The sell of the retail division is really no surprise. To be a successful consumer goods company the company doesn’t have to own the stores it’s products are sold in. How many consumer goods companies have been successful with that model? Now there are retail brands who have their own consumer brand products but never in this space. Initially until the market matured I guess there was a need to have stores but now there’re thousands of stores. Why continue to compete in that space? And remember I predicted eventually Canopy will be a division of constellation brands but not until the company can show sustainable profits. Just the beginning Stay Tuned
