These penny stocks are like taming a wild animal. They take a lot of time and maintenance, are unpredictable, and can end up biting you anyway. So walk into the cage with that expectation and you won't be to disappointed when it does happen.
They should also see if some news outfit like CNN can pick up a story about up and coming tech like this for Cancer prevention. I just saw a story on there a few days ago about the testing of HPV and cervical cancer testing. It may just be just the publicity they need to get some heavy hitter investors.
I agree. Give India a chance and if they are on our side we need to help them get there or at least give them the benefit of the doubt.
Just check to see how their aviation industry has grown in the past 10 yrs. It has done very well. Also there are a lot of Indian doctors here so why shouldn't there be in India as well as the progress continues. Its all good just need to be patient.
With Amazon buying that online pharmacy and with CVS and Walgreens stock panicking, maybe now would be a good time for GTHP to present them with a proposal so they can have a step up on Amazon and offer state of the art cancer screening and a lower cost. Or maybe Amazon might want to capture another untapped market for faster, better, cheaper health screening. As I said in previous posts these guys are hot to trot on turning things around in the health care industry. What better way than this tech.
Well then lets hope the check is in the mail.
Call me crazy but I bought more at .0034. This stock has been here before at .0034. Looking to see about Turkey now that the election is over. The good thing is, the same people who made the deal are still in power. The bad thing is, the same people are still in power. Bad for Turkey. So the monies GTHP are due may be on its way soon. If there was a change of leaders then the process may have to start all over again which of course would suck and hurt this company further. But as it is we will see. GLTA.
Please do you own DD and be aware of the risk involved at this point.
Now Turkey does have aggressive Cancer care for their people.

Now that I am totally aware of.
A war? Sorry haven't read anything about that. Please provide references so I could check that out. I could have missed that.
thats a good idea
GTHP needs a partner that can absorb some of the debt and finance the FDA sooner rather than later. I say cultivate the sure deals you got going now India, Indonesia, EU etc forget the China and Russia deals for now. To much politics, money and scammers involved expends to much energy for a hope of positive results. Work with what you got first then revisit those once the smoke clears. IMO. Good luck to everyone.
I know. I just told you. Why would you do it how much do you have at stake? 10's of thousands of dollars?
Why would you do it how much do you have at stake? 10's of thousands of dollars?
Why are you not listening??? Ive been doing this since the 1990's my friend and I am telling you what will happen and just who will be getting screwed. Me and everyone else on this board plus whoever is trying to make a living working for GTHP. Believe me.
Or if you want I can sell you 36,000 shares of said company which is now worth .0001 because of what you think will be a positive result.
Or if you want I can sell you 36,000 shares of said company which is now worth .0001 because of what you think will be a positive result.
I guarantee you it will NOT do that. It will destroy this companies position on in the market what little it has. The SEC will put a hold on it first for like 30-90 days no trades nothing the well will dry up and it will go belly up. I have been there I have seen it I have money lost because of it. Please don't do it.
If you do that you will put a lock on this company and we all will burn and get screwed. Went through that before and Im still pissed at the dude who did it. His what he thought was a hero righteous complaint locked that company up so hard that everyone got screwed big time and I had a decent amount invested. Of course his complaint was just his spite because he lost a couple of hundred dollars or something but a lot of us who were in it paid the price. So please don't do that. Just sell your part get out and make it up on the next play.
Gene needs to think out of the box. This new Amazon, Buffet deal is the shape of things to come. They are just itching for something to improve the state of health care. So why not start with emerging technologies that are ripe for the future. Companies like GTHP just need that push, funding , help whatever you want to call it to get it started. If all it takes is money to get it to the FDA to approval, well these guys have plenty of it. Gene needs to start a letter writing campaign to CVS, Walgreens, Amazon, all of them to find a partner to help make it happen. Nothing wrong with that just get it done. SO whats the worst that can happen? They say they aren't interested. Just keep moving working it until a deal can be made. Whats not written here is that no matter how hard the FDA is working with, other countries can be more frustrating, they are on their own time, money exchange issue, shipping, etc etc lots of moving parts. So I think Gene has several options being the health care industry is ripe for innovation. Just need to put it in front of somebody's face that matters.
This is an excerpt pasted from the news about the Amazon, Buffett, JP Morgan deal ....
There is little doubt that Dr. Gawande will be able to outline what he has said he believes are the system’s failings. “Tapping Atul Gawande to head the new venture is a very positive sign,” said Brian Marcotte, the chief executive of the National Business Group on Health, which represents large employers. “He is a thought leader, thinks outside the box, and is passionate about fixing what ails our health care system.”
While Dr. Gawande does not have business experience, he has spent his career focusing on how to improve care for the sickest patients, said Dr. Bob Kocher, a venture capitalist who advised President Obama on health care policy. He pointed to Dr. Gawande’s ability to attract other individuals to the venture.
“He understands the health care system as an insider,” Dr. Kocher said. “He has been a truth-teller.”
