TINO is a stock that I am buying. There are a few sub-penny stocks that really look attractive
There certainly is substance.
It is an OTC company that is profitable. It is pursuing mineral rights.
5 years ago Nickel would not matter much. Now it does, so I refer to that as good timing, or good luck.
I like this company. They are working on good things. And Darnell picks up the phone. It is very nice to speak to a CEO. I sense he is a good person.
Fortune Nickel has great timing. Maybe it's just luck, but we are all lucky now and then. Put simply, Fortune is at the right place at the right time.
This Timmins area is so rich in nickel, that there are already significant facilities in the area that HTSC can use for processing. For example, Kidd Creek has a smelter nearby. Fortune can use that smelter.
When it built its plant, Kidd Creek not only constructed a modern, functional mill and smelter; it had people in mind. It recognized that if its workers were satisfied with their surroundings and carried out their jobs in a healthy environment, there would be far fewer problems. As an added bonus, they would gain a reputation for dependability and for being the producers of a premium product.
HTSC is already profitable, and it jumped on these claims ASAP when they saw they were available. Someone must have let them expire because they had plenty of other claims and these were in the Nickel area. But nickel is the hot Tesla mineral. HTSC may simply be lucky and be in the right place at the right time. All I know is, I own a load of this stock and I am not selling.
We know the sales will be great. I am patient though. If I remember correctly the company must consolidate 3 subsidiaries, two are foreign. That doesn't usually happen in 30 days -- more like 45 days
Wow! early financials, Q2 profits, great sales for a short period. $CBDD is growing up! Read the notes to the consolidated statements, Foreign currency translation, business combination, segments and everything. Great effort by the management team to issue such a complex quarterly report in just 20 days after the end of the quarter. I see they use Executive Industries for accounting services, which is a division of a public company. I wish all my OTC stocks used that accounting firm.
Nice e-ore! It is good to see that Deuce Drone is moving forward well. VSTR owned 2,000,000 shares of it at Jan 31st, and the shares are selling now for a dollar.
I believe $VSTR now owns 2,350,000 shares. That is $2,350,000, and yet the stock is at less than a penny. Simply bizarre. Yes, I bought today. It was hard to buy anything else today.
Tough day today for every stock. I wonder why VSTR is not on a breakout board today. We could use some fresh eyes.
VSTR has no CDs, no warrants, no preferred stock, no options, no overhang, and they are profitable, and they own shares in private companies that are valued at zero dollars on their books.
It seems to me that when this stock moves up, it will be increasing by leaps and bounds.
$VSTR - the younger hipper version of VC
Great article in early investing today. It gives us vision into why $VSTR chose to engage with equity based crowdfunding portals. (And yes, it has paid off financially. Did you read that post today about Deuce Drone? $VSTR's investment was worth $700,000 in January, and now it is worth $2 million, as Deuce Drone is selling shares at $1.00 per share, and VSTR owns 2 million shares.)
The article discusses the democratization of fund raising; it says:
Crowdfunding can't fix the social ills of this country by itself. But it can be part of the solution. New companies -- with 99% of their growth ahead of them -- are the economic engine of the U.S.
Per dollar of revenue, they hire more people than any other group of companies. They provide a pathway for entrepreneurial citizens of any background and race to participate in our economy and reap the profits that come with entrepreneurial success. Crowdfunding helps provide capital to the most deserving startups -- especially those beyond San Francisco.
I think of crowdfunding as the younger, hipper and fairer cousin of venture capital investing. Especially these days, the fairness part means something.
As an outsider to the tight-knit circle of Silicon Valley investors, crowdfunding resonates with me. It was purposely set up (in the JOBS Act of 2012) to democratize startup investing. Congress rightly decided that everyone should have the ability to invest in startups.
In the decades leading up to 2012, that was far from the case. Startups had made hundreds of Americans enormously wealthy. But it was a very insular community. It was mostly white men in Silicon Valley investing in startups begun and operated by white men in Silicon Valley.
The vast majority of Americans were shut out. And that included minorities, who were underrepresented among both VC firms and among startups seeking money from those firms.
Crowdfunding has been much better. Fairness and inclusiveness are built into the DNA of crowdfunding. Crowdfunding democratizes access to capital. And it gives me the freedom to be objective and discerning in selecting the best startups for Early Investing's community of investors. Diversity comes naturally.
I believe in American exceptionalism. I believe foremost that Americans are exceptional entrepreneurs and innovators. That they have a knack for creating amazing companies. And crowdfunding aims to leverage this exceptionalism. It assumes that no one group has a monopoly on how to build a dominating company. So we have to keep the process as inclusive as possible.
We own 7% of Jason's company and 17% of Chris' company. Valuesetters is packed with hidden value. These guys or Deuce Drones can ignite this stock to a dime IMHO.
Remember, no convertible stock or debt. When this thing blows, there are no shares hitting us in the face.
we were trading at 1.5 cents when it was issued. It was fully vested when it was issued, so they had to use the current market price.
If you look closely, for some contracts they vest over time -- then the comp is valued at every vesting date. So if the new Biz Dev director is very successful, her stock will be an even larger charge to earnings. And yet, YTD earnings are $1,164,100. So they are earning plenty and doing a great job at managing the business.
And they apparently have a new women they just added. They hired a Director of Biz Dev (see subsequent events). This is great, then Coreen and Cecilia can do the work while the new director focuses on sales.
$VSTR record earnings just posted YTD earnings of $1,162,100
We were also pleased to see strong performance by our clients and portfolio companies. KingsCrowd, for example, recently maxed out its equity offering on the Netcapital platform, raising over $1 million. It is gratifying to see such strong demand from investors for the equity in one of our valued portfolio holdings,” added Ms. Lenk. “Meanwhile, the Deuce Drone offering is off to a strong start and is almost halfway toward its goal in just a few, short weeks. We look forward to strong continued performance from KingsCrowd and Deuce Drone and remain optimistic about the future of ValueSetters and its portfolio of investments.”

