ENT new pick 15% yield - mentioned in HG Wellington letter this week
Fortune has been the most accurate in predicting the events that have occurred during the past 1 year +. The company is NOT the same it was even six months ago, we have allegedly sold off centerline not to mention countless other hype with no basis from the comp, we still have no reason to believe anything the company releases in their PR's and FORTUNE predicted all of this. Sometimes you have to just admit that you were wrong and someone else was right. It burns to loose money but thats the risk in betting on a penny stock.
Cheers.
thoughts on AT&T going forward - specifically the impact of IPHONE & current exclusive network... 40% of iphone purchasers = new to AT&T... this may be the resurgence of this company. This stock may have the potential to trade near par in the next 12-18 months - again - mvho -
Thoughts comments please?
Thanks!

DETROIT -- General Motors Corp. on Thursday reported a 90% decline in first-quarter profit, as housing-market weakness weighed on the auto maker's overall results and the company's core North American operations continued losing money despite cost cuts.
:P
centerline may not have been generating the revenues GTE claimed... thus the Audit of "accounting procedures" ... it wouldn't really be that surprising?
Question for anyone -- A while back I brought up a REIT: FSP (commercial/industrial) I have been following it since. I am trying to make sense of recent trading and have no clue. Was seriously considering investing a solid chunk of change here (15-20% of portfolio) but now I am hesitant. They appear to be excellent on cash flow, and have little debt... is it simple lack of coverage or is there some greater risks I'm missing? Highly appreciate anyones time/feeling on this!
Thanks
cd
I am Chris. Me like you. Slow trading, WE should post financial s if we ever plan to...

Asia Gradually Restores Services
After Telecom Network Disruption
By JEFFREY NG, ERNEST KONG and YUN-HEE KIM
December 28, 2006 5:47 a.m.
HONG KONG -- Telecommunications services across Asia were gradually being restored Thursday after an earthquake off the coast of southern Taiwan two days ago damaged seven undersea cables.
But the severe disruption to Asia's telecommunications network has already cost at least one of the region's telecom operators millions of dollars in lost revenue, and those losses threaten to rise in the weeks it will take to fully repair the damage.
Many telecom operators were still reporting some disruptions in Internet access and phone services, although the partial restoration of service was accomplished by rerouting traffic over undamaged cables and via satellites.
WALL STREET JOURNAL VIDEO

WSJ's Ian McDonald explains how an earthquake off the coast of Taiwan may affect shares of Asian telecoms.
Most international Internet data and voice phone calls are transmitted as pulses of light via the hundreds of undersea fiber optic cables that crisscross the globe. The cables, which can cost hundreds of millions of dollars, are typically owned by consortia of telecom companies, who share costs and capacity. While the clusters of glass fibers are enclosed in protective material, they remain vulnerable to undersea earthquakes, fishing trawlers and ship anchors. There are also many choke points around the globe, including the vicinity of Tuesday's earthquake, where a number of key cables converge.
The Hong Kong government said voice calls, including long distance and roaming mobile-phone calls have "nearly returned back to normal." "It's unprecedented that all seven cable systems suffered damage at the same time," said Au Man-ho, director-general of the Office of the Telecommunications Authority.
