Mal maybe GnF will give all the DVD's they don't want to the shareholders :-b
I can't believe it, GnF bought somebody. This is good because aquisitions is probably one of the best ways in increase subs in this market.
Funny GnF related story. If you want a good laugh check it out. You have to scroll down a bit to see it.

Stock.. Service has improved. I purchased two movies around christmas and they took over a month to get. I purchased a movie a week ago and it's already shipped. Just purchased two more movies in widescreen. We'll see how long they take. I've never had problems with the rental side just the purchase side.
I'm sure CC has already seen the Beta website because they want to make sure it fits thier "image"
Does anyone know when Baker & Taylor will take over shipping GnF new inventory? Also, remember this, maybe to be released on the new website:
"In addition to offering its current selection of DVDs and video games, GameZnFlix, Inc. will now offer books, books on disc, music, accessories and other merchandise. Baker & Taylor will also be handling the fulfillment direct to the consumer for items purchased at GameZnFlix.com so that GameZnFlix should be able to ship within 24 hours".
I sent an e-mail about my DVD that has been on order for a month. Here is the response. Oh well, maybe I will get the DVD before 2007 lol.
Question:
I have a DVD on order #XXXXX for 30 days. Can you give me a time table when I can expect to recieve this DVD.
Thanks,
Mr.
Solution:
I do show that the items have been placed on order. We do use a 3rd party vendor for our purchase program.

Talk about Blockbuster and Netflix distribution systems.

Guess we'll be back up there around march or when the new website is up heh
While your talking to him find out what the hold up is with the 30 day wait for new DVD's when you order them. This is when you click the "Buy" button on the GnF website. It's common problem and is a gripe at many consumer review websites.. This is my main concern right now because it will shy away subscribers with this long ship time.
Price of postage stamps went up today by .2 cents.

Sent, They just put GnF on the front page and framed the link into the CC website. It's got to be around the corner for the web site or I don't believe CC would of done this. Hopefully, the new web site will be a complete blend in with the CC website. also, I believe, like I said, we will see the addition of new movie titles, and other features that compare with gnF's rivals. I'm just thinking GnF have or already has put a HUGE order for video's and games in which they will display on the new web site. This will be another leap for GnF, putting them firmly as a competitor against netflix and BB on the Internet.
Another reason I think the new web site will be coming out very shortly. GnF has not updated their new releases and other movie selections in quite a while. I am thinking the next time we see new movies added they will all be on the new web site when it is rolled out. Another positive. New movies and New web site. Of course, I can always be wrong
We should be getting REALLY close the the new web site rolling out. IMO
Degreed, thats good to hear, maybe they have their popular titles in stock and have to order their other titles from the distributer. I'll be ordering a title about every 3 weeks. Just Started using GnF instead of Amazon to order my dvid's right now.
Frank, your right no logic in the market heh.. It's like dealing with a manic depressive on a daily basis
test
But according to the e-mail that fire sent they are "geared up and ready to handle any retailer". If they have more business than they can handle then this would not be a true statement. 10k is not really alot of people.
Not a good idea because it takes a month to recieve a DVD if you buy it. Try it out yourself. They need to fix this.
bomb.. I was thinking the same thing
What's the purpose of talknstock? Do you think this is a professional move for GnF? I still don't really get the purpose of this site. Why don't they just use their own website. Any comments?
Small article about yesterday's action. I don't know if this has been posted today but here it is.

I am thinking CC has plans now to make the new gameznflix webiste blend flawlessly with the circuit city website. This will make purchases and rentals quite easy. Maybe GnF had to make some last minute cosmetic changes to the new website to make this happen. Looks like CC and GnF will be bound at the hip
stock.. and when the new site rocks, which it will, the stock will go up up up... This is a major update for them..
yup, I see some good news coming out in the next few weeks. This will soon be history.
That is true, no insider selling going on. I wonder if an insider buy will happen at these levels? I bet the stock will jump up then.
Maybe, but I'm just trying to read in-between the lines of this new contract.
CC seems to be concerned about the posibility of GnF going under from their expansion of the termination area of the filing.
(ii) in the event that (a) either
Party becomes insolvent, enters into receivership, is the subject of a
voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy proceeding, or makes an assignment
for the benefit of creditors; or (b) a substantial part of either Party's
property is or becomes subject to any levy, seizure, assignment or sale
for or by any creditor or governmental agency. Upon termination or
expiration: (i) GNF shall continue to provide Services to Circuit City
Customers who subscribed to the Service(s) prior to termination of this
Agreement; (ii) both Parties shall pay the respective sums due to the
other Party pursuant to this Agreement as part of the final winding up
under the Agreement; and (iii) both Parties shall endeavor to provide
reasonable transition assistance if and when the Agreement is terminated.
At the rate Gnf is buring cash to prepare for this roll out, among other things, 16m could go fast. Especially if 15k is not their break even mark.
Anyone see GnF taking a loan from venture capitalists to get them over this money hump to profitability? Maybe another CISCO here where venture capitalists with money take over the company because of it's potential?
At least the good thing is that there is plenty of time for other good news before the march date.
We need another conference call about all this mess. That Q/A session generated more questions than answers.
Sombody get a part-time job with them and give us the inside scoop heh
This is what I think. I believe GnF was unprepared for the national roll-out and was swamped by alot of new subs. They probably talked to their DVD supplier and said that they need a HUGE order of DVDs. To get that huge order, GnF would have to wait a few months so the manufacturer can make them. This is where the extension comes in. I also think there were a few complaints about people not recieving movies that they purchased. Like the movies that I have not recieved. To remedy this, CC revised the agreement to let GnF prepare their distrubution centers and get their inventories up. Also, CC can audit them once the aggreement goes though to make sure their company is not back logged and they are completing all their orders in a time efficient manner. Also, CC may have a disagreement with their profit portion of subs. I just have a feeling that GnF are not the best record keepers. It's not a bad or a good thing this new filing. But one things is for sure, GnF has alot of overtime to put in to get their company up-to-speed before March. If GnF can't meet the demand, then CC will cancel in a heartbeat. 10 days notice this time.
I'm, thinking around 11,000 subs. Two more months and we should have around 15k
Anyone know why the stock went way up and the dropped?
Yes, the rental service is good but I still have two new DVD's on order which I purchased. One DVD has been on order since the 15th of last month. I will post when GnF ships them.
The rule of law is that if motley fool likes a stock, then sell it immediately. If motley fool talks down a stock, that means it's about to take off. And if motley fool really likes a stock that means the company is about to go bankrupt.
I think they are too busy counting their subs to make a PR heh.
Still a low price for GnF. We're leaving this level for good. Good by 1 cent!