$VSTR YTD profits are $1,162,100 -- not sales, I said profits.
This is the only sub penny stock that I now with:
positive book value of over $1 million
no convertibles or derivatives
Solid and consistent management
The PPS cannot possibly remain this low. A screaming buy down here
5th profitable quarter in a row, and they are hitting the cover off the ball.

$VSTR now doing Drones!
Ross and Burton are heavyweights. This is great news that they picked VSTR
https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/VSTR/news/story?e&id=1524039
“We have chosen to work with ValueSetters on this exciting project due to their deep network of business relationships and world-class technology expertise,” Mr. Ross added. “We are excited to bring this vision to life together and significantly enhance the performance of our retail clients.”
As President and CEO of Burton Property Group (BPG), one of the largest real estate development firms in South Alabama, Phillip Burton currently manages a $200 million portfolio throughout the southeast. Prior to his current role, Mr. Burton served as President/CEO of BBMC/MCS Investments, Inc. He is also a founder of the Beverly Burton Scholarship Trust, named in honor of his late mother, which provides college scholarship opportunities to the Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year recipients. He is also a board member of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and University of South Alabama’s Foundation for Research and Commercialization, as well as a member of the YPO Southeastern Chapter. Mr. Burton attended the University of South Alabama.
Mr. Ross has 30 years of aerospace and engineering management experience. Former President and CEO of Continental Aerospace Technologies, Ross is credited with leading the company in five successful acquisitions to add technology and additional product lines valued in excess of $40 million. Prior to his role at Continental, Mr. Ross was President of Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of thermoelectric, electrolytic hydrogen generation, and fuel cell devices. Mr. Ross is a former member of the Advisory Panel to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Laboratory Hydrogen Program Review Team and of the U. S. Congress Office of Technology Assessment Advisory Panel for the Review of Advanced Automotive Technology. He is also the former President of the U.S. Fuel Cell Council. Mr. Ross holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
Deuce Drone shows again that their clients are significant entities.
Like I said:
Kingscrowd has raised $687,877 so far on netcapital
https://netcapital.com/companies/kingscrowd
If I ever need to raise money, I am going to VSTR for their consulting service
I hope they own some Deuce Drone Units. Have you seen how well Kingscrowd is doing?
Kingscrowd has raised $687,877 so far on netcapital
https://netcapital.com/companies/kingscrowd
And VSTR owns how much? Maybe 15% of Kingscrowd?
Their portfolio is going to blow us away as it matures.
I need to buy more of this. It is bizarre that it is less than a penny. It is profitable, it has book value and it has investments in companies that are recorded as $0 on its balance sheet (There is no mark-to-market on securities if they were never booked due to accounting treatments)
$VSTR may be the stock of the year.
They obviously have BIG plans for the stock, given that the execs aren't taking a cash salary. I need to buy more today.

I received an email from ihub today announcing the Q2 $VSTR profits and conference call at noon. I hope we have a good turnout.
I see the slide show is up and the 8K was filed too
$VSTR has huge earnings. This company executes. I have never seen a small cap wipe out $2.5 million of shareholders' deficit in 2 years. No convertible debentures, no preferred stock. They do things the old fashioned way, they execute. Great revenues, solid profits and investment holdings that could be enormous.
They own about 7% of a private equity funding portal, netcapital.com
All the online brokers have gone to zero % commission. So what's going to happen? The private equity platforms, such as Netcapital, are going to be bought up, because they can charge commissions. Netcapital charges 4.9%, Trucrowd is charging 7%.
I believes the holdings of $VSTR, such as netcapital and kingscrowd are going to be significant.

$VSTR HUGE earnings 10Q is filed.
I am totally impressed. In 6 months they turned a shareholders' deficit of $865,258 into shareholders’ equity of $638,699
Their earnings release is probably coming out any minute
This company now has book value!!