But Dr. Kocher said that Dr. Gawande’s public health experience in emphasizing preventive care is unlikely to yield the immediate savings companies like these three want. “He is going to have to come up with a whole new tool kit,” he said.
The challenge he and the rest of the country face is how to overcome the pricing power of big hospital groups that dominate certain markets, and drug companies, Dr. Kocher said. Employers have also been resistant to limiting the choice of hospitals and doctors for their workers.
Something I learned over the years of doing this in the penny arena is its best if you get into penny's to also hedge your investment with something thats going to cushion the fall if that's the way it goes. So like when I bought into gthp I also bought Netflix. Spread your bucks around don't put them all in one place. My advice take it or leave it.
You never know. Had 750k shares of a company back in the day. This guy wanted to open a Luggage / bag shipping company sort of like ups stores, claimed the airlines were going to charge for bags one day and nobody believed him. ( he was right) I believed him but the MM's pounded his stock into the sub penny's which my average was really low. Then one day news or rumor that the airline's were talking about actually charging for bags when you travel came out and the stock went from sub penny to a couple of cents. I made 32k that day, that guy eventually got hammered on the stock he couldn't hang in there and went out of business. Moral of the story? You never know what these penny's are going to do and no matter how right or wrong a product is this becomes a game of attitude and luck in the end. GLTA.

Ok yeah I see. Well that is good. Thanks.
Hate to be a downer here but anybody know if the Trump tariffs are going to have any affect on the China deal? From what I have read China is going to add medical equipment to their tariffs on the second or third batch. First thing that hit me was dang GTHP just can't get a break. But don't know for sure if its included. Keep an eye out for any info or if anyone contacts Gene it might be a good question to ask.
Or you could have bought Netflix when it went down to around 100.00 like I did to hedge the penny's long term torture cycle.
The whole market activity on GTHP lately looks a lot like a shake out. They are manipulating the stock price to shake out the retail investors. There are a lot of shares being held by this board alone. Either somebody wants or needs shares or there is some toxic debt dumping into the float. Why all the crazy swings in share price? if it was going down it would be .0001 by now.
Good day today its trying to break out move into penny territory. Maybe next week. We will see.
Wow you can get whiplash watching the price fluctuation today.
lol I have them if they want them @ $5.00, $6.00, $8.00.
Thats interesting. Think about this. With the scuttlebutt in the news about health care centers / doctors / clinics, having to soon advertise their pricing to start being competitive , this tech will come in as cheaper, faster, less invasive with better percentage results. I still say if a health care outfit like CVS hears about this with their infrastructure already in place they can corner the market on screenings.
On another note. I think she converted to take the cap off the preferred. Makes the most sense to me. IMO. Read into that as you want. GLTA
I have been here a while in this stock but haven't followed it this closely until recently ( I have other stocks as well) so I wanted to ask, are they in or have they made inroads into Canada with this tech yet?
I didn't see anything in any of the docs I read. Anyone?
I owned stock in a small company a while back, RRC, got in at .10 .15 cents and I think .19 cents was the high I bought in at. They managed oil properties. Well they stayed under a dollar for a while but one day they jumped to a higher market. Zoomed to 60-80 during the oil boom and stayed around 45-50 for a while until the recent down turn in the oil prices. oh, Just checked they were 92.00 in 2014. They were long sold made some dough on them but I started at 10cents. So it can happen in the pennies. So I disagree with your comment.
Remember most online and software tech (FB) etc. was built on fluff. They had no product or revenue model / stream to begin with and were purely a entertainment media startup, and was still worth billions. And they weren't really designed to save lives really. They started with nothing, but the hype moved them into the stratosphere. In comparison here is a product that is a must have, there is already a distribution infrastructure in place, end user business, ( doctors, clinic's, hospitals etc. ) does the testing for less money and time, and saves lives as its end product. So ask yourself what is the true value of this product as compared to Facebook or whatever. There is no comparison. And GTHP holds the patents for it.
The FDA does not care or should care one bit about a companies stock price or whatever on how it makes its decisions, good, bad or ugly. It has to stay as independent as possible to make the process fair. Now I know what the next comments are going to say but It is what it is. Now is the time to move forward with this not go back and rehash neg energy. They already gave the relook a nod. All GTHP has to do is trials. And done. But they need money to get there so they have to take the long way home through Europe and Asia. You never know a heavy hitter may pop up and pour some needed cash into the company and get this rollin. But its a watch and see situation. Just spread the news on how great a tech this is and how many women this can save. That is what will drive this home.
I agree. That can backfire.
You have a point but challenging the FDA's decision making process now can only backfire at this point. I was not involved in the decision making process so I don't know anything about anything why they come to their conclusions as they did. But what I do know is the path is clear now to make better progress. Hindering that by proposing controversy now is a no win scenario.
Let Gene handle the in's and out's with the FDA. Our focus should be reveling how great this tech is. No BS. Just the truth of how well it works, time saving and money saving for a process that is very important to millions of women in every country.
I wouldn't go that far. That would be counterproductive IMO. Now introducing this great tech into the media is cool but bashing the FDA is not the way you want to go.
