It's not much different than a margin call. It's not something that the company can initiate. Although the company can request that the share lenders recall the shares they have out on loan, it's up to the lenders if they wish to honor that request.
Totally hilarious! Just the kind of thing we're talking about. My original post still up, but Joemags reply removed. Total busybodies on the admin staff.
Have to balance the equation. if the other 99% of shareholders own the other 90% of the float, then 990% of shareholders own 900% of the float.
Good luck to everyone on here. Hope we see our distribution soon.
I may be getting suspended again. Ihub is a total shitstain. Can't stand how the admins protect the trolls and help harass us regular users.
If you don't hear from me, that's why!
I'm curious how accurate the count can be through Plaid. Aside from it being voluntary and not ALL shares will be counted. I get that part and appreciate the accuracy that can be achieved through statistical sampling.
However, when AMC conducts a vote they choose a date and collect all the data from that particular day. It's a snapshot in time.
If people submit info through Plaid over days or weeks, how does Plaid sort that data to prevent double counting shares that are being actively traded over the period the count is being conducted?
Not FUD. Genuinely curious how this is achieved.
I've explained it twice. You just don't know what you're talking about.
It doesn't have to. That discrepancy is using flawed numbers. It's non-existent.
I already demonstrated that MC is arrived at by using the closing SP from July 2. RH will update sometime this week and it will be accurate again, for 1 day.
Mio is official German abbreviation for million.
It's not nitpicky to point out someone is mixing live, current data with non-current data to arrive at a bogus result.
I say bogus because if the count on the naked shorts ever comes to light, we all know it's waaaaay more than 200 mil.

I understand the intent. It's just bad DD, using numbers that are not current and don't mean what he thinks they mean.
Let's hope you're finally right for once!
This doesn't mean anything. None of these trading platforms update MC live through out the day as SP changes. I don't it even updates daily with the daily close price.
E-trade still shows 450.28 mil OS and 18.58 bil MC. 4th grade math makes that a $41+ SP.
He shouldn't be using a fluid number to reverse engineer a static share count. What share count is RH using? They must have it somewhere, current or not. That's the only way they can come up with a MC. You can just as easily divide their stated MC by the official 513 mil OS to arrive at a $51 SP which was the close price on 7/2. Maybe they only update monthly. Wouldn't be surprised if it lines up better after close tomorrow.
They specify vote in the 8K because certain classes of shares may have a different weight on their vote versus shares. But our common shares for AMC are one share equals one vote.
Maybe. If they can figure out how to make money without doing the same crap they've been doing for years to get them in this pickle.
Generally they use algorithm to post estimated dates based on past history. Then they will update as official dates are announced.
How original
I agree with this assessment. Have said before he never finishes a point, just drifts off and gets distracted by new thoughts before finishing the previous ones.
Don't think he is stupid though. He seems intentionally cryptic.
I think of him as LouAnon. Lots of "trust the plan" and no evidence
But what a sad commentary on our system. Google can just do the math and rip off tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in value knowing the highest damages ever awarded was only $4.5 billion.
There should be no risk vs reward analysis for crime. The risk should always outweigh the reward.
With that kind of enforcement timeline we can hope to squeeze by 2030?
Kenny G can probably come up with $700k just digging under his couch cushions.
That sounds like a company that's going places!
This slow steady climb is enough to be impressive, but not quite enough to trip most scanners.
FUX YEAH IT WILL!!!

Point taken
No substance, all semantics
What's ugly about it? It's held up pretty well considering how fast it jumped.
It can retest $32, $20, even $14 and it's still a healthy chart. But if it bounces off of any of those you better buckle up.
Oops, just realized I'm thinking of Army of Darkness. But still, would go see Evil Dead again too!
I'd go see it. Saw that in the theater 3 times in one day on original release.
"Gimme some sugar baby!"
I like the idea of $5 billion up front and $2 billion per year for 10 years.
Or pony up $15 billion right now and be done with it.
A difference of $20/sh would be the obvious answer. Yes, they had that chance before. But 2 months later maybe some shorts are finally getting smart.
LOL stick to the numbers.
No, accusing people of collusion who buy long and openly talk about it is a weak argument. It's a commonly known equation that buying increases price and selling lowers it. And a simple one at that
The institutional Street players hide their actions and intent through deals and financial instruments magnitudes more complicated and corrupt than anything retail shlubs engage in or even understand.
Bull or bullsh*t? Those 2 clowns take longer to make a point than Lou does!
Then why are you suddenly posting here?
Fine by me. All that info was posted already before a requested mod status. Thought I would have time to help keep page updated. Just hasn't worked out that way.
Thanks for offering.
I got pissed at motley fool about 10 years ago. Realized they were worthless trash then. Seems they have only gotten worse.
And I think current debt prevents dividend from being paid.
Or possibly even the final nail in their cake.
That would be me. Would love to see huge cash awards up front. Anything NLST received will be well owed.
These awards will serve to solidify NLST claim in the market place and force payment on tech being used, putting an end to infringement once and for all. But also providing resources to expand production and distribution to where it should have been by now.
I still see finalizing these claims as a jumping off point to being as big as AMD or NVDA in a few years. I'm not gonna sell off before then. As I have mentioned before, I used to have NVDA when it was $10. Sold within a few months for a nice 20% gain. Not making that mistake again.
I agree, and I posted regarding those numbers several weeks ago. I think they are intentionally unreasonable to give everyone a target past whatever the actual cap is going to be to make sure hedgie pays top price for our shares.
For some imagination is just a word to use and not an activity to practice.
