Man, the commentary on this board sure has changed the past couple of weeks. Already some of the "long term believers" have disappeared, and I suspect the next wave will be cashing out profits in a few weeks. Anyways, those who cash out early are going to regret it.
It looks like I found my time to buy back in. Although the news is a little scary, I have no doubt the marijuana industry will thrive long term. Also, I have a good feeling this administration is going to get turned upside down this year.
Thanks for keeping me level-headed Richard, sorry for getting carried away. I will not mention blockchain on this board again unless Dr. Lebby does first. If you don't mind me asking, what is your background in the tech industry?
I am not saying that these underground cryptocurrencies will be the future internet, but the underlying technology certainly will be a big part of it because large companies are already working on blockchain implementations. Underground technologies such as Ethereum , IOTA, or NEO will also have large use because they are fully available to the public and people are tired of a few large companies controlling everything. By the way, there are several monster companies already creating their own blockchains. Here are a few links that might be of interest:

I am still unsure of exactly how LWLG might fit into all of this though. You guys are much more knowledgeable than I about LWLG's technology and internet technology itself. Can you help connect the dots and explain where LWLG could possibly fit into the mix?
Hi Steve. I am very, very excited about Ethereum, which took the idea of blockchain technology and created a way to build de-centralized apps (called dApps) on the blockchain. I am still very new to this technology, but I will try my best to explain it as accurately as I can. Currently, large amounts of data are stored on central servers. If the server is hacked, the data can be altered. Ethereum is a collection of hundreds of thousands of "nodes", which are basically computers devoted to being a data point, allowing for decentralization, and more security. Currently, Bitcoin and other cryptos are simply just a store of value. Ethereum created a decentralized network that allows users to create dApps, as well as their own coins on the network. The network is still in its infancy, as the first big dApps are scheduled to release this year, including a few backed by foreign banks. However, the network cannot handle all of these dApps running on the network yet. I could be wrong, but I believe it has to do with the needed computing power and electricity costs. I'm sorry if I'm being a walking advertisement, i am just very, very excited about this. I am an undergraduate EE student, and my school is going to start developing experimentally on the Ethereum network next quarter. Sorry if I am violating any rules by going off topic.
I do not know a lot about bitcoin itself, but I have become very, very interested in other blockchain technologies with more uses. Essentially, a blockchain is s public ledger, a log containing the details every transaction. Each block is a list of these details, and each block points to the next. Once a transaction is confirmed and added to this blockchain, it cannot be changed; it is now a part of history. Currently bitcoin uses "proof of work" to verify these transactions, in which "miners", AKA people with powerful computers that carry out a "hashing" algorithm, to confirm these transactions. Upon each successful confirmation, the miner receives a fee from the parties involved in the transaction. The energy required for these transactions is very expensive, and because of price of bitcoin now, the fees are also ridiculous. There are so many new blockchains with better solutions to this problem, and honestly, Bitcoin will be left in the dust. Blockchain technology is the future of the internet, but it faces serious scalability problems. Ethereum, which is a blockchain technology that currently produces the most transactions per day, still only can handle about 15 transactions/second. They will eventually move away from the "proof of work" concept with miners, and somehow allow users to stake coins to verify transactions, although it is still very unclear to me how this will work. But basically, this will greatly cut down energy costs.
I'd recommend reading the Bitcoin whitepaper itself, written by the creator(s) of Bitcoin. It has become tradition that each new blockchain technology releases one of these whitepapers, which includes an abstract and explanation of their technology.
You can read it here: bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
Boy am I glad I loaded up at the bottom. I averaged down to $0.40. I cannot wait to see the results for next quarter. If anybody finds new video of the CEO speaking, please post. This is going to be a fun company to watch!
Thanks for sharing. We are one step closer!
We are seeing a nice gap up today. Perhaps Mr. Abu Dhabi is done selling shares.
I've been wrong today twice before noon, guess I should stop making assumptions before checking again lol.
Gosh Photonics, thank you for putting in all of the time to put this stuff together. Amazing work, very much appreciated.
Nevermind, it looks like they finally fixed it. Now we just need the fix here.
Sadly, MPX is still listed as MPS on the OTC website.
I wish there was a way to filter out of all posts about the "shorts". I do not want to block you guys because you do post great information about LWLG from time to time, but you are flooding the message board with these posts. I do not have time to wade through the message board for posts, so I feel this is causing me to miss out on valuable information about the company. Unless you are here to trade the stock, there is no reason to talk about the "shorts". I am under the impression that this message board is mainly for holders of the stock, and for this reason I am politely asking that you guys limit your posts about the "shorts" and short interest. Sure, if you would like to occasionally make a post about the short interest every couple weeks, go for it. Other than that, if this continues, I am sorry to say that I will probably have to block some of you. Anyways, best of luck to you all, whether you be traders or holders, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a happy anything else you might experience during these times! May we all find happiness in 2018 and beyond, especially from Lightwave Logic!
Sometimes an opportunity is just too good to pass up. I'm going to have to trim my AAPL shares and double down on LWLG in the morning. Buckle up, guys!
I'm not sure about this, but I suspect that large Indian shareholder is still unloading shares.
On the OTC website and here they are listed as MPS Bioceutical. I emailed them to fix it but no luck yet.
I don't think so either. I'm going to be kicking myself over this one.
Whoa, it looks like I sold my position at the worst possible time. Oh well, growing pains I suppose. I will be closely watching and hoping for a dip. Congrats to all of you holders!
That is only due to the the USD/CAD exchange rate lowering.
I think you are right Richard. My god, 2018 is going to be exciting.
I will be buying back into GRWG on the dip (if it comes?). I personally believe this stock is the higher risk/reward, so I decided to roll the dice a little.
I literally sold my whole GRWG position to more double my position in MPXEF. I hope I don't regret it, but this share price is just too low to pass up.
This explains the recent price drop. A large holder has been mass selling shares.

