their second Super Bowl victory in three years; he was named Super Bowl MVP in both appearances. Drafted out of Michigan in 2000, Brady was thrust into the national limelight in 2001 when in his first year as a starter he finished the season as the youngest quarterback ever to win a Super Bowl. This year, Brady engineered two scoring drives in the last three minutes of the Super Bowl to lead the Patriots to a thrilling 32-29 win over the Carolina Panthers.
"Tom Brady is among the most exciting and charismatic players on the field," said Scott Greenstein, President of Entertainment and Sports, SIRIUS. "Football fans first recognized Tom's 'can-do' attitude in the 2001 season. Now with his second Super Bowl MVP honor, he is a certified superstar who has separated himself from his peers. I know that Tom has been very selective with his endorsements and we're honored that he has chosen to affiliate with SIRIUS."
"I only choose to endorse quality brands I believe in and that fit my lifestyle. SIRIUS is one of these brands," said Brady, who is represented by Los Angeles-based Yee & Dubin Sports LLC. "I like that my friends and family back in the San Francisco Bay Area can hear all the NFL games -- especially Patriots' games. I also enjoy all kinds of music, so now I get to hear music channels that I just can't find on regular radio. I'm very much looking forward to growing my relationship with SIRIUS."

Original Music Television VJs Back Together on Sirius
Tuesday, May 11, 2004 10:00 AM ET
Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter and Nina Blackwood Start Another Revolution in 2004, This Time As Satellite Radio Hosts
NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI, news), known for delivering the very best commercial-free music and premium sports programming to cars, boats and homes across the U.S., has reunited three of MTV's original VJs -- Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter and Nina Blackwood -- as new hosts of its commercial-free, hit music channel Big '80s.
Goodman, Hunter and Blackwood, along with Martha Quinn and the late J.J. Jackson, were the five original faces and voices of MTV when it debuted on August 1, 1981. Their tenure as hosts of the nation's first music television network provided them with an in-depth and up-close perspective on the most popular rock/pop music and artists of the 1980s.
On SIRIUS, the three are now together again on commercial-free music stream Big '80s, which plays all the hit music of one of the most diverse and exciting decades in popular music history. Jackson was to have been one of the reunited hosts on Big '80s, but died suddenly on March 17, 2004.
Goodman, Hunter and Blackwood have all remained involved in entertainment and/or broadcasting since their VJ days during the 1980s:
Mark Goodman hosted radio programs on rock stations in Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, IL. He appeared in TV roles, and hosted TV shows and music specials, before directing music programming for the former Internet radio service Soundbreak.com. He is now producing and hosting the United Airlines audio channel "My Life - The Soundtrack," and, as a music supervisor, places music in movies and TV shows. He said, "I've been searching for the next revolution in music, and I've found it at SIRIUS. Playing music on Big '80s with my fellow former VJs Alan Hunter and Nina Blackwood is like having lightning strike twice. Though I must say there's a bitter sweetness to all this, since J.J. Jackson was supposed to be taking the ride with us. He was so looking forward to being on Big '80s before he died. But I think you get satellite radio for free in heaven, so I know he's listening."
Alan Hunter appeared in films and directed, hosted and/or voiced TV shows and commercials for companies such as Time/Life, Blockbuster, Chevrolet, ABC, Fox and the Sundance Channel. With brother Hugh, he formed Hunter Films, an independent film development company that received an Academy Award nomination in 2003 for a short film they co-produced entitled Johnny Flynton. He co-owns the entertainment complex WorkPlay in Birmingham, AL, where he is also executive director of the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival of independent films. Hunter said, "I'm jazzed about being on SIRIUS because it reminds me of my start on MTV -- a brand new medium, fab programming, limitless possibilities, irreverent atmosphere, really low pay and no wardrobe budget."
Nina Blackwood remained working in radio and television, providing music reports for "Entertainment Tonight" and co-hosting "Solid Gold." She now can be seen on TV doing music commentary for CNBC and "Access Hollywood," does voiceovers for radio and television, and hosts the nationally syndicated '80s music radio programs "Absolutely '80s" and "New Wave Nation." She said, "I am thrilled to be part of SIRIUS, along with my old pals Alan and Mark. There's not much I like more than playin' and talkin' about music. Also, being an animal lover, I adore the name 'SIRIUS' -- the dog star and brightest star in the sky!"
Steve Blatter, SIRIUS VP of Music Programming, said, "Mark, Alan and Nina helped pioneer a music and cultural phenomenon in the '80s. We're pleased to reunite these innovators and bring their talents to satellite radio exclusively on SIRIUS."

