The sell of the retail division is really no surprise. To be a successful consumer goods company the company doesn’t have to own the stores it’s products are sold in. How many consumer goods companies have been successful with that model? Now there are retail brands who have their own consumer brand products but never in this space. Initially until the market matured I guess there was a need to have stores but now there’re thousands of stores. Why continue to compete in that space? And remember I predicted eventually Canopy will be a division of constellation brands but not until the company can show sustainable profits. Just the beginning Stay Tuned
BIOSTEEl plus Walmart! Tweed drinks, DeepSpace, Quatreau it coming, Stay long. And above all else as always Stay Tuned.
Yes sir, Stay Tuned
LOL!!!
Not wrong and not gone. An investment is a lot different than a trade. Stay Tuned
I’m always around just waiting for the next opportunity to buy more shares. And the best is yet to come Stay Tuned
I know exactly what I own and why
No not exactly. I’ve made MAJOR money on Canopy. But I still feel this is a great long term hold. So two things can be true at the same time. So your assessment can be looked at as being valid if you look at the numbers now. But I disagree with it because the opinion leaves no enthusiasm for the future
You state Canopy is a Canadian company but is also Constellations Brands? I think the later is true which makes Canopy an American company. If we think out long term Canopy will eventually be rolled into STZ. So that’s the end game which benefit both shareholders base (dividend and increased dividend). This is the stock you buy it and put it away and will it to your grandkids. Stay Tuned
Take advantage of this time. Continue to accumulate if need be to average down. There are a few on this board that appears to be negative on the future of this stock. This company’s management has position this company for robust success in the future. I can tell you from experience when it finally catches on the move will be so dramatic it’s going to be unreal. So my advice is to tune out the noise and stay the course. Stay Tuned
LOL!!!
I drink them now and they are great and now with this distribution deal it will be readily available. Awesome!! Stay Tuned
Quatreau will be huge. Wonder what the initial states are? Stay Tuned
Here lately there seems to be an immediate need to raise capital. I wonder why? Hmm Stay Tuned
Yeah GOD forbid Ireplace a thousand year old tradition with all the health complications that comes along with it with something that gives health benefits and relaxation. The nerve of me!!! Stay Tuned
Mood altering plus health benefits if this was readily available for me it would definitely replace some wine consumption. Stay Tuned
I’ve said it before Quatreau will be the game changer. With STZ gold network it will be a billion dollar business alone. CBD not THC drinks will be the entrance into this category for all non-cannabis users. The drinks are amazing but they need major distribution and some media attention (major star promotion). Stay Tuned
Quatreau is a game changer. If you like sparkling water there’s no way you can not like this drink just choose your flavor. Personally I like passion fruit and guava. Stay Tuned
Quatreau now available in the U.S!!! Stay Tuned
LOL!!! You guys are hilarious
I understand your frustrations with Acreage. But David has on numerous occasions spoken about how satisfied he is with the new CEO as an operator. This implies that he also wasn’t pleased with the way business was being ran at Acreage. In David I trust. The moment he took the reins at Canopy I knew it was no longer a trade but a company you could be comfortable with investing in long term. No Actually it was with constellations brand’s investment that I felt comfortable with CGC as an investment. Because I knew they would eventually turn the company from hype to a company that executes. I felt the same way about Acreage once the decision was made to buy it. I really don’t believe in diversification in one particular area. I try to invest in what I think is best in class. And because Acreage is attached at the hip to Canopy by default it is best in class in the US. I know it may not appear that why right now but five years from now it will be clear. Stay Tuned
I know everybody is excited about pot stocks right now and stock prices are accelerating. But what goes up will eventually come down as will be the case with a lot of pot stock's share prices. I do believe there will be some exceptions one of which will be Canopy's stock price. I don't believe that most people understand truly the magnitude on earnings that legalization in the US and the acquisition of Acreage will have. There are big cannabis states and then there are really big cannabis states. And in the US the really big cannabis states are only two, NY and CA. CA really doesn't have a real dominant player but several big players of which Acreage has a license to operate in that state. And once NY comes on they will own the state and the entire NE corridor of the US. This will be huge and really the only company that will grow into it's valuation. Stay Tuned
5.35 for five gummies? Already sold out, so fast. If they taste anything like Martha gummies they’re absolutely delicious. Good news travels fast. How can they offer them so cheap? They must make them there at the Hershey factory while other have to outsource the work. I wonder what happens when they ramp up production? This is not good for other producers. Canopy=CPG Stay Tuned
Don’t let the trees prevent you from seeing the beauty of the forest. Stay Tuned
LOL!!! Your eyes haven’t seen nothing yet. Stay Tuned
GW pharmaceuticals is being bought out. I wonder what this means as far as the law suit? Stay Tuned
I buy CBD. Also people like myself buy CBD and probably will never purchase THC. I’ve always been bullish on CBD because it gives a relaxing feeling with possible health benefits. Stay Tuned
LOL!!! You keep telling yourself that. In the meantime I'll keep on making money!!!