I don't understand why you say they didn't change? They have new management, a new person at the top running the show, right? That was in the last press release. Adrian is obviously trying to do something. If I look on youtube, they have videos from people form 8 years ago, some guy named Phil.
Now they have a new President of Noveda, Al, and some good people on the advisory board
Nice for $VSTR! I get the Kingscrowd subscription, and yes, Chris Lustrino is a bundle of energy. I hope VSTR was working with him on this project. We need more ownership of Kingscrowd!
BTW, I see they are in the middle of a Reg CF raise on netcapital. That should shoot up with this announcement. We should track it.
$201,461 raised as of right now
https://netcapital.com/companies/kingscrowd
I don't know the past story, or what Dufort does or doesn't do. I have met Al Matos, the Noveda President, once, and he is a solid and experienced utility executive (PSE&G I think?). What I think the big play is here, is Noveda going international. It looks to me like Adrian has a deal with Ploybrite Norge, and this Noveda technology can run anywhere. So, like I said, if it's a 5 bagger, I am happy. I don't think they are ready to set the world on fire, but maybe in 3 months we can see what they have done.
That's not good to hear, but did you see the team?
https://idgc.io/our-team/
It's hard to believe these people are on the web page and are all scammers. I think it is more like they have new blood and are trying to do something.
Either way, I should be able to ride this for a 5-bagger. I don't think the stock price is going to a penny, but they are clearly trying to bring an existing product into a public entity.
If they are filing, they have plans to do something. I am new to this company, but I am all for energy monitoring. The triple ones are slowly being bought up, so I keep picking up a million here and there. I like the Noveda website. They must have some news or new customers in the pipeline. Otherwise, why even bother filing the Q3 info?
Schwab won't let you buy more than 999,999 at a time. Very frustrating
That's a nice link Jedi
This is the piece I am interested in:
-Noveda Technologies
Noveda Technologies – Our patented software as a service (SaaS) solutions help reduce energy and water usage, optimize performance of renewable energy systems, and reduce the carbon footprint for customers across commercial/retail, industrial, government, education, and utility sectors.
Noveda has serious IP and nasty customers. This is a real 10-year old business.
https://noveda.com/
lol, but yes, I noticed this stock today and I bought. Interesting product. It seems like the COS would be very low because it runs over the Internet and the product is intellectual property.
I will have some friends keep an eye on this one too.
Kingscrowd looks like a sweet deal. It is a good example of a VSTR client, and what VSTR can do to help companies in the capital markets.
https://netcapital.com/companies/kingscrowd
Looks like one of the equity investments owned by VSTR is a hot product.
Kingscrowd, which we own a nice piece of, is being recommended by one of the popular rating firms, Angels & Entrepreneurs. Here is the newsletter:
Today, we're featuring a startup called KingsCrowd. It's the first data-driven ratings and analytics platform for online private market deals like the ones we feature to you every month.
KingsCrowd's platform makes it easy to make quick, informed decisions in the online private markets by aggregating data from the 45+ online private equity platforms and delivering that data in a simple and refined way.
If you're scratching your head right now, I'll just say this: KingsCrowd is an extremely powerful tool that I think could help everyone make better investment decisions. It's not a competitor of the Angels & Entrepreneurs Network - it's a perfect complement.
Think about it this way... My team and I present you with multiple deals per month. But that doesn't mean you're limited to investing only in those we present. Some of you may want to find one or two additional startups to invest in on your own - or maybe you want to try your hand at solo investing and hone your skills.
Now you're faced with a problem: there are nearly 50 platforms hosting these raises, and it's nearly impossible to keep track of all the relevant information you'd need to narrow down your search.
That's where KingsCrowd comes in. Using their clean, modern web portal, you can view and compare hundreds of private market listings. They even rank and categorize each offering using a curated due diligence process.
This startup is raising up to $1 million to expand their offerings, launch an institutional-grade ratings platform, and create portfolio management tools for investors to store and track their data.
A week from now, I'll be sitting down with founder and CEO Chris Lustrino. I have questions about KingsCrowd's revenue projections - not to mention how Chris and his team plan to expand their user base.
As always, if there's anything you want to know about this startup or its team, don't hesitate to ask in the Deal Forum. I'll be sure to bring the best questions with me when it's time to put Chris in the hot seat.
I'll be back soon with more updates.
Until next time,
Neil Patel
There's nothing wrong with this company, except that it is undervalued and does not have enough eyes on it. Anything less than a penny is a steal of a deal (hey, where is that poster?)
This is not your father's penny stock with glib management telling us how great they are. These are professionals who put their heads down and work. I will take execution and value over hype. But it would be fun to have some hype for a few weeks.
We gamblers need to see excitement and we need to be reminded of the dream. It is more exciting when more people are posting and have the chance to evaluate press releases and new developments.
$VSTR is still one of my top five companies. No convertible debentures, no preferred stock, people building a balance sheet. $90,000 in cash from one customer in August. Taking equity in companies like Rivets and Netcapital.
The private equity markets are a huge opportunity and they are in the middle of it
Time to bring the boys back. This stock should not be sub penny
I don't use Facebook anymore for my business either. It's a waste of time. (yes, they should probably delete their FB page) Noveda has large customers, not individual consumers. You don't buy their energy monitoring system for your house. Facebook is a waste of time for them.
IMHO it is time to gamble here and buy up the 1s.
I don't get to buy too many stocks at this price, but it sure does feel good when i sell them.
Noveda does not use facebook because they sell through channel partners. FB is more for business to consumer or business to small business. Noveda has large customers with large buildings
