The CEO of this company has lied to and misled shareholders repeatedly, has withheld negative data, failed to disclose what they know about PFS - which remains the primary endpoint for this trial - cannot accomplish even the most routine business tasks such as submitting SEC filings on time and keeping the stock off the Pink Sheets, had her hand slapped by the SEC for deceptive and incomplete reporting, operates the company in a vacuum of silence that suggests disdain for shareholders, has made this company a laughingstock with no opportunity for buyout or partnership, and in 10 years has almost completely destroyed the value of shareholder investments - including single handedly wrecking the reputation of one of Britain's most prominent investors - all while enriching herself to the tune of millions of dollars with her $45,000 per month salary and insider deals, and still, to this day, continues to lie and mislead about where things stand as she refuses to release the overripe data from the P3 DCVax-L trial. It's a game of deception that plays for fools those who cannot think for themselves and cannot see the obvious truth in front of their faces.
Nothing irks me more than people who take others' money and enrich themselves, yet provide absolutely nothing in return for shareholders. What a disgrace.
Hey, what happened to all of those predictions of November news? I thought this was supposed to be the month for sure. Right? That's what I was told over and over again, yet here we are with nothing, and next week is Thanksgiving. You mean all of those predictions were WRONG? Just like they have always been? Even though, as one poster put it yesterday, "History means nothing here" before going on to say that he guarantees we are not grasping at straws? "History means nothing here" is just embarrassingly ridiculous because anyone with even a lick of common sense can see that, in fact, history means everything here. What you see is what you get. Always has been; always will be. Hey, I hear they've got a great looking booth at the SNO conference! Looking forward to flipper44's notification to the regulators.
Funny that the 10-Q doesn't say anything about the SAP being submitted to the regulatory agencies. I mean, you can kinda sorta infer it, but . . . that's not what it says. So why are we hearing this rather significant "news" third-hand on a message board from someone who apparently called DI? You would think that if the SAP had been submitted to the regulatory agencies, the language in the 10-Q would state that fact clearly and unequivocally. Instead, what they wrote is just more muddled language about "proceeding with the regulatory processes." Huh? Why not just say "The SAP has been submitted to each of the four regulators and the company will now proceed with following each of their respective regulatory processes"? How hard is that?
If my name started with a "b" and ended "iosectinvestor" I would be coming up with dozens of excuses for why they choose to do things the way they do. But since I am a rational and sane person who is not in complete panic about how this whole thing is blowing up in his face, I have lots of questions about what is really going on here.
BTW, has anyone bothered to check out the update on the CEO's loan. Nothing burns me more than people who take other people's money and enrich themselves to the tune of millions of dollars, but provide nothing in return.
It's kind of surprising to see the restrained enthusiasm about this 10-Q. Maybe what I've been telling everyone for the last two years is finally starting to sink in. Anyone who is fair-minded who reads this 10-Q can see immediately that it doesn't change anything, despite the carefully presented language intended to make us think it has. So they've finished a draft of the SAP. That's terrific. They should have had that done five years ago (and probably did), so saying they've finished a draft doesn't mean anything. The 10-Q also tells us they are getting really, really close to finishing up those queries. In other words, nothing's changed. They're still not finished.
This 10-Q is yet another example of how these lawyers play their word games to make us think things are happening when they really aren't. They aren't giving us topline, folks. They aren't unblinding. Is there really anything else you need to know? The charade will continue indefinitely. That much we know for sure.
Meanwhile, the CEO will continue to receive a $45,000 per month salary for accomplishing . . . well, what exactly? There is nothing lower than people who take other people's money, enrich themselves to the tune of millions of dollars, and provide nothing in return.
It wasn't a dream more than six years ago when I first bought in. Things looked very promising then. Now, not so much. They botched this trial and they've been lying to shareholders ever since they learned years ago (even though the trial remained technically blinded) that they weren't going to show efficacy for the primary endpoint. They never shared that information with shareholders, as they should have. Instead, they manufactured a charade to keep this thing going so they could keep paying themselves without ever releasing the data. Some people would call that a scam and a fraud. At some point, and hopefully soon, the authorities are going to have to step in and put an end to it.
Why is this company lying to shareholders?