SIRIUS Satellite Radio Now Available as Factory Installed Option on All-New 2005 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum Vehicles
Monday, May 3, 2004 10:59 AM ET
New lower MSRP of $195 Includes One-Year Subscription
NEW YORK, May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI, news), known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and premium broadcast entertainment to cars and homes across the country, today announced that the Chrysler Group's all-new 2005 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum, will feature SIRIUS Satellite Radio as a factory-installed option, with an included one-year subscription, for $195 Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).
"This is very exciting for SIRIUS, and marks the first of our 2005 model year factory launches with Chrysler Group," said Doug Wilsterman, Senior Vice President of OEM Automotive for SIRIUS. "We are extremely pleased to participate in Chrysler Group's 2005 model year product offensive, and we believe that customers will recognize Chrysler's $195 pricing of the SIRIUS option as an industry standard and compelling value proposition."
The Chrysler 300's striking new proportions combine classic American design and power with proven DaimlerChrysler technology. Marking the brand's return to a rear-wheel-drive, V-8 powered automobile for the first time in more than a decade, the Chrysler 300 pays homage, albeit in a very contemporary way, to the first "letter series" Chrysler 300s, which combined performance and prestige like no other vehicle at the time.
The Dodge Magnum is the new shape of American muscle, celebrating what American muscle cars were in the past, but with a design and packaging configuration that charges into the future. This category of vehicle offers the right formula of proportions, packaging, performance and appearance that set them far apart from the competition.
"The Chrysler Group is pleased to offer such a competitively priced entertainment package that will enhance our customers driving experience," said Jack Withrow, Director of Vehicle Entertainment and Communications for the Chrysler Group.
All Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum customers will be able to order SIRIUS as a factory-installed option for $195, including a one-year subscription with access to SIRIUS' over 60 commercial-free music channels and more than 50 news, sports, entertainment, traffic and weather channels. As an additional benefit offered exclusively to Chrysler customers, there is no activation fee to initiate the service after vehicle delivery. Customers also may stream SIRIUS music programming over a high-speed internet connection at their homes or offices at no additional charge.
Consumers selecting the SIRIUS Satellite Radio option in their Chrysler 300 or Dodge Magnum will receive a small, mouse-like antenna mounted to the roof of the vehicle. Station selection with the radio is easy, using the same familiar method as selecting an AM or FM station. Consumers will be able to scan channels or select pre-set buttons for their favorite channels. Consumers will also be able to search both by music category and channel, which will be displayed on the radio screen.

