Awesome to see the CEO present a clear plan today, focused on the future. Hard to believe he would submit all those filings and detailed plan without something big happening here! Hold tight
Volume looking very positive over the past month. Let's hope that trend continues and CEO sticks to the plan to update financials by EOY.
How could they possibly 'make the cut' given that the only reasons to buy that you stated are horrible? It's just some unfounded declaration that this is somehow going to rise from the dead. It's just really bad advice - give everyone something substantive, not some unfounded bs. Nobody needs financial expertise to see that.
Are we all supposed to individually call Greg to ask him what's going on with the business? It seems to make much more sense to just communicate what you've already been told from him. Of course, that's ignoring the fact that it's his responsibility as the business owner to transparently inform his shareholders of what's going on (which he hasn't). He's been assessing / reviewing financials for over a year now - it does not take that long to assess a small penny-stock company... so he's either an idiot or he's hiding something (aka another front-man/fraudster).
It'll be interesting to see if and how the business registration changes when it expires end of this month... Mitchell purchased his home (which is the listed business address) in July 2008, so this registration has been updated since it was filed in 2002 - a list of actions/amendments are at the bottom.
So between the potential dangers and the difficulty in getting global regulatory approval, how does that fit in with the existing narrative between Energous-Apple-Dialog?
Energous claims to be working with a "top-tier" partner
Dialog makes investment into Energous for $25 million
Apple partners with Dialog on power management initiative for $600 million over 3 year time frame
Is that all smoke and mirrors?
It should not take over a year to identify an obvious scam. Great management does not keep shareholders in the dark for that long - this isn't some giant multi-national company that would need so long to review. If Greg truly is putting his own money into the review, he's either an idiot for taking that long to give shareholders any sort of substantive information (he would have already made a lot of money himself if he was able to do that), or more likely he's just another front man to the scam.
Empty promises like this might go to the moon in 2019 is not helpful for anyone, and again just ridiculous speculation.
The waters are calm? The waters are frozen - the price hasn't budged from basically zero in over a year, nor has there been any significant news to move the needle. Any suggestion that increased demand is coming is purely speculation, and unfortunately not helpful advice for anyone.
Last time the company had any existing locations it was a scam/fraud, we don't even know about how much debt they're in (after almost a year of "reviewing financials") and we're speculating about 5,000 locations with 10 in china and 24 hrs. Maybe we should figure out the current state first before wild speculation... LOL pipe dreams...
Greg Mitchell was part of the situation back in 2015 as a franchisee for the Tampa location, when the concept failed. What is different that we should expect a better result? What's Greg's motivation to make the concept work this time for shareholders? It makes it hard to believe he's not part of the scam.

The Apple-Dialog deal is specifically focused around Dialog's power management segment, which Dialog only has a limited number of products currently listed on their website (including WattUp from Energous). Given that the deal is for products coming out in the next three years, the future looks promising.
Looks like the market overreacted - good to see that Dialog Semi reiterated their growing relationship and product roadmap with Energous in their quarterly report yesterday
The current CEO has not stated anything, except through his apparent best friend MikeyD... just a quick glance at the 2016 financials should say enough about the debt situation. Given that the company has not improved or become profitable since then, I'm not sure how they would have off-loaded that amount of debt (so while I hope for the best, it's a really steep uphill climb for the company)

A claim from a single person that the company is doing something to get back up and running is worthless and meaningless until it's validated. A CEO is only "active" if they're transparently doing something to improve the company. Without knowing that things are happening (from somebody other than a single person who has not been proven as a credible source of info), it's just hype. I've also tried to validate all of this information across various sources and the furthest I've gotten is Mitchell's home address in Florida lol, which is meaningless... I've lost on GRLT too, so by all means I want it to improve but don't see any reason at the moment that it will.
Annual shareholder meeting being held tomorrow... hoping for some positive words and guidance from the management team

Just to provide some info on what a rumor / fraud actually is...
Rumor - circulating a story or report of uncertain / doubtful truth or unverified account.
Fraud - something intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities
As of now, technically Greg Mitchell owns the rights to Grill-it and can thus be considered "CEO", but by no means does that make these unverified statements of "working on financials" and "creating value" legitimate claims that something positive is being done to make something of the company (until we hear it from Greg or a legit PR release). GRLT was proven a scam before, so until proven otherwise, why would everyone assume that the company is turning itself around and simply take your word for it (with zero proof)? That's literally the definition of a rumor/fraud.
So no PR, no updated financials, no website, no confirmation that somebody new and legitimate is running the company... yet we're expected to believe that you can find some of this info on google and there are no links provided to prove it?
This definitely does not sound promising...
Energous due to showcase their products at the Mobile World Congress next week, demonstrating their strong partnership with Dialog. Good to see this partnership working out and hopefully some vision coming out of this conference into what products will come to market first... Holding onto WATT for the long term.

Looks like Apple signed a deal with a New Zealand wireless charging company as of today... Wondering who the "Tier 1" electronics company that they claimed to be working with could be