Why are they refusing to release the data?
Why didn't they announce efficacy for pfs four years ago when the primary endpoint was discernible?
Here's an idea: let's come up with some more meaningless distractions. Let's parse some more meaningless blinded data! Anything to avoid the obvious truth!
Yes, the FDA, a government agency, is actually secretly running a company they are charged with regulating because they are totally committed to seeing it succeed. Yeah, I see it now. That explains everything. It's all starting to make perfect sense. I suppose all of the FDA brass own NWBO warrants, too? I mean, that would be a logical extension of this perfectly rational, not at all insane postulation, right?
The more I read this board, the more I am convinced that our education system has completely failed us. At some point, our schools stopped teaching kids how to think, and instead started teaching them that its OK to believe whatever they want. Call it Ruby Slipper Education. Just click your heels three times, wish really hard and it will be true! That's how we end up with mind-bending theories like the one I just read that said the FDA is really running this trial. It's a pathetically sad state of affairs.
Why is NWBO refusing to release the data? Why are some here actively trying to give credence to the "four years past last enrollment" date as if it means something when the truth is it doesn't mean anything at all? Next year it will be five years past last enrollment. The year after that it will be six years past last enrollment. In six months it will be four years and six months past last enrollment. So what? Who the f--k cares?
Enough with delay tactics and games. Where is the data? Why are they refusing to release it? Why didn't they tell us whether the trial showed efficacy for the pfs endpoint four years ago? How is that SAP coming along? Hmmm, not so good apparently.
Getting nervous yet? You should be.
I'm guessing they'll pull another one of their scams to pump the sp a few pennies, like announcing that the SAP is really, seriously, not joking this time, almost complete, or that they have another paper coming out in a top-tier journal this time signed by 100 doctors. And then they'll keep refusing to release the data while they continue to rake in millions. It's a helluva good thing they've got going, and they're not the only ones doing it. Refusing to release the data from failed trials seems to be the new m/o in startup biotech. You have to hand it to NWBO - they really are pioneers because you could argue they invented this new technique of getting rich while running shareholders into the ground.
The irony of this comic is that it shows exactly what NWBO is trying to do - manipulate the data to reflect a predetermined result. They are not having any luck, and that's why they refuse to release the data.
Willingly allowing yourself to be scammed is a bad look, but it doesn't look like the pom poms will stop waving until the heroes are being led out in handcuffs. Stay tuned!
What kind of insane person sits at his keyboard all day and night putting out hype posts about a loser stock? It certainly begs a lot of questions, and maybe some that the SEC should look into. The level of denial of the obvious has reached a fever pitch that reeks of desperation. Everybody else has come to understand the sham that is being perpetrated here. The vast majority of clear thinkers can plainly see a company that refuses to release the data from a 12-year-old trial, and understands the simple reason why they are refusing to release the data. But in at least one camp the delusion continues to spill unabated, and is often filled with vitriol and threats for anyone who has a different perspective. The lack of self-awareness is staggering. But no worries. Accountability is coming for many when this thing finally blows up.
Well we've broken through the $.24 barrier on our way back down to the teens, and it seems like interest in this company is at an all-time low. Why won't they release the data? It seems like that whole ginormous SAP process is not working out the way they had hoped. I wonder why that would be? Weren't we promised "this summer" and then "September?" Were those just more lies to placate the masses and buy more time? When will the Golden Goose stop laying eggs for company officers? Have they run out of options for borrowing more money? The preponderance of evidence that has been accumulating for the last five years strongly suggests something is seriously wrong here, and yet the company has not disclosed any of it.
