Thanks again c1001
HRC-V Helio and RG-V Romios c1001 would you say
that the 2 resource stocks meets your needs as companies that have enough cash on hand until resource stocks get better?
Also do you feel comfortible holding on to these stocks if you owned them.
Thanks in advance
DEF.V Defiance Silver finally closed their buy out.
Impact Silver sold their processing plant and 10 and part of 3 other consessions.
I believe the payment is in 2 parts, 1,787,000 shares up front and around 2 million dollars when they achieve commercial production at the mill.
I think their first deal was for shares only, but that would have been a reverse takeover and would have needed shareholder approval.
With a tiny market cap of around 4 million dollars it could be a very good deal. IMHO.
I believe the assets are in the Zacatecas area, the Santa Gabriela plant and consessions.
Bought a little for a flyer.
What does anyone think about it?
Thanks in advance,
JMHO
NKL.V c1001, I also sold very early today, and got a great price today.
I also kept only some of my free shares
I sold when I heard "we need more money", and "results won't be out for between 4 to 6 weeks".
Those 2 quotes in the same presentation is like putting a gun to your head and firing.
JMHO.
Thanks again c1001
c1001 Do you remember back in the summer of 2005 I believe, Aurleon Resources went crazy after finding gold in Equador.
They started out at about 50 cents a share or less and went to 40 dollars and this is when gold was only around 500 dollars an oz.
Finally they sold out to Kinross.
Do you think there is a chance that NKL could be this years Aurleon Resources and climb much much higher?
Seems like there is always one stock that goes crazy during the summer doldrums and everyone piles into it.
Maybe this years stock is NKL
Any thoughts of yours on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Can't check my e-mail today.
Thanks in Advance
Problems possibly for Canadians.
With the debt ceiling coming due on August 2 we here in Canada might have a special problem.
The province of Ontario has a civic holiday the first Monday in August which fall this year on August 1 the day before the debt ceiling ends, and after a weekend which anything can happen.
While those of you in the U.S. can make a change to your portfolio on August 1, we here in Canada, and those investors in the U.S. who own Canadian venture stocks or TSX stocks, (and I know there are many here), will be helpless on that Monday while the TSX and venture exchanges are closed, if anything out of the blue good or hopefully not bad services during that last July weekend.
Any comments from the board on what would you do, like for example get ready the previous Thursday or Friday, however that might be to early to understand what might happen over the weekend.
JMHO.
NKL.V Many thanks c1001 for the update.
NKL.V I was at the Dentist this morning about fixing a broken tooth, and I couldn't listen to the web cast for NKL.V
Could anyone either C1001, or anyone else please give me an idea on whether what they heard from the web cast made them more bullish on NKL or less bullish?
Thanks in Advance
VST.V
I forgot to add that it was reported by undertaker on stockhouse.
JMHO.
VST.V
It was reported by Undertaker5 that the well has been completed in Kurdistan, and the good stuff has been found.
I hope he means by the good stuff, oil.
I do not know who undertaker5 is, however over the past few months that I have been following Vast, when ever Undertaker5 posts, which isn't very often, I have found his information has been always correct, spot on.
Drilling has stopped or has been resumed, or the drill bit had to be changed etc, etc, for example.
I hope he is correct today with the well finished and the good stuff found.
I had to refrain myself from calling this, "the well from hell".
JMHO.
VST.V On the Vast board and stockhouse,
someone posted that when VST fell to 43 cents, around 11:15 this morning RBC bought 250,000 shares in one swoop, moving the price of VST to 51 Cents.
Hopefully that is a sign of good things to come for the well NIKO is drilling with VST.V and GSA.V as partners, in Kurdistan.
Results should be out hopefully before the end of the month.
However, I don't mind if they waited for the markets to calm down from the disaster in Japan.
JMHO.
VST.V vstff.pk
Did anyone listen to the conference presentation by NIKO yesterday at the close?
The head of NIKO, who are in charge of drilling the well in Kurdistan, used the word prize that they are close to, after months of very hard work, and many obstacles that they over came.
You don't use the word prize, which IMHO, they aleady know what they have found there being only weeks from TD.
You especially don't use the word "prize" if you about to annouce a duster in a few weeks.
Sounded like a winning football coach discussing his teams victory.
