Well I see that the video switches to full screen without a moments hesitation now. Other than that I cannot detect any other obvious improvement.
But it sounds as buggy as Clipstream ...from the COMMENTS section of the article you first referenced:
"JAN 1605:12 AM+-+1
Installed these drivers on my Dell Venue 11 Pro (7139). They did odd things™.
PowerShell ISE wouldn't open, came up with a JIT error and tried to open a debugger.
Windows Photo Viewer just plain wouldn't open.
My helpdesk software wouldn't either.
The Intel Driver Control Panel also wouldn't open.
Rolling back to the old driver fixed it.
Oh well, will have to wait for Dell to certify the driver I suppose."
AND from the article itself: "Note that the VP9 acceleration is partial, so decoding won't be fully offloaded from the CPU cores. Still, I'm curious to see the power and performance implications of these new capabilities. If history is any indication, hardware-assisted decode should enable smooth playback at higher bitrates and resolutions, and it could also cut power use and extend battery life.
FINAL TRANSCRIPT
January 14, 2015 – 5:00 p.m. E.T.
Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. First Quarter Results
"...we’ve continued to recruit and we’ve been in the process of hiring and recruiting fairly
aggressively with engineers, project management professionals, QA, and we’re still recruiting sales,
marketing and support staff.
While we’ll continue to have a significant effort on development, we expect this year, this 2015
year to mark the transition of the Company to a greater focus on sales and marketing over
development. You know, the development risk is behind us and we are all well positioned to show
growth in our business over the next several years,..."
Steve thinks that the development risk is behind them! Yet they are still tinkering...
I am still holding my stock... unfortunately.
The price per share right now reflects only the value of MPE and really most people are completely discounting Clipstream to zero value right now.
Overall revenues were basically flat year-over-year in 2014 unless you think $100,000 up or down is a significant amount – I don't. I don't quite understand why revenues in '11 and '12 were 4M and then revenues for '13 and '14 were both @ $.4 million less. I wasn't a stockholder in 2011 or 2012, so maybe somebody can clue me in as to what has changed. Destiny also had better operating income and a positive net income back then which started disappearing in 2013 and then did go negative in 2014. Who wouldn't be worried about that trend?
I too am wondering if there is some fatal flaw to Steve's Clipstream technology. At the moment, it looks like there is because he's been unable to show us differently and they have had at least 12 months to do so. I'm not optimistic now I'm merely hopeful.
I don't have much to lose by holding and if we get (extremely) lucky maybe they can pull a rabbit out of the hat. As it stands now Destiny Media is my worst investment ever, lifetime.
As much as I despise that kind of poster, it would have been better if I had taken Keibuko's bash to heart.
Brooklyn's point questioning why anybody would want to sell at these prices/at this level when the company has a real business with recurring revenues is well-taken however. Only a fool or someone who desperately, desperately needs the money would sell now at almost historic lows. Stocks fluctuate. It won't stay here forever and it is not likely that will go down significantly from here.
Who wouldn't want to sell a thousand cartons and get $3000 worth of stock that could easily be worth $30,000 in a handful of years? Now to find out if the smokes are as good as they are cracked up to be...
:(( Wish I could afford to buy them after being hammered down two – thirds
Thanks for taking the time to post. I'm still holding but I'm not willing to slap more money down.
another two-worder ;) We're hanging on every letter...
The two gentlemen that wrote the article are:

I wonder if they've written anything as a follow-up to that 2008 article, the implications of which probably do have a bearing on the stock action here with DSNY.
In the absence of real sellers, market makers can simply naked short since they are exempted from normal rules, creating MANUFACTURED DOWNWARD PRESSURE ON a stock's price. The same shares can be borrowed and lent, re-lent and re- borrowed many times — this has quite a depressing effect on stock prices. Kuboko or whatever his name is probably has a brother in law or cousin who knew or was himself a marketmaker who talked a little too much when he got drunk – so K found out that they were targeting this stock. If one reads the article you linked to its clear that no one can get to the bottom of how much naked shorting goes on really.
I would like to read a follow-up article (of the same caliber) telling us how things function today read naked shorting and their Regulation SHO list.
Shorting by individuals might be what is counted and reported then we can see. Shorting, naked or otherwise by market makers and others with these exemptions can never be seen.
The only lesson to learn in all this is to avoid stocks where people are complaining about naked shorting because where there is smoke there probably is fire.
The only way to limit the power of those who manipulate these markets is to close your margin account and open up a new account — Cash account. There's no other way! Do you think enough investors would take this step? NO
What did you get? 20K? I hope for all our sakes that your instinct is right, because we certainly don't have any decent evidence to go on.