The craze is still with Canadian stocks right now. Once that comes to fruition, people will hop on the USA train hoping to reap the same rewards. The big bump is going to happen, we just have to be patient and buckle down.
This volume is insane, what could be triggering this? Is there some TA statistic telling everyone to move on This? I haven't seen any news.
Wow, look at this bump!!!
Yessir. I check this board daily, there just isn't much to talk about right now. Just sitting back and watching things develop :)
Here are some reviews of the Melting Point Extracts brand, 4.8/5.0!! Branding is important, and MPX is such a cool one. Good name, nice simple but appropriate logo, and from the reviews, a great product. I'm a California resident, and I will be on the lookout for MPX products around here starting next month.

I wish I was with your broker. I have to wait two trading days until my funds become available.
Thanks for sharing. I'm actually very happy the share price dropped, as my money clears tomorrow:) I highly doubt we will see the share price this low after the next quarterly report.
Here's a list of the revenues for the top marijuana companies in the US and Canada. MPX is right below Aphria.
https://www.newcannabisventures.com/public-cannabis-company-revenue-tracker-provides-updates-through-november-14-2017/
Thanks for pointing this company out to me 1990. Very glad to have found this early on. I just watched the two videos posted, as well as checked out the Q1 2018 filing. Impressive growth! I will be taking a position in the morning:)
Question: why is the name on OTC MPS? Isn't it supposed to be MPX?
This means we would start producing at the start of 2019! In only about a year, this share price could quadruple.
Does anybody have any insight about TSX actually delisting Aphria? I would have bought in a long time ago but still haven't because this worries me.
Of course I do. I actually read everything the company puts forth, have studied semiconductors, pv solar cells, etc., and I actually read everuthing on this board to get a better understanding. I have only been around this stock for 6 months though, and I have lost trust because of the issue at hand.
I hope you will all accept me back into your family if the dust settles. I am the prodigal son who left to go sow his oats.
I see the volume is 15 LOL. Love this stock. I need to keep accumulating at this level.