Mr Sampson also sounded a bit excited when discussing the well in Kurdistan, that they are drilling for themselves, and GSA and Vast.
NIKO discussed many properties around the world which Kurdistan being one small part of, and he seemed the most excitied to me when discussing this well, of all he talked about.
Just my opinion.
Silver OGC.T
I found this on the Aussie chat forum Hot Copper.
Apparently the largest brokerage firm in Australia lowered OGC from a Buy to Hold because of push- back for the timetable for Didipio.
Goldman which took over a few years back JB Were, the largest brokerage firm there, came out with their investment view on OGC.
Now I have looked around and I can't find anyother reference to this Goldman downgrade either on the ASX web-site or OGC's web-site, except for the mention on HC, so I can't say for sure this is true.
However, my own personal view of OGC is an undervalued stock long term with a Gold bull market in place, and OGC spinning out alot of cash now.
However the problem is the cash is going into Didipio, a mine that won't be finished until 2013 at the earliest, and in the investment world we live in, investors aren't even sure if the world will look the same by 2013.
I have been involved with OGC a long time with quite a few investments on the ASX. having lived there for awhile in Perth.
However, IMHO, I was against this build out by OGC of Didipio, the way they went about it, since they announced it a few months back.
Apparently the CEO resigned 2 weeks before their announcement, so maybe he didn't like it either.
I phoned the company a couple of times to ask them to consider splitting the stock into 2 companies, which it orginally was.
OGC would hold the NZ assets, and a new stock would hold the Phillipine assets.
However since I am a nobody to them, I didn't expect OGC to change everything for me.
OGC complained all the time that their stock received no value for Didipio.
The split woud have been the best way to force the market to put a value for Didipio.
It worked for Exeter Resources, and other stocks.
For every share you own in OGC, shareholders would receive 1 free share in the new Phillipine stock.
Their 100 million cap raising could have been done as a secondary offering for the new stock only.
Anyone who believes they couldn't have raised the money, should consider these facts.
The cap raising would have been done in Australia and NZ, where they are very well known to instos, investment banks.
Also the great track record from Medusa Gold MLL.T and CGA.T would have gotten many investments banks over there very interested.
Also Medusa might have listed here at 4 dollars, but Medusa is a legend in Australia moving quickly from a dollar to 7 dollars with the lowest cost gold mine in the world.
OGC would not have had to get involved and suffer the dilution.
Yes, it would have lead to dilution in the new stock, however since the orginal shares given to shareholders would have been free, I myself would have had no problem with the dilution.
It would have allowed the new stock to move faster than it is now to complete the mine at Didipio with it own mangement team, and any set backs would have not affected OGC, which would have been free to spend their cash coming into the company in expanding Reefton and Sam's Creek two very under explored deposits on NZ.
The mangement team for OGC could have concentrated not only on building reserves, but could have found a way to increase mill capacity for their mines in NZ, and increased gold output
Eventually OGC will be re rated higher, however IMHO, we didn't have to go through all this pain, if they would have split the stock in two. IMHO
Just my humble opinion.
NGM.V NTGMF
I wanted to add that the selling pressure on NGM after it hit .62 cents I believe, has been caused because their last financing went free trading today.
The financing closed in two tranches, the second tranche is free trading on March 10.
Hitting 209 meters of 1.44 g/t etc etc, IMHO, the stock would be trading much higher than what it is right now, if it wasn't for the free trading stock, which it will chew through, IMHO.
That reason alone, makes today a great time to pick up more stock, which I did.
Of course all is just my humble opinion.
Silver, NGM.V NTGMF
Roger Wiegand put a buy recommendation on NGM last Friday, and Jay Taylor put a buy recommendation on Saturday.
It was Jay Taylor who said that NGM's blue sky suggests the potenial for an Osisko sized open pit deposit.
Of course, nobody knows if that will happen or not.
However two recommendations in two days isn't to bad.
I wonder who will be next to recommend NGM?
Of course, just my humble opinion.
Silver, NGM.V NTGMF
Great day for NGM.V
However, despite the nice rise in price, this could be the start of the next Detour Gold DGC.T or Osisko Mining OSK.T
I could be wrong of course, however, I believe IMHO, that this is the real deal, and NGM has a long way to go on the upside.
Check the results of the drilling today and before, where they are located, and who are some of the shareholders.
