Don't be fooled into selling your shares because you think GGB will go bankrupt due to high operating costs. They have a billionaire backer paired with expert leadership.
This is a real company with real shops and real revenue and real licenses with strong financial backing. Don't be fooled with the start-up costs of creating a mega-enterprise.
It will take regulatory certainty to hold such a value. This is coming at the state level faster than the federal level, but the bipartisan H.R.5587 could change all that. However, once that certainly is achieved, growth potential will be endless, and we could be worth a billion or more within a very short period of time. The trend is in CVSI's favor.
Dear Valued Partner,
We’re reaching out to address the FDA’s recent Consumer Communication and Warning Letters related to CBD. CV Sciences supports their enforcement actions against companies who make unsubstantiated claims that CBD containing products can treat cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, opioid withdrawal, etc. These companies put consumers at risk while giving responsible companies, who have done their due diligence, a black eye.
That said, we are disappointed in the alarmist tone used by the FDA in their consumer update, which was released simultaneously with the Warning Letters, regarding the safety of CBD, in that they did not differentiate the vast range of products, servings, and ingredient forms. We agree with the FDA in that there are currently products that raise safety concerns due to their high levels of CBD or that are being marketed to children. As an industry leader, CV Sciences has conducted scientific studies (CVSI GRAS + J. Toxicology) on our specific hemp extract, made through a proprietary process, and considered the levels of CBD and our target consumer population to determine a safe amount that raises none of the potential health risks identified by FDA.
At CV Sciences, consumer safety is our top priority. The FDA stated that it cannot conclude that CBD is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) and this is because a GRAS affirmation is directly linked to a specific ingredient and conditions of use (serving size, age restrictions, etc.). To this point, we can share our research that supports the safety of our specific ingredients for our intended consumer. We believe that the FDA’s statements that CBD is not GRAS are directed toward companies that have piggy-backed on our research, without addressing the significant differences in ingredients, products, levels of CBD and serving size recommendations.
Furthermore, we advocate that the industry limits CBD to dietary supplements and topical products only—not as a food additive. We took this stance at the May 31, 2019 FDA public meeting and continue to support it. We’re optimistic that the FDA shares our goal to create a clear, regulatory path for science-based, hemp-derived CBD ingredients as dietary supplements, that provide an appropriate and safe level of CBD. Lastly, we welcome the opportunity for the FDA to draft regulation allowing for CBD as a dietary supplement, provided the industry, as a whole, responsibly steps up with sound science and research.
Questions? I’m available to address all of the above and to provide further clarification. Please contact Anissa Medina to schedule a call: education@cvsciences.com
Sincerely,
Stuart Tomc, Vice President, Regulatory Science & Education

All of the MSO's that are sitting consumables on the sides will hop in after federal regulatory clarity. After clarity, I think they will all jump in at once, which could quickly increase our store count towards 50,000 stores since we are one of the most trusted brands, hence the PGA golf tourney sponsorship.
Frivolous lawsuit with no merit.
This article is based on pure hysteria. I keep up to date on the case; the case survived the motion to dismiss, because the court needs expert testimony to determine whether or not the non-final "final" rejections were considered material to investors. Based on my research, only final rejections that occur after all appeals have been exhausted are actually material to investors --not final rejections that are in the process of being appealed. --Those are still considered patent-pending since the process is incomplete. It will be a while before I can judge Dowling. Right now, there’s far too much regulatory uncertainty leaving me without enough information to give him a grade for his efforts.
Why do insider buys show for CVSI on NASDAQ's website but not for other OTC companies?

For inflammation, CBD seems MUCH safer than ibuprofen. Check these out:

Yet, I can buy a barrel of the stuff at Walgreens.
Who is the FDA trying to convince about CBD's harms?
It's criminally insane that the US has not ended the war on drugs after realizing that it empowers foreign billion-dollar illegal drug operations, and it literally extracts tax-free American dollars and hands them to foreign criminals. Supply will always meet demand. Legalize everything, and educate the children about the harms of each drug, and let an educated population decide what's best for them, and let all the dollars flow to tax-paying businesses instead of to an illicit foreign market. Ending the drug war is the best thing that could possibly happen to our economy. Just think about what happened to the alcohol cartels when the War on Alcohol ended.
If Nielsen is correct, we’ll jump back up to $4 quickly and to $10 not long after.
Don't forget about the United States anti-dumping laws.
Most FDA officials are probably heavily invested in big pharma aside from the revolving door thing they have going on with them. Congress ought to reel them in. Too much conflict of interest, which I'm sure the country's founders would scoff at. So much for "draining the swamp."

