if only we could all be so good.
for argument's sake... let's say the buyout company pays 100 mil for BCO. Sandy get's 100 Mil and 17% of that is held in an account owned by BKMP. So BKMP get's 17 million. (keep in mind SW has a stake in BCO as well) and part of the other 83 million goes to SW without having to justify anything to the shareholders of BKMP. Now the remaining 17 million he keeps in an account owned by BKMP for future investments. Where/when exactly do the shareholders see the $$$? He doesn't have to distribute it or do anything with it for as long as he sees fit. He's got the proceeds from part of the 83% of BCO which he can live off for a few years at least.
At this point it's too late to do anything. Doesn't make sense to sell at .0001 for a loss so might as well stay all in to see what happens. Worst case we get .0000 for each share we own which isn't much worse than .0001. I have to say, Sandy could easily ease shareholder's tensions but as per usual, he just creates more confusion. This is not the sign of a CEO who cares about his shareholders. If he were more upfront in the past I would trust him now but given many crazy stunts he has pulled, only extreme optimists or manipulators can really say they trust SW.
that is my thought process. Sandy could just as easily "re-invest" that money into BKMP for "future expansion" of other business which require him to buy an island off the coast of madagascar and have a second home in Florida keys as well as a lamborghini to get back and forth to the office.
That would be true if BKMP was for sale.. but it isn't. BCO is the one being sold which does not have a PPS.
i have no doubt "Sandy will become a multi millionaire". That is not the reason many of us a a little concerned. I doubt you invested in BKMP so that Sandy would become a multi-millionaire.
you are both saying the same thing. BCO is basically owns 100% of TFN and so both are being bought out simultaneously. My guess is that this major communications company is looking at acquiring TFN and they need to buy BCO to do it. It's a win - win for the company buying BCO and for Sandy. Where that leaves us.... we'll find out eventually I guess but sure does not feel as good as I have felt in past when the company I invest in gets bought out!
u and every other person here!
veeeeeerrry niiiiiice!
i like her too. ;)
HELP! I've fallen and I can't reach my beer!
ya east side mid town, will talk to ya later have a good day.
hey... ur in NYC... whereabouts? I have a place there.
there are gonna be some very angry investors if we are holding 2 pairs or staights or flushes or three of a kind and we find out Sandy has got the royal flush!
how many businesses like TFN come around on a regular basis?
yes i still do hold a significant amount and am prepared to lose it all since I went into this knowing the risks but it would suck if that were to happen. This would make a major dent in my profits I have made trading on the positive side, however, it is a great learning experience. Good luck to you brother and hope we can look back on this stock without too much animosity.
when you are invested in BKMP for a long time... it is hard to accept that we may be getting screwed here. I hope Sandy is an ethical guy but somehow being a business man that he is, I highly doubt ethics is part of his personality.
i hope so. thanks
15 min before market opening and this board is dead!
Let me see if I understand what is happening. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sandy (who calls himself "we" in the most recent PR) is in "ongoing discussions for some time now" to sell BCO to an undisclosed "major communications company". I am to assume BKMP (Sandy) will get compensated for this transaction in the form of one or all of the following; money/options/perks/position in the buying company etc. Now BKMP, which is what we as shareholders have invested in, will no longer own BCO/TFN and so the value of BKMP will drop considerably in our eyes which makes this stock pretty much worthless. So we as shareholders are relying on the goodness of Sandy's heart to pass on the money he makes from the sale of BCO to us in the form of a cash dividend otherwise we are not going to see anything. Am I correct?
As Tina would say, "Good Wonderful Morning Fighters!" -eom
LOL cute - eom
didn't HRHR say we would be at .00005 by EOA?
:) pink sheet stocks are so much fun! Life would just not be that interesting if things like what is happening with BKMP did not happen.
even though you warned us.... i'll still be surprised.
just trying to understand why the PPS is still at .0002-.0003. I hate to sound skeptical but this isn't sitting right for me. I would think that a buyout would be good but shareholders do not seem to think so.
is there any incentive for the company that is buying BCO to keep the price of BKMP low? It doesn't make any sense because BCO is worth whatever it is worth regardless of what BKMP is trading at. True?
wow... i actually agree with you Mary!
did somebody say buyout?
be patient... it'll come
i think ranzy was being sarcastic
whre abouts in manhatten are ya. I have a place near 29th and 1st.

Sandy barely passed high school english... u give him way too much credit. You are way too sweet.
i didn't know you were a poet!
u deleted post #529... that was the best one. I spent a lot of time (more than a minute) writing that one! Oh well. good luck with BKMP... if the PPS goes to .001 I'll buy you a TFN thong!
i don't even want to get into ADNL as a pick... ROFLMAO!
