Same opinion here, johnglenn. With management's options set to expire in May 2020, a deal has to be done this year or my "algo" will trigger and I'll start pealing off shares before the mad rush to dump (hopefully). Especially now that trades commissions are $0 and I can dump small amounts like 10K without too much pain or large dumps pushing the pps lower.
With all the brokerages going to $0 trade commissions and no revenue deal in sight, I would expect more investors to start unloading their shares in smaller blocks keeping the share price closer to 035 than 040.
Are we on the precipice of a revenue deal? Any day now?
Revenue deal this month? Zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
That's what I like about you AJ! Good sense of humor.
Another week, another month has passed. Maybe this is the week.
That will soon be the ask price. Even less if a revenue deal isn't made soon
Yeah. I read that article a few days ago. Someone else posted the link. When the 68M option shares at a strike price of 035 that the CEO gave out to his execs/staff expire in May 2020, and if you're still holding, and "if" there has been no revenue deal before that, you'll be a bag holder.
So I agree with the author 100%. But I'm into these guys for nearly $10K (not just a nibble for me, like the author recommended) so I'm not waiting until May 2020 to start unloading.
Wish I had started doing that a year ago. Now, I'm afraid that the minute I start - that's when these guys make a deal. Silly me.
I keep thinking so AJ. Keeping up the faith!
Looks like someone has seen enough.
Yes sir. I should probably do the same. Especially for the self-righteous ones.
Seeking Alpha's blog post nailed it. And nope. No market reaction to the recent release.
I wasn't going to give this stock until May 2020 to come alive. Thinking more about end of 2019. No revenues by then, begin to dump. But maybe I'll hold out until we get closer to May 5, 2020 when the options expire. We'll see....
It's a BIG SCAM. These jackals took me and many "speculative" investors for many $1,000's through their toxic dilution of shares.
The SEC should shut these guys down. Truly a bunch of crooks.
I'm just happy it's not a scam like those "Airborne" communications guys were that took me and a lot of speculative investors for lots of money.
I don't doubt that Mr. Chan and $ALRT are the 'real' deal. I concur that there's been nothing to indicate that they aren't. Just waiting on revenues like everyone else. Been waiting 2 years now, and hopefully the wait will not be much longer.
Very encouraging LastOne, and thanks for the positive update. Definitely understand the start up time required. Everything I have heard and read about the CEO, his approach to this venture, and his commitment to making it happen are all positive.
I think I heard the about the plan or desire to uplist to the NASDAQ some time ago. Probably can't get too excited because that would entail a reverse split and as you know the share price drops frequently after an RS. Hopefully the share price will be well up there at that time and we can all make a profitable decision
Keeping the faith brother.
Maybe next month. Or, next year. Ugh.
I don't recall the strike price for options - for the "no sales" Sales team. Was it 035?
Agreed. Now, all we (ALRT) needs to do is convince the HC providers.
The only thing that keeps me hanging in with this stock is that the they haven't started with toxic dilution and haven't pumped it with a bunch of phony PR's. That, and I couldn't unload my shares without taking a bath at this point.
The CEO seems genuinely focused on closing revenue deals, growing his business. Taking a while, but so far seems to be the real deal.
Good for you. We live in the countryside and we're surrounded by farmland here in southern WI. Neighbors are dairy and corn farmers. Have something like 13 cheese factories in our county, alone.
Have a little less than 200K shares so if this thing pops, we won't be buying any farm... not unless the share price goes 75X my current position. While that's nice to think about, not realistic. But even at a $1, I'd be ecstatic and combine the profits with proceeds from selling our current summer cabin on WI River - and buy a nice lake home. And small fishing boat! LOL
Great post LastOne!
I wholeheartedly agree - especially with your comment about Chan and ALRT not resorting to not diluting shareholders through toxic debt. I got burned recently by ABWN doing exactly that. Despicable.
Been doing Pennies among other trading for a while myself. I wish I had done half as much research on some of the pennies I bought and sold as you. I would be further ahead at this point. But we all appreciate what you're saying about Mr. Chan and his company. Have confidence that he's the real deal, and if there's any speculative investment to be made in a penny stock, this is the one.
Keeping the faith and holding! GLTUA
I can't disagree with your argument. I ran a $30M company, part of a $500M corp, and major moves like creation of a new business unit, alliance with a new strategic partner, or even adoption of a new ERP system could take 1, 2 or even 3 years to come to fruition.
Putting frustrations with the speed of solidifying a revenue deal aside, everyone who has a substantial investment in ALRT should realize this is a speculative stock at this point. And with that, comes substantial risk. GLTUA!
Not yet, anyway. But I know what you're saying. Many of us in the same boat. Holding too many shares to bail out based on lack of interest in this stock right now.
On the plus side, at least no toxic dilution of our shares, yet. Before that happens, I hope Chan gives this one nice pump so that bailing is a realistic option if needed. GLTUA!
LOL. It would be nice if he created a selling opportunity too!
Like watching paint dry. C'mon Mr. Chan. Let's get a deal signed!
Timing or the MM's playing games? Ask on L2 showed 10K shares at 037 earlier. Put in a buy at that price for 10K shares, and immediately after I hit the confirm button the share price went up to 0393.
Hmmmmm......
Are we there yet?
TDA changed their L2 format and I can no longer see individual trades. Just the Bid/Ask price and volume from the MM's. Really pisses me off.
In any event, looks like someone or some folks got a little impatient as well, and decided to reduce their positions. The next 30 - 90 days looks like the window to reducing my position if there is no "solid" news. Patience is often a virtue, but excessive patience is not. We shall see.....
Agreed.
Getting close! $144 in shares traded so far today!
Will there be a PR today? LOL
63 here. And same situation here with cash. Sitting good and my investment here can sit forever from that perspective. Just after 2 years going sideways, ya get a bit anxious! LOL. GLTUA!
gooferball... that's some good stuff right there! LOL
Nor today.
Signed,
Your twin.
I'm having a great time watching Trump think he can threaten China and Xi Jinping. My IRA's and LT investments are loving it too.
When is Trump going to figure out that Xi and China aren't phased by his economic threats and childish tweets? Has Trump ever heard of "Speak softly and carry a big stick"? Doesn't appear so....
Down $38. Where's that PR??? Are we there yet?
