Lol, c’mon now, let’s be reasonable. Maybe they should send out a daily PR to justify why PPS has slidden, but never when it has increased. Thoughts?
Ditto with BCBS IL.
This is great news, but it's been baked-in to the share price. We'll likely head lower on Monday. ;)-
LoL - hilarious!
I think you missed the inside joke.
Okay, fine, I’ll say it this time. This is clearly the last chance to buy cheap shares in a seemlessly endless string of opportunities. The shorts are screwed - the squeeze will be epic and they won’t be able to screw with us after the lawsuit verdict. Our pot is set to overflow soon - it can’t not...
True, no chance. But....a Thero open market buy would be sweet if we trend further below the offering price.....
We are now trading as if peak sales (in BO scenario) will be $1.5B.
We could hit that next year under GIA (in only the US).
Buying AMRN at this point in the teens is stealing.
Jan 2019 scripts were up 57% YoY. Jan 2020 scripts are up 76% YoY.
Scripts will be fine. PPS is boring right now - agree there.
Got to be right around $50. Just has to be. This is too big an opportunity to not fetch $20Bish.
Ranjo - it was super clear. Given how JT rolls, I'd be beyond shocked if they partnered up. < 1% chance. No reason to say it with that conviction unless he meant it. Not his style.
Nothing makes sense other than a BO and these guys/gals have been the smartest people in the room for 17 months.
Ranjo - good to hear from you. IMO, this was JT's biggest tell (yet) that the whole thing will be sold. I was shocked that he completely ruled out a co-promo/partnership at JPM.
It's taking forever, but we're being sold. We have to be. These guys haven't made one mistake yet, and they're not crazy enough to think they can GIA in the US....
Good point, Tuca.
EXAS has a pipeline of tests and has always run way ahead of itself on valuation - also 95% institutional ownership.
AMRN has zero pipeline and 50% schizophrenic, retail ownership.
Hey Chas - it's time for one last "in a long string of seemingly endless opportunities to get in to AMRN cheap" messages.
Can you do that for us for nostalgia? ;) Have a great weekend!
LoL - brilliant, just brilliant.
Alright, so no more BO talk until August/Sept? ;)
20 degrees here today. Enjoy the FL heat!
Marki - would you sell the company tomorrow for $15B ($36 pps) if you were in Thero's seat?
Makes sense - thx for the confirm.
I'll never, ever say anything in the legal system is 100%, but it appears the case is 95% decided at this point.
Thanks gg - early wrap up doesn't bode well for generics.
Hey marj - what about the Strength trial results? Although in favor of Amarin, was that only allowed to be discussed because it actually 'occurred' during the trial?
IMO, that was somewhat bombshell and allowed in to the trial, but clearly not in the pre-trial docs.
A quick look back shows this person calling for a 10 - 20 bagger from a $16 share price. Be careful of confirmation bias.
Need to add Evap results as well. Thanks HDG.
Hate to say it, but I totally agree. It's masturbation - you can like it, but it's no good in the long run. I've shown the commercial to 25 - 30 friends/family members and they're ALL clueless as to how this furthers Amarin/Vascepa's mission. Many of them are Vascepa's target market.
Good thought, but waste of hard earned $ (dilution).......
You helped clarify it for me as well, and I'm now awoken (as the kids say). Thanks TTE. I'll sleep better tonight and also understand the risk the company took in bringing this to the wrestling mat. Outstanding posts!
The final iHub poster power rankings should be interesting. TTE moving up, way up, kind of like having that 'up arrow' in the old school Beckett Sports card valuation magazines....
LoL - we finally have an answer for "who is Darth Vader/Anikan's father?"
So excited that Vascepa played a role!
Boy, I certainly wouldn't own stock in a company with an incapable CEO. Sounds like it's time to find a new investment.
Very nice follow thru from the "pent up" post Thanksgiving week! Thanks Sam!
Merc - what are your thoughts on the 2020 rev guidance?
Fine, then just use 5x peak of $3.75B, which the GS report listed as well. $45/share. He did math wrong on the other computation and hasn't fixed it.
BTW - that $45/share comp is US only.
Backstreet Boys - "Quit Playing Games with my Heart"
If this Go-Gos thing doesn't work out for the commercial jingle......
Correct. He did say that just this past week I believe....
God, you're a good writer and one of the more rational thinkers. Are you a CPA? ;)
I would tend to disagree that AMRN overshoots like many other bios that I've owned and followed. But, it sure does well in over-selling! Likely getting a run at stops and margin calls for a lot of people that loaded up pre-FDA.
Dmiller.....David was totally lost....
David was a bit lost. Other than $AMRN being a takeover target, he implied that AMRN execs were making open market buys (not correct) and was unaware of the reference to Evaporate. Oh well, onward we go!
— MNMike (@MnbioMike) December 10, 2019
Yep, ~ 14% dilution, but still a little short term drag, you're correct.
Hope the Cabernet was Caymus or something good! :)
Yee models market penetration based on PCSK9s with a little added increase due to better CVOT results. He'd say the same things were said about them (they will be THE add-on to statins). Will be interesting to see if he increases ROW numbers now that EU submission has been officially made.
The valuation discussion is fascinating......
Thanks Raf - great #s!
"Broader than primary" Lol, great typo! ;)
Yep, agreed. Especially given it was only a $1.2M investment. Probably a 'fun' spec play, riding coattails of Adcom and retail getting behind shares if they saw the BB investment.
Dmiller nailed this response. How do you think Andrew Left (Citron) is still in business? I've seen worse from him.
It's not illegal to give your opinion, no matter how illogical AMRN bulls may feel it is.
Let it go. Oppenheimer is a complete joke.
