BvA spread (again)..
i commented on it being tight yesterday (tues) and was right back to .07 spread or so for most of day until that 185k sell order popped up. it handled it like a champ though. Granted is 'only' a 13k $$ or so transaction..but thats a good chunk of avg daily volume
was impressed with how it handled that big ask.
i tried contacting the company asking that question about why split the pie so much....never got an answer. (although in the interest of full disclosure...it wasnt really a proper communication..i filled out the little 'contact us' box on their webpage...but still...didnt get response)
re. Grassls
yes...stock splits typically are to attract more retail investors. And it does not change the valuation.
Talking about Amazon splitting at 1400 per share makes a lot more sense than SCNA at a nickel.
Now i know the conversation isnt about splitting..but its about outstanding shares. My original question..which i still have not been able to figure out an answer for is why a company would divide their pie into 10 BILLION pieces. as opposed to say, 1 billion. why make par value .005? why not make par value 0.5 or 1.0 ? Youre not scaring off people with a 1.00 price. If anything, its the opposite. Real money isnt going to pay this thing any mind.
And i feel like i kind of started this entire conversation..i certainly have not meant to cause any discord...but at the same time...i am a seasoned trader/investor...and this is a legitimate concern of mine.
Despite these concerns, I still have started a position. I dont really plan to add anything at the moment...but I am also not looking for a reason to sell either.
Price per share and O/S and all that aside... assuming their financials are legit...they MAKE something that they sell...their revenues are exploding..they are profitable..they have cash on hand and have no debt. (again...assuming financials are legit...i am always leery of OTC stocks, naturally)
re retiring shares....
i am not very familiar with this process, but off top of head....wouldnt any retirement of shares (which i would assume would come from owners' piece of the pie) mean less ownership of the company for the owners? would they do that for the betterment of shareholders?
here's my point re BxA spread...
i just watched a 300 share tick on this on the ask. which is what...like 13% higher than the bid. 300 shares @ .0589 = 17.67$$
my stake just increased 13% and its market cap just increased by like 70 million bucks....on an 18 dollar transaction!!!
thats NUTS to me.
not a bash...just an observation. and as for who owns what as far as the # of total shares....to me its irrelevant...the pie is still cut into 10 billion pieces...regardless of who has the most pieces.
come on...we've all got an extra 20 bucks lying around...lets shoot this thing up 20% ! :)
bid v ask
haha...at least this morning so far...the BxA is a respectable spread :)
and if i may ask.....
i see there are half a dozen or so deleted messages. may i ask why they were deleted?
re. my thoughts on several posts....
its been a few days since i have stopped by here...so i see there was a plethora of unread posts. In those few days i have been wondering many of the same things i see have actually been brought up on here recently.
Mainly, i was looking at the lack of volume. Take friday for example...its volume was 180k ... that equates to $$ 9,000 thats it??? for a company with the revenue numbers they show and growth rate... that is an INSANELY low amount of $$ being exchanged in the marketplace. Makes me wonder why the complete lack of interest.
As far as the spread in BxA ...i dont think that necessarily indicates shorts... its just the byproduct of being so thinly traded where a $100 transaction can move the stock 15% between the .051 and .059 BxA . it almost makes me want to 'whack the ask' for 50, 100 bucks worth every day at the close just to see that gain in my portfolio lol.
again...it doesnt make sense to me how little money is exchanging hands here.
Also, while it may be essentially flat from a year ago....its certainly made some big % moves...multiple times, both directions, over the course of the year. I refute the 'it never moves' claim.
I think the daily chart actually looks pretty healthy, in a big picture sense. It finally broke above .05 and ran to almost .08 ...then has been drifting back to its breakout point. And the way the daily is now set up... the .05 support also happens to converge with the rising 50ma which is currently .0503. So obviously needs to hold this major support area of a nickel. Upside vs downside volume looks healthy.... declining volume after its run towards .08 on the downside ...flushing out weaker hands.
Assuming the fundamentals are legit numbers.... you have fundamentals lining up perfectly with technicals.