Sirius Kicks Off NFL Relationship With Comprehensive Draft Coverage
Tuesday, April 27, 2004 12:40 PM ET
SIRIUS Live Programming, Marketing Activity Surround Madison Square Garden in New York for NFL Draft
NEW YORK, April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI, news) finished the weekend with radio's most comprehensive coverage of the NFL Draft. SIRIUS produced more than 10 hours of live draft coverage on Saturday and Sunday. Coverage of the first-round picks was hosted by Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms and SIRIUS Director of NFL Programming Steve Cohen. That programming was enhanced with additional draft reporting by SIRIUS partners ESPN Radio and others.
SIRIUS also connected with football fans who attended the draft proceedings at Madison Square Garden. The SIRIUS brand was visible from many angles at the Garden, most notably on the electronic signboard at the main entrance to the venue. The highly visible sign -- which is in view of thousands of shoppers, pedestrians, Penn Station commuters and Madison Square Garden patrons -- was accompanied by an inflatable version of the SIRIUS dog logo.
The NFL Draft was a four-day affair for draft picks and media. SIRIUS kicked off its weekend by hosting a media reception at the SIRIUS national broadcast headquarters. Both local and visiting media attended the reception along with NFL Hall of Famers Kellen Winslow, Sr. and Mike Haynes. Several music stars also graced the event, including Bruce Springsteen E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt, celebrated rock guitarist Joe Satriani and pioneering rap artist Kurtis Blow.
On Draft Day, all six of the first-round draft picks who were present in Madison Square Garden appeared live on SIRIUS within minutes of their selections. No. 1 pick Eli Manning explained to Simms and Cohen his position regarding his refusal to play for the San Diego Chargers.

NEW YORK, April 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI, news), known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and premium sports programming to cars and homes across the country, today announced first quarter 2004 financial and operating results.

As of March 31, 2004, SIRIUS had 351,663 subscribers. This represents a net subscriber addition of 90,602 during the quarter, a 138% increase over the net subscriber additions reported by the company at March 31, 2003.
During the first quarter of 2004, SIRIUS announced several new distribution and programming agreements, which are expected to make SIRIUS available through over 20,000 locations and solidify the company's position as the leader in commercial-free music and sports offerings. SIRIUS continued to experience significant gains in the retail aftermarket channel, fueled by strong post-holiday activations, increased product availability, and strengthening consumer awareness. During the quarter, SIRIUS added more than 65,500 subscribers from the retail aftermarket channel, 154% more than were activated in the first quarter of 2003. SIRIUS products, including five different Plug-&-Play receivers and two transportable boom-boxes, are currently available nationwide.
"On the heels of an excellent holiday selling season, we had a very strong first quarter at retail, increasing our share of satellite radio retail aftermarket sales to approximately 41% at the end of February, according to market information company The NPD Group. That's a doubling of our retail share since we introduced our first Plug-&-Play products last June," said Joseph P. Clayton, President and CEO, SIRIUS. "With 94% reporting strong satisfaction, our customers are telling us that SIRIUS is a service they can't live without. These high satisfaction ratings coupled with our increased awareness and availability bode very well for SIRIUS' future."
During the first quarter of 2004, SIRIUS added over 24,000 subscribers through its automotive, boating and trucking relationships. Recently, exclusive automotive partner DaimlerChrysler announced an extensive factory installation program for SIRIUS beginning with eleven Model Year 2005 vehicle lines. SIRIUS expects to achieve over 500,000 subscribers from these factory programs by mid 2006. SIRIUS is already offered today as a factory or dealer installed option on 50 different vehicle models from DaimlerChrysler, Ford, BMW, Nissan, Infiniti and Audi. In 2004, SIRIUS expects to be available on over 80 vehicle models from these partners, with 50 of these being factory installation programs.

SIRIUS defines adjusted loss from operations as loss from operations before depreciation expense, non-cash stock compensation expense, and expense for equity securities granted to third parties. Adjusted loss from operations is not a measure of financial performance under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States. SIRIUS believes adjusted loss from operations is useful to investors because it represents operating expenses of the company excluding the effects of non-cash items. Because adjusted loss from operations is not a measurement determined in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States and is thus susceptible to varying calculations, adjusted loss from operations as presented may not be comparable to other similarly titled measures of other companies.
SIRIUS defines average monthly revenue per subscriber, or ARPU, as the total earned subscription revenue and activation revenue during the period, over the daily weighted average number of subscribers for the period. ARPU is not a measure of financial performance under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States and should not be considered in isolation or as a substitute for measures of performance prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.
SIRIUS defines subscriber acquisition costs, or SAC, as costs of incentives for the purchase, installation, and activation of SIRIUS radios, as well as subsidies paid to radio and chipset manufacturers, automakers and retailers and the negative margin on equipment sales. SAC is not a measure of financial performance under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States and should not be considered in isolation or as a substitute for measures of performance prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.

