Same here. I can see the app and download it, but don't see anywhere where it shows the number of downloads on my iPhone. Hmmm
LOL. That it is!
Cool! Spread the word!
It does look good! Finally, it appears that we may be on the road to good things with ALRT. Now, if revenues grow, share price increases and we don't get hurt in any up-listing and R/S moving to the big boy exchange - we may be seeing some exciting times coming in 2024. Go ALRT/Covetrus!
I agree. Could be as simple as someone wanting to free up $26K to buy the dip on some big board stock, figuring that if ALRT was going somewhere it would have showed it already with the distribution deal and PR's.
Or, maybe a divorce pending. An even simpler answer would be they're looking at their property tax and other bills that need paying. Maybe they were just at a casino and lost their shirt and didn't want to have to answer to their spouse for the devastation to their checking account! LOL. GLTUA
Could really use a huge success with ALRT in 2023 considering the 20+% losses this past year we've seen in the markets at large under Joe's economy in 2022. Go ALRT!
Another issue is that they've been acquired by TPG Capital, a private equity firm. I went looking for Covetrus on the NASDAQ and they no longer are listed since they are now privately held.
Check out
Covetrus Newsroom
I too would have thought that with the announcement of the distribution partnership, investor interest would have taken off to a much greater degree. Not based so much with ALRT's announcement, but with Covetrus' announcement of the same. Covetrus is a $4.3B company with what you would think has far reaching marketing presence and potential.
Guess we need to continue with patience to see what the product revenues are going to look like. We're still at the very beginning of this and if GluCurve takes hold in the market, we should begin to see a ramp up in interest shortly.
Dexcom's gross profit of better than 64% ain't bad, but when you include SG&A plus R&D, their EBITDA runs closer to 19%. Still not bad, but not obscene. Being in the manufacturing business myself, I ran a GP closer to 30% and EBITDA closer to 15%. The big difference being R&D expense, where I ran at roughly 3% of net sales and Dexcom appears to run at closer to 14%, more typical of pharma.
Anyway, go Sidney!
You made some good points LOS.
Besides Dexcom "market-based" pricing, what factors make their solution so much more expensive in comparison to ALRT?
Thanks.
"According to Dexcom, approximately one-third of people with private insurance will pay $0 out of pocket for G7, and a majority will pay less than $40 per month. G7 will be reimbursed by over 97% of private insurance and is covered by Medicare, as well as Medicaid in 45 states."

No kidding. But we're getting to the "fish or cut bait" of it all. If ALRT SG tries stringing us much past EOY I think we'll see a lot of bait cutting. Of course, I've said that every year the past 4 or 5 years as an investor in this company. LOL.
One thing that I noticed is that my cost basis increased by $0.0037/share on 250,000 shares with this merger. I spoke to TD Ameritrade and asked them if they knew what happened, since this was a 1:1 exchange on shares with no split. They didn't have anything they could tell me except this was subject to change with the merger being so new. Hmmm... Not sure if anyone else noticed this with their shares and brokerage firm.
Well, that was interesting
027 and falling on heavy day trading (for ALRT). A 52-week low. Real confidence builder!
Can't argue with that Trade4today.
Evidently ALRT's 9/30 PR (update to the Singapore migration merger and GluCurve Pet CGM commercialization efforts) announcing the delay hasn't sparked a lot of confidence or interest from new investors, as evident from the slow downward drip in share price and low trade volumes. Still hopeful that we don't end up a bunch of bag holders. Could really use some good news within the next two months.
"The GluCurve production line is up and running, but our manufacturer has experienced delays before final testing can occur and our completed distribution agreement can be signed. During this time, we will continue to work closely with our planned partner on marketing content, strategy, and execution of the launch." Mr. Stern concludes, "We believe this extra time will contribute to a stronger and more successful launch in the coming months. We have universally received fantastic feedback on both the product and its need in the marketplace, and we look forward to providing more updates in the near future."
Let's sure in the heck hope so.
03 on the ask now - granted trade volume is tiny but there's pressure on selling. The recent PR was NOT good news IMHO, and it will be interesting to see what the share price falls to by end of year with no solid contract or revenues. Unless, of course, our ship comes in. We'll soon find out whether we've struck gold, or we're just a bunch of bag holders.
I would like to commend the Admins for this message board for deleting personal insults and attacks. Some people have different opinions on a stock or company, and should be allowed to voice them.
Thanks admins!

I haven't seen the Bid price that low in a while (or the Ask, for that matter). Must have been that encouraging PR sent out the other day. Can't wait to see what the share price looks like in a couple months.
Trade4today - I think that is the more likely scenario based on history with this company. Since this latest PR, we don't see people buying but rather slowly peeling off shares (that's all one can do with the low trade volume trying to avoid taking a major bath).
Let's hope that we see some REAL news, positive news en route to December 31st. I want to have a good feeling and not one of regret for not bailing on this years ago. GLTU!
With 552M outstanding shares and a current market cap of $19.3M, do you really see this company jumping to a $552M market cap on a pet CGM? Anything is possible, of course.
But I think that is very unlikely in the short term. Even at 25¢ a share that would take this company to a market cap of $138M - which is still pretty optimistic for the short term. We'll see.
