Why OGI not getting any love today?

I have a feeling things could turn epic today. Now that the tree has been shaken, need to get that Phillip Morris news re-circulating...Happy with my deep discount on Aurora and especially Organigram this morning!!

the whole sector is red with Aurora being the least affected. To me its something else going on

Can anyone explain the big drop in price right before 3pm? Aphria had the same drop at the same time.

so glad i got the he11 out of Namaste and added to my Aurora/Aphria/Organigram positions. I got out of Wheaton too, even though its flying right now. Oh well, good luck to you all. I may come back if this stock ever shows signs of life. I just got tired of waiting.

I dont disagree with you on any of that...All im saying is all eyes arent on Canada right now for medical. Medical has been legal a long time there. Ive kind of lurked on this forum for quite some time and I always read your posts as they are very insightful.

The stock is NOT down today because of dilution. Why was it up 7% Tuesday and 13% Wednesday? Dilution? Why is the whole sector down today? Diltuion?

No one cares about it being legal medically from an investment standpoint. This "green rush" is about recreational being legal. Its what is drawing the attention and money from around the world. And currently, its NOT legal. I think when its "officiallly official" the sector will run

You may be right but i dont think you can say that yet...WHy? because when the sector is green Aurora is right there running neck and neck with the big dogs every time. When its red, its red. ITs not like on green days this thing acts like Wheaton and just goes sideways or down even. Aphria and Canopy down big today too..not as much as Aurora but Aurora had a trmendous run this week prior to yesterday

Removing the risk of it not being legal isnt value increasing? Well, at least thats what the narrative was leading up to yesterdays vote. "Its going to be a monumental day in Canada as the world watches"....except it was not really the official vote.

Anyone care to explain WTF??? How can yesterdays vote be bad? the ammendments? And does anyone truly know how this process works? Its my understanding that the house says yay or nay on which ammendements they will keep and then there will be another vote on Monday....The big question from me is , IS THAT IT??? Correct me if Im wrong but why would the vote on June 7th be any different than the one that passed in March? Several liberal senators were out of town on business and they still won quite handily. With a full representation on June 7th, how would this not pass? Am i missing something? Seems like they got the votes in the bag to me

At the end of the day, the whole sector moves together as one. been that way for months now. Sure, some stocks fall harder and some rise a little faster but rarely do they not all go the same direction on a given day. IMHO good news matters very little anymore on a company level. Not one MJ stock is going to take off on its own. Its not until whatever is holding the sector down is anything going to take off.

Big day for (Pick any stock in sector) .... oh wait it’s still at $x.xx ..... whooo hooo .... how many more millions of shares have to be absorbed before this thing budges?

I go back to what i always say, CBW looks (to me anyways) to be moving at roughly the same rate as all of the other MJ stocks. Go ahead and pick 5 or 6 Canadian MJ stocks and look at their 6 month charts...It doesnt even matter which ones really. They all look roughly the same, including Wheaton.

Im going to go ahead and say NOTHING..Why? Because ive been in this sector since November and ever since mid January good news matters not, and bad news matters not. The entire sector moves as a whole either up or down. News on an individual company, with the exception of the big 3 maybe, doesnt matter. The SECTOR is what needs good news and then all boats will float. To me investing in this sector is not betting on any one company, rather you are betting on the sector itself. You can probably pick 50 different companies 6 month chart and they all look roughly the same

Trading was halted on the warrants (CBW.WT) not shares (CBWT). my understanding that the warrants were what was holding price down and now that they have expired looks like it could bounce a little..The news is probably just that of the expiration

Im not Canadian but read where the last administration did this over 20 times. Trudeau has yet to do this to my knowledge but it is now threatening for the first time.

That would be for 14 days..closer to 50 in the longer ranges and less than if looking at 7 days or less

And keep in mind if the opposing Senators want to push the July 1st date back, is that really a bad thing? Pushing the date back also means they have every intention of making it happen. To me, if they give the indication that it IS GOING TO HAPPEN, then forget the date..it doesn't matter.

Correct me if Im wrong because I probably am. Im sort of a newb. But, seeing this is a sector wide issue, do the last support levels of an individual stock really matter? I get what you are saying as far as 10.30 being the last support level before the last time it bounced, but it seems like whatever is behind the sector dip is really who is in the drivers seat. And right now that someone or something is asleep at the wheel !

No offense intended, but you all need to open your eyes!! This dip has NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT AURORA IS DOING. Ill say it one more time, EVERY STOCK IN THE SECTOR is taking the same bath.