Just my humble opinion of course.
VST-V Does anyone here follow Vast Exploration?
Bobwins, anyone else?
Does anyone find it significant that retired General John Abizaid would join the Board of Vast for 200,000 options at an option price of 58 Cents, when the stock price of VST is also around 58 cents?
What I find significant is not that Vast would ask the General to join the board, but General Abizaid would accept within weeks of finding out the success or failure of the well being drilled since last May.
Just wanted to know what posters on the board felt about it, if any follow Vast.
Just my humble opinion.
More importantly, Gen Abizaid wouldn't of accepted the BOD post if he thought it was a duster.
VST wouldn't of ask him because he wouldn't of accepted, unless they had some information to tell him.
Just my humble opinion.
coinmaker GXY.ax
I don't know the company very well, just what I have dd about them.
The only lithium stock I owned was TLH which I sold.
Most of my money is in Gold, Silver, Oil, Uranium, and a few other areas.
My friends in Oz seem to love uranium and gold stocks.
From what I read on GXY, it looks very interesting.
CPTMatt RDR.ax
I took a look at Reed when I replyed to coinmaker post 23782 and it looks interesting.
I was going to take a better look but you have done that.
Many thanks.
They will JV the project with someone in Asia probably, like they did their Lithium project with Mineral.
Bobwins MYG.ax
Great to hear you bought some MYG.
Production is for mid 2012
However, the key to me over the next couple of months is how they do as an explorer.
They raised money for the first time at a low price, and can they use that money very wisely which IMHO, John Greeve will do.
MYG can drill 40 RC holes for the same price as 1 Diamond deep drilling hole.
So drill as much as possible down to 120 meters.
Which brings us to the main key.
This will allow them to drill many holes at the second deposit Spanish Galleon.
Can they prove up Spanish Galleon is on the way to be as large or larger than the Deflector deposit?
If so, that changes everything for the stock price, IMHO.
It will send a message to the market that their other untested deposits Pieces of Eight and others could also be as large or larger than the Deflector deposit.
Plus their silver and copper credits and iron ore tailings and deposit on the property.
Hank SEA.ax at the finish line for a dollar.
MMT still rounding the far turn.
Come on Mart get another jockey, or maybe it is the extra weight MMT had to carry, though I won't mention his name, (Mr W)
Bobwins, SEA.AX closing in on a dollar.
Now at 97.5 cents with 40 minutes left in Oz.
Glad I have a nice parcel of SEA.ax
Though I love Mart MMT.v and it is one of my largest holdings, I don't say this with any joy.
The race to a dollar between MMT and SEA.ax is turning into the 1973 Belmont Stakes, and I don't have to tell anyone who is Secretariat, and who is Sham.
Bobwins MYG.ax NMG.ax
When you do consider adding after there is a correction, and MYG still interests you, you might want to try buying the warrants which are good until July 2013.
MYGOA.ax are about 11 cents, roughly a 5 cent difference, which is alot at that ptice and have very good liquidity with about 60 million outstanding.
The same goes for NMG which you already own.
I bought the warrants NMGOA.ax instead of NMG.ax for the same reason, around 75 million outstanding.
NMGOA.ax are good too until July 2013, plenty of time to see how this gold bull market works out and how Noble does in getting to 150,000 ozs with good exploration.
CGX.ax CGA.t
Profits up 400% at 39 plus million
cashflow doubled
coinmaker,
I wanted to add that with the Tantalum stock Gippsland GIP.ax.
They are 50% partners with the Egyptian government and they are not in production yet because of a dispute with the off take agreements they add with H C Stark.
I believe that their BFS has now been finished, pending a resolution of the off take agreements.

coinmaker, RDR.ax
I haven't invested in these stocks in Australia because I haven't bought any over here either except TLH at one point.
RDR.ax is Reed Reources.
They have the Mt Marion Lithium project in Western Australia.
However, they invest in other things besides Lithium.
They just bought the 2.5 Million oz Meekathara Gold project and they also have the highest grade Vanadium reserve in Australia.
About 200 million shares and 20 Million options which isn't bad for an ozzie stock selling for about 70 cents, so about 150 million market cap.
I believe their Lithium project is JVed with another stock called Mineral Resources MIN.ax which is in alot of things besides mining.