I think the analysts have a good idea what the future of the industry will look like. They still have strong buys on this.
One thing different about 4th quarter is that expectations are low compared to previous quarters where expectations were high. I expect a much better 2020 as states clarify CBD regulations ahead of the FDA enforcement discretion, allowing us to enter those markets with our top-selling consumables. Big year as this all plays out.
So, brushing people off as conspiracy theorists instead of engaging them directly would be resorting to a character insults, right? I remember Republican G. W. Bush doing a lot of brushing off.

The company said they were now focusing on becoming cash-flow positive now that the app is developed. Leafbuyer's software is integrated into Flowhub's. Flowhub raised $27 million ($23 million from Evolv --a KraftHeinz venture capital firm) to spread their Point of Sale software to dispensaries all over the US. Berkshire Hathaway owns 26% of KraftHeinz. --Surely they had a say, right? Who heads Berkshire Hathaway again?
Ibuprofen kills 16,000 Americans a year, and I can buy a huge barrel of it at Walgreens. It also annually sends 100,000 to the emergency room and causes lifelong gastritis, kidney problems, ulcers, and gall bladder failure after just 2 weeks of straight use. I've also read that Ibuprofen causes serious reproductive harm.
I can buy this at Walgreens.. --Unlimited amounts. --No prescription necessary.

I was three of Ibuprofen's emergency room cases in 2017. Ibuprofen almost killed me. If it wasn't for my high intellect, I am sure I would have died. I couldn't eat anything for months. I got so skinny that you could see my bones. I was full of ulcers and gastritis. My keen healing sense led me to a 90% recover where I don't need PPI's anymore, whereas most people in my situation get stuck on them for life. I'll tell you my protocol one day. It saved me. I insist that I have my hemp extract as an alternative to the Ibuprofen which nearly killed me.
People like me will riot if the FDA pulls FSHE from the market.
Considering that it's already expected that we will have a "choppy" 4th quarter per the last conference call, you don't think that expectation is now already baked into the price since it's public knowledge that CVSI isn't expecting a great 4th quarter?
Amazing article on the safety of CBD contrasting WHO and FDA reports:
https://straininsider.com/fda-who-statements-safety-cbd-scott-shannon/
FDA matters less and less every day that a new state comes out with their own CBD laws. You’ll see. Pay attention over the next 3-5 years, and you might learn something.
I don’t agree with you at all. This is investment grade and soon-to-be NASDAQ. Go set your little stop losses, and leave LT investments to the big boys that know what they’re doing. It takes far more intelligence to pick a great LT stock than it does to trade on volatility.
Have faith friend. This is expected to be a multi billion dollar industry, and we’re leading the way.
Just when you thought Cornerstone's tiprank couldn't get ANY worse, I saw this:

Are you from Earth? You seem out of touch with reality.
Decriminalization does not strengthen cartels like Dr. Bill Bennett falsely believes. Just ask the alcohol cartels. And this guy was our DRUG CZAR in the 80's??? --For real? Where does the White House find these nutcases?

Yessir. I shall be here for quite some time. I agree that the regulatory environment is temporary. This industry will have its time. Investors, including myself, were a little ahead of the regulations, and it caused is some damage, but I see nothing but sunshine and rainbows 10 years out.
That’s what the FDA is for, but they aren’t doing their job, and the states are beating them to the regulations game even though this is what we pay the FDA well over $3 billion a year to do. In my lifetime, I have never seen a more pathetic organization.
The FDA might not be able to do anything if the states block them out.
“It stops the FDA from getting involved, which means that consumers have to be vigilant about the products they buy.”
