Babylonian justice combined with a pluralistic society at that..
They live in harmony with one another.. are raised to live in harmony. We on the other hand seem to do everything possible to divide and corrupt.
Hey, isn't that why Rome fell?
But are you factoring in a possible Equity raise?
I think after the SIAF CC folks will better understand what is going on with SIAF..
That 40% JV they have with Sanjing (which is one of the largest State owned Ag companies in China with $4B in assets) is planning to become the largest and highest quality Beef producer in China.
I don't think many under stand the scope of that.. They are partnered with an Ag Company with $4B in assets and the China government at their side..
I simply see no comparison, but yes I have spent a full year learning and speaking with the CEO so obviously I understand the business plan probably better than most.
One of their directors, Mr. Sun Min, the guy running the Dairy operation, is on the Government committee of Fengling and Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Beijing..
These guys are deeply rooted into China politics and government officials.. that is why I think SIAF > CKGT
CKGT I'm just not sold on these Cactus cigarettes and it's going to take a capital raise at some point to move the plan forward which will be dilution to shareholders.
I don't really believe CKGT will achieve a $.40 EPS for 2009. I can't see $.13 EPS in last quarter. I also think CKGT will miss that guidance and since the company is trading well above book it will cause a short term sell off which will need to recover.
I am long on CKGT.. don't get me wrong, but I see disappointment before happiness with CKGT. I think long term it is a genuine winner.. but I'm not going to be scared to flip out when the time comes because I know it will eventually have a healthy pull back.
I take into account far more than just fundamentals. I was once a stock promoter/IR guy so I know that sentiment and emotion play an even greater role.
With CKGT, they have set the bar high in regards to forward guidance. In my opinion they have done so to create a short term positive effect on their share price.. most likely in order to gain altitude for an offering.
Unlike listed companies, OTCBB's don't normally do well on PIPE offerings due to limited liquidity. I believe guidance will be missed, a PIPE deal will be entered into and this will impact the mood of the market. The mood of the market is a powerful thing.
With SIAF, you have a company that has already announced a dividend, which I believe will be small but designed to show strength. SIAF requires little to no capital because its projects are all mostly JV's in which the Government picks up the tab. Also, I believe Beef and dairy obviously have a larger market potential than cactus cigs.
You are also going to see a more positive mood as watchign a pink up list to the OTCBB is far more exciting to small cap investors than a OTCBB move to the NASDAQ (wich SIAF is working towards anyway)
Last but not least.. once they do uplist, I believe you will see a surge of buying come in from those skeptical about this pinksheet.. and the float is small.
That is what I'm expecting anyway.
I think SIAF has a better 1 year outlook than CKGT. I do like both though for the record. Guidance is $.13 EPS for 2009 and my guess guidance will be about $.20 EPS for 2010.
That puts SIAF at around a 5 P/E moving forward and currently a 7.5 P/E for 2009 guidance.. whereas CKGT is trading a 10 P/E currently.
Also SIAF is trading under book ($.98 ) at around $1.04 per share wheres as CKGT is trading ($2.68) with a book of $1.61.
Not to mention, SIAF is bringing several new revenue streams online in 2010.. especially their JV with China Owned Ag company Sanjing ($4B company) to bring organic beef to market. They also launched their own brand of dairy products in Beijing.
Don't let the pink dress fool you.. these guys are for real.
Maybe add CBAK
It is very speculative though (currently not profitable) Book is $2.75. I wouldn't do more than 2% - 5%

Fraud is probably more prevalent in the U.S. than in China. Most everything in China is COD and sealed with a hand shake. Under out system that can sometimes be looked at as fraud.. but is it really?
In the U.S. everything is diluted under a mass of regulation and loop holes. Where in some cases fraud can be made legit and go unnoticed or completely hidden.
Really, under U.S. GAAP.. it's about the opinon of the Auditor. You shop long enough and offer up enough money, you can get the opinon your looking for in the U.S. market.
There are very few that I like anymore due to SEC rule changes in Rule 144 and 145 early last year, specifically Rule 144(i). This pretty much made most pinks illiquid to future investment.
The only pinks I like now are the ones that are actively and verifiably, seeking reporting status. I only know of one right now that is both seeking up listing and is profitable (verifiable with independent review) and that is SIAF.
and lose the ugly glasses
See ya around Steff
Are you speaking in some kind of code that I'm suppose to understand? Or do you think I am someone I am not? I'm pretty well known on Ihub, I don't need to pretend to be someone I am not..
huh?
Can you prove they are profitable?