So far Kuboko or whatever his name was -- his instincts were right from where? $1.75 on down? Or am I giving him too much credit?
How is your investment in... how is your investment in DECN panning out for you? At least you're not losing your shirt as badly as some are here right?
Trolls are out there. They cannot be bargained with. They cannot be reasoned with. They do not feel pity, remorse or fear. They take tremendous joy in your suffering. Suffering and pain is their subsistence, the very thing they LIVE to create so they can FEED.
On a brighter note, it is good to see some of the regulars are back and picking up 50 cent shares.
Of course, you would prefer that he sell his/her shares, right?
In retrospect, obviously he and many others made a bad investment because the stock went down, down, down.
The supreme irony would be if a stockholder sells at or very near absolute lows, and then as stocks are known to "fluctuate", it turns around and goes back up.
If you are buying it $.50 right now YOU could be making a pretty good investment. So, whatever you are doing, do it. Mind your own business and don't worry about what others are doing or how ironical it may be or it may seem or not — all theoretical anyway.
Silence is olden, not golden. Watching me grow old en you too!
cool that you are willing to admit it. Plenty of "investors" do many of the same things that the Traders do, especially #10.
Good luck as a trader and an investor!
More like… Exasperating!
not much to say... very few buyers lately.
Is XXII's IP applicable to caffeine regulation in coffee plants? Discussion?
I like that comment: "Glad they went to a good home."
Good luck, I should say better luck with your future investments I suppose. I wish the same for myself, i.e., better luck with my future investments...
Precisely!
until they demonstrate that they can make money out of clipstream
It's increasingly difficult for market makers to make a market for a stock that very few people are interested in – that's what it's all about.
Congratulations to those of us who have held onto the stock and have just reached the 50% down– on– my–investment mark, like me!
Hehehe, you certainly gave me a genuine laugh out loud there!
It might just be coming from losses.
I know that is a pessimistic view, but I've lowered my expectations because I have been bitch slapped more than once here. Happy to change my assessment based on a new reality any time…
What bullcrap!
When I was a college kid I did plenty of things that I wouldn't ever dream of doing again now or ever after. PERIOD
The graph tells me that Yahoo and Google had zero to negligible income in the first year. Is that so?
Often lead to great disappointments…
Expectations huh? Great Expectations?
I don't know but my broker shows a short sale restriction in effect for July 8 through July 9.
I had a limit order in for $3.22 which I placed last night. Thank God my broker did the right thing and bought me in at the opening— price of $3.08! I saw the bullish engulfing candle yesterday and thought that it meant the stock will trend upward. So we will see! Right now I am happy with the shares I bought for $3.08
GLTA
hehe, I knew that you would jump me. Remember that phrase from school?
Hey, I hope that you are right. It certainly does seem that you're reading deeply into the tea leaves in search of revenue. Love it to happen but... I think what we are going to see our unhealthy expenses cutting pretty deep into revenue. No, I haven't sold my stock although you aren't asking, I'm just offering.
Steve's purchasing is encouraging but you yourself have said plenty about why that might mean very little in the end.
Anyone that has Time Warner has piss poor download and upload speeds!
I am not a very good judge of video quality so I'll leave it to others more discerning.
I guess Comcast is not available there either then. Using Comcast my download speed is consistently around 24 mbps.
I've thought about switching to Verizon a couple of times but I'd have the same problem you have because Fios is not available on my county road.
Interesting….and what was your download speed?
For today's volume Destiny is showing only 2000 shares traded — what!
I just hope that the pressure being applied by Google Verify will succeed in making the ISPs much more compliant in terms of fulfilling what they advertise their download speeds to be.
That was a great map of download speeds by country by the way!
That is a very, very good point. A significant portion of the rest of the world DOES have faster Internet connection speeds. For example:
Today more than 80 percent of South Koreans are wired, and Seoul's been called the "bandwidth capital of the world."
Clipstream adoption makes a lot more sense in any of the above markets I suppose… comments?
Hoping that Steve is right. He is certainly putting his money where his mouth is!
Ran just fine on my PC but as you say was a bit grainy. Unless Coca-Cola wanted it grainy ... to reflect the grainy lives that World Cup soccer impacts around the world.
They call it football for good reason [foot ball] !
I tweeted back to them taking care to put a . in front of the @ClipStream. All my followers on twitter [not many unfortunately] will receive the tweet too thanks to the . in front !!

Did I miss an announcement about actual approval of European Watermarking Patent?
I heard the one about suspected approval...