Does this technology really work? And can they prove it? Twitter is pointing out that the DC technology is flawed and has been tried before in a trial for the TriVax treatment that failed. I don't know anything about TriVax but I don't recall seeing it discussed here. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention. I'm sure some of our resident experts will have an opinion on why TriVax is any different from DCVax-L. From a Tweet by the Medical Research Collaborative, LLC, posted yesterday:
The talk about the difficulty of this SAP is beyond absurd. We all know what they are measuring (ever since they dropped the primary indicator the trial was designed to measure and never said a word about it). We all know they have more than enough data. And we all would have thought an SAP would have been crafted years ago, first to measure PFS and then to measure the new "gold standard" long tail when they decided that PFS was no longer the gold standard. It shouldn't take a competent group of scientists, radiologists, oncologists, and whoever else they invited to the party more than one week to create an SAP that can accurately measure a long tail. The whole "ginormous" task nonsense is just an excuse, another delay tactic that has bought them another year of time because people hear it and believe what they want to believe. The whole "we're just a little bitty company trying our hardest, pedal to the metal" excuse is total BS. The fact that other companies have accomplished the same thing in a matter of a few weeks proves that this is not a serious effort, but, rather, a charade. The excuse-making has got to end. Where is the data? Why are they refusing to release it?
I know many of you are slowly coming to the realization that I have been right all along. I know it's hard for you to accept, but at some point you've got to start demanding answers. You can't keep saying, "They have their own timeline and it's not going to be dictated by what someone on a message board thinks!" That was a fun argument five years ago. It's not anymore. You have been lied to repeatedly, there is no product, the value of your investment has been destroyed, and at the same time company officers have made off with millions. I think you all know in your guts what is coming next. If they even submitted an SAP (which I doubt) it will never be approved because all evidence suggests they botched the trial and are unable to prove that DCVax-L works (even though the unofficial data and anecdotal evidence suggests it does). There is no top line right around the corner. They are playing games. It is way past time to wake up and demand the truth.
Next time one of you gets a call from the secretary at NWBIO how about asking her why she is collecting this information. I'm sure you'll get a straight answer. I think they are just tidying up the books. Either that or they are preparing to send out invites to the Christmas party in the Bahamas. Probably will be on one of their yachts. Don't think I'll be getting an invitation, not that they would have my number.
They're going to have to find some money somewhere if they want to keep this charade going, and I expect they will need to do it this month. Don't forget you folks already voted to allow up to 1.2 billion shares, so I expect more dilution is coming. But with the share price where it is, they don't have a lot of room to work with. With only a small piece of real estate left to sell, it wouldn't seem this party can go on much longer unless they produce the goods, and for some reason they just don't seem to want to do that. I wonder how that SAP is coming along. LOL. There is definitely a smell in the air . . .
Hey, just checking in because I've been following this stock and heard they released topline this summer. Was wondering if someone could update me on what the topline looked like? Must not have been that great because there's no volume and the share price hasn't moved up.
What's that you say? They didn't release topline? Oh, so they lied to shareholders again? Wow, that's disappointing. But I thought they went to data lock last November? Right after they submitted an application to NICE, right? I mean, that's what I was told on this message board more than once. What about the SAP? Surely that has been submitted by now? Wait, you mean they haven't even submitted the SAP?
I'm guessing all of this disappointment must have been the last straw for even the most ardent followers. It defies belief that after almost 12 years of watching a trial that obviously failed to meet its primary endpoint but was never disclosed, seeing the share price plummet from $12 to $.25 after massive dilutions all while company leaders have continued to pay themselves month after month and work insider deals, and being lied to over and over again about timelines for the supposed game-changing cancer cure product, that even the most diehard of the diehard would throw in the towel. What is that smell in the air? I believe it is the stench of a scam, and it keeps getting more and more pungent by the day. Surely you can smell it too.
Wouldn't be a day around here without some new info from Chris L and Larry Smith. Must mean something is imminent. They've done such a good job of building the credibility of this stock that there's a chance we'll stay above $.20 this week.
That darn deductive reasoning can be a tricky thing when there are narratives to support. I mean, sure, not mentioning the product so many love to tout must mean that they are sending a secret bat signal (wink, wink) about how they are just days away from ramping up manufacturing of said product, no? Because if they had mentioned it, that would mean that nothing's up, right? I think I'm getting the hang of this deductive reasoning thing.
It's sort of like what someone posted here a couple of days ago, that since the company has not hired a CFO it must mean that a big pharma buyout is imminent. Logic like this is simply hard to dispute. It's just so obviously evident, it must be true. I am just overwhelmed by the trenchant thought that guides me on this message board each and every day, and I will be forever indebted to the logicians who have taught me that up is actually down, black is actually white, on is actually off, and NWBO is not a scam.