I see no independent reports. If anything this board was created to pump a select group of stocks... not have any real meaningful discussion about profitable pinks.
Forums are about discussion.. but somehow I have already been labeled a basher for bringing up legitimate points?
A Basher?? Me... a "basher"?
Okay.. I've bookmarked this board now.. I'll be glad to join in the daily discussion now.
That site has a disclaimer that 1,000,000 shares were paid via third party for the profile.. I would not call that "due diligence" and certainly not independent.

Hey, I barely passed high school and that looks pretty greek to me..
But I am a research nerd.. so I came up with something about granting a monopoly on power to grant a teaching license.. or something like that..
Wish you luck bud.. you'll need it with those tickers.
And you know this how?
If there is anything I have learned about making money in the pinks.. is you must have solid due diligence. If you are basing your decision on company forward looking press and financial statements that have not been review by an independent CPA.. you are guessing at best. Might as well go to Las Vegas and play craps..
I may make money in pinks based on solid, verifiable due diligence. Not promoters hot air and questionable financial statements by company's that don't even at the very least have a market maker sponsor..
I don't need any luck..
I'm the king of pinks..
My last one was SIAF a 100 bagger.. cool 6 figure return and still holding freebies..
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?Message_id=35428510&txt2find=siaf
If you want this board to be a success, I would strongly recommend picking pinks that at the very least have reports conducted by an independent CPA. Anything short of that and your playing with fire. Nobody says they need an audit.. but at the very least should have a review done by a CPA.
ENTK is "Cavet Emptor" and does not have a Market Maker sponsor. It is practically a gray sheet (unsolicited quotes). Their financials have no footnotes, are not independently reviewed and could be completely bogus for all anyone knows.
You want to start a board spotlighting "profitable" pinks.. you better be able to confirm they are profitable.. or your board will be short lived once a few folks get burned.
OT: I like the thread idea..
Some may not wish to lift the veil of anonymity.. but I'll bite..
Retired stock promoter, Independent OTC consultant on going public, marketing and investor relations. Active trader and portfolio manager. Age 36, practically married.. 1 daughter.
Never spent a day in college, barely passed high school..
A monkey could do this stuff... it's all an attitude really.. A good suit, sharp smile and witty personality is all you need to succeed on Wall Street.. haha..
Well, I guess you need to be a little smart
Is that Glenn's site?
Damn Joe.. we do have a lot in common lol!
Redchip isn't IR.. they are just glorified stock promoters pretending to be IR.
SIAF breakdown..
Since so many are asking.. here are the numbers as I know them to be from the T/A just this past week.
A/S 100,000,000
O/S 53,244,016
Restricted (Management) 40,534,659 (76%)
Free Trading (No legend) 12,709,357
Float 2,480,263 (4.6%)
Approximately 10M shares are held by nonaffliated investors who were a part of the original merger. According to the CEO these individuals are invested at much higher levels, some as high as $2.60 per share. They are also "friendly" to the company and have a long term horizon.
There are also 10M Preferred share authorized but none outstanding.
Hope this helps.
SIAF free trading is actually 12M, they won't have a problem with liquidity when the time comes. The original nonaffliate investors (some 10M shares) are invested at much higher prices right now, some as high as $2.60. These investors are waiting on management to deliver the goods and there is no reason to believe they won't considering current progress.
The company has every intention to seek listing on the NASDAQ. With what is coming down the pipe in 2010.. I honestly don't see a problem.
They already meet just about every requirement but the $4 minimum bid. That is an easy problem to fix.
The exchange doesn't mean the money isn't coming from American investors.
It's a cycle.. the word investor is global.
Didn't I read something about the US requiring around $2 Billion daily from foreigners to even stay afloat?
The Government is requiring this money, not the successful people in this Country. If anything it is because the successful people do not burden their share of the cost due to an inadequate tax system in this country. The majority of the true tax burden is shifted to the middle class which is why we are suffering in the first place because it is the middle class that drives the economy, not the wealthy.
With that said, we are simply seeing a major shift in global investment. America had its long run of prosperity making global investors very wealthy over the last 100 years or so. That time has now gone as America is slipping into a decline.
I compare it to real estate. When a community economy goes bad, jobs are lost and businesses close. Once that happens the value of everything in that community drops. The lower price then attracts individuals of lower stature, which also further drives down values as crime increases and the community falls into neglect. Eventually the community becomes so depressed in value that it becomes a candidate for redevelopment.
Investors begin to pour in, this new influx of money influences local government who then put more police on the streets. Crime is reduced and developers begin to develop. Properties once worth nothing increase in value which raise taxes. The higher taxes impact the lower income individuals and over time are forced out of the area.