Orocobre Ltd ORE.ax which has the Talison Lithium project in Argintina though I could be wrong on the address, however they do trade over here under the symbol ORL, plus they also are in Potash too which isn't bad these days, LOL
Gippsland Limited GIP.ax have the large Abu Dabbab Nuweibi Tantalum project, however the project is in Egypt though be careful.
They also suffer from the ozzie problem of having 625 million shares and 60 million options.
However, there are only trading for about 4 to 5 cents a share, so the market cap is only about 30 Million.
Hope this helps and good luck.
MYG.ax
The link takes you to the web-site, but not Mutiny Gold's podcast.
If you type in Mutiny Gold in the search, links come up to take you there.
MYG.AX Bobwins you might want to take a look at Mutiny Gold on the ASX.
They bought the Gullewa mining camp in Western Australia from ATW Gold ATW.v for a song around 9 million late last year when ATW got themselves in trouble.
They are just starting to drill up the Deflector deposit, and they believe that the camp has maybe another 3 or 4 major deposits un developed
In fact they already have started drilling on the next couple of deposits called Spanish Galleon and Pieces of Eight, which maybe larger then the Deflector deposit.
They have a mill, a bit small, but expandable, tailing pond, the whole works, housing for 100 miners.
They also have alot of copper on their property.
John Greeve one of the easist CEOs to get on the phone or e-mail.
He even talks on a web-site to investors called RB MIlestone group which has a reccommendation on the stock.
It is selling for about 15 cents and hasn't moved since December.
They have about 300 plus shares fully deluted, however they did offer sharesholders an SPP at 8 cents late last year, which is included in the 300 million plus shares.
On Hot copper MYG board listen to tibbs, a mate of mine, and one of the best retail investors in Oz, IMHO.
Also they did a board room radio podcast late last year.
I hope this link works
It is called Canary Events
www.brr.com.au/events/72494/mutiny-gold-canary-events-december-2010-john-greeve-managing-director.
If this doesn't work you can go back on hot copper to december 16 2010 at 12:00 by tweets who has the link on his post.
The best for this stock over the next 18 months hasn't even started yet.
Of course other posters here are welcome to look too, especially a couple of special posters who I owe alot too, for helping me buy into the right stocks.
JMHO.
VST, RLM
I just wondered if anyone on the board could comment on the sell off of RLM-V Realm Energy last week, and if it was just from the article by the French government, and the stock will resume its upward path with a great future in shale oil in Poland, if not France. (Hopefully they get their lands in France too)
Also does any follow Vast Exploration VST-V and what are their chances of success since on another forum it has been mentioned that NIKO the operator of the well, that they are drilling, has had oil showings to date.
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks Bobwins for taking the time to look at AUT.ax and EUK.ax
It is very much appreciated.
Bobwins sorry to bother you.
I just wondered what you thought of the Eagle Ford shale play in Texas.
I am following 2 ozzie stocks Aurora AUT.ax and Eureka EKA.ax
If to busy, I understand, thanks
Bobwins- AUT.ax EKA.ax
Aurora Oil, and Eureka Energy, which trade in Australia are in the Eagle Ford shale play in Texas.
I believe that Aurora will start trading in Canada in the near future, and have raised money recently.
Have you ever looked at these 2 stocks, and if so, what are your thoughts on their potenial, whether you like them or not, or whether you would ever buy them?
Thanks in advance Bobwins.
SEA.AX Has an update out tonight in Australia.
I don't have the link, however you can go to the ASX web-site of course.
"Sundance Energy is pleased to announce the following initial production rates from its developmental drilling campaign in the Williston Basin.
I guess the market liked the news, IMHO.
SEA jumped to 79 cents last I checked.
JMHO.
Thanks again Bobwins.
SSN has nearly doubled recently.
Is it to late to add more SSN to my holdings, or do you feel Bobwins, it still could go much higher in coming months?
Anyother opinons besides Bobwins is welcomed.
Thanks in advance
SEA, Great call as usual Bobwins
What price to you think SEA might go to over the next 12 months?
Thanks in advance
OGC TO
Hi JFF,
I think OGC is a great stock, and I do have the patience to give it plenty of time to move being so undervalued.
I was just presenting a what if situation, if they had done things differently.
Cheers