Right. I haven't added shares in a long time and don't plan to anytime soon. Everyone has their own personal limit of risk, and with ALRT I've hit mine. If this thing does hit and we do see some wealth creation, then who knows. I may pick up some more shares down the road depending on a lot of factors. I've seen some crazy talk on this board in regard to the share price getting to a buck or higher (neglecting a R/S). I'd be tickled pink if it even gets to a quarter. That would be better than a 7X return for me. After 5+ years of holding, seems fair enough. Everything beyond that is all gravy. LOL. GLTU!
Let's hope so BuzzLite. I didn't like the PR.
The GluCurve production line IS NOT up and running, if acceptable pre-production runs (testing) serves as a benchmark for readiness and is a requirement. Also, it appears from their awkwardly phrased statement that a completed distribution agreement is dependent upon the manufacturer being ready to go, which it isn't. Supposedly, that's close to the end of this calendar year. We'll see.
The rest of the gobblety-gook in Mr. Stern's release is marketing BS to soften the blow of more delays to investors. Been there and done that myself. Not down on ALRT and obviously wish them the best of success - for all or us.
Drip drip drip... We're going the wrong way. Share price now at 0357 on a single trade of 5K shares, so far today. Commercialization pushed out from September to EOY. Fingers crossed this is the last delay before realization of payday.
ALRT says that they will keep us updated. Let's hope these updates come soon and provide real value to shareholders. Don't fail us now ALRT. Git 'er done!
Rdizz... cool. I bought and sold ABWN many times through the period I "played" them, and was making money myself. l eventually accumulated a $10K investment before the bottom fell out and the share price went to 0.0001. Ended up taking the loss and spreading the loss out on income tax filings over a few years.
But yeah. They pumped that ticker like no other. The SEC filed a lawsuit against them for fraud. Never heard what the final outcome was. This is why I am hesitant with any OTC and especially ALRT where I have another $10K or so invested. I'm not saying that Chan and the company are anything like ABWN - in fact they aren't. There's been no toxic dilution of shares, and they've been pretty up front with everything that I can see and understand. But the ongoing delays, the shift in core product offering (to a Pet CGM), and bad income statements with an ugly balance sheet so typical of a startup OTC company has me nervous. Sooner or later the banks and investors lose patience and the cash injections come to a stop. This purported upcoming "partnership" is supposed to parlay those fears. Let's hope so! GLTUA!
edro - say what? Most of the active posting members of this group have accumulated FAR MORE than the current "daily average" volume. The 10-day average volume is 43K shares. That comes out to something like $1600 at current share price. What do you own? $500 worth? I'm not criticizing a $500 investment, but OTC stocks like ALRT are nothing short of gambling. And personally, I don't consider nickel ante card games as "gambling". But GLTU!
Ever try to sell hundreds of thousands of shares (some folks here own millions of shares) on an OTC whose trade volume is next to nothing?
Rdizz, so have I (been burned in the OTC markets). Ever hear of Airborne Wireless? Another highly touted startup - they were doing TV ads on FOX and other networks - with nothing but a negative cash flow. I swore after that hose job I would never touch the OTC's again.
But, here I am. Hopefully not a repeat bag holder. GLTU my friend
Well said Trade4today. As you put it, if the news was so good in the PR, we'd see a positive change in share price. Volume so far today is notta.
Like everyone else invested in this company, I certainly am counting on ALRT making it. Doesn't make extending patience month after month, year after year any easier. GLTUA.
Better be careful or the "usual suspects" will insult, malign, and marginalize you for not exhibiting undying devotion and exuberance for yet another delay... they'll label you as Mr. Negative as they've done with me and others.
But I understand and sympathize with you Trade4today. I too have been patiently waiting for 5 years now, and I guess we'll go for another three months (or longer) riding on these teaser PR's and moving dates. That doesn't mean that you, or Rdizz, or I are negative on ALRT. Just means that patience has its limits and we want to see a return sooner than later... than much much later.
We all hope for the best for ALRT, and for all of us investors. We've been patient and continue to be patient.
Welcome to the cynics club on ALRT. Be careful. The "dollar land any day now" crowd will skewer you with personal attacks if you post anything but dedicated optimism for this ticker.
First got in, in 2017. 1/4 million shares at an averaged down price of 035. GLTU!
... and continues. Something this year would be nice.
Hoping that 'very soon news release' is a very, very good one! GLTUA
30K shares @ 0411 on the Bid now with 221K@ 05 on the Ask. Going to need more positive news for this to move upward and onward.
295K shares traded so far today, which is encouraging. This early news "hinting" at a pending deal structure may be starting to spark a little interest, although I would have thought the share price would be higher than 045. Oh well, no mind. If the deal gets inked we should see some real action. GLTUA
Fingers crossed!
With ya on that Rdizz. But trying not to get my hopes up too high. A 50¢ share price seems pretty optimistic. Over the last 5 years of so, I've dropped my sell to 10¢ and even 8¢, and haven't come close on any good news. This may be the one and I've bumped my price up, but not holding my breath. It would be a helluva surprise though, wouldn't it? GLTUA!