What happens on February 12th?
Canopy is a CPG company with many products for all types of palates. What maybe trash to you can be treasure to someone else. Sales are painful for who me or you?
Something for everyone, right?
LOL!!! Way to go keep the dream alive!!
Sound familiar. Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah same things that was said about bootleggers/alcohol. Good luck with that train of thought. You can’t beat the machine my friend, Capitalism. Now who’s naive?
“You are cannabis naive” yes I am. And this is my point. Most are cannabis naive. The majority of the worlds population is cannabis naive. The target market of cannabis 2.0 products are for those of us who are cannabis naive. As the market matures most who indulge in cannabis will be cannabis(commodity) naive. Stay Tuned
The market doesn’t need luck like all things it will eventually evolve. Just look at Storz and Bickel revs and how revs continue to grow quarter over quarter. Even you will eventually evolve from smoking the paper to smoking from the device. I don’t smoke so I indulge through edibles. Eventually when the market matures most will indulge through edibles. And for medical it will be through oils, gels, creams and pills. Stay Tuned
So if you’re looking for Canopy to buy another company that grows cannabis forget about it it will never happen But if you’re looking for Canopy to buy a company that produce and manufacturer its own cannabis products you’re looking in the right direction But like David Klein stated “there’s not a lot of white space in our portfolio”. Can you think of any?
Canopy is a CPG company and is the reason that I invested. I didn’t invest and never have invested in Canopy because it’s commodity was so much better than it’s competitors. How can you tell? In reality what company can grow cannabis at consistent quality at mass production all the time. And with limited branding there’s really no real way to differentiate one cannabis product from another. Unless it’s measured by its physical attributes as some individuals on this board have been doing. So I invested in Canopy because of its CPG ambitions. How do we know because rather than contract with someone to make its products Canopy manufacture and produce its own products. Canopy’s management even Bruce has always had the vision of the CPG products being the end game. As you can see a lot of the bigger cannabis companies now have begun to figure that out but when the foundational fundamentals of your business are not that and you’ve already invested billions it’s kind of hard to turn the corner especially for a new industry with limited capital available. So the reason I say Canopy will eventually get out of the growing business well just look at the model that other CPG companies have. As always Stay Tuned.
My friend this shows that you’re an old dinosaur, or should I say a weed connoisseur. There’s a market and will continue to be a market for you all. But the future of cannabis is not in the commodity but rather the products (2.0) that can be made from the commodity. ex: Sugar taste great but cake taste better (of the which try not to indulge in neither).
It’s good enough for Mahomes it’s good enough for me. If it’s good enough for the BK Nets it’s good enough for me. It’s good enough to sell at Walmart, Circle K, Hy-Vee, CVS, Etc ...Etc.... you get the point. Stay Tuned
"DRINK BIOSTEEL NOT SUGAR" Rainbow Twist=Delicious. Good workout juice. Time to get to it. Stay Tuned