And once again.. the cycle starts over.
Same can be said about the Global economy. America has become that community at its peak and its economy is shifting. China on the other hand is that run down neighborhood. Now investment money is pouring into that arena. In decades to come, China will reach a point similar to where America is now. At that point, America will be the attractive investment.. and once again the cycles begins anew..
America is still the wealthiest nation in the world whether our Government is or not. Those wealthy individuals will be looking to protect that wealth.. and China is slowly emerging as that place to do that. As more money floods into China through investment, the more rapid its ascent will be.

Clears through..

Your forgetting one thing.. China Agriculture projects get close to a 33% subsidy. They also do not need any capital reinvestment, all their large projects are joint ventures. They are a agriculture technology company ie: they license their technology and that is where the revenue comes from. The entity licensing the technology burdens most of the capital required.
Hope that helps a little.
Greater access to capital.. we may be in a recession, but America is still the biggest source of money and liquidity.
Who knows, maybe the current float is locked and we are all just flipping amongst ourselves.
Whatever it is, the liquidity is improving and that is helping us form a strong base between each move.
I'll be the first to admit, the stock is becoming increasingly easy to flip two or three points enabling a little profit while maintaining ones core position.
It is healthy for the stock too.. win win really
You can always tell when Joteng has picked up a position in something lol!
The float is 2.5M but I would estimate less than 500,000 are available. I can account for about 1.2M alone among friends.
He was a little naive in the mechanics of it all, that's how guys like Carnes operate.. they prey on inexperience.
53M O/S, 40.5M restricted, 12M free trading, 2.5M float
but he did sell a lot of stock and made a pretty good living
I think what you meant to say was Carnes made a pretty good living and ruined Pete's ability to capitalize.
Lol, did you bother reading the article? I guess not.
Keep in mind both Saturn and Pontiac no longer even exist. Two major American auto makers gone, poof. They are just a memory now. Wouldn't have mattered anyway now would it have? Your goals are not going to transpire if the foundation you are building on all of sudden goes poof.
The GTM obviously didn't work out either. Fact is most business plans fail so you are already at a disadvantage when you start.
Just thought I would poke my head in here..
My guess is someone dumped 33K shares and the MM's were like.. oh hell no.. and broke it up, sold it off, made a little profit and then printed it to balance thier book..
Or.. a MM could have just covered his ass..
I will be very interested to see how much inventory IB has Monday. Today they had 10K available to short.
CKGT - SIAF
Of course I am biased, but CKGT doesn't have a 40% JV with one of the largest China state owned Agriculture companies, SanJing.. which happens to be about a $4B company.
In a few years, the Sanjing project could be the largest beef distributor in China.
All this, because SIAF holds a little patent on an enzyme and bacteria.
Like I said..
If I was JD..
I know he reads this board.. and he knows I consider him a friend. I know all to well what it can be like when your stock has had an amazing run and then pulled back significantly. When everyone is driven by their emotions and no longer by logic and reasoning.
I'm quite positive his inbox is simply overflowing with nasty emails. I know, I've worked with over a half dozen OTC companies as their pin cushion.. err I mean IR. You have to just ignore it and be above it.
My advice to JD.. turn off the level II's.. put a yellow sticky on your computer that says "No more Ihub". Then simply delete every email that comes through that has even the slightest hint of insult in it. Only respond to the respectable emails.
Let the stock have a natural enema and those that have truly stood behind him before will continue to do so and will most likely profit once again from the almost predictable cycle of the OTC.
I think probably because he has already stated they intended to hold on to them. All everyone is doing on this message board is working each other up with their conspiracy theories. If I was JD I wouldn't pander to the gossip on this board either. A good CEO doesn't worry about his share price, he focuses on growing the business and the share price will eventually follow.
One week everyone trusts JD to babysit their kids, then the price of the stock drops and he is Satan's spawn. I just don't get it to be quite honest. On second thought I do get it but it's probably best I keep my opinions to myself.
If I've learned anything while working as promoter/IR in the OTC, is that these message boards are only good for one thing and that is comic relief.
The stock has slipped simply do to lack of demand versus the supply available. That's it.. no other reason.
I do want to thank all of you however for your efforts in fomenting so much distrust and skepticism. I've managed to pick up a fairly decent sized amount of stock :)
And.. no.. I'm not being compensated lol.. Just here to make a few bucks on all the blood in the streets.
I believe he is aware of it, but like many risk averse people, they tend to shy away from pinks. I took my risk.. and have seen a 10,000% ROI lol.