Which begs the question....what gives??? The stock market is the most brilliant instrument in existence at sniffing out new possibilities and opportunities. You have to operate under the assumption that you will never be the first to have an idea, to be the first on board. So as it pertains to SCNA ... what gives?? Seems like we are the first ones having the idea... but we shouldnt be.
and this is my problem with the 10 BILLION shares. 10 BILLION. so rough math...10B / .05 = 500mil valuation . every 1/10th of a penny increase in share price adds 10 million to its valuation. just keep that in mind. which also ties into wondering why its so thinly traded. there is NO reason why a $100 transaction should be able to move its market cap by millions of dollars lol
just my random thoughts. ive always been more of a short term technical trader...but this one is supposed to be an actual investment... so im not too worried about the daily action....its all been short term noise so far from when ive dipped my toes in. i see no reason not to keep my bids in place for now at .05 or fractionally above/below
looking good so far....
nice little bounce off 0.55 area on the daily after consolidation for few weeks. lets get this jiggling and wiggling :)
officially in
bought first few chunks of shares.... so i am officially in.
lets go SCNA!! :)
follow up...
to BigBri.. thank you for posting that communication with them. I had not yet had a chance to reach out to them, so appreciate it.
dongee... i would add a response...but i wont justify doing DD. If you have concerns with me raising legitimate questions...then makes me wonder YOUR motives.
anywho... after all the information shared and through my DD... i will be buying some shares. starting small for now, but im in.
the name Juan Murga
If you google the name ...the 6th results is a link to bloomberg:
https://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/people/19783600-juan-carlos-murga
I will assume that the information is incorrect as far as him being listed as CEO of SCNA. (although it was clearly updated at least as recently as sept 2017)
HOWEVER.... again..these ties to Zerez and DRMC.
You say they have no ties...but just by saying it doesnt make it so. I am offering evidence and paper trails that suggest there ARE ties.
if there are no ties....where is bloomberg getting their information? They are a pretty reputable name.
Zerez Holdings...
Thank you for your response.
I do believe, respectfully, that you are incorrect that ZRZH has no ties to SCNA. The paper trail is right there. Look at the mailing address on their own homepage..not their offices..but of the utah address. Its the EXACT same address on filings from zerez aka that mattress company from 2, 3 years ago
I will also add....while this does concern me...there are 2 ways to look at this. First..these guys jump into a business...try and make a buck and jump ship when it doesn't work. Realistically...is that any different than what we, as investors, do? Just on a different sized scale. So if that is the case...did they finally find a winner in the pot sector? if that IS the case...then while its not the most noble of business strategies...at the end of the day..i am here to make money.
However, if they were directly involved with these email pump and dump schemes on their previously owned businesses' ...and whether or not financial reports are legit... then obviously, would not merit any further consideration.
I do sincerely hope that is not the case. I shall continue to do my DD until i am satisfied with the information, one way or another. All the (potentially, in my eyes) shady business history dealings aside...SCNA/next gen farming... they certainly seem to have a legitimate business with revenues, profits, and cash on hand.
(and the 10 billion shares thing...again...it is right there in the press releases. there may only be 6B outstanding... but the par value is still based on 10 B shares. even if it is 6B ...still why so many...lower that ratio and drop a couple decimal points in the par.... )
Again, I appreciate the response and look forward to continued discussion.
follow up comment...
sorry forgot to add this from something i came across from 2015..which ties into zerez holdings and this DRMC...
The company just announced in September a major name change to ZEREZ Holdings (www.zerezholdings.com).
The new ticker symbol is soon to follow..
Earlier this year, DRMC announced its new business direction into the Machine Tool and Metals Industries and related sectors with and emphasis in Aerospace, Commercial, Industrial Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales.
this is the same company!!! this is concerning.
Looking to invest in SCNA....
However I have some red flag that raise concerns for me.
And let me get this in the clear right away: i am NOT here to bash this stock. I am here for information, because the more I dig...the less confident i am. They seem to be a REAL company doing REAL things..
my concern is their involvement with zerez holdings. They have been involved with multiple pump and dump penny stock scams and routinely change business directions. I am sure there are more than 1...but just one company i found... DRMC ..no longer around...
this weird name 'juan murga' keeps popping up ...if you click on a google hit of 'juan murga' profile on linked in.... up pops john taylor
Interesting too...that DRMC ...they originally issued 975 million shares at 0.0001 par value
SCNA? 10 billion shares at 0.0001 par value
same address attached to both companies..some 'action stock transfer' in Utah.
and why are there typos in their 'about us' page? thats inexcusable.
Again..not here to bash..if their numbers are legit...its exciting and i want to invest...but this worries me
Thanks in advance if anyone has insight!