Mercedes-Benz Announces Availability of Sirius Satellite Radio

SIRIUS Satellite Radio Provides an Enhanced Audio Experience
MONTVALE, N.J. and NEW YORK, April 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mercedes-Benz USA and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI, news) are pleased to announce availability of the premier satellite radio service as a dealer installed option for most model year 2004 and newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles at authorized dealerships in the contiguous United States.
SIRIUS Satellite Radio offers multiple benefits over conventional FM and AM radio. Any one of the SIRIUS satellite radio channels can be tuned in from coast to coast, enabling the listener to drive across the country without having to change the station. Additionally, SIRIUS does not rely on advertising dollars to support its music, allowing customers to enjoy the wide variety of content without commercial interruptions.
The equipment required to receive SIRIUS satellite radio is specifically engineered for each Mercedes-Benz model, and is fully integrated into the Mercedes-Benz audio system. This allows the customer to enjoy pure digital sound, and to view content information from SIRIUS -- such as title and artist name of the music that is being played -- live on the head-unit display. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz supplied equipment is fully backed by the Mercedes-Benz new car limited warranty, which covers the equipment for up to 4 years. If the customer chooses to have SIRIUS installed after initial delivery, the Mercedes-Benz warranty covers the equipment for the remainder of the new car limited warranty, or one year, whichever is greater.
SIRIUS satellite radio is available as a dealer installed option on most 2004 and newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles (with the exception of '04 SLK-Class and C-Class Coupe, and early production model year '04 M-Class). SIRIUS satellite radio can be installed by authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships for $679 plus installation, which includes a one year paid subscription plus two bonus months of free service for a total of 14 months of service. SIRIUS installation can also be included in a customer's lease, making satellite radio even more affordable.
"Mercedes-Benz is very excited about the introduction of SIRIUS satellite radio and the ability to provide our customers with a premium audio experience," said Michelle Cervantez, Mercedes-Benz Vice-President of Marketing.
"SIRIUS and Mercedes-Benz are all about enhancing the driving experience," said Doug Wilsterman, Senior Vice President, Automotive OEM, for SIRIUS. "Like many others on the road today, Mercedes-Benz drivers will now be able to experience for themselves the pleasures of 100% commercial-free music, news, entertainment and unequalled sports coverage, including NBA, NHL and NFL play- by-play games."

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GenoMed Inc. ("the Company" or "GenoMed")(National Quotation Bureau's Pink Sheets Symbol GMED) announced today that the Company has secured an additional $900,000 in equity financing from Advanced Optics Electronics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ADOT, news). This financing is separate and in addition to the up to $500,000 financing secured by the Company in October 2003 (see company press release of October 22, 2003).
Terms of the Agreement call for a capital investment into GenoMed of $900,000 in exchange for restricted common shares of GenoMed at a 25% discount to market. The financing Agreement will be available for public review within the Company's next filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) at http://www.sec.gov .
Dr. David Moskowitz, GenoMed's CEO and Chief Medical Officer said, "I am pleased to report to the shareholders of our Company that we have secured financing that will allow the Company to accelerate our search for new disease genes, while also spreading the word about diseases we can manage based on the 'master' disease gene we've already found."
Dr. Moskowitz continued, "The capital infusion will be spent mostly on genotyping, sample collection, and data analysis. We shall also commit some money to educating the public about being able to prevent 90% of kidney failure in this country, as well as significantly delay the progression of emphysema. Positive results for West Nile virus encephalitis, psoriasis, and late stage pancreatic cancer will be published soon. Trials are in progress for a number of diseases, including SARS and the flu."
Dr. Moskowitz ended by saying, "I believe this transaction is extremely fair. It limits the dilution to our existing shareholders as the Company moves forward."
